Comfortable beds & whilst the price you pay for it's convenient location with the noise of the city, the host supplies earplugs & we slept well. Great Italian breakfast. Would stay again if coming to Naples

• Karen (9/5): Great Stay - Very convenient to the train station (less than a 5 min walk), and convenient to popular attractions. Room was comfortable and clean. Tasty breakfast in the privacy of our room was perfect!! Although our room didn't have a balcony, in future bookings I would make sure to secure a balcony room. Mini frig with affordable sundries was nice for late night. We found the price point attractive. The host was gracious and arranged a taxi for us to the port. At first walking through all the access doors was a little tricky, but we finally got a good flow.

• Chantal Josephine (9/5): Zusammengefasst hat für uns alles gepasst und wir würden die Unterkunft immer wieder buchen. - Zentral gelegen. Sehr sauber. Gemütliches Bett. Manchmal war der Straßenlärm etwas störend, zumal in Italien der Verkehr durch Hupen geregelt wird. Dafür lagen aber Ohropax bereit.

Исторический центр тоже в пешей доступности, мы все посмотрели самостоятельно.Рядом с апартаментами прелестный ресторанчик, невероятно вкусно. Отдельно про апартаменты: Спасибо большое Алессандро, очень радушный хозяин! Все очень чисто, постель и белье шикарное, душ хороший , ремонт свежий, тепло (кондиционер работал на тепло), есть балкон. Завтраки великолепные- круассаны свежайшие и вкуснейшие, кофе капучино - все, как мы любим, в больших чашках, даже не ожидали! Уборка каждый день, полотенца меняли каждый день. Так как Неаполь- город неспокойный , апартаменты за семью замками и дверьми- тоже плюс, чувствуешь себя в безопасности. Все супер, спасибо большое Алессандро!

Bella la struttura e la camera spaziosa e pulitissima. Staff gentile e accogliente. In mezzo al traffico e al rumore, anche se, con le finestre ben chiuse, abbiamo dormito bene.

• Dawn (9/5): Great value in a very convenient area of Naples. - The interior of the property was excellent, it appears to have been recently remodeled. The rooms are just as they appear in the pictures. The area surrounding the property is a little rough, but no worse than the rest of Naples. You feel very safe once you’re inside the building. The rooms were quite comfortable and included a nice breakfast.

El cuarto estaba perfecto, la cama comodísima, todo súper limpio, el aire acondicionado funcionando al 100, y nada de ruido, a pesar de estar en una ubicación súper céntrica: de verdad nos encantó. Encima de todo, tuve un incidente en el que olvidé mi cartera en la taquilla de un ferry, y como ahí adentro estaba la llave/tarjeta del hotel, la señorita de la taquilla marcó al hotel y se comunicó con Alessandro, quien se tomó la molestia de ir a recogerla y llevármela al hotel. Fueron increíblemente amables y nos resolvieron una situación que de otra manera, probablemente se hubiera tornado muy estresante para nosotros. Estoy profundamente agradecida con Alessandro y con todo el staff. De nuevo muchas muchas gracias!! 🙏 Nada, todo perfecto.

• Eleonora (10/5): Sono stata a Napoli diverse volte, questa struttura è veramente accogliente e la camera davvero bella - Camera ampia, molto accogliente, ben arredata. Davvero bella. Host gentilissimo. La struttura è vicino a mezzi pubblici e stazione , si raggiunge il centro facilmente a piedi, tutto il resto di Napoli con metropolitana e mezzi pubblici. Un angolo delizioso di Napoli

En elevator som taget ud af en gammel film fører op til hoveddøren. Indenfor er alt lækkert og skinnende rent. Morgenmad efter eget valg fra en menu. Det var nem og hurtig kommunikation med værten Allessandro. God beliggenhed ift station og seværdigheder. Kun lidt gadestøj når døren er lukket. Jeg ville vælge det igen.

• Vittoria (10/5): Safe and sound - Our stay started off with us not being able to find our way from the bus station and Alessandro was so kind to meet us at the piazza to accompany us to his B&B. As soon as we entered the apartment we instantly felt at home, safe and sound. The apartment and the rooms were super clean and soundproof with a balcony. The bed comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. Thank you Alessandro for your hospitality.

• Junior (10/5): a 2 passi dalla stazione - A pochi metri dalla stazione centrale di Napoli si trova questo grazioso gioiello in un elegante palazzo storico al secondo piano, con ancora un ascensore in legno come quelli di una volta. La camera è ampia, arredata con gusto, con smart tv ed ampia doccia. Affaccio su strada e colazione a scelta servita in camera o nello spazio in comune. Alessandro sa come rendere speciale il tuo spggiono.

• sandyll0yd (4/5): Not a hotel - This is a B&B, not a hotel, as advertised. We arrived from the train station late afternoon, dropped at a brown door on the street. It was locke. We buzzed and nothing. A resident of the building let us in, but still no access to the rooms. We called Alessandro and he was able to remotely let us in. 2 young check in staff came 2 hours later. The next day we had a tour booked. There was no flexibility about the time for breakfast, so we missed it. Had breakfast of fresh pastries the next 2 days. The room itself was okay, mostly clean, but not properly swept (dust in corners and at bottom of nightstands). The street below is very noisy- earplugs are supplied. Alessandro said he likes to enrich guest experience during breakfast, but we found he sat and looked at his phone. If you book this place, make sure they know your arrival time.

It is also a perfect place to discover Naples and the surrounding area from as it is close to the old city and the main transport hub. Easy to get to both Herculaneum and Pompeii by the local versuvio train.

• dave (10/5): - Very close to the Metro Station and Train station, but the surrounding properties can be very dirty and redown. Our property was located in what looks like a rundown street, and entering the bldg. you must enter thru a very large wooden double door, and you enter a hallway, that may or may not have a security guard stationed. Then must go thru another security gate to access the stairs with one elevator. The hotel is located on the 3rd floor, but once you go thru their security door, you walk into a very clean modern reception area/breakfast room. Our room was very clean and updated. Large bedroom, closet and large bathroom. We were also located on a street side with balcony. Very noisy street, but once you closed the thick pane double doors, there was no noise and we had blackout curtains. We had no issues our entire stay, and were very happy with the accommodations. The staff were very helpful and assisted with all our requests and questions. Would definitely stay again. There were lots of restaurants and eateries to choose from within very short walking distance.

• Priscila (5/5): Terrible check in experience - Rooms have been renovated, they look new. Location: close to the railway station, so it’s convenient, but be advised it’s a rough neighborhood. The only reason to stay here is if you’re on a budget and need to be close to the trains. Despite exchanging Whatsapp messages with Alessandro to confirm my arrival time, when I arrived at the time I said I would arrive, no one answered the doorbell. The rooms are located in a multi-family building, so you have to get through 2 gates. I was left outside, buzzing and ringing and trying to call Alessandro for about 15 minutes. I am a female and was alone, with luggage, outside on the street in a rough neighborhood. Alessandro never picked up my calls, nor did he read my messages until much later on. Finally, a nice elderly neighbor let me into the building, but I still could not get into the hotel. Alessandro never picked up my calls, but when the nice neighbor called him, he picked up straight away! Then he acted annoyed, like it was my fault. Terrible experience.

• David (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay in central Naples. - Relais del Priciple is very close to the station and transport links into the city and port. It is also close to historic back streets which were full of life. The room was clean and comfortable and had good sound proofing against any city noise. The staff were very welcoming and friendly giving a good breakfast including gluten free options. The hotel does not have its own entry and required access through a locked door of a bigger block and a lift to the second floor, but once we had the access card entry and exit was easy.

We informed them of approximate time of arrival 2 pm in a text to the owner but he said if he had known of time of arrival, he would have given the sparkling wine. He promised to give the day of our departure but never did.. The location is so -so and we were at a loss how to get there since there were no instructions of using the antiquated lift to the 2nd flr. We’re it not for concerned neighbors, we wouldn’t have known where to go in the building!!!

• Marnie (10/5): Wonderful hotel near the historic Naples center. It's like stepping back in time. Lovely room!!!! - Great hotel in Naples. Near the bus station and easy access from the airport. Wonderful helpful host who provided countless information about the city!!! Area is bustling with dinning options, shopping and is a stones through from the historic center. Great breakfast!!! Minibar!!! Host provided information about day trips, excursions and was always available for questions!!! And friendly other travelers. Room was fantastic with old world charm, clean and a great balcony to watch this vibrant city. HIGHLY recommend for the value and it's nice to be a big adjacent to the very busy historic center!!! It will be my go to hotel moving forward in Naples. Loved my stay!!! I loved everything!! No complaints whatsoever. The area is busy, but the windows block out the sound so sleeping was no problem.
• Per (10/5): Utmärkt sovplats - Utmärkt läge nära tågstationen och gamla stan. Mycket snyggt och rent. Bra ljudisolerat. Bra säng. Den trafikerade gatan utanför hördes inte mycket. Frukost med sötsaker. Ett mycket bra rum dig som bara vill ha en skön nattsömn, men inte mer på hotellet. Alessandro var trevlig och hjälpsam.

• Carla (10/5): Don’t Miss a Stay Here - Our stay was wonderful! Loved our accommodations. Alessandro was so welcoming. The room was beautiful, super clean and all services provided. The breakfast was very impressive. I would highly recommend Relais del Principe to any traveler that wants to experience true Italian hospitality.
• Timothy (8/5): - Need glass or china cups and some cutlery. I got yogurt and there was no spoon. A few paper cups are provided but I needed one for yogurt (bought family size). Continental Breakfast was good. Pickpockets abound outside stealing cell phones, wallets, etc. there are many convenient places around to buy used or older model cell phones. I think the robbers work with cell phone shop owners to get business. Hotel itself is nice with secret door sort of, and an old elevator which requires 10c on some days but not others. No concierge on site. Needed a few more towels but these are not dealt with daily. Balcony was nice overlooking street. High ceilings. We could not find a good restaurant nearby, mostly street display cases of not so fresh pastries or pizza. Spanish quarter Cicci fri had fab pizza for 5 euro 12”.

• Ilona (9/5): Superb - Alessandro was so helpful with everything, we are really thankful for that. He recommended us places, where the best traditional pizzas are, helped us to rent a car, also booked a taxi for our arrival at the airport and for our departure early in the morning. The location was not the best, because at some times we did not feel very safe in the evening, when we went home. I would say, that safety was like 7/10 - not really dangerous, but did not feel super comfortable as well.
• Simon (9/5): Handy location and lovely room. - Great breakfast choices. We arrived late at night after flight delay so had trouble locating the entrance but was quickly resolved by phoning the owner who is a lovely gentleman.
