Rang hotel for shuttle from airport after a 10hr flight waited best part of an hour no bus. Had to go back into airport again to ring Hotel eventuallycame!! Got to Hotel at 9:40pm asked if restaurant was still open she said yes, she would let them know we were coming in for food. Went to put out bags quickly in room ,key fob wouldn't work had to return to reception again !!she said because we were at the wrong door !!!!! My husband showed her we were at the door she had written on our doorpass.!!!!! Which she then realised that was already a n occupied room The mind boggles! Got to restaurant at 9:50 bar tend er said restaurant was closed. We explained reception said she would inform them we were coming.... we were not expected a full meal as we understood the were serving until 10:00 a sandwich would suffice. He said chef was cleaning the fryers!! Had to go to bed very hungry. So sadly wasn't a good experience for us. Our intention was to book it on our return journey,night before back to Ireland but unfortunately experience wouldn't allow us.

I have stayed at many different Embassy suites but there was no recognition of the diamond Hilton status and the check-in I was not recognized at all as a diamond member. Breakfast was good and the meat to order eggs excellent, that was the only positive thing in mystay. When checking out the front desk, lady was very rude and said to me: you did not pay! Your card declined and you’re trying to get away without paying…. I felt a very embarrassed since I was going to the front desk to physically check out if I would’ve tried to not pay and leave I would’ve sneaked away without going to the front desk. Not sure if I ever will stay here again since they approached me this rude at the checkout. Also, I would’ve expected some more respect, especially as a Hilton diamond member.

• 879beths (10/5): Wonderful front desk staff - We were there for two separate nights. December 26, the property was full and the staff managed to get our two rooms near each other. They were friendly and permitted us to leave our luggage in storage while we wandered the local area. The room was clean and quiet. They offer shuttle service to and from the airport which is about 10 minutes away. The morning breakfast was a wonderful buffet that included made to order omelets. From here we Uber'd to Disney World which was about 30 minutes away (no commute on the 27th). Following our Disney World experience, we returned to this hotel prior to flying out 1/5. We had the same wonderful service and rooms.

We were starving and would have eaten almost anything. Seeing the prices was kind of a step back but then we thought a good dinner would be worth paying a little extra for. We ordered a few entrees a side and a salad.My salad came with rotten, wilted, slimy raddicio on top. I pointed it out to the manager.He took the plate away and came back a few minutes later indicating they made a new one. It still had some remains of the slimy raddicio. I told him this was dangerous and could cause food poisoning.He said it must have "fallen" onto the new salad (total contamination and negligence in cleanliness in the back!)He took it away. My son had asparagus. They brought out raw asparagus (not undercooked, completely raw with the ends still on.One had the end cut and they threw the discarded piece onto the plate. Decor? Some had the tops cut off. I don't think it is safe to eat asparagus raw. The fish tacos I ordered were supposed to come with lime and avacado. They had neither and were totally overcooked,tasted more like chicken and had the consistency of chicken. The dessert (not sure why we decided to brave dessert but you know, kids!) came with a rotten strawberry. When I pointed it out to the waitress she acted very surprised and said it was the one thing that was fresh from the same day. I am not sure how old the other food was. The staff behaved strangely when confronted. They removed most of the rotten items from the bill but it seemed this was a regular occurrence for them.Their explanations sounded like negligence in food safety and handling rather than a true mistake and exception to the normal.I would be very concerned about the hygiene in this restaurant. The staff at the front desk were cheerful and helpful. The housekeeping dept. was great and brought extra towels and blankets. The rooms are a bit dated but they are clean. The building is older but again fairly well maintained. There was plenty of hot water. The shower has a few settings. The room had good blackout curtains, an air purifier and was quiet, perfect for sleep
• Taurusgrl76 (8/5): Great pre cruise family stay - I was worried about staying here based on other reviews, but we had a great experience. We arrived around 1:00 on a Saturday and the hotel shuttle was quick and convenient. The front desk staff were amazing and our rooms were ready right away. We spent a few hours by the pool, which was chilly, but that didn’t stop my daughter and the hot tub was a bonus. We ordered pizza delivered since the restaurant didn’t open until 4:40. Happy hour was great and we ordered dinner from the restaurant to go. The staff in the restaurant were also great and the food was really good. Appreciated the small business center for printing and a great breakfast before check out was a perfect start to vacation. Lots of other guests there were pre and post cruise. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We were allowed to check in early, which worked well with out family and it was a great outcome since I called several times and was never given any helpful information on the process of early check in. Staff was not friendly. I attempted to contact the Hotel several times to get information on early check in. The person that answered was short and unfriendly. Breakfast buffet was not open like we are usually experience with Hilton Hotels. Staff created lines by handing out Breakfast items instead of allowing guest to serve themselves like it usually the case. Due to this guest missed out on Breakfast time while they waited in line for eggs, bacon and sausages and even waffles (staff member handle that too). Best part was the omelet station, the guy was very efficient and friendly.

• csmith_612 (2/5): Stay Anywhere Else - I have stayed at Hilton properties seven different times over the last seven months and, including this hotel, three Embassy Suites (the others included Durham/Raleigh airport and Washington D.C.). I booked at this Embassy Suites property based on my experience at other Embassy Suites properties, and wanted a little more upscale breakfast than other Hilton hotels in the area since it was a day we were setting sail on a cruise. However, this Embassy Suites wasn’t even on par with the lower level Hilton properties. I could never recommend staying at this property. It appears to be an older property and is used by the Disney Cruise lines as one of their “premier” hotel offerings. As a result we felt like they have a captive clientele, and service is not on par with any Hilton or other brand property I have ever stayed at in over 25 years at staying hotels for both business or personal reasons. If you don’t have to stay here, then stay anywhere else. There are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from. They had one chef making omelets at their cook to order station. The line during our entire time at breakfast stretched over 15 people deep at all times. The other Embassy Suites hotels always had two chefs. Next the buffet for previously made eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, and potatoes (if they had any) was not self-serve. They had one employee dishing out the plates that the customer took from a stack and gave her. That resulted in patrons waiting as she served eggs to several people and then you moved down the line. From my perspective they were trying to limit the amount of food each person served themselves from the dishes, either way, the hotel should have had at least two severs dishing out the items to those in line as it took forever to go through the buffet. Then if you wanted to make yourself a waffle, the waffle maker wasn’t working properly. No matter how the patron sprayed the nonstick substance on the waffle iron, the waffle stuck and became a mess trying to pry it out of the waffle maker. Also, if you are a Disney Cruise customer who has to stay at the hotel, walk around the long line that stretches into the middle of the dining hall if you don’t want the made to order egg dish to wait in the short buffet line. When I told multiple patrons with kids what line they were standing in and that they could go into the shorter buffet line they both thanked me. Next, the hotel has only two elevators for the entire hotel, at least five floors. It took forever to get up or down from your room with no interior staircase that would allow you to walk downstairs or upstairs to your room. At one point a staff member ushered us through to the freight elevator to get upstairs. When we tried to use it to leave the property, it never came and we went out and waited for the main elevator. Finally, we found out when we left that the person who checked us in the night before did something to cancel our reservation. They couldn’t print out our receipt when we left. I only found out by looking in my Hilton Honors account. They rectified the situation after we left and emailed the receipt to me, but it made for some tense moments when the front desk person was trying to tell me that we were being charged over $300 a night, we had a ride share waiting for us out back (they are not allowed to pick you up out front) and we had to leave the hotel without a receipt or having the situation rectified. All in all, do yourself a favor and stay at another hotel. There are a ton of them in the area.
