• Jwen Anne (3/5): A budget dormitory pretending to be 4 star hotel. - The location of the hotel was good. The Wi-Fi and facilities are very poor. The gym is pathetic, and there’s no pool. It wasn’t comfortable or clean. There were flies in the room due to infrequent cleaning, and the bath had a sewage smell. Getting in and out of the bed was difficult, the shelving was not located in the right places. The shower door is too short so water always spilled. Breakfast was lousy.

The only thing that would have made it better would have been a tv for the room but for a nights stay not needed. Didn't hear any noise which is unusual for a hotel so enjoyed that.

• Andrey (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Singapore - Nice new hotel in the very central location of Singapore. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, yes those are not suites, but in Singapore very good value for money. A good breakfast was included. We particularly liked the big open spaces in the hotel where you can work, relax and even exercise. Recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Singapore for a few nights. Water from the shower, goes on the toilet, but that is a minor thing as everything is water tight.

• Brian (5/5): Not for me - The room was fine. The size was good, WiFi was strong, a/c was good. The location is convenient. You have to check in yourself on a screen and a little machine pops out your key card. This was the first time I’ve encountered this ands it was so off putting that I would not stay at this property again. It felt like the hotel doesn’t care at all about the guests, and set a terrible tone for my stay.

Breakfast was included in price. Though room is small save is very cleverly used and it doesn’t feel tight. Our room had view onto Fort Canning area. Easy to walk to Clark Quay etc The bed has a protruding ledge supporting it. As we are an older couple that made getting in and out of bed more challenging than it might be for more agile people.

El servicio del hotel fue también muy amable tanto a nuestra llegada como salida. Las vistas de la habitación daban a otro edificio y faltaba intimidad. Teníamos que tener las persianas bajadas y generaba un poco de efecto "celda". Quizás tener unas ventanas opacas por fuera sería mejor en estos casos, o unas cortinas traslúcidas, que dejaran pasar la luz...

Nieoczekiwanie dostałyśmy update pokoju i zamiast studio z łóżkiem typu queen size dostałyśmy dwa takie pokoje ze wspólną łazienką i kuchnią. Łóżka były bardzo wygodne. Pokój, kuchnia oraz łazienka były wyposażone we wszystko czego potrzeba. Bardzo dobre, smaczne śniadanie. Może nie za wielki wybór, ale wystarczający. Super lokalizacja na zwiedzanie miasta, dobrze skomunikowane (wystarczy przejść przez centrum handlowe by dostać się na stację). Przed przyjazdem zostałam poproszona o pobranie aplikacji, w celu check-in. Niestety miałam problemy. Trochę się stresowałam, ponieważ nie było informacji że można na miejscu zrobić check-in. Ostatecznie nie było z tym żadnego problemu i stres był niepotrzebny. Ładowanie telefonu było możliwe tylko poprzez użycie adaptera. Były wprawdzie wtyczki USB, ale niestety nie działały.

• Yuan (8/5): 地點佳、早餐簡單營養；惟酒店設施略老舊、備品多半要主動詢問領取、價格高 - 1.地點很好，從City Hall車站可走地下道直達酒店(都在室內)。 先往D出口並一路跟著Funan指標走約10分鐘到達百貨公司B2，接著在1F麥當勞對面的電梯搭到4F(有一台只停1F跟4F，其他也可搭)，然後電梯旁邊就是飯店了。飯店指標不太顯眼，一開始還找了一下。 酒店樓下的Funan商場有很多餐廳，也有超市可以逛。 步行10分鐘內可達魚尾獅公園、新加坡美術館、克拉碼頭。 2.早餐簡單但營養！連續三天都有看到水煮蛋、歐姆蛋、各種麵包&咖啡&牛奶，另外會搭配蔬菜、澱粉、小點。 3.房間走廊的轉角有飲水機、冰箱、垃圾桶，可以拿房間的冷熱水壺去裝水。 4.這個房型空間夠大，可放很多東西。 5.6F有極簡易健身器材，5F廚房在早餐時段以外都是開放的，4F交誼廳有很多人會在那辦公。 1.很不習慣洗手台在廁所外，不過蠻多酒店都這樣設計。 2.消防局在附近，偶爾會聽到很大的警報聲，不過晚上沒被吵醒，不確定是不是有特別靜音。 3.雖然地點方便&早餐不錯，但以設施&房間設備來說價格還是太高，浴廁偏老舊，雖然熱水來的快，但乾溼分離很差，馬桶有時也沖不乾淨，要多沖幾次。 4.房門關閉沒有緩衝，熱門時段可能會聽到鄰居此起彼落的關門聲，有時也會聽到外面的人講話聲。 5.房間沒有電視，本身不會使用所以影響不大。 6.房內基本上沒放什麼備品要自己拿，室內拖要跟櫃台拿。
• Marcel (9/5): - lyf is geïntegreerd in een mooi winkelcentrum waar ook een mrt-halte is gevestigd. Daardoor ligt het op een super goede locatie want met de mrt kom je goedkoop en snel overal waar je moet zijn. Het hotel zelf is hip, artsy, innovatief en efficiënt met allerlei leuke verrassingen waardoor het een unieke uitstraling heeft. Kamers zijn klein maar wel super handig ingericht en het ontbreekt je aan weinig. Volgende keer in Singapore gaan we weer naar lyf. We hadden wat gedoe toen we de reservering moesten aanpassen en er allerlei motivatie en bewijs moest worden aangeleverd in meerdere etappes over meerdere dagen. Maar uiteindelijk is het wel allemaal coulant geregeld en daar moet je ook credits voor geven.

• HALYNA (9/5): - Небольшой и чистый номер, неплохие завтраки, но был неприятный инцидент, среди ночи разбудила пожарная сигнализация, а у нас был очень долгий путь в Сингапур, простояли на улице пол часа, но то, что можно вернуться можно в номер, никто ничего не объяснил, что произошло, заходили уже со всеми, но до конца никто не понимал, можно ли вернуться в номер и т.д. Т.е. сотрудники совершенно не знают, что делать в нестандартных ситуациях… разводили руками, сами ничего не понимая… Ванная комната, нет изоляции и вода после душа повсюду.

Unfortunately, neither lyf funan team nor the management of the hotel showed any responsiveness, empathy, or willingness to help resolve the problem. They simply kept the payment, offered no refund, and canceled my booking without proposing any solution I truly regret booking this hotel, I ended up paying double for nothing. I am so disapointed how they treat me and my request

• Serhat (8/5): Top-Lage, amüsant - Die Lage der Unterkunft war top, in der Nähe gab es sowohl mehrere verschiedene MRT-Stationen/Linien und in Fußdistanz konnte man einige Attraktionen erreichen. Die Allgemeinbereiche fand ich sehr amüsant, war verschieden wie kunterbunt es war. Frühstück war mid, am letzten Tag hatte ich nicht einmal Bock runterzugehen und da was zu Essen. Man könnte ev. Badutensilien wie Wättestäbchen etc. im Unterkunft beilegen.

• Nick Ruben (7/5): - Ligging is zeer goed, kamers zijn klein en meer alternatief. Wel was er ondanks dat het klein was voldoende ruimte en opslag. Geen luxe maar eerder om te overnachten. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Het was proper. Vlakbij een brandweerkazerne maar daar hadden we geen last van. Ook bevindt het hotel zich in een shoppingcenter. Ligging was vooral ideaal.
• Kerna (9/5): Great hotel in Funan mall - The location because we have a direct access to the City Hall MRT station which is connected to 3 lines. Furthermore, the hotel is near the MRT station Clarke Quay. The breakfast was included and had a good variety of meals from savory to sweet. For your information, the hotel is located inside the Funan mall, thus it is easy to have access to a large choice of restaurants and stores. The staff were also helpful and kind which values our experience even more. Regarding the rooms, they are comfortable and had everything we needed (towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer). The sink in the room and the AC which is not working that well.

• Yu (8/5): 員工熱情，替我們升等 - 交通很方便，算鄰近區域CP值比較高的住宿，電梯口就有飲水機，有廚房的房型-餐具和冰箱一應俱全，樓下就有超市很方便補貨（不能退稅），三天會整理垃圾一次+更換毛巾 鄰近消防局，若很淺眠者要再考慮

• michelle (8/5): Heerlijk hotel op een topplek - Vooraf had ik er iets meer van verwacht, maar dat komt door de vele goeie reviews op deze site. Daardoor had ik me het hotel iets luxer voorgesteld :-) Maar het was helemaal prima. De lokatie was top, dichtbij de metro en het gezelligste deel van Kuala Lumpur. Niks viel tegen.
• Rener (10/5): Great. - Everything worked out just fine. Nothing. Room is very small but I already knew it.
• Afari (9/5): FANTASTIC!! - The breakfast was soo good. They had a wide variety of food which catered for different cultures. Their staff was also friendly and supportive when we needed some assistance.

• Mark (1/5): 2 star hotel and unsafe. - The location is very good for proximity to the city centre, however, with one large issue - see negative. Rooms were sold as small and budget and thats what they are. Paid laundry on site was handy. 2 star hotel and unsafe. The hotel claims to be a 4 star hotel, and prices itself as such. I have since read through a variety of rating systems and can not see what at all it would be using to justify itself as anything above 2 star. Its a an extremely basic budget hotel with small (not missold as anything other) rooms. The breakfast facilities are very poor, in terms of quality and seating. There are no amenities in the room consistent with a 4 star rating, there are shared fridges which is nice for a 2 star hotel. The gym facilities are beyond poor, it shouldnt be listed as a gym. There is an onsite paid laundry - that is the one thing I assume they're using to justify a 4 star rating - but its a stretch to say the least. Onto 3 massive issues for us: 1) The hotel lists air conditioning. AIr conditioners are present, but they are restricted to not go below 20 °C. Perhaps this is acceptable for local travellers. It is absolutely not acceptable for a 4 star hotel. The natural internal building temperature in Singapore is about 20 °C so the AC is not doing anything and the hotel is one of the hotels places in doors in SIngapore. 2) There's a fire station outside, and emergency vehicles leave regularly with sirens on during the night. Not the fault of the hotel, of course, and sure can be part and parcel of living in a city. However it shows up another big issue, the windows dont do much to reduce noise and the "curtains" neither reduce noise nor sun. If the hotel was 2 star again, sure I could understand it. But its extremely far below the standard of a 4 star hotel. 3) There was a fire alarm during our stay, again not the fault of the hotel. However only a few people evacuated the building during it, and apparently that was partly because the hotel locked people in the hotel lobby.
• John Alexander (9/5): - Superb location, clean room, helpful staff insistence on using app and auto-check-in and check-out is a bit annoying when it doesn't work that well.
• ReinoudC (8/5): - Super leuk, beetje quirky, modern hotel. Student Hotel vibe met ook veel mid- en long stay. Wij hadden als familie met zn 4en 2 losse kamers die samen een kitchenette deelden. Heel ruim en praktisch ingericht. De ballenbak in de lobby was een hit bij de kinderen natuurlijk. De wasmachines beneden zijn ook goedkoop en snel. Het ontbijt was niet zo uitgebreid en kon op geen enkele manier een glutenallergie cateren.

• Cristina (9/5): Ok for short stays as a base for exploring the city. - Great location close to all major sites within walking distance. Located inside a mall so plenty of restaurants to choose from. Nice views from upper floors. Breakfast was very basic and super crammed. Take breakfast elsewhere. Also the bed was weiredly positioned, the person sleeping next to the window has to jump over the other person to get out of bed. Quite uncomfortable also because no switch or power outlets for that person.

• Natalie (9/5): - Great central location not far from Marina Bay, 30 mins from Changi Airport, and 5-10 minutes walk to a train station either overground or via an air conditioned underpass through the mall. Room was spacious with plenty of storage and hanging space. Shower seemed new and had good water pressure. Mall was very convenient with lots of food options in the basement food court. Good air conditioning. Breakfast was nice but options were limited The bed being on quite a high platform meant that you had to climb in and out of bed, and walk across the bed to access the window and blinds. Not suitable for people with lower mobility
• Beyhan (10/5): Olağanüstü - Tek kelime ile olağan üstü . Merkeze yakın , trene yakın. Havaalanına erişim çok kolay. Kaldığımız en iyi otel. Otel konseptine ek olarak müşterilerin kullanması için mutfak olması çok büyük kolaylık. Beğenmediğimiz hiç birşey yok . Olağanüstü.
