To make our hotel even more beautiful, as we do every year, we are renovating our entrance area, probably until the beginning of December. We will, of course, carry out this work with the utmost care and ensure that all of our hotel's services are fully available to you as usual. During this time, we have set up our reception on our gallery on the mezzanine floor.

(3/5): Eine Katastrophe, wegen Lärm aus der Klimaanlage konnte man nicht schlafen - Soweit ok Es war eine Katastrophe: beim Betreten hatte das Zimmer 30 Grad dann kam nach einer Weile ein Techniker und hat an der Einstellung geschraubt: als der ging war das Zimmer nach 2 Stunden wie gewünscht auf 21 Grad; dafür ertönte aus der Klimaanlage bis Morgens ein lautes Brummen weit über 80 Dezibel. Das hat mir einen unruhigen Schlaf beschert. Es ist wohl noch eine alte oder nicht richtig eingestellte Klmaanlage. So ist eine Übernachtung für im Bayerischen Hof, wenn man nachts ruhig schlafen will, nicht zu empfehlen, leider.

Sehr unangenehm riechendes Zimmer im Altbau (033), falsche Wegweisung und teilweise Unkenntniss des Personals über den komplizierten Weg vom Altbau auf die Dachterrasse im andere Gebäudeteil. Mit einer Dame des Personals als Begleitung verirrt in dem Gewirr von Gängen. Zimmer sehr warm, Heizungsregler nur für Fachleute geeignet, offenes Fenster erforderlich, folglich nächtliche Störung durch Verkehrslärm. Typische Erscheinung in alten, renovierungsbedürftigen Hotelgebäuden: Abfluss in der Badewanne/Dusche verstopft. Fairerweise aufgrund der Beschwerden Frühstück nicht verrechnet.

- kkD4970TU (4/5): NOT a standard we expected - We stayed at the hotel from May 4th to May 7th. At first, we were checked into a non-renovated room. The room was dirty, with food crumbs left on the table, and the mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. After we complained, we were moved to a renovated room, and the rest of the stay was acceptable. The Wi-Fi situation was unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Internet access was extremely expensive, and because of the outdated and poorly functioning system, I had to pay €95 multiple times. The hotel refused to refund the duplicate charges. There was also a serious safety issue outside the hotel entrance. A broken tile/stair caused my pregnant wife to trip and fall. Even worse, the hotel staff could not provide basic antiseptic treatment afterward. Overall, the hotel feels very old, outdated, and poorly maintained. Certainly not the standard we expected.

Lieber wieder im Vier Jahreszeiten. - Die Fliesen am Boden im Bad waren zu 60 % gelöst und wackelten,die Fugen hatten kein Mörtel mehr so das man sich zu verletzen konnte. Bein eintreten in die Eingangshalle hat uns als erstes die Unansehnliche Rezeption schockiert . Wie ein alter monotoner langer Schrank hinter dem sich drei Nette Damen versteckten. Aber als ein noch viel grösseres Manko bewerte ich den Essengeruch im Eingangsbereich aber auch auf allen Fluren und im ganzen Haus . als ich dann endlich auf unser Zimmer waren hatten wir keinen Appetit mehr. Also ab ins Bad. Ich kann mir bis heute nicht erklären warum sich Schauspieler ,Politiker oder andere Prominente in ihrem Haus einchecken

- Roving00631463849 (10/5): Team & Concierge service at its finest – thank you, Mr. Kaesler - Our stay at the Bayerischer Hof was perfect, but what truly elevated the experience was the concierge service of Herr Kaesler. When we shared our plans for the evening, he didn't just point us in a direction – he personally made the arrangements and connected us with the right people, who welcomed us as if we were old friends. The result was a wonderful evening and genuine encounters we would otherwise never have had. This is the difference between a good hotel and a great one – a concierge who understands that a recommendation is only the beginning, and who opens doors his guests didn't even know existed. Herr Kaesler is discreet, attentive, and genuinely passionate about Munich. Highly recommended – and a heartfelt thank-you to Herr Kaesler and the entire Bayerischer Hof team.

Die Qualität des Frühstücks, für den Preis kann man echten Mozzarella erwarten nicht den billigen Schnitt Mozzarella, die Melone war mit dem Zwiebelmesser geschnitten. Der Fön war nach 1minute überhitzt, das Hotel wirbt mit 24h Essen, das ist nicht korrekt. Das ist schimpfen auf hohem Niveau, aber wer ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist, der sollte auf so etwas achten.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a team that consistently demonstrated professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. The staff truly made all the difference—always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. A very special thank you goes to Michael Jansen at the concierge, whose outstanding service turned what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. I had unfortunately forgotten my prescribed medication at home—something I could not go without for the duration of our stay. After explaining the situation to Michael, he responded immediately with empathy and efficiency. Within a remarkably short time, he arranged for me to see a practitioner who re-prescribed the medication. Michael went above and beyond by organizing the pickup and ensuring the medication was delivered directly to my room—all within just a couple of hours. His promptness, thoughtfulness, and dedication were truly impressive and deeply appreciated. Experiences like this are what set great hotels apart from exceptional ones. We are incredibly grateful and will absolutely return. Thank you again to the entire team—and especially to Michel—for making our stay so memorable.

Alles sehr sauber. - Top Lage (zentraler geht nicht) - dennoch nachts absolut ruhig - Durchgehend sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, wo man auch immer war (Portier, Réception, Gastronomie, Room Service usw.) - Traumhaftes Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen - Überall schöne, sehr gepflegte Räumlichkeiten, alles tiptop sauber - Die exotische „Trader Vic‘s“-Bar im Keller war ein Erlebnis Vielen Dank für dieses unvergessliche Wochenende! Rein gar nichts!

- Katelyn (7/5): Fancy but overpriced - It’s iconic and a fancy treat Every additional thing in the hotel cost extra. The breakfast that was standard at any other hotel cost 50 EUR per person here. The view of the Frauenkirche and Munich skyline was amazing - but that’s what we paid the room costs for. The in-building theater cost extra.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, concierge team amazing- very helpful and made me feel truly valued. Breakfast was fresh, delicious a lot to choose from and well organised. Overall, a top-notch experience with outstanding service. Cant wait for my next visit (soon) to Bayerischer Hof Hotel.:)
