The location is perfect if you want to enjoy Amsterdam without being in the middle of the city chaos, while still being just 10–15 minutes away from all the central spots. What truly made the experience special was the warm and welcoming staff. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. The food and drinks were also spot on throughout our stay. Overall, it was a solid 10/10 experience, and I would strongly recommend The July Boat & Co. to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-connected stay in Amsterdam.

• Polina (9/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at The July hotel in Amsterdam. The atmosphere was cozy, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice — roomy, convenient, and beautifully designed. We also really liked the overall design of the hotel, especially the ceramic tiles, which added a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept peacefully and well. The area around the hotel is very cool and relaxing, with canals and a lovely waterfront promenade nearby. It is a pleasant place to walk around and unwind. The hotel is located a little far from the city center, so I would recommend taking a bus or a taxi to get there — it helps save energy for exploring Amsterdam on foot. The gym was a pleasant surprise too: the equipment was thoughtfully selected, and it had everything needed for a good workout. The spa was also nice — a great place to visit in the evening after long walks around Amsterdam. The restaurant was generally okay, although the seafood pasta did not seem very fresh. That said, it still tasted quite good. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to come back again.

• Valerie (10/5): Un séjour d’exception grâce au professionnalisme des équipes du July Boat & Co - Nous avons beaucoup aimé le July Boat & Co et le recommandons vivement. Tout était parfait : -le professionnalisme et la gentillesse de l’ensemble des équipes -le design du lounge / restaurant, de la chambre (immense avec un coin salon et cuisine). -la qualité de la nourriture proposée (les viandes sont excellentes). -l’emplacement : => au calme tout en étant à 7 mins à pied d’une station de bus qui vous amène en 15 mins à Central Station. Si vous aimez la marche, Central station est à 30 mins à pied. L’hôtel met également à disposition des vélos : très sympa de pouvoir se déplacer à la mode des locaux ! => idéalement placé pour pouvoir visiter en voiture les villages au Nord d’Amsterdam (Marken, Edam) ou encore à l’ouest Haarlem ou le parc de Keukenhoff (+ de 30 hectares arborés de nombreuses variétés de tulipes).

We were fortunate with the weather, and wanted to sightsee, but this was a great space to spend time in. Great book selection provided. Roomy, private bathroom. Um....can't think of anything. Our schedule meant we didnt use the restaurant, although it looked pleasant. Would have liked to stay longer.

The kitchen was better equipped than most of the apartments we looked at, the room was really well planned and fitted, with separate areas for eating, sitting and sleeping, cleverly divided up by the furniture. The fittings were really well chosen and looked brand new. Having access to the steam room/sauna was an added bonus. It was just a shame that the sauna wasn't working for part of our visit. • AT (10/5): Amazing and beautiful room! Car parking and electric charging point is bonus! - Availability of car park and electric charging point ( flat charge of €8 per charge). Very well equipped kitchen and the view from the room if you are at the top floor, is simply amazing! Stunning room and living area. Free bicycle rental is great but there’s no kids bike just to note! Has to pay for washing machine in laundry room.

• Olena (9/5): - Everything about this place was excellent. The location is perfect — close to the water, with great transport connections, shops, and cafés nearby, yet away from the busy and chaotic city center. It takes only about 20 minutes by bus to reach major train and bus stations, or around 30 minutes on foot, which is very convenient. There are also public transport boats departing from right by the building to the opposite shore. The apartment itself was wonderful: very comfortable beds and pillows, amazing duvets, and a spacious bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. We would also like to highlight the interior design — it’s absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully done. Everything was just perfect.

• Christian (10/5): Sehr angenehmer, ruhiger Aufenthalt mit top Service, außergewöhnlich schönen Zimmern und hervorragendem Essen – kleine o - Der Ablauf beim Check-in und Check-out war unkompliziert und sehr gut organisiert. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Lage ist ideal, etwas abseits vom Mainstream, wodurch es angenehm ruhig ist – perfekt nach langen Stadtwanderungen. Wir waren über Ostern dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer und der Einrichtungsstil waren außergewöhnlich schön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Essen im Restaurant sowie das Frühstück waren vorzüglich. Die Vorabzahlung hat leider nicht funktioniert, was sehr ärgerlich war – es hat einige E-Mails gebraucht, bis alles abgewickelt war. Am Ende hat zwar alles geklappt, aber der Aufwand war unnötig. Außerdem war das glutenfreie Gebäck innen noch kalt (offensichtlich direkt aufgetaut), auch wenn es positiv ist, dass überhaupt eine Option angeboten wurde.
• Matt Feinstein (9/5): Will be back - Oh... I was very pleasantly surprised by this property in so many respects. While not centrally located, it is but a quick walk into the heart of Amsterdam... and not the overly touristy parts either. The Wellness offering - sauna and steamroom - was underwhelming. Especially at a property of this size, I would encourage them to make these more consistent with what is found in Scandinavian properties.

• Snogmidog (10/5): An all round great hotel close to Amsterdam city centre - Great place to stay - beautiful little studio with super comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Well equipped kitchenette. Great waterside view. Super friendly staff, great little restaurant downstairs (beer was super overpriced though!!). Easy access to city centre by taxi/uber. Free bikes too! (although a bit cold in March for retired couple to use them - had it been warmer though we would have done). Having parking on site was also a huge bonus. An all round great hotel. The price of the beer in the bar downstairs (13 Euro for 500cl - what?!) even right in the city centre good Belgian beers were only 6 Euro/6.50 Euro a bottle). Food was very good though and normal price. A smart TV would be good.

• Anne (10/5): - Loved our stay. Very helpful staff, beautiful property. Easy and fun to take the Ferry boats to Centrum. Quiet, off the beaten path and a perfect respite from the busyness of the downtown area. Lovely body wash and shampoos made in Amsterdam. Will return! Can't think of a thing.
• Judith (9/5): Voor herhaling vatbaar 😍 - Prachtig ingerichte studio. Alles voorhanden wat je nodig hebt. Doet heel huiselijk aan. Een heeerlijk bed! Heerlijke douche. Gewoon geweldig!! 1 klein minpuntje is dat wij een studio aan de binnenzijde hadden. Dat weet je niet van te voren natuurlijk. We keken uit op het restaurant gedeelte (binnen dus) en buiten tegenover appartementen waardoor je geen privacy hebt zonder de gordijnen dicht te doen en dat was jammer om in een donkere kamer te zijn. Uitzicht op het water geeft meer licht én meer privacy.

• Ceri (10/5): Fantastic stay! - The reception team was fantastic from start to finish! Late checkout no problem and was able to use the spa on the last day after my Reformer class with IMove - register with them, and you get an intro pass, but its a different location that's only less than 5mins walk away! Rooms were tranquil, clean, and cosy. Great night, sleep 😴 will definitely re-visit again here soon! N/A

• Alice (10/5): Tolle Location für ein paar Tage in Amsterdam - Tolle Ausstattung, sehr komfortabel, alles was man braucht. Lage direkt am Wasser und sehr ruhig. War zwar ca 3 km bis ins Zentrum, hat aber nicht gestört und man kann auch Fahrräder leihen, falls man nicht zu Fuss gehen mag. Frühstück mit 25 Euro nicht günstig, wenn man eher wenig frühstückt, wer die üppigen Eierspeisen mag, für den ist es ok. Und die Kaffeegetränke von der Bar sind deutlich besser als aus dem Automaten.

• Jack1953 (8/5): Superbe établissement mais manque de propreté - L'établissement est magnifique et bien placé pour visiter Amsterdam - Le petit déjeuner dans la grande salle d'accueil est trés bien et le concept appart-hotel nous convient ( Cuisine, salon, chambre et salle de bain ) Le prix des chambres est trés élevé et la taxe de séjour n'arrange rien - 1200 € pour 5 nuits plus 103 € de taxe de séjour Le plus décevant c'est que pour ce prix la nous n'avons eu qu'un seul ménage en 5 jours - Dans un hotel de ce prix on fait la chambre tous les jours. Nous avons écrit au manager qui nous a proposé une remise sur une nuit supplémentaire aprés notre départ..... Sans commentaires
