- Aswini (2/5): - Worst hotel to stay with family
- Paul (8/5): - Great place if you want to do some shopping
- Pichsotheavy (8/5): - Wonderful location and friendly staffs.
- Chakavuth (6/5): - Air conditioning needs some works, and the lighting in hallways.
- Teofilo (2/5): - The room is so old and the linen and towel are old.
- Edgar (2/5): - The bathroom its very poor ,when you enter the room smells bad ,broken flooring, the bedding is dirty with hair ,even the towels it’s very old , every time you entered the room need to re activate the card, even they activated you have to try so many before it’s worked it’s very inconvenience, the only thing it’s very close to the market. The food not good, the hallway it’s dirty they need a major improvement specially the bathroom & bedroom.
- Khemar (10/5): - Quiet and great place to stay
- Ger (10/5): - Nice and clean
- PA (2/5): pretended they couldn't find my reservation - Do not book in advance with this hotel!! We booked with this hotel in January 2024 for $44/night for 2 nights for May 27 and 28 2024. We checked in and they pretended they couldn't find our reservation and lied to us that we came to the wrong hotel. They told us our reservation was with Baiyoke SKY hotel. So we walked across the street to Baiyoke Sky hotel and they told us its not with them but we did go to the right place, so we went back and asked them why they would lie to us. One of the lead receptionist spoke in Thai to her coworker thinking we coldn't understand saying that when we booked in January it was $44 and on that night the price went up to $180/night so they weren't going to let us stay. They begged Baiyoke Sky hotel to let us stay over there instead. The two managers talked and agreed to let us stay at the other Baiyoke SKY hotel instead. We were
- Mel (4/5): - The only thing I like about this property is outside the hotel is the night market. You don't have to go far to shop for Thailand t-shirts and pants. It's a busy street!!!
Watson pharmacy is around the corner.
PICTURES are not always what they seemed. Old building with plain tv, old a/c unit, and small refrigerator. But, they do work! I could have booked somewhere else where I could enjoy their pool and really relax.
You can book this hotel for less than $20 a night if you wait until the day of. I paid over $75 for a night. The breakfast was okay. I just booked myself and my cousins a place at Baiyoke sky hotel for breakfast.
The bathroom was old, and the shower curtain seem like it has never been changed since the hotel has started.
- james (4/5): - Place was rundown, past its prime.
- Sudaporn (6/5): Need some attention - Was a place for a short stay but they like it not great but ok for the price
- Ming (6/5): - The air conditioner is out of service (freeze becomes icy) in the late evening, and there is no air conditioning throughout the night. the hotel is so old and needs renovation! toilet are old and leaking water. The towel n pillow case has stain!
- Fecelia (10/5): - I have been staying in this hotel every year when I travel to BKK, area is so convenient for shopping, airport railway, free shuttlebus offered by Baiyoke to weekend market, airport railway, siam square etc, staff are very polite and helpful too. Went with my friends and his family but due to the rundown of the hotel, they prefer to stay in Glow instead.
Hotel management may consider to do some revamp/ renovation including changing the hotel items.
- aircon as the noise is quite annoying.
- bigger size television.
- sofa.
- curtain should change to the full length as the sunlight can be seen in the morning.
- pillow is too high and thick for Asian as it causes neck pain after a night of sleep.
- bed has spring which causes interruption from sleep when partner tossed and turned during the night.
- TONY (10/5): - Near shopping area n all u like to eat
- Kok Sing (6/5): - Walkable distance from Ratchaprarop train station, can save the expenses taking taxi from airport to hotel. The bedroom is hot, because the aircon was not strong enough to produce cold to neutralize the heat from outside weather, especially those room facing the east. Bben highlight to hotel staff, but they can't do anything.
- nyi (10/5): - Great
- Soon Teck (8/5): - Not maintain for wear and tear
- CK (10/5): - Good place to stay and convenient.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Struggling to find positives about this hotel. The air con worked ✅ no hot water, internet kept dropping out, hotel is in poor condition. The cleaners worked with what they had and did best they could.
Location is good if you want market shopping; it’s on the doorstep.
I understand you get what you pay for, but you can get much better for same price and less in Bangkok
- Brendan (6/5): - The coffee in the breakfast room was really good. Breakfast room itself had a great view of Bangkok. However the hotel is very tired looking, cracked paint on walls, untidy wallpaper, no plants or pictures, low level lighting, no soap dispenser over bathroom basin, access is via steps only, too bad if you are injured etc.
- Mary Jane M. (10/5): - Very good
- Kim Poo (8/5): - Good
- Jonathan (6/5): - Staff were good, but the rooms were very dated, big empty spaces a couch and a tv in one room and a bed in the other! Not one picture on the walls. Bathroom had nowhere to store personnel toiletries, instant hot water system which was either boiling hot or freezing cold. We ended up getting a room change as this water was dangerous! Breakfast was very good with lots of choices, and a great view from the 43rd floor.
- kishal (8/5): - A good family hotel,close to all amenities.
- Christina (10/5): - If you're interested in checking out the markets, nothing beats this location. In the morning and the evening the streets fill up with various markets right outside the hotel. It is also close enough to the airport link train that we were able to just walk from the station to the hotel with our luggage. Malls are nearby as well. Nothing special about the room except it was twice as big as we needed it to be, really, with a large room with couches in it. Pool looked nice, and breakfast buffet was excellent and with a gorgeous rooftop view of Bangkok with glass walls all around. We enjoyed our stay here!
- SAN (8/5): - I like this hotel
- Kyaw (2/5): - Everyday you must need to request tooth brush and bottle of water, car parking lot elevator is close 6:00PM and open 8:00AM. I got huge trouble with my two toddlers, 78 and 71 years old parent, we all use the weird slippery stairs to reach lobby. Every single time you need to get the parking ticket at the entrance and chop the sign at lobby for go out. If you lost it, 500 Thai bath charge you, even they know you are staying at hotel. It's not convenience for if you drive. I wont rent that hotel again. .
- Stuart (4/5): - Do NOT confuse this with the other Baiyoke Hotel next door.
This hotel looks like it hasn't been decorated in years (perhaps30!). The tap in the bathroom nearly came off in my hand and our room (suite) did NOT have smoke alarms!
- Upal (2/5): - They charge too much for nothing. No facilities at all.
- Xiaohong (8/5): - Nearby shopping area where ladies will sure like. Room is very big as well. Will sure to book there again for my next visit.
- SunshineGirl (2/5): - Very old property. Super small elevator. Front desk not helpful. Horrible! I wouldn't stay there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Baiyoke suite Hotel has the best location for everything you need. Need not go hurgry, cause foot is within hotel, area.
- Raj (8/5): - It’s is ok value for money. Location is good
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room is too bright because the curtain can’t cover all windows especially the bottom(air conditioner compressor) window
- C (4/5): - Housekeeping was bad. Had to call every day cos everyday, something was missing or not replenished eg tissue papers, mineral water, soap etc. Worse of all, the water heater was not working. Called up the front desk and the technician came and fixed it. But that worked for 1 night only cos after that it was cold water....The chinese front desk staff was also very rude and impatient. Hotel is old and not well maintained. This is the first and last time I would stay in this hotel.
- JasonTan (2/5): - Everything is so old. Need to revamp. Breakfast is lousy. The only good thing is the location. Very convenient for shoppers.
- Adrian (2/5): NOT worth the Price i paid !!! - Worst Hotel Ever. Don't be confused with "Baiyoke Sky Hotel". This hotel is different hotel. Very old building, Outdated structures. Hotel is very crowded due to Indian Groups. Lift is always busy and crowded. Room lighting is very bad and thus is very dark at night.
Gym equipment is all damaged and useless (see Pic.)
This Hotel is NOT worth the price you pay (around 70usd). You could add 10-20 usd more to get good 5 star hotel.
- Teng (4/5): Unfair Charge - Toilet very smelly, the smell is from the pipe hole and when check out time they deduct me 350 baht cos we misplace the writing pad. We also never see where is the writing pad actually they keep. When we stay in the room we also don't bother to check or use it. Why must it be counted and charge to customer.
- Sharron (2/5): Bangkok overnight stay - Old, outdated, a desperate need of a redecorate. Good location, quiet room, breakfast not worth visiting.
- ANIL (10/5): - Nice stay
- Brian (6/5): - Food was poor. Elevators were too busy and had to wait
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is old and need to be refurbished ASAP so that we feel more comfortable. The location is good and the staffs, all are friendly and nice.
- Eric (4/5): Not ready for occupancy. - Rude staff, poor access (will have to climb stairs with all luggage), mold and broken fixtures in bathroom shot water all over, bad wifi (.1 MB/S I had to use cell phone as a hotspot), hard bed, tiny TV, mold.
Topping it off, the power went out. Room service quickly replied to reset the breaker.
This is not a quality hotel and the price did not match the experience.
But the breakfast buffet is good. If you must torture yourself, at least have breakfast as this is the only aspect that I can recommend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Dissapointed with the service - The water heater is not functioning on the first day I stayed. Complaint to the officer for 3 times within two consecutive days but no action take place. Very dissapointed with the service.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Location was great - right over the market stalls but still close to Central World. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast room was fantastic - great views (best feature).
Free wifi was unreliable - poor speed in the rooms, laptop only worked properly in the Lobby. Booking confidence with Wotif is now low - didn’t get what we thought we’d booked - had to argue with the staff about extras they wanted to charge for that we thought were included. The checkout staff lady my wife had to deal with had absolutely no personality whatsoever - she couldn’t care less about us -blank face. We had two rooms booked to accommodate 6 people -Wotif booking process with this hotel was misleading - was farmed it out to Expedia according to hotel manager. We’ve stayed at this hotel before several times during the last 15 years - may not again - at least not via Wotif.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This is very old and dirty building. It’s not acceptable to stay people at the property. The reception of the property is good condition but in side the most of the rooms are so dirty & wardrobes can’t use for shirts.
I found the rooms inside and never stay even single night at all. I recommend all the guests who wish to stay there not to come to there for staying but select other good hotel nearby the property.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not much, just normal
- Goh (4/5): Bad transport service. Do not book with them - Transport service terrible. Book a vehicle to outskirts and was told can ultilise to 10 hrs. Driver turn bad after we insist to go to a restaurant we wanted to eat rather than his persistent advice. When we want to go to next destination , he ask us how much we wanna to pay him.
In the end , he send us back to hotel instead of us requesting to drop us off at a near by MRT near to the hotel. The trip back was terrible as he always keep on braking and jerking the van and make our kids car sick. Make a complaint to the counter but they sided with him and give us a cold shoulder and stare during our remaining 5 days in the hotel. Please be beware.
- Madan (2/5): - Room was nasty bathroom sink was leaking, water always on the floor. I had to spread a towel on the floor. No soap shampoo. This hotel sucks.
- Tan (2/5): Jus bad - Service was bad...Hotel and room conditions terrible
- Yvonne (8/5): - Good location good food but really need renovation
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Overall I was pleased with the location. But for some reason I guess I expected more. Luckily our stay here was just for a portion of the overall trip.
If I had primarily stayed at Baiyoke, I don’t think I would have enjoyed Thailand.
The breakfast buffet was OK at best, but you need to go early to get anything close to decent. Didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant.
The bellhops were great and helpful every time I came in contact with them.
Upon checkout they tried to charge me for drinks neither my wife or myself had from the minibar. All we drank was the “complimentary” water which was restocked everyday.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Convenient to access to most of the places n near to airport city link station. Hotel should do some upgrading as some of the things are quite old n corridor very deem in some room. Wi-fi most of the unable to access.
- Christopher (8/5): - room is ok but they provide only 1 set up cups n saucers n I thought is normal as I’m staying there alone.
However on checking out they accuse me of taking a set of it as they claim should be set of 2. How am I suppose to know?
Housekeeping: after they cleaned my room. I need to wait till 5pm before I can shower as I was told there’s no towels
- Daniel (2/5): - What a pity. Super outdated facilities, noisy non working AC, dirty furniture, broken sink, stinky floors, hideous breakfast... just a bad experience.
- Sel (2/5): - Do not recommend for quality stay unless on tight budget trip
- Divina (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable stay - Breakfast was good, so many choices even if the same dishes are served everyday. Great location, you can find anything, anytime... contrary to other reviews, place is cleaned everyday, towels and bed sheets are clean too, 2 air conditioners in the room didn’t have a problem...receptionists were very helpful and housekeepers are friendly, wifi works perfectly...will definitely go back here next time...
- Lina (8/5): - Convenient for Muslim food, shopping mall and wholesale items.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We didn't like this property at all. We refused to stay here and booked another hotel. This property is not as advertised. It is run down and in some serious need of a makeover. The floors were lifting, there were stains on the sheets and bedding and smelt bad.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I am sorry this property doesn't deserve any comments.
- Hana (6/5): - The staff services is perfectly fine but for the condition of the room can be improved. When we check in to the room, the kettle is filled with water the bedroom aircon wasn't that powerful as the living room. There are a few mosquitoes seen in the bathroom.
Just be mindful, there wasn't any slope at the entrance for luggage but the security is helpful to carry it up n down for u. Meanwhile the room are super spacious and the bed condition is acceptable.
The area are well surrounded with night market and walking distance to Platinum mall, near Talad Neon & Paladium Night market.
Overall rating just nice for 3nights but not recommend for long stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Aricon not so cold
- John (4/5): - I booked the hotel on the strength of the photos , unfortunately the photo's seem to have been taken 10years ago !
- L.T. (2/5): - Property very old--carpet completely worn out---old fashion t.v.---made in 70's---bedroom t.v.---no volume---very small--can't see the pictures.
Need new t. v.----balcony locked can't open---was dissapointed can't use the balcony--sign on the door--do not open.
I check out a day early due to all the issues above will never go back.
- Gregory (4/5): Badly presented hotel - You don't even get what you pay for. This hotel is so run down. The sitting room had kitchen cabinets in the room however you can't open them as they have no handles so why are they there. There is a queen bed head with a single bed. useless room. The tv in the bedroom has no set top box so you can't make it work. Will not stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - In terms of service, bottled water was not replaced throughout our stay unless we pester them for it. Same goes for the tissues and etc. Our room key card keeps on getting disabled for no reason and we had to keep on asking the reception to reset it. The water in the shower is always either boiling hot or icy cold, there's no in between.
- SHIRAZ (2/5): Plz delete this hotel from ur list . - It was Very pathatic .... worst place to stay .... not recommend any one to stay as it’s night mare for me .
- Win (4/5): - Rooms are very spacecious but AC in living room was leaking. AC in bed room wasn't cold. Inform reception but not fixed. Very bad toilet smell in Room. Always need to ask hand towels. Even we asked, housekeeping didn't provide. We need to ask again. Bathtub was not cleaned everyday. Except for location and room size, service was disappointing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room is big, ggod location, ot of good food n shopping.
Bathroom a bit small
- Virgenita (10/5): - Comfortable to stay
- David (8/5): - Great location in the midst of the downtown street markets. This makes access difficult, however, as the taxi must wend its way through the bustling and often narrow streets to get to the hotel. That's a feature of the location more than anything else.
Checkin and checkout were both quite slow, although this is an industry-wide problem attributable to overly complex procedures and under staffing. Any hotel that can solve these problems will move quickly to the head of the pack if it's not already there.
My bank card was accepted at the front desk but not at the drink vendor on the other side of the lobby.
- MsKoh (6/5): - The facility have to maintain as I notice some are still old or didn’t even maintain.. If the equipment unable to maintain change a new one..
The kitchen part didn’t even have basin for us to clean the plates or cup..
The balcony floor didn’t even clean when I stay in.. it’s so dirty... likely the door can’t open..
- Nanny (4/5): - Hotel location is ok but service is poor. Wifi connection is very poor. I can’t connect even password & username are correct. Front desk took so long to pick up phone. Promised technician to fix connection never came.
One evening upon my return from sight seeing, there was a cockroach crawling in the floor
- Tan (6/5): Average to poor - Hotel location Good
Hotel room rubbish was Not Clear for the 3 nights stay
Missing room slippers
Soap and shampoo nvr TOP up
- Selly Frista (2/5): Hotel has no attention regarding no shows guests. - I booked thus hotel for 3 nights. Since my daughter got ill I have to cancel my trip to Bangkok.
I left my hotel room nights as a noshow, because if I cancel it I will not get refund at all.
And what a dissapoinment to me that the hotel did not bother to find out about our no shows for 3 nights.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The hotel doesnt have a proper entrance. Stairs straight to lift. Clothes market in front. Swimming pool was out of order. 2 aircon in room was only bĺowing air. It was very hot in the room
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Place needs to be refurbished. Interior old and dingy
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Big spacious room. But lots of dust mites me and hubby scatch our skin for 3 nights. Change room 2 times still itchy. Terrible old hotel full of bugs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - hot water was not stable when I bathing. Air-con too nosey, and the room is smelly. But the service is good enough.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The room no repair,pain
- CHINNA (4/5): - No access to WiFi in the room ....
- Aung (4/5): Unsatisfied. - We stayed 3rd April to 5th April 2019 in Baiyoke suites .
Room was bad smell from carpet, as we late check in we couldn't complain and sleep without any comments.Next day we complained and house keeping cleaned , it was alright.
The bed sheets and towels were older then it should tear repair by needle was seen in the middle of the bed . Toilet cover is cracked and very old style of bowl. water drain all the times. Room 172.
We went there for 2 rooms ,one from Hotel .com and the other reserve from other site.
Our Hotel.com room was a very bad room, other room was quite acceptable.room 342 .
My question is Hotel.com is not in good relation with Baiyoke Suite? if not we are totally disagreed with your reservation. My consideration with hotel.com will be unsatisfied.
- Si King (8/5): Room rate is reasonable. - The location area is a bit crowded but quite convenient.
- WWH (8/5): - Pratunam shopping area is just below the hotel!
Easy to get bangkok street food and massage :)
- Christina (6/5): - Basic accommodation but clean. In the middle of the fashion district with lots of food outlets plus some restaurants.
- James (6/5): - location in Prime location, but staff not helpful. eventually, the stay was OK..
- Chooi (4/5): - The spacious room and sky lounge is the unique part of Baiyoke Suite. However, the terrible service i experience when I check in already spoiled my mood during the stay. We reached around 10:30 pm on 22/2/2019 and the FO staff is so rude and keep mention my booking got problem and request me to pay extra. She is really not friendly staff. Lastly , the night duty manager assist us to settle and this whole check in process almost take me 20mins. This FO staff not even presentable grooming and is very rude !
- Verified traveler (10/5): Need to change the door room - Very noisy when close the room door.
- Sim (4/5): Not recommand - Hotel is run down. Do not provide basic toiletries. Not worth staying.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice room and the bed very comfortable best shoppinglocation
- akcc (10/5): - You can find almost anything and i mean everything around this hotel/area. Although there are some minor issues during my first 3 days, the female manager handle it very well including the GM.
Overall experience, you get what you paid for. Will i come back the next trip, yes i will.
Thank you
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Swimming pool was rather disappointing, it was old and poorly maintained. The edge of the walls are sharp and can cut ur feet.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - comfort and spacious room
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location for shopping. - The room has vastly been improved as compared with the last time I stayed there. Previously, the suite was carpeted and its colour made it appear very dim and old and run down. Now, it is laminated and looks brighter and is cleaner and well maintained.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room is big but need a total renovation smell old carpet
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice hotel if you like shopping. Easy to get local food also
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel hot water on n off . Toilet very old n broken tiles
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Never come back to this hotel again is like 2star hotel Aircon not good n the toilet is very old n the door cannot close very back WiFI
