• Samet (10/5): Kısa bir tatil - Herşey iyiydi çok.fazla bir beklentiyle gitmedik temiz ve derli topluydu odalar. Herşey çalışıyordu.btek istegim tarife göre gittik ama tabela aradık aparman numarası ve ismin sadece zilde yazdığı belietilseydi daha hızlı bulabilirdik. Ama iletişime geçtiğimiz kisiler hızlı cevap veriyordu.
• Thu (6/5): - The location was good and quiet, but the facility was not. We arrived in our room to find a broken toilet seat, a ceiling pendant light hanging only by a screw, and a shower panel in poor condition. Hope they fix before someone else use it.
• Dave (10/5): Hidden gem, great location - Absolutely no regrets. I was a little worried about other’s reviews but having been to Italy a number of times this is a very normal accommodation. The neighbourhood is great and we walked to most everything except the vatican. The price was fantastic and the room was quiet. Thank you.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good and cheap place to sleep when travelling - I stayed 1 night, for the price, the place is fine, you have a room to sleep, and it's clean. It's not a 5 star hotel, you get what you pay for. I was worried due to other reviews, but if you are looking for a place to sleep and have a private bathroom, the place is good. I was given the codes to check in before my arrival. The only thing a faced is that there's no phone signal or Internet in the room. But other than that, it was really fine for the price and the communication with the host was good and helpful.
• Alex (8/5): - We got lucky and another person staying there let us inside so we could call for a check-in. Without them, who knows how long we'd be stuck outside. The area around is sketchy AF but that's not their fault, just be aware. The room was fine, did the job and had met our needs. The room was in need of some basic repairs but nothjng major.

• Kathleen (6/5): STAY AWAY FROM HERE. - I can't believe Hotels.com actually lists this hotel. Take it off the website. Service is non-existent. Someone else stated that there is no reception. This is still true. There was a lady next door, spoke no English, that gave us the code to the "what" was the hotel. There are 5 rooms, no way to tell which is yours as there's no one to greet you. A cleaning lady came in a few hours later, again spoke no English. She contacted the owner and got us into the correct room. After we had the right room, the stay was pleasant.
• Emma (10/5): Great little place - Basic but perfect for what I wanted. Clean and simple while being comfortable. Just make sure you have the WhatsApp number before you go as if you arrive late it could be a little awkward to get in. Restaurant and gelato place nearby are excellent too.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Atención con la hora de llegada al apartamento - Las habitaciones son de un particular. Sobretodo a tener en cuenta, no llegar en el apartamento después de las 19:00h de la tarde. Nosotros no lo sabiamos y la primera respuesta fue, que si llegavamos más tarde no nos devolverian el dinero y no podriamos entrar a dormir. Por suerte, buscaron una solución y pudimos ir a dormir. Así, que si teneis que llegar tarde, preguntad antes a los anquilionos si es viable. Las habiataciones estan a un cuarto piso sin acensor pero la parte buena fue, que la habitación estaba muy limpia, era muy bonita y la habitacion que nos dieron tenia unas vistas increïbles. Nos encanto estar unos dias ahi.
• Sherry (8/5): - The hotel was in the middle of town in a great area. The room itself was efficient, however, there were some problems with the electrical and with flooding from the wall in the bathroom when taking a shower. It is a good place to stay if you need an economical stay.
• Charley (2/5): Don’t bother!! - Honestly, if you’re thinking about booking, think again… we were in room 1. As soon as we walked in the room, the smell of mould hit you worse than stepping off a plane and the heat slapping you in the face. The smell was so over whelming! At first I couldn’t see any, and I looked everywhere! I opened the windows and went out for a few hours hoping the smell would go. When I came back the mould was starting to become visible, it must have been wiped down before we got there. I could barely sleep the smell was so over powering. Day 2 I cried and really didn’t want to go back.. the mould was starting to show and it was everywhere! I tried reaching out to the property for a refund so we could afford to book another hotel, but they ignored my messages and we had no choice but to stay. I bought our own cleaning products, LOTS of air freshener and kept the windows open and all times with the bathroom door shut. This slightly helped but honestly was the worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in! We spend as little time as possible in the room. The only good thing was location wise - around 20 minute walk to most things. If you’re reading this Popolo - I want a refund!!!

La douche n’était pas propre et elle avait un faible débit d’eau. Impossible de se laver les cheveux. Le siège de toilette était brisé. Peu d’insonorisation. Nous entendons le cadran de la chambre voisine.
• ALANE (2/5): - There was a paper on door to the room with 2 phone numbers to call. No one answered. 3 of us tried several times. We had to quickly find another room for 1 night elsewhere and paid double. We could not get into room. Days later in e-mail I received info with code to get in. MAD!! They could have sent it days in advance. After my 16 day Italy trip aI will fight this charge. It was not even a hotel. It was someone renting out their room and they called it a hotel

• Alfio (4/5): - Non volevo lasciare alcuna recensione ma siccome insistono con le email, mi hanno costretto. Tutto bellissimo codici sottocodici per entrare ma arrivi all'interno e il castello casca in un istante (almeno per quanto riguarda la stanza 4). Umidità a grappolo e cattivo odore, prese sflilate, buste anti umiditò nell'armadio pronte a bagnare tutto, coperte macchiate. Per una notte (10 ore) si può soprassedere visto il prezzo.
• Francesca (4/5): - Purtroppo è una struttura con problemi di umidità e si sente il tanfo di muffa, la doccia a muro ha perso acqua, la porta di ingresso con codice è difettosa e non apre facilmente. Colazione non possibile in quanto manca proprio un locale.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Moyen - Le Popolo Relax fonctionne comme une maison d'hôtes avec une arrivée autonome. Le personnel est joignable via WhatsApp et envoie les indications concernant l'arrivée par sms mais aucune indications concernant la sortie... Même après la sortie... Le lit est confortable, la chambre est petite mais cela suffit pour un couple qui passe le week-end à Rome. Cependant, cette dernière n'est pas très propre (infiltrations dans les murs, peintures égratignée, présence forte de calcaire et d'infiltrations dans la salle de bain, tâches sur les draps, serviettes de bains trouées...) Cet établissement est assez excentrée des attractions touristiques mais la marche reste réalisable.

Cuando pasan a limpiar otras habitaciones, el ruido es infernal y además la habitación huele mucho a humedad, la ducha es horrible, no hay siquiera una cortina que cubra toda la superficie, el lavabo prácticamente suelto
• Luz (2/5): - This place is a scam. It is not safe - our room was full of black mold! Everywhere, on the ceiling, the walls, the shower, the furniture. It is so hard to breath in this place it’s a health hazard! And the property is well aware of this issues because there was a humidifier so it shows that they know this place is full of mold. The pictures and description does not match the property. There was no one to talk to, no one to check in. We had to buy our own toilet paper! I cannot believe Expedia would have this listed on their website! I want a refund! I would have never stayed here if the pictures were accurate.
• Véronique (6/5): - La chambre est refaite et très propre, même s'il ya des choses un peu de bric et de broc. Le souci : impossible de joindre qui que ce soit avant d'arriver, et on vous envoie les modalités d'accès le jour même à 13h par mail (= j'ai eu les info quand j'étais devant la porte !). Gros stress ! La porte est celle d'un immeuble, on entre avec des codes et on ne voit personne. Il vaut mieux être prévenu ! Il y a 6 ou 7 chambres en rez-de-chaussée. La chambre est faite tous les jours.
• Abigael Adedayo (2/5): - The staff were unprofessional. The codes to my room were shared with a taxi driver because it's free to send to the taxi driver's phone rather than sending the codes to my phone because they will be charged. Hence I could not stay in the hotel my first night.
• Chun-Mei (6/5): - Good thing about this place is the quietness, you will have a good night sleep. Bad things: There is no Hotel sign at all, extremely hard to find it and there was not much help from staff.

• Mark (4/5): In need of repair - The shower had mold in it, the ceiling above bed had mold, the shower did not drain, at the end of a quick shower there was 2 inches of standing water in it. The TV had no stations. The walls were beat up, if there was something else available we would have left. The area is cute around it.
• Laetitia (6/5): - This is a good property if you are traveling on a budget. Convenient location and about 8min walk to Metro and 20min walk to Trevi Fountain. Faculties in room a bit run down and really just a place to sleep for the night. They were kind enough for me to leave my suitcase there after Check-out to explore the city, which was a great plus. You do not meet anybody, as not a normal hotel; they will send you codes of how to gain access to the rooms etc, so no room key. So need to have WhatsApp.
• Christine (4/5): - First this is an apartment building with a section for rooms to rent. We arrived and there was no one to greet us. One of the residents had to contact the owner since they were not answering our calls. We finally get into our room, which was adequate. The next day we arrive back to our room and the code to get in was changed. Once again, the owner was not responding to anyone’s calls. The location isn’t ideal and the room was small but for the price that’s expected. The service however was inexcusable.
• Laura (6/5): Not so good - the bed is very dirty, old and torn. bed linen and towels were not washed properly, caused an allergy. the entire apartment is old and requires repair. the shower in the bathroom barely works and there is mold. At 6 in the morning, the workers are banging on the door as they vacuum the premises. every day someone comes in and cleans the room without asking. we were not happy.

• Michael (6/5): - Det har intet med et hotel at gøre, men nærmere privatudlejlning. Der var ikke så nemt at finde, og der var ingen reception. Værelset var meget slidt generelt, og fler ting i lejligheden var defekte. Det var dyrt i forhold til stand og beliggenhed.
• Sara (6/5): - È stata difficile da trovare ma grazie alla receptionist disponibilissima ce l’abbiamo fatta. Molto comodo il check in con i codici. Stanza non grandissima ma comunque carina. Durante la notte abbiamo sentito bambini piangere e la porta sbattere. A parte questo il letto era comodo e abbiamo dormito bene. La doccia però era rotta.

• Diana (8/5): - It was a nice hotel. The room was small but neat and had everything we needed. We got the code to enter the hotel by text message which worked really well. There is a bus stop around the corner which makes it really easy to get around. The area feels safe to walk around also late at night. I'll definitely come back next time I go to Rome.

"No One available" apparently. Can't comment on facilities or cleanliness but their unhelpful, inflexible approach would make me extremely cautious about booking here. They also lied to me about a refund. AVOID!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Trato nefasto - Si tienes algún problema en la habitación y preguntas, te van a contestar q si no te parece bien te hubieras ido a un hotel que cueste 100€ la noche, que no te puedes quejar, ya que para ell@s 35€ la noche no es tanto, que como tienen vida privada no te pueden ayudar...Y como no funcionaba el jacuzzi que utilizaramos la ducha, cuando lo único que llama la atención de esa habitación es la bañera. O por lo menos eso es lo que me pasó a mi.. Después lo solucionaron, (acusando de tocar aparatos electronicos de ell@s) pero vaya contestación!! Presumen de buen precio y después te saltan con esas palabras... No aconsejo para nada el hotel, sobretodo, me reitero, por el trato nefasto... Y la habitación tampoco es impresionante, ni si quiera hay ventana que puedas abrir porque es interior. Hay otros hoteles que merecen mucho más la pena en Roma.. Por supuesto jamás volveré a este hotel.
