The Room was not done the following day. I had a full schedule of work in London and they offered to change room the following day, I had no time for that. I felt truly humiliated that an Hotel might think a person should stay in such a room

Purtroppo la mia stanza era "dietro" l'ascensore, quindi sentivo rumori ogni volta che veniva usato. Inoltre era un po' piccola, ma me l'aspettavo perché avevo già letto delle recensioni al riguardo.

• Roland (7/5): Ein Hotel in bester Lage. - Die Lage ist besonders gut, ca. 5 Minuten zur nächsten U-Bahn Station Bayswater. Geschäfte, Restaurants, Bars und Parks sind fußläufig. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Zuerst bekamen wir ein Zimmer im Keller, diese Zimmer sind nicht empfehlenswert, da es kein wirkliches Fenster gibt. Das zuvorkommende Personal hat uns ein Zimmer im 4. Stock möglich gemacht, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren.

• Kai (4/5): Nie wieder - Positiv gibt es eigentlich nicht viel zu sagen, es war ruhig und ich konnte gut schlafen. Lage ist ok. Ich hatte ein Deluxe Einzelzimmer gebucht. Im Laufe der Jahre habe ich schon in einigen Hotels übernachtet, dieses war mit Abstand das kleinste Zimmer was ich je hatte. Bewegen kaum möglich, jedenfalls mit meiner Statue. Koffer auspacken ebenfalls kaum möglich, aber auch unausgepackt schränkt der Koffer den Raum noch mehr ein. Schrank ohne Fächer, damit erübrigte sich das Auspacken von vielen Sachen eh. Badezimmer total veraltet, nicht mal eine Mischbatterie gibt es. Das Waschbecken ist so klein das man selbst mein Zähneputzen das Bad unter Wasser setzt. Der Zugang zur Dusche war für mich nicht möglich da zu schmal. Aussicht: Fehlanzeige, das kleine Fenster bestand aus Milchglas. Bei meiner Bekannten war das Fenster klar und sie hatte einen tollen Ausblick auf einen 1x1 Meter großen Schacht.^^ London ist teuer, ohne Frage, aber 140 Euro die Nacht für so ein Zimmer ist einfach nur Abzocke!

• Karin (9/5): Ich komme immer wieder gern hierher, da das Personal sehr nett ist und die Lage für mich optimal. - Das Hotel ist über mehrere öffentiche Verkehrsmittel schnell zu erreichen und umliegend sind viele Geschäfte und Restaurants. Die Heizung ist ein kleines Mysterium, wer gerne kühl schläft sollte mit der Rezeption klären wie diese ausgeschalten werden kann.

Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sehr gemütlich. Kaffee und Tee kann man sich im Zimmer zubereiten, es gab immer Kekse und stilles Wasser wurde ständig zur Verfügung gestellt. Gab nichts.

Restaurants and shops were up on a main roads, Westbourne Grove and Bayswater Road. I did my own laundry around the corner at central wash on Moscow Road. I like that the front desk is staffed and they were very friendly. Really appreciated the staff. They knew who was coming and going and again very nice. I felt safe around the neighborhood. I loved the kettle and well supplied tea/coffee. The value is great. Also loved the TV right at the foot of the bed, mounted and that I had many channels. Room was tiny and bed skinnier than US twin, but theses were not problems! I knew beforehand. I liked the coziness of room.

• Veronika (8/5): Comfortable stay in a lovely quiet area - We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, away from the busy tourist areas, in a quiet and pleasant neighborhood with lovely cafes nearby. We especially enjoyed walking through Hyde Park. We requested a double bed and found it very comfortable. The room was on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The room was located in the basement, so it was quite dark, but since we didn’t spend much time there, it wasn’t a big issue for us. The fridge also didn’t work, though we could manage without it. The hotel itself felt a little worn out in places, but everything was very clean, which we appreciated.

Nous avons dormi la fenêtre entre ouverte (au 4ème étage) car la rue devant l'hôtel est très calme et face à un joli parc. Personnel à l'écoute et réactif. A proximité (10 mn) de nombreux commerces et restaurants ainsi que 3 lignes de métro et le bus desservent le centre de Londres en 15/20mn. Et surtout Hyde Parc à 300m : de très belles promenades en soirée (Très beau temps pendant notre séjour en avril) RAS

• Frank (8/5): Great Location and good value - Great location for travelling in London, near tube station. Tea, water and biscuits provided free in room plus kettle. Air con in room was good. Breakfast was good. V friendly and efficient staff. Bathroom is v small and shower cubicle cramped but that is to be expected in central London so not a big problem.
• R&DS (8/5): Clean and Comfortable - Good location in Kensington area about a 5 min walk from both Bayswater and Queensway underground stations. My room was clean and the bed was comfy. Yes, the room was smaller than in North American hotels and yes, the bathroom is cramped, but this is London and quite frankly, the room wasn't as cramped as I expected it to be. I found the hotel in general to be quiet (it's a couple of blocks off the main streets) and my room (top floor and facing the back of the hotel) was very quiet. Breakfast had a reasonable selection of both hot and cold foods and the hot foods were kept hot and the cold foods were cold. I stayed 15 nights and I found the breakfast offered enough selection that I was able to switch it up a wee bit every day. Every staff member I interacted with was topnotch: friendly, professional and helpful. No complaints.
