Guest Reviews
- Guy (9/5): -
- Linda (7/5): -
- David (10/5): Great hotel in Shinjuku - Very nice room, plenty of amenities The noise from the street traffic can be a little loud
- Lisa (10/5): - This hotel had everything we needed as a family It was awesome
- Robert (8/5): -
- Ryan (10/5): Awesome place for a large family! - This property exceeded our expectations! It was super clean, a very unique space and provided lots of amenities. They give you a certificate to use for the delicious breakfast buffet at their sister property. It also has massage chairs that we sat in after the breakfast. It’s on the outskirts of the seedy (seedy for Japan, still very safe) part of Shinjuku. So there’s not a lot of great restaurants or cool things to do nearby. You need to grab a cab, subway or expect a very long walk.
- Jan Christoph (9/5): Für Familie in Tokio, supet location!
- Blyton (10/5): We have stayed here before and we will stay here again love it - It was close to great places subways has a convenient store underneath Nothing
- Roy (9/5): - Room size and staff
- Megan (8/5): Great do our family to base ourselves to explore Tokyo - The genius amount of skincare, breakfast and space the room provided No space to hang anything. Some hook on the walls would have been amazing

- Laura (7/5): Fun stay for kids, but a genuine 3 star facility. - The kids loved the karaoke machine but we found it quite difficult to use. The microphones were temperamental at best. Couldn't use the projector at all as the instructions were near impossible to read. We couldn't even figure out how to turn it off and called down to front desk who advised we needed to stand on a chair to turn it off at the off button on the roof. It ended up staying off the rest of our stay. Kids LOVED the tv in the bath but would have loved the option of a children's channel as there was only adults channels to choose to watch. The amenities bar was beyond fabulous and every thing under the sun was thought of and supplied. The drinks in the fridge and the ice-creams in the freezer was a fabulous and a welcomed touch. Also loved the extra cords and power cords in the room which helped charge all of our devices easily. The little touches like these were excellent. The room was very dated and a bit smelly. The air conditioning had a very stale smell when on. Also had a lot of street noise coming through the doors to the balcony. The sink in the bathroom was also dirty when we arrived and the bedhead super dusty.
- Trina (8/5): - Staff and location Nil
- Robert (9/5): One of the best family stays we had - Great location and excellent rooms to stay for family with kids!
- M.A. Sal.
- Hillary (10/5): -
- Hoimonti (10/5): - Amazing location with so many amenities. Incredible room. Wish we had more time to just hang out at the hotel. It's close to a busy station so just be aware that Shinjuku station in crowded but the hotel was in a quieter areas of Shinjuku. Great hotel.
- Natalie (10/5): Huge room and so well equipped - This is an incredible place to stay - obviously not cheap but the biggest room we stayed in during our Japan trip and so well equipped - including lots of things we didn't need (like the bottle steriliser) but which would have made our trip so much more comfortable. I think this would be our first choice in Shinjuku when we return.

- rajeev (9/5): Great family stay - Amenities, karaoke, location, large family room, great for kids, washing machine/dryer, reasonable buffet Didnt really vibe with the bali theme
- Nelson (10/5): Highly Recommend! - Location was great! Amenities abound! Size was perfect for our family of 4!
- eve (10/5): amazing stay! - amazing property!!! staff were so helpful! would recommend highly!
- Annika (9/5): Lovely stay in Tokyo - We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Pasela Living Shinjuku. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Shinjuku and just a few steps from a metro station, making it incredibly easy to get around Tokyo. The neighbourhood is lively and full of attractions within walking distance, along with plenty of local eateries, restaurants, and cafés nearby.
One of the highlights for us was having the entire floor to ourselves, which felt very private and convenient. The room was spacious with a lovely Japanese touch, featuring a separate toilet and bathroom and a wide range of amenities. There was even a nice small kitchen corner, which added extra comfort to our stay.
The beds were very comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious and served at a nearby hotel just a 2-minute walk away. For those who preferred to stay in, hot dogs, curry, and hot drinks were also available in the morning. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo. Nothing
- Lindsay (8/5): - The layout was so nice for our family of four. My kids loved the refrigerator stocked with ice cream and drinks. Breakfast was good. Easy check-in

- Georgina (9/5): - Great family living space. For self catered apartments they had thought of everything. You don't see the staff much and the breakfast venue is a short walk up the road. It is Balinese style. Which is an odd choice if you are visiting Japan.
- Anongrat (10/5): - So extremely clean and huge bath ever.

- ben (10/5): Fantastic location and hotel. 5 Stars from us. - The location was central enough for first time family visit to Tokyo without being in the louder or busier streets of Shinjuku. The facilities, room size and everything was absolutely amazing.
We are now at a club med hotel and tbh we rate this boutique hotel better than where we are now.
Thanks for having us. The internet cut in and out almost days.
- Ngo (10/5): -
- Rosalie (10/5): BEST STAY - The place is perfect for everything. Near metro station, family Mart is just next door. Restaurants and other shops are just a minute walk. The hotel itself is beautiful, bigger size compared to other hotel room in Japan. The best part of the room is the big Jet Bath. There are free amenities in the hotel lobby; unlimited free Wine in the lobby , free drinks in the fridge and unlimited ice cream. THANK YOU and I will definitely book again. NONE
- Diana (8/5): - The place was spacious, the breakfast was good addition too. Was able to communicate with staff if needed. You can see the effort they have put in to make the place family friendly. The drinks, ice cream were a hit for the kids. Just be aware that to get to the area, you have to pass by parts of Shinjuku that may not be for kids. But the hotel itself made efforts to make the hotel very family friendly
- Kristy (10/5): -
- Luyao (9/5): -
- Tim (9/5): Greta family friendly hotel - Great family space….big enough for family of 5. Clean. We had the deluxe family room. Liked the seperate bathroom from the sleeping area. Location was walking distance to nightlife and restaurants and next to a family mart. Microwave, washing machine and projector were very difficult to use. But no big deal
- Tim (9/5): Great place for family stay in Shinjuku - Room was very spacious and clean. Light breakfast, ice cream and beverages provided. Many amenities to make stay feel special (face masks, slippers, etc) no front desk staff.
- Moss (8/5): Great - So many amenities and appliances
- Rebecca (9/5): -
- Tammy (10/5): Great place to stay. Will stay again. - Convenience. Liked the hot tub shower area.
Liked the space Liked everything
- Grace (9/5): Great family stay in this quirky modern hotel with all things that you need. Free wine, coffee, juices and ice cream. T - Quirky hotel, well thought out room with big bath and shower, bunk beds for the kids and a karaoke machine, lots of amenities and free things like wine, ice cream, juices. Modern and lovely. You have to self check in and self check out which was fine and there is no receptionist. No problems with that though.
- Leonie (7/5): Great stay. Convenient location. Could do with a few upgrades and breakfast needs to be reevaluated but apart from that - Great place to stay for kids, they were very happy with their sleeping arrangements Didn’t get the best nights sleep as the bed was quite uncomfortable. The breakfast offered at the hotel across the street wasn’t suitable for kids
- Jen (9/5): Great location and amenities for young families - Location, amenities and comfort with kids. Highly recommend for families. Nothing, would stay again!
- CHANGSHENG (9/5): - a l l Break fast
- Marlene (10/5): -
- Adam (9/5): A great family hotel. I would recommend staying here to anyone with a family. - The family room was very large. The TV system was very difficult to lose.
- Robert (10/5): Great stay - Breakfast was amazing
- Tom (10/5): Amazing for bigger families, friendly and such a lovely place to stay. - The location was perfect - 10 mins to Shinjuku station, 2 mins to higashi-Shinjuku station.
The room was great - so hard to find a room for 2 parents and 4 kids! The bunks were amazing, especially with the curtains. In room Karaoke was an unexpected hit, they loved it.
Good amount of space for a meal and a rest each day.
The included breakfast was so good (muffins, croissants, hotdog in bun and Japanese curry with rice) each kid had something each morning, plus we didn’t realise we had included buffet breakfast every morning at their sister hotel Bali An - which was great the one morning we went.
The staff were so helpful and we had a constant supply of free water, orange drink and soda water, plus towels every day.
The elevator was small, but fit all of us and was never hard to catch, despite only having one.
Highly recommend for families. Nothing
- Hang (10/5): -
- Stacy (10/5): My new favorite hotel. Everything we could’ve imagined was provides. - We only had the 6 digit code at check-in. Didn’t have the 5 digit code yet. We stood on the street with all of our luggage for 10-15mins trying to figure out how to get in. Calls weren’t working. No staff, no staff call button. For some reason the door finally opened I assume from a camera monitoring us. It was super frustrating. Everything else was amazing after. Exceeded expectations. Loved everything. They have thought of everything. Wildly exceeded expectations.
- Bill (9/5): had a fun time here with our family of 5. Would recommend. Rooms were clean and tidy - Room was cool for family of 5. Kareoke was added bonus. As was the free wine after a big day sight seeing. Close enough to train stations nothing
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Fun stay for our family of 5. - Great stay over Christmas with our family of 5. Teens loved the amenities buffet and free ice cream. The apartment had everything you could ever need. We couldn’t make the clothes dryer work.
- Joshua (10/5): Wonderful stay and we WILL be back! - Our family of 6 had plenty of space and thoroughly enjoyed having the complementary drinks and ice cream in our room each day. We were always given fresh tires and having a washer and dryer in the room was fantastic. Street noise was not loud at all and we were within walking distance of so many amazing things to see and do. I am already booking our stay again for this coming year. Everything was great! We were not disappointed at all. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We will be staying again.
- Nancy (9/5): Lots of amenities - Lots of amenities, fun and comfortable room, breakfast at Bali hotel vouchers, full projector and screen in room Dryer did not work, very few personnel (are made up for by the amenities)
- Frantes (10/5): It’s like home away from home. - It’s the best hotel me and my family have stayed esp during New Years. It has a lot of space esp for our big bags, unlimited ice cream, karaoke, buffet amenities, projector for movies, free breakfast, washer and dryer, pjs, free storage after checkout, free drinks and so much more. We don’t want to leave the hotel and rather stay. There’s nothing to complain. We enjoyed our stay.
- Karla (10/5): Excelente estadia! Nada.
- Leanne (9/5): It was a great stay with great family space. It was convenient to all the main shops and main train station. It helped t - The free amenities, ice cream, wine and breakfast was a treat, plus the karaoke machine. It was a bit further away walking than expected from the train station but the subway is only a minute away
- An An (10/5): Comfortable and spacious - Free amenity bar, free drinks (including wine!) and ice cream, karaoke and jacuzzi in the room Breakfast
- Kylie (10/5): -
- Mats (10/5): -
- Heinrich (10/5): - Great experience!
- Matthew (9/5): - Beautiful stay, very clean, fully stocked, comfy beds, good location (subway access 2 min walk)
- Jean-Loïc (10/5): Amazing familiy room in great location - Amazing family room with great location in Shinjuku very close to metro station, konbini, restaurants & supermarket
Amenities and supplies make the stay very handy and confortable.
The staff is very helpful even if they are most of time not in the hotel Breakfast has limited options and croissants and bread are industrial quality.
- CJ (10/5): This hotel is the best accommodation we’ve had on this Christmas trip. If you have kids, I’d very much recommend Hotel P - The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The room at the 6th floor was awesome! The kids loved the bunk beds while my wife and i loved the big bathtub. The amenities buffet wowed the family. Everything you will ever need and more are available. Everything was FREE!!! One thing that we noticed was there’s a peculiar smell in the toilet or washing machine area that we can’t figure out.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Good choice for groups or families - Minimal fuss, and very aelf sufficient rooms They didn't clean our room though we stated 4 nights
- Mavis (4/5): - Alot of amenities Lack of human touch. Everything is automated. Staff hardly can be seen. Everything is through the phone
- Brooke (10/5): Wonderful time - The hotel was lovely and so was the staff, very accommodating The cot provided was too young for my child
- James (10/5): THE perfect place to stay with your family, literally everything is well thought out and provided. Thank you! - Wow, this place blew us away! It had everything we needed and more! Very large room, comfortable beds, lots of entertainment options (karaoke, board games, cards, kids toys). Provided bottled water, juice, tea, sparkling water, ice cream and it was replenished daily! Washer dryer inside as well and oh man the bath hot tub with the waterfall and jets and a TV was AMAZING!! I took 3 baths a day (sorry for all the water use). Then there was fresh rice, curry and breads every morning, perfect place for families. This might be the best place we’ve ever stayed at and would definitely book again. No complaints!
- Gabriel (9/5): - The free amenities were enjoyed by my family. Cool room layouts with a nice big bathtub, and my kids loved the bunk beds. It’s nice having the whole floor to yourself too.
- Pam (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Great hotel - Loved the room. The extra things in the foyer were a bonus The location was close to the action and the trains. Fabulous place. Nothing
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Jérôme (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Perfect accommodation for our family. - The accommodation had everything we needed. The bathroom was amazing! And it was very clean There was nothing we didn't like, everything was great.
- Tan (9/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): Amazing stay for a family of four! - The property was in the best location for a family with teenagers. Close enough to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku but just a couple city blocks away from the nightlife noise. It was also just a block away from the train which we road often to get around the other districts of Tokyo. The staff was very friendly! My kids were delighted when we first walked in the room, even thought they are both teenager 14 and 18 yo, they loved to tuck away into their bunk beds with curtains. Just enough private space. Having laundry washing machine in the room was perfect as we packed light so we didn’t have to lug around huge suitcases in our many stops through Japan. Thank you Hotel Pasela Living, we will be back! It was very pricey. Though it was less than booking two separate rooms in the heart of Tokyo.
- Lisa (8/5): Good location, spacious room with brilliant staff - Good location, spacious room with so many amenities. The beds were comfortable and we liked the refreshments that were left in the fridge daily. It had a massive bath and the projector screen was a real novelty. The washing machine in the room was super useful for our family. Very clean and the staff were 10/10 for friendliness and helpfulness. The breakfast was terrible.
- renato (10/5): -
- patrick (9/5): -
- Hazel (10/5): - Everything in the room was well thought of and just worked for our needs
- Victor (5/5): Very small and cramped room. Terrible breakfast - Good location Very small and cramped room. Once we opened suitcases there was literally no floor space left. And nowhere to hang anything. After using the shower the only place to dry off and get dressed was in the hallway. No privacy. And the breakfast was terrible. Just a pot of curry on a heater or some small tasteless croissants. The worst hotel of 7 we stayed in over a 3 week holiday.
- MAJDA (10/5): Zelo lepa soba, dobra lokacija, soba opremljena z vsem, tudi karaokami. - Lokacija dobra, blizu metro postaje. Postelje so bile udobne, soba velika. Kopalnica lepa.
- Heather (8/5): - The room was great, the amenities excellent, the location was good. Breakfast was good and we really liked the extra bathroom items and the little touches. While there were plenty of extras provided it was on the pricey side
