The room was very clean but really small. It was ok for one night but more than that would be difficult. Overall loved the location! It was in a beautiful area with so many wonderful sidewalk cafes!

- Marilyn (10/5): The Roman experience - This is the place if you want to experience the true Rome in an apartment in what must be one of the busiest places in central Rome. Its very exciting. Easy walking to all the main attractions. There is no reception so check in is all electronic which is fairly easy to navigate even for non tech savvy like us. There are dozens of restaurants nearly and sits above the third most highly rated gelato shop in Rome.
- Susan (10/5): Great spot to tour the ancient Roman sights. - Burg Et BIE is a large apartment (divided into separate suites) on the second floor. There is a small elevator. A few stairs are required to access the elevator. The location is very quiet at night after the (very popular) Gelato shop below closes. We appreciated the very comfortable bed! Our host met us at the door and gave lots of information and help. Make sure to load what’s app to contact the host. The location was perfect. Very close to the Parthenon, Parliment and Trevi Fountain.

- Angharad (10/5): Great place to base yourself - Fabulous central location to explore the main centre of Rome (though Giolotti next door stays open til very late so it can be a little noisy). Simone was fantastic at getting in touch beforehand to sort out all the arrangements, and it was great having a key code instead of physical key to worry about losing. Check in was super easy, and we could do it the night before our arrival. Bed was comfy, room and bathroom were really clean, as was the communal area where you can make tea and coffee.

- Ana (8/5): Great location - The guesthouse is more like an air bb. We had no physical contact with the owners. It was all done via WhatsApp. The day before arrival they contacted me with the details for a self check in. If you book with them make sure you send them a separate WhatsApp as the messaging service within the app (in my case Hotes.com) didn’t work very well. But via WhatsApp it was flawless. They organised breakfast for us as well as airport transfers. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. The road is really loud but the window a double glazed so no noise once you close them. The location was great. We walked everywhere. And it’s right next door to a great gelato. If I ever go back I’ll definite stay again
- Verified traveler (6/5): No sleep - The guesthouse was clean, centrally located, in good condition, and the staff was very responsive. The only downside of this is that the room is located directly above a well known gelato restaurant and the street is blocked off so people are out there and very LOUD! And very late. Even with the windows closed and the air on you could hear individual conversations. We got little to no sleep the entire three nights we were there.

- Michelle (10/5): Location, Location, Location! - The location of this hotel is fantastic! Within walking distance to a lot of major Roman landmarks - Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Via del Corso, and a mile to the Vatican. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and relatively quiet. The only comment I would have is that at night the stairs and hallways are unlit and very dark to navigate. Otherwise we would have no qualms in recommending it to others.

- Hollie (10/5): - We had a really great time in Rome and a large part of it was staying here. There isn’t a reception. It’s self check in via pin pads which we were really happy about. Very convenient. Parking wasn’t easily but that does not fall of staying here. Just beware you can’t park on site. There are parking lots in the area you just have to find a spot. Also you cannot pull up directing to the place. There are barricades 50’ away from the door. We unloaded right at the barricade and my husband went to find parking. Everything is in walking distance. Really great location. Extremely clean and modern. Everyday we came back and the room looked picture perfect. Would absolutely stay again. (Don’t waste time at the gelato place next door. Tourist trap. Go to Frigidarium)

Det var nydelig beliggenhet, og fine omgivelser både inne og ute. Det flaskevannet de skrøt av, så vi ingenting til. Felles kjøleskap ute i fellesareal. Kjøpte inn selv. Lytt! Vi sov dårlig 2 av 3 netter grunnet støy.

- Massimo (10/5): Semplicemente ECCEZIONALE!!! - Soggiorno a dir poco fantastico! La struttura si trova accanto al famoso bar Giolitti, camere ben arredate, bagno nuovissimo con sanitari di design. Letto molto comodo, lenzuola pulite e profumate, con 3 cuscini di varie misure a propria disposizione, climatizzatore centralizzato molto efficiente, Abbiamo inoltre usufruito di un buono per fare colazione al bar Giolitti. Merita un 10 e lode sia la struttura che il gestore, Simone, ragazzo molto attento e preciso, che ha saputo soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta e/o esigenza. Per il nostro prossimo viaggio a Roma torneremo senza dubbio! Complimenti!
