- Graham (8/5): Great hotel let down by small cramped bedrooms and limited breakfast choices. - Excellent location. Monorail station close to front entrance. Great views from our room. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We paid extra for a premier room and were upgraded to an executive room, for a further fee, to what was supposedly a much better room with a free mini bar. The room was actually no better or bigger than the standard room we had stayed in 2 weeks earlier. The only difference being a Nespresso machine and a small chaise longue in front of the window which actually made access to one of the twin beds a bit difficult! The minibar consisted of 2 small bottles of wine and 2 small cans of beer plus a few soft drinks. Breakfast was poor for this standard of hotel with limited choice. I complained about the room and received a refund for the extra payment.

- Michelle (9/5): Elegant hotel, with well sized hotel rooms, excellent concierge staff and lovely views of Tokyo Bay - Beautiful calm hotel with well sized rooms for Tokyo at a reasonable price. Very convenient for the Yurikamome line and visiting Team Lab planets. Fantastic view from the hotel, from our room we could see, Tokyo Bay, the rainbow bridge, Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Sky Tree. The Yurikamome line also offered great views and we enjoyed our trips on the line both day and night. This is great if you are travelling with children and want easy access to the malls of Odaiba. There is small and lovely park for running and jogging a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The conceirge staff were exceptionally professional and helpful and managed to help us get a booking at Ameizake Ameshin in Asakusa to learn the ancient craft of Japanese candy sculpting. The hotel is a bit far from some of the tourist hot spots in Tokyo but if you use a combination of public transport and Uber and want more space this hotel can be a great solution.

- Felix (9/5): - Second time staying at Grand Nikko and as grand and exceptional as I remember from before. Friendly and welcoming staff. Large room view seaside views of the bay and a stones throw away from the Daiba station with a popular convenience store pretty much attached to the hotel. Quite a few things to see and do in the Daiba area even if not heading into the city. Highly recommended if you're looking for a bit of peace and quite away from the hustle and bustle of the inner city Bear in mind it is approximately 25mins tram and metro to the city
