- A936DQchristines (10/5): Unexpected kindness in a moment of turmoil - This hotel has been fantastic for several reasons, but mainly I wanna highlight the staff. Dominiica at the front desk plus Cheryl, Ellis and Ferris at the bistro, Rangel was amazing helping with a handicap accessible showe bench. Hannah at the front desk. Just so many people who are attentive and caring and make this place a GEM! Supportive staff is what makes a place like this stand out from it competitors. The rooms are huge, clean well maintained. Two queen bed plus sofa bed couch great for family. The Bistro has killer food and drinks. Add to the location being central to downtown Orlando moments away from everything. You won’t be disappointed!

Devin at the front desk gave me a recommendation of a new place to try in Winter Park called Superica. He said the fajitas and tres leche cake were so good. I had to check it out for myself. He was not kidding. That young man knows his food. He's so kind at the front desk makes checking in such a breeze for us.

- alinoyb (10/5): Above and beyond expectations - We found ourselves in a complex situation where we had to stay near the hospital for two weeks due to our young son’s hospitalization, far from our home. We were deeply amazed by how sensitive and attentive the hotel staff were to our needs throughout this time. The restaurant consistently provided service above and beyond expectations, with dishes specially adapted for our young children. Dear Maria went the extra mile for us and took care of every detail. The front desk staff also assisted us with anything we needed, and we would especially like to mention Veron, Shea, Debra, Emily, and Rose. The wonderful pool was clean and inviting, the gym was well-maintained, exceptional housekeeping service and the hotel even offers complimentary laundry services and a microwave, which helped us greatly under the circumstances. In short, this warm and family-friendly place truly became a home for us during an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful. We highly recommend this hotel!
- Olga (10/5): A cozy downtown gem with a delicious cafe and great service - The location is perfect for anyone needing to be downtown, with plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. We loved the lobby cafe! The breakfast there was delicious. It's not included but we actually preferred paying for it since standard hotel breakfasts usually don't have much we can eat. The room was spacious and very clean, with a huge bathroom, modern shower, and great mirror lighting. It’s not a massive hotel, so it feels very cozy and welcoming. It even has a small pool and a patio area, which are great extras for a downtown hotel. The staff was friendly.

From the moment we walked in we knew we chose the right spot for a 3 night stay in Orlando. First and foremost every member of the staff was welcoming and hospitable. Devin and Dominique at the front desk were personable and helpful, in addition to Fior and Yamii at the bistro! Marcella and her colleagues who took care of the room were also professional and friendly. The rooms were updated, clean, and very quiet. I never heard anyone when in the room. Food at the restaurant was good and served quick! Overall, the service at the hotel was equivalent if not better than high end hotel / resorts I've stayed at. We look forward to returning and would highly recommend.

- julid365 (10/5): An Excellent Wedding Weekend - As the dust is settling on a perfect wedding weekend (March 27-30, 2026) for my daughter and now son in law, I wanted to take a moment to share my positive feedback regarding our wedding block and our welcome dinner both hosted at the Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Downtown. We worked with Ms. Shawn George to plan both. She was professional, responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and calming with all of our questions, adjustments, and just-in-time needs during our planning stage as well as during our stay. We couldn't be happier. Weddings can be very stressful times. Shawn and all of the staff we encountered at the Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Downtown provided everything we could have asked for to ease our worries and allow us to enjoy family and friends. They even stored and handed out our 48 welcome bags to guests as they checked into the hotel. The welcome dinner was well attended with approximately 70 guests. The space was arranged beautifully (We used the Magnolia Room), the food was excellent, the technology worked flawlessly once we figured out the set up, and the staff was phenomenal as they were required to navigate a very full space. The food at the bistro was also quite good and we all felt taken care of so well. Family and friends enjoyed the lobby area as we were able to visit in a relaxed and clean atmosphere throughout the weekend. Everyone in the hotel seemed to pitch in to make sure we had an excellent experience. I even witnessed Shawn waiting tables at one point, ensuring that all was smooth. There are so many to thank in addition to Shawn. I worry that I will leave someone out, but I want to mention Debra, Rose, Devin, Veron, Emily, Maria, Rose, Sou, Angelo, and Rangel as contributors to our perfect weekend. I wholeheartedly recommend the Courtyard Orlando Downtown as a venue for a wedding block for anyone wanting a stress-free, enjoyable stay.

The bartenders, Ellis and Fior, are amazing. They are attentive and professional and make my night! I could go to any restaurant in Orlando but choose to stay here to share my evening with them because they are great!! The front desk was also amazing with Devin and Rae! They are attentive, professional and always make me feel welcome but also special. And, of course, Dominique. I can't say enough about her special ability to make all feel amazing and welcome. She is a special soul and you are so lucky to have her at this location!

We went down to the bistro and decided not to go out to dinner but to enjoy not having to drive anymore. We had a flatbread pizza and a Caesar salad salad and both were delicious, particularly the salad. Ellis and Fior were incredibly welcoming, and the service was spot on. We ended up having a very enjoyable evening just sitting there in a great setting. By far the best Marriott courtyard I have ever stayed with.

The one-bedroom suite is very spacious, clean with necessities such as coffee bar stocked with Keurig pods. The king size bed is very comfortable. At night there is a seating area with a fire pit that is lit up next to the pool. Overall, our experience has been pleasant and very relaxing.

Our experiences have run the gamut and I just wanted to say that this hotel (refurbished) was in the top 10. The people were very nice, particularly Rae at the front desk who checked us in and out. The redo, whenever that was, was actually successful in that it was clean and bright and comfortable. Would highly recommend. It’s a little loud at night, but you are in DTO, so it is what it is.

The bistro menu items are consistently good. Our bartender, Fior, is super nice and friendly. She even remembered me from being there months ago. I recommend staying at this Courtyard. I also recommend the Bistro and bar for guests and locals alike.
