• Rosmarie (6/5): War ok, würden aber eher nicht wiederkommen. - Die Lage war super. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war gut aber ..... Die Zimmer waren sehr sehr sehr klein. Die ganze Ausstattung nützt nichts, wenn man sich kaum drehen und wenden kann. Das Schlimmste allerdings war, dass die Einzelzimmer nicht mal ein Fenster hatten bzw. da war ein Fenster, das auf einen nicht sehr gut riechenden Schacht ging. Kein Tageslicht, nichts. Allerdings war es daher sehr ruhig ;-) Das Badezimmer des Doppelzimmers (mit Fenster :-) war viel zu klein. Es konnte sich nur eine Person darin aufhalten und man darf definitiv nicht zu kräftig gebaut sein .... Wir hätten diese Unterkunft nicht gebucht, wenn wir das gewusst hätten. Es gibt aber tatsächlich auch viel schönere Zimmer ..... Die vielgepriesene Dachterrasse hat uns auch eher enttäuscht - Mit Plastikplanen verhangen und sehr eng ....

• Daniela (8/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in praktischer Nähe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten - Kleines Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Lokalviertel Psyrri, fußläufig ist man in wenigen Minuten am Monastiraki Platz, d.h. viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Ich würde die Gegend, da sehr belebt, als sicher bezeichnen, wenn auch schäbige Häuser rundherum den Eindruck trüben. Das Hotel hat extrem freundliches Personal und ist ordentlich und sauber. Das Frühstück wird auf einer überdachten Terrasse im 4.Stock eingenommen und bietet genug Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind eher klein, aber sauber und es gibt jeden Tag kostenlos frisches Wasser. Wir hatten Zimmer nach hinten und ohne Ausblick. Man sah auf eine Mauer bzw. ein scheinbar leerstehendes schäbiges Gebäude mit Sperrmüll im Hof. Beim Lüften störte abends eine sehr laute Lüftung, wahrscheinlich aus dem Nebenhaus, die bis nach 23 Uhr lief. Die Einzelzimmer haben überhaupt keine Aussicht und sind ohne Tageslicht (haben ein Fenster, aber dieses zeigt in einen stockdunklen Schacht) und wirklich sehr sehr klein. Das Hotel ist nicht barrierefrei.

• Marian (9/5): Veľmi dobré miesto pre poznávací pobyt v Aténach. - Výborná poloha, pešia vzdialenosť od metra aj prakticky všetkých hlavných atrakcií Atén. Útulný hotel s dobrým vybavením izby vrátane klimatizácie, aj keď s menšími priestormi v kúpeľni či vo výťahu. Prekvapujúco pestré raňajky s možnosťou výberu teplých jedál z jedálneho lístka, drobné pozornosti, ktoré v 3-hviezdičkovom hoteli prekvapia (lacný minibar, kávovar, papuče na izbe, zubné kefky či holenie pre hostí). Ústretový personál na recepcii či v raňajkovej miestnosti. Jediným (menším) problémom je horšia zvuková izolácia okien od vonkajšieho pouličného ruchu, ale hotel si je toho vedomý a ponúka na noc štuple do uší (vtipné a účinné) :-).

• Kliko (8/5): Wir würden es wieder buchen. - Nettes kleines Hotel mit sehr kleinen Zimmern, aber die Lage ist unübertrefflich gut, direkt am Rande des Ausgehviertels und doch schon ruhig. Von Außen habe wir uns ein wenig erschrocken, da in der ganzen Umgebung die Wände und Tore mit Graphits besprüht sind. Aber das ist halt so in Athen. Gesamt gesehen ist das Hotel gut, Preis Leistung absolut Ok und empfehlenswert. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall wieder nehmen. In unserem Badezimmer war der Boden feucht, weil ein Wasseranschluss defekt ist und wahrscheinlich nie repariert werden wird. Aber nicht tragisch.
• Chris (8/5): Great Location, nice hotel! - Athens Market Portrait was a great base for our stay in Athens. The location is excellent, very central and within easy walking distance of Monastiraki, Psirri, restaurants, bars and many of the main sights. It is ideal if you want to explore the city on foot. The hotel has a nice boutique feel rather than feeling like a large chain hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable and well presented, with everything we needed for a city break. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was also very good, with a nice choice and a lovely rooftop setting. We stayed in February, so it was a little chilly up there, but it was still a nice way to start the day. There was very little we didn’t like. The surrounding area is very central and lively, so it can feel a little rough around the edges in places, especially around the market, but that is also part of the character of staying in that part of Athens.

Odalar çok temizdi ve her gün çok özenli şekilde odam temizlendi. Kahvaltı zaten çok güzeldi, açık büfeye ek olarak kendilerine özel menüleri mevcuttu. Konumu Monastıraki meydanına çok yakın her yeri rahat rahat gezebildim. Birdaha gelirsem mutlaka burada konaklayacağım. Normalde seçiciyimdir ama beğenmediğim bir nokta olmadı :)

• Ms F (8/5): Good value for money option with good in room facilities. - Well located close to the market but easy walking distance to the tourist areas. At night this area has a lot of shuttered graffiti covered properties but it felt safe. The reception is 24/7 which is good. Everything was very clean and supplies in the room are well considered. There is a steep step to the front door and then a flight of stairs to reception. On Saturday night live music was very loud in the room. In room 104 there is no external window only a window to a shaft.

Confortable, avec toutes les options qui y contribuent (peignoir, chaussons, articles de toilette, cafetière, bouilloire...). Très bon petit déjeuner. Un seul serveur pour le petit déjeuner le dimanche, ne peut pas s'occuper de tout le monde vue l'affluence. Du coup, je n'ai pas eu accès aux options (Oeufs aux bacon, omelette grecque...).

• NATHALIE (8/5): Super hôtel pour visiter la ville à pieds car proche de tout. Restaurant et magasins proches. Accueil top. - L’emplacement pour visiter la ville à pieds. Chambre 302 : Chambre spacieuse, décorée avec goût. Lit confortable. Bouilloire, cafetière à disposition, eau fraîche au frigo. Climatisation. Le petit-déjeuner se prend sur le toit terrasse, et plusieurs options sont proposées en complément du buffet. Hôtel très calme, pas de bruit de couloir. Les fenêtres fermées ne permettent pas d’être au calme. Il y avait des travaux dans la rue dès 5h30 du matin… La salle de bain / wc un peu étroite.

Nothing fancy, but good value The front door! It's nice to look at, but really heavy, especially while you're trying to manoeuvre your suitcase, in and out of it. You can ask for help by pressing the doorbell, though

I really appreciated the nespresso capsules and water bottles free of charge in the room. Unfortunately, there was a road construction site, and it was very noisy and loud from early morning. It would have been great to have a better acoustic insulation of the window.

Panowie na recepcji zawsze uśmiechnięci, życzliwi, chętni pomóc. Pani serwująca śniadania na ciepło - podobnie. Pokoje czyste, wyposażone we wszystko co niezbędne, dodatkowo w czajnik i ekspres do kawy. Śniadania bardzo smaczne (wielki plus za możliwe opcje wyboru na ciepło z karty). Lokalizacja: rewelacyjna. Do wszystkich atrakcji historycznych i turystycznych blisko, spacerkiem do kilkunastu minut. W pobliżu restauracje, bary, sklepy oraz targ . Bardzo serdecznie polecam hotel. The breakfast buffet had very limited options. You could order hot options, but it took forever for someone to take your order and for the food to be served.

In bis 30 Minuten sind alle wichtige Punkte zu Fuß erreichbar. Die ersten Restaurant sind in einer Minute erreichbar. Kurz gesagt, wer kein zu großen Ansprüche hat, findet hier ein faires Preisleistungsverhältnis.

• Delphine (8/5): Un assez bon choix pour Athènes avec un très bon petit-déjeuner et un bon accueil - Ce petit hôtel est très bien placé près de Monastiraki, à moins de 10 minutes de marche de l'Agora. Le prix est tout à fait correct avec le petit-déjeuner inclus. Le gérant est parfaitement accueillant, et le petit-déjeuner est très bien, Servi en buffet sur le rooftop, avec des options à choisir très appréciables tel que des œufs très bien cuisinés, ou bien un jus d'orange frais délicieux. Par contre j'avais choisi la petite chambre pour une personne et même si je m'attendais à ne pas avoir d'ouverture sur la rue ou sur une véritable cour, la petitesse de l'espace et surtout le manque de lumière absolu m'a un petit peu frappée négativement car on se sent enfermé avec la nécessité en plus de recourir à un parfumeur d'ambiance peu subtil. La douche fuyait mais cela ne m'a pas dérangée outre mesure. À part cela la chambre est bien agencée, il y a même une machine Nespresso avec 4 capsules, ce qui est largement pour une nuit. Bien évidemment je ne peux que regretter que la fenêtre ne donne que sur une espèce de conduit d'aération sordide et sombre, ce qui crée une impression d'étouffement dans la chambre.

• Martina (8/5): Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis in guter Lage - Das Zimmer, die Lage, das Frühstück hat alles super gepasst. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Fenster ging in einen Schacht und das Zimmer hatte deshalb kein Tageslicht. Trotzdem war das Raumklima gut.

• Anja (10/5): Une nuit reposante, à refaire - La gentillesse du monsieur à la réception, le confort du lit, la douche chaude ainsi que les petites attentions comme les peignoirs et la machine à café dans la chambre. Ascenseur pour aller à l'étage. Petit déjeuner incroyable vraiment pas mal Un peu de bruit et pas très bien isolé mais avec des boules quies c'est bon.
