• glguesby (8/5): Interesting stay for our Anniversary - It was a nice place, although we weren't sure which building to go to first. We ended up going to the 2nd building and then having to go back to the first building to check in. We were there for our yearly vacation and we chose Universal Studios this time. This hotel was so close to the area and it was what we needed. When we arrived, there was a young lady having issues with the front desk and a strange guy out front. The internet was slow in the room and my husband noted the "reconstruction that wasn't happening". Our room keys didn't work on the side door where the stairs to our room was. Lots of construction noise above us for the first two days and a domestic disturbance down the hall. But this was what we needed convenience-wise for our anniversary trip.

• kiaral296 (10/5): My amazing time at Extended Stay - The extended stays on Vineland Rd is amazing. Its quite, the staff is super friendly and kind. I love that the hotel ia next to universal studios and how three different was to get there and back. The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooms also have a full kitchen, gym and wash room. This place is amazing and my kids love being here at the hotel. John and his staff are one of a kind and if I ever need to stay at a hotel ill always come to this one cause it feel like home
• marlainaq (2/5): Horrific Hotel Experience - One of the Orlando locations is completely unfit for anyone to stay in. Despite having a confirmed reservation, I was told upon arrival that there was no room available for me. The front desk receptionist had to personally clean a room just so I could check in, which should have been the first red flag. When I entered the room, it was absolutely filthy. I found two roaches. The toilet was disgusting. There was a used bar of soap left on the sink. Water was actively dripping from the ceiling. This was not a minor housekeeping oversight — this was a health and safety issue. Hotels.com has made multiple attempts to contact the property to secure a refund, and the hotel has refused to respond. The photos used to advertise this property are clearly from a different, much nicer location and do not reflect the actual conditions. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The lack of cleanliness, accountability, and basic professionalism is unacceptable. Do not stay at this hotel chain.

I did not like that the pool was closed. Nowhere on the site Did it mention that the pool was out of order. I also didn't appreciate the fact that I had to go buy my own pots and pans. The police arrived several times for several different reasons.
• UKtravel12345 (4/5): Dated, tired and dirty - A party of 10 really looking forward to our stay at the hotel given the reviews that we read prior to booking. On arrival it took a while for the receptionist to greet us however she was helpful. We headed down a very dated corridor, with an overwhelming smell of pets to the 2 suites. On opening the door the smell increased in its intensity . It was a very large room with 2 double beds and a sofa, kitchenette , bathroom and large wardrobe area. No coat hangers to hang anything up so had to live out of our cases. The bed sheets were clean but stained, the sofa pulled out as a bed however the mattress was so thin, stained and very uncomfortable. The bathroom looked dirty, very dated, the sealant had come away in places allowing bugs to get through, drawers wouldn’t close fully or were taped up. The kitchenette was very tied, dirty and dated. We had to collect any crockery, cutlery, etc that was needed from reception. Along with additional bedding as there wasn’t enough. The oven was rusty, old and the door wouldn’t shut. Then onto the carpets, I couldn’t put my bare feet on them. It was soiled, ripped and dirty. A couple of positives , Universal was a 25 minute walk from hotel and on the day we left our flight was delayed so we were allowed to use the pool area, which was decent but no pool heating so it was freezing cold (outdoor temp was 27 degrees). I wouldn’t be rushing back.

• Meleekia (1/5): Highly upset customer - Nothing at all,What so ever The overall customer service was disgusting just as much as much as it smelled.. urine and animal odor throughout the hallways and room..You wont get any compassion or respect from the manager because once the room is booked your comfort is the least of the worries...Tried contacting this location multiple times for being over charged due to misunderstanding and misinterpreted conversations but the manager of this location is unprofessional,disrespectful and proceeded to hang up and avoid incoming calls from customer relations regarding this situation.The bed had no. Springs on 1 side of the bed ..To be technical the health department needs to be visting more often..

• jeffhA1547YH (10/5): Footsteps away from Universal. - The location is superb. You are practically at the entrance of universal Studios. Nightlife, dining and attractions are within walking distance. The atmosphere was chill and on the quiet side which is what we prefer. The rooms are cozy with full kitchen. Pet friendly is always a plus. A magical time for the entire family!!! Great value for family for sure!!!

The staff is great very friendly especially Blanca at front desk and Juan, they are very accommodating and go above for the guest. Coffee is good , rooms are clean, hotel is safe and pet friendly. I have a disabled child and they made sure her needs were met which I appreciate cause that’s not the case everywhere we go. I would recommend this location and will be going back.

• glguesby (6/5): For Universal should have been Better - Oh where to begin: Got to the road it was on and there are two Extended Stays and we went to the 2nd one and had to go to the first one. There was a cop in the lobby talking to a guest- not what I expected. The room was very nice, very spacious. Bed was too soft. Shower didn't have any water pressure. Plenty of outlets in the room. You can feel the springs in the pull out sofa on your back. Room temperature was perfect. Lots of noise from upstairs late at night every night. Domestic disturbance across the hall was quite loud. Couldn't get into the hotel with our room key after a certain time at night, either side door nor the front door. Had to call the front desk from outside. Light breakfast downstairs was lovely. Light bulb was out on the desk light and the clerk was very nice to bring us a new one. Checking out with all of our luggage, the sign on the elevator said it was "Out" but when we turned in our keys, the front desk said it's working. So whoever put the signs on each floor did not remove them. Internet was not optimal: 1.4 meg a second for most of our stay. Toilet paper holder was too close to the actual toilet. Full kitchen but no forks, knives, spoons, cups - if we wanted those things we had to go downstairs and request them. For all of this, kinda over-priced. We've stayed in better Extended Stay America's in our 9 year marriage.

Inside the bathroom, there were not big enough soap bars and There could have been more effort put into this hotel.

• Justin (2/5): Just book somewhere else. - This hotel needs to be condemned. The smell of cigarettes and weed was overpowering. The bed was dirty, the counters were dirty, the bathroom smelled very badly. I travel for business quite regularly that this might me the worst hotel I have ever been in. Oh, not to mention the prostitute banging on someone's door down the hall at 3:30am, that was a nice touch.

Probably one of the worst places i have ever stayed in. Half way trough the night i contemplated me and the family just sleeping in the car.

The staff are friendly the manager John is very visible to the guest and able to be reached at any time if you need him. The room was very clean (I’m very picky). The pool is clean and the coffee in the morning is good! Juan did our check in and he accommodated out service animal just fine. I definitely recommend this location of extended stay hotel. My kids loved it. The kitchen is pretty big the room is comfortable!!

My low review is due to the fact that they advertise breakfast included when in fact all they offer is coffee and some tiny muffins. Better advertise no breakfast, or describe it as what it is...I really dislike deceiving advertisement.

The room was well cleaned and stocked with the usual . John the manager here was amazing as well very nice and outgoing . We are also located at a good location where a lot of places are walking distance . Has a nice pool area and it’s very quiet here as well. I would def book again and come back for seconds !!

This is an amazing place and I will definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking for a peaceful vacation on a budget 🥰🙏🙌🏼 the beds are so comfortable and the rooms are so clean and organized. If you are having any problems at all they will resolve them in seconds. Absolutely love this place 😊

John was very courteous and professional. The pool of the time was waiting to be inspected by the county so that cannot be used. The corporate team did come through the property and was not very nice but the location staff were polite and courteous and felt welcoming and we’re professional the executive staff that came through doing an inspection or not kind and put a bad taste in her mouth, resulting in as checking out early

The bathroom was clean, a/c worked like a charm, and the kitchen had a full oven/stove which made my 3 days there feel like a small apartment more than a boring hotel room. I will be back for sure

Just a suggestion that there should be enough for each room so it wouldn't be a problem in the future with anyone wasting money on food or let them know that upon booking..

• CoraLee (2/5): Stay Away - Very disappointed and disgusted with my stay. The pull out coach had the most disgusting mattress. I bought it to front desk’s attention. They wanted to offer me another room to split my family up . We’re not from the area and felt uncomfortable sleeping in separate rooms. Told me he would have to see if his manager could do something.Which he never spoke to his manager about. Unsanitary conditions and it was unbelievable how they handled it. I would never recommend this place to anyone !

Also i expected to have at least some basic kitchen supplies since there is a full kitchen, but those items are available for a fee. The pool was closed. When asked about that, the man just said that they were waiting for someone from the state. Not sure if we'll stay here again.

• Jessica (2/5): Canceled our booking as we were about to check-in. - DO NOT BOOK HERE! I booked a room at this hotel and as I got off the exit to check in, I got a call at 4:16 PM stating that they were overbooked and that we no longer had a room. Juan (who worked at the front desk) called to let us know but was like "Oh we have a sister hotel in which YOU can call and reserve". We asked him if he could just move our reservation over and he said no. We hang up and book at Cabana Bay. He called about an hour later to inform us that he booked for us. We told him to cancel and we already found another hotel. The next morning I woke up to a charge from extended stay. It was a no-show fee! I called the hotel that morning and was told to call at a later time for manager. Later that day when we finally got in touch with a manager (Monica) who at first refused to give us her name. She stated that she needed to speak with Juan before she decided to refund us. However, she would not let us know when she would get back to us. I got in contact with Hotels.com and they were able to get us our refund. However, they also had a hard time dealing with this hotel. If it wasn't for them I do not think we would have received our refund. Our fun trip to Universal turned out to be so stressful because of Extended Stay. I would STAY far away from them. Plenty of other options in Orlando.

They only had a room with one bed and a pullout, which was stained and moldy, disgusting to say the least. We asked for blankets and sleepy on the floor. Cockroaches were crawling on us.

• Janelle (8/5): Quiet, Comfortable, and Hassle free - Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the staff was very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the room was—we didn’t hear a thing and slept soundly. My 12-year-old and I stayed overnight while traveling, checking in after midnight and out at 11 a.m. No complaints—it was exactly what we needed at the perfect time.

• Anna (6/5): Convenient to Universal Studios but... - Great location, convenient room for a family of five. The staff was friendly. There are several nice restaurants, a bakery and Walgreens nearby. Dirty hallways smelling of Marijuana half the time. The mattress on the pull-out couch was filthy. We paid extra for included breakfast, but there was no breakfast at all. The employee explained that they had run out of food faster than expected, and were not restocking until Sunday. On Sunday morning, the only thing available for breakfast was instant oatmeal.
