Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good place near to the city center and shopping is near
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We received no communication from the owner/property manager until after we had landed in Dublin. Then we were told that Seville Self-Catering was not available and that we would be relocated to "Dublin Central Studios." The new apartment was sparse, none of the amenities were the same as the photos on the Expedia website, there were not plugs for the sinks, no soap in the bathroom, TV didn't work, etc. The first day we were there, the heating and hot water system were broken, but we contacted the customer service email and it was repaired the next day. Overall, the experience was far from ideal.
- Josip (4/5): Shower bath - The apartment is three station from Conolly station, train is close to the apartment. The major problem was cloggging siphon in shower bath, so the water in a shower bath stay for an hour after each shower, so you can imagine how long it takes when is four members of family. And you can imagine how it looks after 3 days, we stayed for six nights. We contact customer service, and they said that is problem in owner and they have a same problem in all building, so they can not fix it. For that period they leave just two role of toilet papers, after text a message they bring another two. It was not clean well. Position is good compared with other parts of Dublin. The wifi is good, just you tube on tv. On the pictures was twin bed, and we get separate beds.
- Polly (8/5): Seville Place - It was a really nice flat. Unfortunately we were told by multiple people the area was unsafe and not to go out alone at night so due to that, so we did feel on edge a bit. There were a few men who constantly hung around outside the bottom door who shouted things at us which was quite annoying.
The place itself is really nicely furnished, has everything you need to get by. Very close to a Spar, in walking distance from other shops and aircoaches, trains, trams etc. We were quite a ride away from clubs, bars and the general touristy parts but we downloaded an app
Only a few mishaps: It wasn't stated that we could see, that the flat is right next to a train station. This was quite loud throughout the evening/night. One of the blinds in the living room was broken so it was difficult to sleep as the train station lights were quite bright, also we didn't like the fact people could potentially see in from the platform as its a clear view.
The door into the flat itself (flat 5) was ridiculously stiff - to the point we struggled to get in and out at some points.
- Conference (2/5): - Would not recommend. Booked this unit for 12-night stay and had multiple issues from both the unit itself and management. Detailed issues are highlighted below.
Unit Issues:
Insufficient supplies (including toilet paper, detergent, shampoo, soap, pillows)
Poor cleaning (especially floors)
Outer door did not lock consistently
Loud train behind unit
Management Issues:
Difficulty checking in (required Expedia to intervene)
Management checked us out 2 days early without notifying us (cleaning staff showed up expecting empty unit). After contacting management, we were told to move to another unit for an unspecified reason. They sent us to another apartment where were given check-in instructions that were incorrect. After waiting 2 hours outside in the rain, they discovered they had sent us to the wrong unit, which was already occupied. We then moved to a third unit for the remainder of our stay. Despite the significant upgrade in this unit, the check-in issues were unacceptable.
