Rheal (6/5): Great location but disappointing stay. - Location and room size was great. High ceilings were beautiful. Bed was hard. Lobby was barren. Breakfast was okay. We paid a lot and didn’t get what we expected.
JOOYEON (10/5): 피렌체에 며칠 더 있고 싶어졌던 숙소 - 위치는 진짜 최고에요~ 기차역 바로 앞에 있고, 엔틱한 느낌의 인테리어 덕분에 유럽을 한껏 더 느꼈던거 같아요! 조식도 진짜 다양하고 맛있었어요, 조식 뷰를 사진에 담고 싶다면 아침 일찍 가세요~ 좀 여유롭게 가면 한국분들이 많이 창가에 앉아계시기도 하고, 햇빛이 역광이라 사진 안담겨요 ㅠㅠ 없어요

Jenny (7/5): - This place was pricey!! Next to train station so convenient. We did get drinks up at rooftop bar but they had no reservations available for dinner which was one of the reasons I booked. It was way too expensive for the very short sty as we had to keep at 4 am to fly out of Florence.
ISABELLE (9/5): Magnifique hôtel au charme désuet assumé, très confortable et bien situé - Grand chambre, très calme, lit très confortable, petit déjeuné premium : excellent et terrasse avec vues magnifiques sur Florence Exposition dans les couloirs retrace l histoire de l Italie. Même avec des écriteaux explicatifs c est très désagréable de voir des portaits de nazis et fascistes encadrés au mur

Caroline (8/5): Lovely hotel and great location, just check what’s open - Location and quality of the hotel was great There seemed to be ongoing confusion around whether the top terrace was open or not and given I’d booked it for the amazing location and rooftop terrace that was a bit frustrating. Staff referenced private events but it was empty except for one evening which was a private event… just a bit of clarity would have been good

Marco (4/5): Deludente visto il costo - La posizione è la colazione La stanza con vista scala di emergenza e non poter avere il riscaldamento in camera vista la posizione della camera come esposizione e quindi risultava sempre fredda soprattutto al mattino ma dallo staff ci stato detto che non era possibile accendere il riscaldamento
Joanna (9/5): Lovely hotel for a weekend in Florence. - Very convenient location just 5 mins from the station and stroll into town. Super friendly staff. Stylish interiors. Rooms are traditional but very functional and bed very comfy. No air conditioning.

Jederzeit ger - Top Lage und sehr freundliches Personal 😊 Auch die Autoabgabe im Hotel funktioniert reibungslos bei der Ankunft im Hotel. Sehr zu empfehlen ein wundervolles Abendessen im Dachterrassen Restaurant bei unglaublichem Ausblick auf den DUOMO Obwohl die Stadt eine Reihe von unglaublichen guten Restaurant`s- Osteria`n bietet. Eventuell der Garagen Tagespreis für einen SUV (€68.-)

Sue (10/5): Great location, outstanding breakfast, large, well-appointed room in an historic hotel. - The location was excellent and within walking distance of the station, the Duomo and many of Florence's other top sights. The room was large, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean - although the lighting was a little dim - too dim for reading. The toiletries were excellent. Breakfast was outstanding, although the breakfast room wasn't large and there could be a wait. The rooftop bar and the service there were great, though typically quite slow. Definitely a Grand Hotel and I would stay there again. It was great, but a reading light would have been nice - although perhaps not in keeping with the genteel ambience. It was also nice to have fresh sheets and towels every day. However, this isn't great for the environment, so it would be good to have a little card to give guests the choice if they want fresh sheets and towels every day, or are happy to reuse them. Thank you.

N4866UVvanessaf (8/5): Great location, beautiful hotel - We visited this hotel as a family trip to Florence. 3 of us stayed in a very comfy family room. We requested 3 single beds and they were very accomodating. We felt the floor space was too small for the 3 single beds (1 was a sofa bed). In the bathroom it had a strange step on the shower and a biday, which was both unnecessary. Regardless the bathroom was very beautiful. We had bed and breakfast, there was a great lay out of breakfast, however anything outside of what was on offer, we were charged for. The views from the hotel are incredible. Fantastic location. Hotel rooms were not cold and there was a thermostat to regulate your own temperature. Windows are sounds proof, which helps as the hotel is a great central location, everything is 10-15min walk. Photos might look dark and old fashioned but actually it has a royal feel to the building, and is very clean. Lifts are very small and creaky!

P8758LVmichaelb (4/5): deadly shower - not sure how this hotel is rated high. First, the absolute worst shower I ever experienced. How to describe how useless and dangerous. Room was small and poorly lite. WiFi was good however. To add insult to injury when I checked out I was given the receipt in Euros (as I told the desk) and when my credit card bill came it was in dollars ($25 more per nite). Old and not really updated hotel.

Would recommend and stay again! - Location, old world charm & decor, friendly staff We went in spring time, which is still cool for Italians but quite warm for us brits (circa 25 degrees). We really needed the air con to be running in our hotel room as it became quite warm (for us brits) over night.

Great position, 5 minutes from the station, and 10/15minutes to the Duomo, all the galleries, galleries, the river and a plethora of restaurants nearby. We had a lovely room, massive comfortable bed, loads of pillows! There was a sofa, double opening windows on a juliet balcony, a small depressing area, and bathroom. Food in the restaurant was excellent, and breakfast every day with amazing views was just brilliant. All the staff were really excellent, all so friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend for a quality stay in Florence.

Jerramy (8/5): Beautiful, old school property with great views - Loved the location, the old school feel, the giant room, the friendly staff, the duomo view from breakfast and the roof terrace No AC in April and our fan didn't work unless the lights were also on (same circuit?). We kept the window open but noise from the street was a lot. Our bath didn't drain properly (and was not fixed when mentioned) and there was no full length mirror.

Jordy (8/5): - Excellent located is this really impressive property, with a top floor restaurant that enjoys breathtaking views. The staff are good. Had a nice room overlooking the piazza. Great hotel. The only downside is the air-conditioning - perhaps this is a wider Italy issue - the a/c is controlled and you cannot put it on cold even it is was very warm, and hence could not say that I had enjoyed my sleep. I am a person that gives this matter some weight, so for me it is an issue.
Sun Joo (10/5): Great hotel in florence - Location was great! We drove a car and parking was so stress-free. The restaurant for breakfast had great view and food was generally good but salad was not so fresh. Elevator was small, so during busy hours it was a bit inconvenient. The windows was not fully insulated, so it was a bit noisy at night but not so crazy. The lighting was a bit dim.

It was a thick memory foam but very dense. 695kjs (10/5): I am coming back! - We felt very welcomed and were looked after. The hotel location was perfect close to everywhere after a short walk from the train station. The room had a romantic pretty sitting area at the backyard. I would highly recommend everyone to book breakfast inclusive plan. It was an amazing breakfast in a beautiful rooftop restaurant. I would stay at this hotel again when I come back to Florence.
