• Naziha (6/5): Nice hotel, but more a 3 or 4 star class. - - Breakfast - location is great - spa with massage - comfortable bed, i slept well. - early checkout breakfast possibilities. Gluten intolerant couldnt really be accomodated. - At arrival 2 bananas and 2 mandarins in the room, no replenisment during the stay. At checkin it was mentioned every day fresh fruit. - there was a fat big fly in the room, requested cleaning of the room and catching the fly. After returning to the room, no cleaning was done and the fly was still there. - they give cups for the coffeemachine but no milk. - at the coffeemachine there are oreo's, first impression: nice this fits a 5 star hotel. But the oreo's are with payment. Eventhough it's still cheap, but advertising yourself as a 5 star hotel and suplementary coffee sweets are not free make it a bit cheap and not 5 star-worthy. - in the bathroom the small light chandelier needed a bit of dusting and the chandelier missed a piece, which made it look cheap. - most important: the light in the room is only soft light. An optional bright TL light would be helpfull while packing or when putting on makeup. It's toooo dark. - the bathroom missed a hook ( at the door) to hang your clothes or towels, this made showering a bit inconvenient.

The facilities are well thought out for the visitor's stay such as being able to take a shower before heading to the airport even after you have checked out for the day. The staffs also remembers the visitor's preferences, making it feel more personal. Oh and definitely ask Nam for recommendations to go and do in Hanoi, he gives the best Google maps lists on them!

Staff were amazing, welcoming and helpful. The room was perfect and clean, reasonably priced for something so close to the Old Quarter. The staff in the rooftop bar were a standout, especially Jack Sparrow :)
• Beahen (10/5): A unique and experience. - There are hotels aplenty in Ha Noi. They come in all shapes, sizes and colours and it is all too easy to pick one that is exactly like every other hotel in any city across the World. Standardised furnishings, a large flat screen tv opposite the "king size" bed, one or two gesture paintings on the wall, a view of city streets from a window that doesn't open much and needs cleaning. We have all been there. So to find somewhere as unique as the hotel "La Sinfonia del Rey" is a breath of fresh air. Set beside Hoan Kiem lake in central Ha Noi, it has a unique charm evident from the moment you walk in. Eschewing bland conformity, the very comfortable rooms are fascinating with their individual, colonial style furniture. Juliet balconies open to the lake, hotel staircases are curling delights with their wrought iron banisters and the lifts exude old world charm. The restaurant on the top floor has wonderful views across the "Old Quarter's" rooftops as you enjoy very good food to suit all tastes. When you walk out, Vietnamese culture is happening right before your eyes around the lake. Tai Chi groups, games of "Da Cau" (kick shuttlecock), a street market, ancient temples, families of all ages out for a nightime stroll together. The Old Quarter is only a short walk away from here. Ideal. However, the one thing that really made our stay was the staff. Hospitality in Vietnam always revolves around the guest, but all the staff at "La Sinfonia" were superb. Unfailingly polite, always highly attentive to your every need or query, they were welcoming from the moment we arrived to the moment they waved us goodbye. For them, nothing was too much trouble where a guest was concerned. They truly made our stay a real pleasure. So if you are tired of corporate blandness, if you want to experience something more, then we cannot recommend "La Sinfonia" enough to those seeking character and service from their next hotel. Try them and see.

I found the hotel met all my needs being great value, with helpful friendly staff and a great room and breakfast. The room was quiet, clean and had a nice boutique feel. The staff went out of their way to help and interact and I was able to use a shower room after checking out to freshen up before leaving. The sunset bar offers great views of the city and lake and was a highlight.

You are right in the center of everything, while also tucked away on a quiet corner and being directly across from the lake is truly magical. The service was some of the best we've ever experienced.
• P1954EBderekd (10/5): Great, comfortable stay.. - Great boutique hotel located in the heart of the old quarter across the road from Hoan Kiem Lake (the green lake). The location is hard to beat and due to staying over a holiday period the streets around the lake were pedestrianised and packed with locals enjoying the busy atmosphere around the lake. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with additional cooked items available on a separate menu to the buffet. The highlight of our morning was the great chats with Nguyen, such a lovely friendly, caring girl. She gave great recommendations and we had some fun every day! The rooftop bar is excellent, but it can get busy so you may need to book in advance. The SPA was excellent, and we had great massages on our last full day. From the time we arrived, to the time we left the staff we encountered were all superb, friendly and helpful. A great choice for Hanoi!

The sunset bar has great views of the lake and city while enjoying a cocktail. I booked a room again when I return to Hanoi.

Herausragend und hervorzuheben sind die immer sehr freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern. Das gesamte Hotel leistet einen perfekten Service. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und stilvoll. Das Restaurant bietet sehr gute Speisen zu wirklich moderaten und passenden Preisen an. Die Auswahl ist groß. Ob beim Frühstück, Lunch oder Dinner wird man auf hohem Niveau sehr gut bedient. Die Rooftop-Bar ist der perfekte Ort, um den Abend bei Musik gemütlich ausklingen zu lassen. Das im Haus befindliche Spa wird ebenfalls sehr professionell geführt. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection, and the dining staff were great. The room was very small. Didn't have anywhere to comfortabley open your luggage. I was expecting a large room, considering I didn't just book a standard room. The bed was just two single beds push together rather than a true double bed. If they had a slightly smaller double bed, it'd have more room. The mattress on one side was lumpy and not comfortable. Staff did put an extra topper on it, which made it better.

• John (10/5): An exceptional hotel - The location is perfect within walking distance of all the main areas. The staff were exceptional. They greeted us with cool drinks and every member of staff was courteous and eager to please. Our room was very comfortable indeed. And the breakfasts are more than exceptional. In addition to a full buffet you also have an à la carte menu. All is included so you can choose whatever you wish and all is included. Honestly and exceptional place to stay. Absolutely nothing. The trivial “blip” is that the WiFi is not super fast. But it is certainly adequate for all WhatsApp calls etc.

• Violaine (9/5): L’endroit rêvé pour se ressourcer après avoir visité Hanoï :) - Un havre de paix où se reposer après une journée dans cette ville trépidante, le confort de la literie, l’extrême gentillesse du personnel, la localisation près du lac et le fait que les alentours soient piétons le week-end, le rooftop où se détendre tout en appréciant la vue et les cocktails.. Rien de particulier.
• Maria Ángeles (8/5): Estancia maravillosa - La ubicación es perfecta, el trato del personal inmejorable, nos aconsejaron en todo momento sobre donde cambiar dinero, lugares de interés y sitios para comer. El desayuno de 10. Lo único que no me gustó fue la bañera de la habitación deluxe. No era cómodo ya que estaba muy alta y se nos salía el agua. Tuve la ocasión de estar en la habitación interior donde había ducha, y era mucho mejor.
• Maria Ángeles (8/5): Volveré! - En la habitación interior descansé súper bien pese a estar en un sitio muy céntrico y con ruido. El desayuno inmejorable y el servicio perfecto. Muy contenta con este hotel. Un poco caro para lo que cuesta un hotel en Hanoi.

We could not be more happy staying here during our first visit to Hanoi and would 100% stay here again when we return. The concierge was extremely proactive and helpful arranging transportation and reservations for us. Truly some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Thank you for everything! Everything was outstanding! Thank you for the warm hospitality and amazing service!

El personal super amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo, la habitación y la cama muy amplia y muy cómoda. El desayuno excepcional En resumen, un gran hotel en el que hospedarse en Hanoi

• marcella (8/5): Très bon rapport qualité-prix. - Un édifice du début du 20e siècle rénové avec beaucoup de cachet, un hôtel à taille humaine, une ambiance agréable dans un quartier très central. Lit très confortable. Il serait utile d'ajouter des étagères dans la salle de bain.

• Sean (8/5): Don’t stay here on the weekend if you’d like to sleep. - Beautiful hotel in a great location. It was very noisy. On the weekends they close the streets for a night market and there was basically a live bank right outside. We don’t sleep at all.
