• Matthew AUSTRALIA (6/5): Good location - The host was very helpful and welcoming. Great location, near shopping mall, near bus, trams and a 10 min walk to Taksim Square. Good size room. Great breakfast, very fresh and tasty. The smell from the bathroom was really bad, even after the host tried to fix it. Due to an old building with old pipes. Almost unbearable, had to keep the door closed always. It was a shame as i would have rated this property a 7 other than this.

• Marian (7/5): Estancia sencilla en Beyoglu - La ubicación buena, en Beyoglu prácticamente en Istiklal Caddesi La habitación es amplia y tiene todo lo necesario. La cama grande y muy cómoda. Limpieza adecuada. La persona que lo gestiona (Mertz) es muy amable y dispuesto a ayudarte en todo cuanto necesites, transfer al aeropuerto incluido Está en zona concurrida y se oye ruido por la noche. No me afectó demasiado porque me quedé dormida igualmente. Puede importar a quien tenga el sueño ligero. Algunos detalles de mantenimiento del baño son mejorables. Escaleras, ascensor... estrechos, angostos y oscuros. Es un apartamento en un edificio estrecho. No es un hotel. No me gustó que el transfer se retrasara 20 min. Lo había pedido a las 4,00 am y apareció 20 min más tarde. A tener en cuenta si tienes que coger un vuelo y vas justo de tiempo. Además de los nervios que pasé hasta que el conductor empezó a contestarme por Whasapp (Mertz me había facilitado su tfno el día de antes después de abonarle el transfer). Quizá sea más seguro optar por un taxi para ahorrarte los nervios de si llegan o no llegan. Personalmente esto no me gustó nada.

• Elene (10/5): Authentic Hospitality in the Heart of Istiklal - The staff at the hotel were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of everything. Breakfast was excellent, and the overall experience was simply fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s rest. I would highly recommend Isle Hotel to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Turkish hospitality and the vibrant atmosphere of Istiklal. The bathroom could use a bit of maintenance and minor renovations, but nothing that affected the comfort or enjoyment of our stay

• Mariia (8/5): Приятный отель на Истекляле - Маленький отель с большим номером, в котором было все необходимое. Чисто, уточняли когда нужна уборка и после хорошо убирали. Приветливый администратор, который проявлял внимание и заботу, был вежлив, покормил нас завтраком, так как мы приехали очень рано и ускорил наше заселение. Большое ему спасибо :) Удобное расположение отеля рядом с Истеклялем и недалеко от метро, тоннеля и трамвая. На улице, где расположен отель, есть несколько ресторанов, где вечером\ночью есть живая музыка, от этого может быть шумно в номере, и не очень комфортно спать. Мы знали об этом, но для нас это не было критично. Если что берите с собой беруши.

The hotel is in a great location close to shops and Shishane train station The staff across the road at Ada were also wonderful, especially our waiter Sajit (sorry if the name spelling is incorrect). He was an absolute delight Could be a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights however if you make sure the windows are shut properly that helps
• SUNYOUNG (5/5): 편안한 숙면을 원한다면 다시 생각해보세요. - 호스트가 너무너무 친절함. 호텔의 모든 단점을 커버할 정도로 너무 친절하고 체크 잘해줌. 아침 못챙겨먹고 나가는 날 앞에 조식을 먹을 수 있는 멋진 카페에서 샌드위치까지 직접 챙겨줌. 연락 빠르고 무슨 일이 있던 너무 빠른 조취를 취해주어서 너무 고마웠고, 친절했음. 그리고 번화가에 위치해서 식당이나 쇼핑할 곳이 근처라는거. 위치. 밑에 진짜 새벽3시까지 (?) 하는 클럽 (?) 바(?) 이런게 있는데 소리도 너무 크고 건물도 윙윙 울림. 너무 시끄러워서 귀마개 사용해도 너무 시끄러움... 3일간 잠 거의 못잠. 피곤했음. 샤워기 온수 안나옴. 목욕탕 및 방 자체에 곰팡이 등 이불에 오염자국 등 방 자체는 전혀 청결하지 않고 크기는 넓음. 숙박하는 동안 와이파이가 계속 약하게 잡히다가 안됨. 문의 후 바로 해결해주었지만 또 안되었음. 이튿날 다시 문의했고, 다시 해결해줌. 호스트는 정말 너무나 친절했음.
• James (9/5): A great budget hotel in convenient location - A great budget hotel. The owner went out of his way to be helpful and make it a great stay. The breakfast is very good, and they even allowed us to mix it up a little since we were staying 4 nights. The location is very convenient, just off Istiklal Street and a few minutes walk to Tunel funicular and Sishane metro stations. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. Since it just off Istiklal Street, it was a little noisy at night but it didn’t bother us. There is one flight of stairs to the small elevator and you have to go a half flight up or down from the elevator to reach your room, so it isn’t a good option for someone with mobility issues.

• NIKOLAOS (4/5): We ended up finding a different hotel due to the noise - The room was nice and big for the price. There was a restaurant/club just below the room that turned the volume up at midnight until 3am. It was impossible to sleep as with closed windows it was still too loud. This happens every day of the week.

Room wasn’t cleaned or towels changed throughout our stay and the stuff was nowhere to be found when we wanted to ask for clean towels. It was VERY loud on weekend outside, especially on Sunday, till at least 3 a.m. so it was impossible to sleep even with the earplugs. On the last day we didn’t have water from the afternoon till next morning. I understand that was a general problem, but we felt practically left alone with this issue, with very limited contact with the stuff and no real info when the issue will be resolved.
• Alsu (10/5): - Isle. Небольшой уютный отельчик на улице Истикляль. Недалеко от метро. Чистенький, полотенца, тапочки, сейф, вода, шампуни, мыло. Все предоставляется. Что же больше всего понравилось - так это отношение. Mert - невероятно приятный молодой человек, который всегда спрашивал как дела, нужна ли вода , поменять полотенца, помыть номер и тд. Был момент, что мы не уехали до завтрака, так он попросил , чтоб нам сделали сендвичи и мы забрали их, когда вернемся в отель. Завтраки в соседнем кафе (фото приложу) . Сначала может показаться маленьким , но в действительности очень сытный. В общем все маленькие нюансики , которые могу быть перекрывает человеческое отношение. Спасибо 👏🏼 Может быть шумно в выходные. Так как отель находится на туристической улице. Но в будни все спокойно

• Björn (8/5): - So freundlicher Service. Auf alle Wünsche wurde gern eingegangen. Der (klassisch türkische) Frühstück im Café bzw. dem Restarant direkt gegenüber war wunderbar. Auf individuelle Wünsche wurde auch dort eingegangen. Man bekam immer ein freundliches Wort und die Nachfrage, ob alles wunschgemäß sei. Auch das Zimmer war schön. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer war ausgefallen. Sofort wurde einem aber ein anderes Zimmer mit funktionierender Klimaanlage zur Verfügung gestellt.
• Rositsa (10/5): Приятен и нов хотел в центъра на Истанбул - Хотелът е с ново обзавеждане, чист и приятен. Стаята беше достатъчно голяма и удобна. Локацията е идеална - директно на ул. Истикял, a на около 100м има голям закрит паркинг. Изненадахме се, че въпреки шума навън, като се затворят прозорците не се чува нищо. Нямам забележки :)

Propreté (on a du demandé pour le ménage et changement des serviettes). . Odeur d'egout dans la salle de bain. . Beaucoup de bruit (dans une rue avec des bars). . Petit déjeuner est tard (a partir de 9h).

• Fran (7/5): Buena opción calidad-precio en una ubicación perfecta. Servicio top! - La ubicación es muy buena, en pleno centro de ocio de Estambul, con restaurantes, tiendas y puntos de interés cerca. Es zona turística, pero no tan extrema como al otro lado del río. Es ideal para gente joven que quiere disfrutar de la ciudad. La habitación estaba limpia, y era más amplia de lo que imaginaba. El propietario estuvo pendiente en todo momento por lo que pudiésemos necesitar, y fue muy detallista. El baño podría ser mejor. Dificultades con el grifo y poco espacio, pero tampoco fue dramático. A partir de las 9 de la mañana se escuchaba mucho ruido del aparato de aire acondicionado de arriba, y retumbaba la habitación, pero como a esa hora nos íbamos a visitar la ciudad, no fue un problema para nosotros. Pero es algo que si deseas descansar, puede ser molesto.

But the best of the best was Mert, the receptionist, who has been super friendly and helpful :) Only critic : quite noisy bar under the hotel
• Kamil (10/5): - It was definitely best accomodation I got in Turkiye! My room was super clean and very modern with all nice furniture and lighting. Very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom makes you really feel like you can rest after all day long walking around the city. Hotel is located very close to bus and tram stops and it takes only 10min walking to the nearest port where you can get a ferry to explore Bosphorus. They serve breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and it's really very fresh with some local cheese and olives. Never managed to finish my plate because portions are huge. I also have to mention that the host Mert is extremely nice person and he is always ready to help you or give you some advices about Istanbul. Meeting him was always a huge pleasure!

• Sonia (4/5): Disappointing. - The location and the breakfast that was served in the restaurant across the street. In a 5-nights stay, we didn‘t have electricity for a day and a half, no water for a night and no wifi many times during the stay. The hotel confirmed to me a partial refund through Booking, but more than a month later they are still playing around and haven’t released the payment.
• Sergio Alexander (1/5): Avoid - The location is perfect, the wifi works well Really dissapointed in many ways. I don't usually leave a review on accomodations but I think this one really dissapointed me. First I never saw any staff in the hotel. I arrived late and they gave me instructions on how to self check in via a door code and found my key at the repection desk. The room itself if fine with good size but bare in mind the hotel is on top of a club so every night there was a very loud music underneath our room until late at night 3-4 am. Impossible to rest properly. The breakfast is included. The first day we received the breakfast in the restaurant in front of the hotel and it was nice very complete. However the second day the breakfast was very basic. I asked the waiter why I was not getting the eggs, salami, cheese with bread as the day before and they told me sorry not available today. So basically they give you a full breakfast the first day and then just a small breakfast the rest of the days, I ended up paying for extra food and drinks and did not have breakfast in the restaurant hotel the rest of the days. Another time I asked for an iron to iron my suit as I had an event and they responded me via whatsapp they don't have an iron and cannot facilitate one so I ended up going around and having to buy one with my own money. This is basic in a hotel to provide an iron for guests. Another thing they never cleaned the room in the four days we were there, the bathroom was dirty from the beginning. They never gave us fresh towels and impossible to ask them as they were never there I never saw anyone in the reception. I ended up looking myself for the laundry room and taking towels by myself. In the pictures and comments I thought I was gonna have a nice stay and I ended up having a very bad experience. The location is great and the city itself is amazing. But the service and the accomodation was a nightmare.

• Josée (5/5): Décevant - Formidables localisation et déjeuners. Le gérant est très gentil et avenant. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel. Le bar à côté (dans le même édifice) crache de la musique régulièrement ( 2 à 3 fois semaine) jusqu’à 3 heures du matin. Impossible de dormir. Odeur d’égout dans la salle de bain. Première chambre champignons dans la douche. Le gérant a été réactif face au bruit émanant du bar mais il n’a pas le contrôle sur cet établissement. Nous avons transmis un message au fils du proprio concernant les divers problèmes mais nous n’avons reçu aucune réponse. Nous avons passé plusieurs nuits dans cet établissement. De plus, l’administration nous a demandé de payer la note en cours de séjour, contrairement aux autres établissements où nous avions réservé aux mêmes conditions (payé plus cher pour avoir des conditions flexibles) qui prenaient leur dû après notre départ.

• Lorenzo (1/5): Non fatevi fregare! - La posizione e la colazione sono le uniche cosa buone della struttura, ma per favore non fatevi fregare: la doccia era piena di muffa; la stanza era piccola e sporca; l’aria condizionata non funzionava; in tre notti non hanno mai rifatto la stanza; la reception non esiste - è una piccola stanza di fianco alle scale in cui non c’è mai nessuno; abbiamo dovuto chiedere la carta igienica tre volte perché non ce n’era abbastanza; abbiamo dovuto tenere la porta del bagno sempre chiusa perché altrimenti la stanza si riempiva di odore di fogna. Quando abbiamo prenotato, eravamo contenti di aver trovato un hotel ad un buon prezzo nel centro di Istanbul. Abbiamo presto capito il perché: la doccia era piena di muffa; la stanza era piccola e sporca; l’aria condizionata non funzionava; in tre notti non hanno mai rifatto la stanza; la reception non esiste - è una piccola stanza di fianco alle scale in cui non c’è mai nessuno; abbiamo dovuto chiedere la carta igienica tre volte perché non ce n’era abbastanza; abbiamo dovuto tenere la porta del bagno sempre chiusa perché altrimenti la stanza si riempiva di odore di fogna. Insomma, una vera e proprio fregatura.

• Rainer (9/5): Super, wenn man die Sehenswürdigkeit in Sultan Ahmed schon gesehen hat. - Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen, Metro, Cafés und Restaurants sind direkt vor Haustür. Frühstück gibt es erst um 9:00.

• Frantisek (9/5): Nice hotel type accommodation, great breakfast, good area, easily accessible to all city & airport. - Nice little hotel in a good area with a nice, super friendly & helpful host and totally superb turkish breakfast! We enjoyed the stay 100% and fully recommend! All the minor details (little older bathroom) were absolutly overuled by all the pros (breakfast, host, hospitality etc..) So nothing to complain about. Just a note, the place is in very alive part of the city so expect open restaurants and venues everywhere and understandable noise till late night hours (again, no complain from us).
• Athanasia (6/5): - Απίστευτη τοποθεσία. Μέσα στην καρδιά της istiklal κ δίπλα στα μμμ. Το προσωπικό κ ειδικά ο Mert ειναι ευγενεστατος κ έτοιμος να μας βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε ζητήσουμε. Σ ευχαριστούμε πολύ Mert για όλη σου την προσπάθεια!! Το μπάνιο στενό. Το πρωινό καλό. Μείναμε 3 βραδιά κ ενώ είπαμε στην καθαρίστρια να μας καθαρίσει το δωματιο, δεν έκανε τίποτα απολύτως, ουτε αλλαγή πετσετων, ούτε σεντόνια ούτε σκουπίδια. Με την πρωτη βροχη το δωμάτιο πλυμμηρησε. Κ δίπλα στο μπαρ μουσική μέχρι αργά. Ευτυχώς γυρνάγαμε κουρασμένοι κ κοιμόμασταν.

Расположение - топ, в центре автивностей (при этом звуки с улицы ночью не беспокоили, и выспаться не мешали), супер завтраки в ресторане напротив, удобно гулять по Истикляль, до метро минут 10 пешком, до многих достопримечательностей можно дойти пешком. порадовал лифт - после активного дня не подниматься по лестнице. Отзывчивый персонал, готовый помочь со всеми вопросами Не понравился только запах из ванной, что решалось открытыми окнами, в остальном все супер
• Jacqueline (5/5): No volveremos a este hotel - El personal en general muy amable. La ubicación es buena, pero por las noches pueden ser muy ruidosas. El desayuno estuvo muy bien y lo sirven en el restaurante de enfrente. Si vas con maletas pesadas, prepárate para subir la larga y estrecha escalera en la misma entrada del hotel hasta llegar a la recepción, que es un pequeño cuartito con una pequeña ventana y una puerta. En la recepción nunca está nadie. Yo al llegar tuve que salir afuera para que luego dos chicas (eso si, muy amables), que estaban cenando en el restaurante de enfrente (donde también sirven los desayunos) me hicieran el ckeck-in. Al entrar a la habitación, nos dimos cuenta que solo estaban hechas las camas y habían pasado la aspiradora. La habitación y el baño en general estaban SUCIOS. La nevera sucia. Al lado del calentador de agua, habían dos tazas que también estaban usadas y sucias, una con una cucharilla dentro y usada. El baño fué la bomba para nosotras, la ducha sin limpiar, y del baño salía un olor asqueroso de las cañerías que nosotras tuvimos que sellar con cinta aislante para que disminuya el horrendo olor inaguantable, además de tener la ventana del baño siempre abierta (haciendo frío). Tuvimos que pedir que limpien la habitación y de las cuatro noches que estuvimos allí hospedadas, han limpiado solo una vez y fué el último día que dormiríamos allí ya que a la mañana siguiente hacíamos el check-out.

• Viktoriia (6/5): - Удобное расположение Милый и отзывчивый персонал 1. На фото незаметно но сантехника и в целом с/у в достаточно убитом состоянии 2. Очень крутая лестница по которой сложно затащить большой чемодан не говоря уже о колясках и т.д. 3. Об уборке номера надо отдельно просить 4. Завтрак в кафе напротив в целом вкусный но однообразный (большая тарелка : огурец, помидоры, варёное яйцо, хлебушек, мёд, варенье и много сыра, оливки), только чай включён, кофе за отдельную плату. И поскольку это кафе , то в приоритете обслуживают обычных посетителей. Так один раз ждали больше 20 минут. 5. Если вы рано ложитесь спать и чувствительны к постороннем звукам, учтите что из соседнего паба до 12 ночи достаточно громко (но в районе Истикляль так почти везде)

• Fatmah (7/5): Nice & cozy - Best location, all attractions are close within walking distance, the breakfast served in the restaurant out side the hotel at Ada cafe bookstore which was nice and cozy, the staff were nice and helpful There was no access to the hotel entrance door from the street directly, we had to walk with our bags 1-2 minutes to reach the door which was about 5 steps up, then you have to carry the bags again about one floor to reach our room, the elevator was too small, the closet in the room was to high, you need a ladder to hang your cloth ( we used the chair ), the noise outside was a bit annoying if you are sensitive, but still it was nice and worth the money.
• Behnia (1/5): - Location Støj fra nærliggende klubber eller barer om natten. Receptionen ikke altid bemandet, hvilket kan give problemer ved behov for assistance. Afvigelser mellem de beskrevne faciliteter og de faktiske forhold, f.eks. manglende have eller støjisolering.
• Bojan (9/5): - Clean, very comfortable room (especialy for Istanbul) on perfect location. AC working very well. Breakfast was delocious, we have on mind it is not 5* hotel. Easy and fast check in/out. Little bit noise at night, but is normal for this region in center of city. Nice, clean and cool restorant where they serving breakfast, with realy nice food. Very good value for money. Breakfast start at 9AM, on my opinion that is late. Good and fresh products on the breakfast, but wather and coffe is not included, you need to pay that extra. When we came for drink in evening, they pripare the closing restorant 45min before closing time. Somethimes there was some bad smell in bathroom.
• Claudia (8/5): posizione perfetta!!! ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo - struttura posizionata in una traversa della Istaklal Caddesi, a due passi dalla fermata Shishane della linea verde della metro M2, ha una posizione perfetta per chi sceglie di soggiornare nel vivace e bellissimo quartiere di Beyoglu. Camera grande e pulita e colazione abbondante e varia da fruire nel ristorante di fronte. Chi gestisce e il personale (anche del ristorante) molto disponibili e cordiali. Il bagno necessita una sistemazione (piatto doccia rotto e punti di ruggine) e la mattina rilascia odore di fogna (pare sia una caratteristica delle strutture della zona). Basta uscire dalla stanza e godersi la città e il cattivo odore non si sente più.

What truly made the experience stand out was the exceptional service provided by the manager, Mert—professional, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast was also outstanding, offering a delicious and varied selection that exceeded expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Istanbul! Stairs (if you are afraid of elevator).

• Christopher (9/5): Small flaws, but huge upside. Unbeatable value! - The location is about as good as it gets for walking around the most desirable parts of Istanbul old city center. Rooms are modern, freshly renovated, with good mattresses. Bathroom has nice modern fixtures, wifi is fast and reliable, and the mini fridge is a nice touch too, especially for the price. Ada restaurant next door is owned by the same people and is excellent in every way. Yes, there is some audible latenight club music, but nothing that can't be masked by turning the air conditioner fan on high. Also, the water pressure in the shower can fluctuate, but I found this to be less of a problem by showering at "off peak" times of day. There is a mild lingering sewage odor in the bathroom, but this too is to be expected in the oldest part of a literally ancient city like Constantinople (aka Istanbul).

The location was fantastic - just steps away from a historic street, making it easy to explore the city’s rich culture and attractions. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations or any requests. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. • Pablo Juan (10/5): La mejor elección del viaje - El hotel está MUY bien ubicado, en plena calle principal de las tiendas (Istiklal) y justo al lado de Pera (Beyoğlu) que es la zona de salir, esto hace que alrededor haya muchísima vida durante el día y durante la noche, lo cuál da mucha seguridad para volver al hotel a cualquier hora. Si estáis dudando en qué barrio alojaros, os recomiendo precisamente esta zona de Gálata (por encima de Sultanahmet) ya que es una zona cuidada y con mucha vida de todo tipo. La habitación muy limpia, amplia, luminosa y acogedora. El desayuno espectacular, empiezan a sacar platos pequeñitos y te montan un buffet en tu propia mesa. Y lo más importante de todo: la atención de Mert, el chico encargado del hotel, que nos invitó al llegar a un té y unos zumos y se sentó con nosotros un buen rato a explicarnos y apuntarnos con papel y boli todos los sitios que visitar y algunos sitios buenos (no turísticos) donde comer comida local. Estuvo pendiente de que todo estuviese bien durante toda nuestra estancia. Nada

• Sophie (9/5): Très bon séjour - L'hôtel est très bien situé dans un quartier animé. L'accueil est chaleureux. Mert a été très disponible pour nous renseigner et s'est occupé de notre transfert vers l'aéroport pour le retour. Les chambres sont très propres et très confortables. Et le petit-déjeuner est exceptionnel ! Très bon et copieux. C'était un très bon séjour.

• Алексей (9/5): Отличный отель для недлительного проживания - В целом все устроило. В номере есть все необходимое. Гостиница недалеко от метро. Найти не сложно (гугл карты в помощ). Персонал отзывчивый, готов быстро придти на помощь при возникновении проблем. Есть wifi. Есть даже лифт. Без ложки дегтя не обошлось конечно. Первое, рядом долго долбит музыка, кто чувствительный, не заснуть. В номере без кондиционера в режиме на обогрев (март), очень холодно. Wifi не всегда стабилен. И отдельная песня с включенным завтраком. Мне вообще не пончтно по какому принципу он выдается. Блюда меняются от количества людей. При чем чем больше,тем лучше. К примеру если ты один вам дадут просто вареное яйцо, если 2-3 уже будет глазунья. И количество яиц не делится на количество людей. Одноиу не дают жаренные сосиьки и колбасы,сгущенку и шоколадную пасту и тп. А вот 2-3 дают. Нас было трое и пробовали садиться по разному. Пооная фигня, наведите товарищи порядок, еда должна быть одинаковая для всех!
• Raquel (10/5): Café da manhã maravilhoso, nos sentimos mto bem! - A localizai é ótima, e o café da manhã servido no restaurante ao lado é maravilhoso!!! Mert no indicou lugares para ir e nos ajudou sempre que precisamos! Além disso, quando nosso voo foi cancelado pra Capadócia por conta da neve e teve que ser alterado, Mert nos deu um suporte muito importante para conseguirmos ajustar o transfer e outra diária!
• Έλενα (10/5): - A very nice hotel. Big room with big bed. Beautiful bathroom. There is a lot of space for your things and it makes it so comfortable. With closed windows it's very quite although it's next to istiklal. A bad smell in the bathroom but I think it's a problem in Istanbul in general, because they told me the same about another hotel.

• Diana (8/5): Excelente host y ubicación - Nos encantó la atención de Mert, estuvo siempre super pendiente de cualquier cosa que necesitáramos y nos ofreció ayuda para cualquier duda sobre Estambul. El desayuno es muy completo, típico turco, y la ubicación es ideal, queda cerca a varios restaurantes, comercios y al lado de la calle Istiklal. Los baños olían un poco a cañería y había humedad. Sin embargo, Mert estuvo abierto y con muy buena disposición para resolver los detalles.
