• Vicolkapp4 (4/5): One of the worst places we've stayed in. - Worst location, loud and dirty. Marijuana smokers everywhere. Graffiti and traffic were awful. To get to your room is an ordeal and a half having to coordinate by whats-up every minute of your trip, from arrival time to time to pick up and drop off your car and also give them an exact check out time. The building where the hotel is, is difficult to navigate to get to the reception (floor 1 1/2), the elevator only goes to floor 2, then you have to take back down to floor 1, get out of the elevator and walk the stairs 1/2 floor to the reception, which with bags it's extremely challenging. The rooms are on Floor 5, so after checking in, one has to go up by stairs 1/2 floor to get on the elevator, then take the elevator to floor 5 and walk down 1/2 floor stairs to the floor where all the rooms for the hotel are... Difficult is an understatement. lol. Parking is so challenging and expensive and the traffic and loudness of this location made our stay in Naples (which is already dirty and loud) our least place to recommend.
• C5174MYdanielk (10/5): Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Naples! - We spent four nights at the Hotel Dimora Duomo and enjoyed our stay from the very first moment. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and even received an upgrade from a room on the 1st floor to a beautiful one on the 5th floor – with a lovely view over the city! The room was modern, impeccably maintained, and looked exactly like the photos – stylishly furnished with a modern and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the historic charm of the building. The hotel is located in close proximity to the historic city center, making it easy to explore all major sights on foot. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and it was pleasantly quiet, even though the hotel is right in the center. A hairdryer, shower gel, soap, and fresh towels were provided daily – everything was spotless and well prepared. The breakfast served to the room each morning was a wonderful touch and a perfect start to the day. Every staff member we met was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful, making us feel truly welcome and cared for. A special thanks to Marco, who helped us arrange and book a fantastic pizza-making class right when we arrived – it was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip! On our last day, we were also able to store our luggage for a few extra hours, which was really convenient. We can highly recommend the Hotel Dimora Duomo and would love to stay here again on our next visit to Naples!

• ginamA5836GD (10/5): Excellent Accommodations at Dimora Duomo - The staff were friendly and very helpful. Check-in and Check-out was easy and the staff took the time to show us to our room. The staff arranged for a personal driver to pick us up at the airport. The room was very clean. The hotel is in a central location. Property is very secure. The price for the room is very reasonable and worth the price. The hotel communicated frequently to ensure that we had everything we needed.

They provided a beautiful breakfast and free coffee in the room. it's within walking distance to the old town center as well as the coastline, and while it's a smaller boutique hotel it was the nicest of the 3 places we stayed at within Venice, Rome and then Naples!

The staff was so helpful and the breakfast was really good, timely and well done. Marco at the front desk was super accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again! The location was within walking distance of absolutely everything we wanted to see. Great central location!
• JenniferLynn (8/5): Good lcoation - spacious room - We just returned from four night at Dimora. Location-wise - it's in a good location. It is walking distance from the Naples main train station - HOWEVER - if you have luggage, do not try to walk it fully b/c Naples is full of cobblestone sidewalks. It was not fun. We found it just easiest to call a Uber/cab for the luggage days. I felt completely safe in the area and it was walking distance to many sites / restaurants. The hotel has an elevator - sort of. It barely fits two people and being claustrophobic, I rarely took it and instead just did the stairs. Sadly - we were on the 5th floor - so 200 steps up or down! In terms of the room - we had a deluxe double and it was quite large - plenty of room inside and in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable - and great water pressure in the shower (compared to the US). A few quirks - you must have the key in the lock to have power. That means, when you're gone for the day, the A/C is off. And it takes 3-4 min of having power before A/C kicks in. For the shower (and this is true in Italy in general) - there is no Hair Conditioner or Lotion. Be sure to bring your own as I went to several stores in Naples/Rome and there is no conditioner to be found. For breakfast - you order it the night before and they bring it to your room at a set time. True - they don't start until 7:30 but for two of the mornings where we had early tours - we wrote on the card to bring first thing and they had it there by 7:15 am both mornings. That was so appreciated! Overall - great hotel / great location. Extremely clean and would recommend it.

• luv2traveln0w (10/5): Excellent place after a long flight - DD was a perfect hotel for a night after our long transatlantic flight. Marco was an excellent communicator, easily reached by WhatsApp. He arranged airport pickup which was a better value for the four of us than taxis. The “hotel” is a series of rooms on different floors served by an elevator. They had everything we needed and were quiet. Breakfast is delivered to the room, there were decent choices. Upon checkout we were able to store our bags for a few hours while we explored Naples.

• katehV8956IS (10/5): Excellent accommodations in great location near historic city center. - The rooms were modern, spacious and exceptionally clean set within an old building - which added to its charm. We had a room on the 5th floor with windows on two sides that overlooked a street, small piazza and rooftops - great urban views. Being from the american south, air conditioning ĺs important to us and the mini split in the room provided excellent air conditioned comfort in the naples heat. We added breakfast when we booked the room reservation (reasonable add on price) and it was brought to our room. It was delicious and a great way to start the day. The hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent and we could walk to many places in the historic city center. We highly recommend and would stay here again.
• William (10/5): - Everything was wonderful for my week long stay in Napoli at Dimora Duomo. The location is perfect for exploring the city. Breakfast each day was a perfect start to the day. My room was large with high ceiling, excellent air conditioning, a small kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. Check in was smooth and entering / exiting the property was easy. I will look to stay here again on my next visit to Napoli.

• 56charmainm (10/5): No need for any more research - Dimora Duomo checks all the boxes! - We absolutely loved our stay at Dimora Duomo! The location could not have been more perfect—right in the heart of the historic center, just steps from great restaurants, shops and all the sights. It’s also very convenient to the airport and train station which made getting to Pompeii super easy. The rooms were spotless, modern, and beautifully done. Breakfast was delivered to our room each morning with lots of options. It was such a treat to sit with the balcony doors open, sipping a cappuccino while watching the city wake up. What really made our stay special was the hospitality. Marco was an outstanding host—always quick to respond to any questions ( I don’t think he sleeps. Haha! ) and so helpful with everything we needed. Lorenzo was equally wonderful—warm, friendly and full of great local knowledge. Thanks to her recommendations, we ate some truly amazing meals, including the best pizza I’ve ever tasted in my life! If you’re visiting Naples, I can’t recommend Dimora Duomo highly enough. Perfect location, comfortable rooms and hosts who go above and beyond—it made our trip unforgettable.

• lonron_trip (10/5): A great place to stay in Naples, Italy - The hotel is centrally located on a main road, within walking distance of the historic center, Spanish Quarter, port, and main station. Set in a historic building, it is not a single hotel complex but offers high security with locked entrances, floor access, and a camera system. My room matched the description: very clean, serviced daily, with a large bed (not the most comfortable but fine), minibar, refrigerator, and effective air conditioning. Noise levels depended on neighbors but were acceptable. Breakfast is ordered via a menu card left on the door by midnight; it always arrived on time, warm, and of decent quality. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful—special thanks to Mr. Caponetti, who provided excellent communication before and during my stay and gave me a great introduction to Naples. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, security, and outstanding service.

• Quest04662559604 (10/5): Great place to stay in lovely Naples! - We loved our sty at Dimora Duomo! The location was great and Naples is so beautiful and full of history. Loved that the hotel is in a very old and beautiful building. Lorenza, from the hotel, met us outside of the hotel our first night and checked us in and gave us lots of helpful tips and info about the city. Marco, from the hotel, was extremely helpful before and during our stay at Dimora Duomo. He is one of the main reasons I wanted to stay here, because I had read about his helpfulness, which was evident by the email I received from him after booking a room there. He is a great source of information and arranged transfers from the train and ferry stations for us, and to the airport. Our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. You select what you would like to eat for breakfast the night before, and it is delivered to your room at the time you select in the morning. The pastries are delicious! There is also fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, etc. I would stay here again, and I cannot wait to return to Naples! Fully renovated room, AC, two balconies, place is walkable to port, Toledo, pretty much all historic landmarks of Naples… we’ve taken a tour to Pompei, they picked us up, within 2 minute walk from the property. Marco used WhatsApp, so if you travel without local cell service- not a problem, WiFi is enough, and he was able to open everything for us remotely, even when no one was around. Breakfast served in the room… I was super happy :)

We were able to walk all over town and really enjoyed the central location. The rooms were clean and more importantly, the AC worked great. • Digcity (10/5): A Great Experience at Dimora Duomo - Dimora Duomo is a very nice small hotel located inside a historic building. Marco is a great host and he greeted us on the sidewalk when we arrived (we engaged a car service through Marco). Upon arrival staff also gave us great dining and attraction suggestions that were within walking distance. We reserved the superior family room for four nights. This corner room had two small balconies with enough space to stand on. We placed our table next to one balcony for happy hour and to experience a small slice of Napoli life (see photo). Overlooking the busy Corso Umberto, traffic can be loud with a door open. It is much quieter with doors closed. The split unit air conditioning was great to have. Since we are addicted to coffee we liked the Dolce Gusto coffee machine in our room. Delicious fresh breakfast was delivered to our room promptly at our desired time. Our visit to Dimora Duomo was pleasant, convenient, and comfortable. We hope to be able to return again soon. (Our first review of Dimora Duomo was somehow lost into the ether and did not appear on TA)
• TravelMoma1 (10/5): Wonderful stay in Napoli! - The staff are fantastic and the accommodations were even better than expected. The location is convenient to the train, port and city along with easy access for taxis. The breakfast is delicious and they can even accommodate food allergies. I would definitely stay here again if in Napoli!
• Buckeyegirl51 (10/5): Great experience - This hotel is a little unconventional as it is in a building with other tenants and spread out on different floors, but don't let that throw you off. The room was not dated but updated and modern and very comfortable. Our experience was very good. The stay comes with breakfast that is delivered to the door promptly when requested and everything we ordered was delicious. Even though we never met him, Marco was super helpful and always available through WhatsApp. He arranged transport both to the hotel and then to the airport at the end of the stay. The location of Dimora Duomo in Naples is very central and within walking distance to the old town area - which is quite eclectic with great pizza!

• davidgJ7079RG (10/5): An idiosyncratic location in an unusual European city - I can't remember how I found this place, but I'm glad I did! It's not a conventional hotel; think of it as a set of serviced rooms in an old, charcterful building close to the heart of Naples. But the clue is in the word 'serviced'. Marco and his team are very customer focussed in a helpful way - no false civility - just a case of making sure your needs are met without fuss. Our room - at the rear of the building - it might be noisier at the Corso Umberto side - was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Everything worked. The in-room breakfast service was on time and generous. As if by magic, the management team were distant but immediately accessible. Nothing was a problem. Not your standard accommodation option - far more characterful and personalised. Yes it's quirky - but look at the rest of the city! If you want vanilla, chances are this isn't your place to be.
• Tcj-Sj (10/5): Wonderful place to stay in Naples - A perfect place to stay, especially for couples seeking high quality accommodation + service. And a premium location, close to the old town tourist precinct + also walking distance to the central train + bus stations. Very modern and comfortable, and Marco is very easy + a pleasure to deal with - from the time we booked months ago, and also during our stay. As were other reception staff + those who served breakfast in our room.
• 231jodiz (6/5): Not your typical hotel but lovely room in great location - This is not a typical hotel. There is limited staff onsite but they are available if you contact them. The doors to the building and hotel are often locked but you are given a key for easy access. The rooms are large, modern and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. And the location is great. The building is historic and dark with an old elevator. Lorenza was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. We appreciated that Marco was able to rearrange our travel at the last minute due to a train strike. We did not enjoy having to have breakfast in the room. The towels and amenities could be upgraded. Overall, the stay was lovely.

Location is great and Marco is easily reachable via WhatsApp. We also loved the breakfast delivered to our room every morning. That’s the best way to start our day in Napoli! The only downside is the noise from nearby construction starting 8:30 in the morning. It’s not an issue for us because we were up by then.
• V5172FTleannep (10/5): Wonderful Experience - We had the best time staying at Dimora Doumo. It was very easy to book via their website. Marco our host was wondeful and couldnt do enough to make our trip to Naples as easy as possible. He contacted us a few days before to ensure we were ready for our stay and arranged our airport pick up and recommended and arranged brilliant places to eat, as well as the most amazing gelato. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely shower! Being able to order breakfast for our room was very easy and there was lots of good choice and being able to chose a time slot to suit us was an added bonus. The apartment was in what appeared to be an old building but it is easy to access and the small lift up offered plenty of laughs and charm. A good location near the station and easy to walk to the meeting point for our excursions to Pompeii, Herculanium and Vesuvius. Breakfast every morning was delivered and had options for all. Highly recommend for extended stays in Naples.

Marco, the manager, was very helpful making us a dinner reservation and calling taxis when needed. The hotel has limited amenities - no Kleenex or bathrobe, only a few towels, no body lotion or hair conditioner. The staff is very nice and we enjoyed our stay.

The reception and room was modern and ultra clean; very well equipped with mini-kitchen and plenty of dishes. Staff was super helpful. Walking distance to so many cool places - historical sites, cute cafes and some of the best pizza places in the city. Plus the subway and train stations are also close by. The room was spacious, super clean, and had that cool mix of modern vibes in a historic building. The bed was comfortable and after a long day of walking around Naples, it was just what I needed. The lady at the front desk and Marco do their best to make sure your needs are met. They gave me great tips on where to eat and what to see. It felt like they really cared about making my stay great and it really showed.

We needed a safe base with comfortable and clean rooms to be able to move around the islands and the coast during the various days and I must say that Dimora Duomo is perfect! Very close to the port we reached Capri very comfortably and thanks to their transfer service we did a truly splendid tour of the Amalfi coast! Thanks to their trained staff and above all always ready to satisfy our every request to organize our little tour! Every morning having a delicious breakfast was all we wanted to start the day well, a real treat. We already miss Dimora Duomo! We can't wait to return to Naples to enjoy a bit of relaxation at Dimora Duomo!

That road isn't the tidiest but a simple walk brings you to the old town with restaurants serving great and inexpensive pizzas etc. Property is in walking distance of two metro stations and the train station. As taxis are so expensive would recommend using them.,

Then when we arrived in the “lobby” a cleaning staff member was present but no one else was behind the desk nor was a common room bathroom available. After 20 hours of travel we were hoping for the use of at least a toilet. Other then that part, I would recommend this hotel to friends

The bathroom was nice, but most importantly, the space was very clean! The accommodation offered a very generous daily breakfast brought to your room. You could choose from MANY options ! What a treat! I definitely recommend this stay for anyone visiting Naples. The location is also very central! Close to the downtown core, the train station, but away from the chaos.

Housekeeping is consistent at making our room clean and tidy while we were out for the day. Front desk is responsive to queries and for making pick up arrangements. The location is 20 mins. from the train station so it is convenient when visiting other towns (e.g. Caserta). There are also plenty of dining options around the property, as well as being close to the historic city center.
