From the moment we arrived, the host was welcoming and attentive, making check-in easy and stress-free. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. One of the standout features was the personal touch from the hosts. They offered helpful tips about local restaurants and attractions, which really made our visit memorable. The property itself was peaceful and well-maintained. Location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see, but quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. We truly appreciated the responsiveness of the host whenever we had a question or needed help; he was always eager to help and did so with kindness. Overall, our stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. I would happily return in the future!

The Athena Vintage apartment was magical - with antique furniture, beautiful tiles, pottery and art, and all-around very tasteful old-world beauty and charm. Also has good air fonditioning and a large screen TV. The apartment feels so good that you may find yourself making excuses for staying in.. Also good light, and two balconies.

Our host Chris was lovely and provided some great tips for around the city. The apartment is in an ideal location for catching the subway to easily get around to main attractions and tourist areas. The walk into main tourist areas with restaurants and cafes can be a little sketchy so best to keep your wits about you.

Unfortunately we had to leave 4 days earl - The apartment was very comfortable, the pool area and sunloungers were immaculate. The host & the housekeeping lady were very welcoming & accommodating. The only negative I have is that for evenings when not going out it would be nice if the TV allowed streaming for Netflix etc as there was only 1 English Channel & no news channel in English. It would also be nice if the apartment came with dish soap & cloths to allow us to wash up after using dishes. We bought ours at the supermarket & gave to the apartment next door when leaving .

Some fruits were waiting for me as well in the kitchen (very nice gesture). The apartment was clean and conveniently located right near the metro.

• Ioannis (10/5): Exceptional - It was a big and comfortable apartment. I loved the 2 bedrooms and I found the open kitchen/living room not that big, but big enough for a 3 people family. Due to the double windows it was really quite, even if located at a noisy area. The host was really friendly and he shared a lot of information regarding sightseeing, food, bars etc. Finally, it is well connected by bus and metro, and you can reach Plaka on foot in about 20 - 25 minutes. Definitely I would like to come back to this place!

• 🇬🇧david🇵🇹 (9/5): Superb - We booked a 1 bed apartment, it was spacious and clean with all amenities in a good location. Chris was a superb and very informative host. There was a lot of traffic noise at night (but this is a 24 hour city), nearby shops and bakeries are open 24:7.

Very close to metro station and bus stops, easy transfer to and from the airport. Everything you need for a pleasant stay: well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, aircondition. Great value for money. You would need to be very picky to find anything to complain about.
• Laoise (7/5): Overall we had a great stay in Athens. - Great Sized apartment with all the facilities needed. The host Chris was fantastic and very informative. The bread factory across the road is fantastic for snacks. Although the location is close to the metro and hop on hop off bus the area js very rough and run down. The road is incredibly busy and noisy and although there is two double doors to combat this it’s still bad. The apartment could do with a big deep clean. The shower facilities were very mouldy. There was long brown hair on the beds and in random areas which I presume were the cleaners. The pillows need to be changed as they smell very dirty.

It was extremely well equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, along with all of the other utilities. Our host Chris, was fantastic, so very helpful, he was always easy to contact when we needed essential information about our location, restaurants, beaches etc, nothing was too much trouble. He also organised our taxi back to the airport. The apartment was not in the best part of Athens, but if you are sensible and avoid the obvious risks that come with a big city, it is fine. We did not find any problems and the apartment was lovely.

Right next to the Metro station. Many opportunities for recreation can be found in the surrounding area. The apartment is equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The host is very friendly and provides all the necessary information you will need. Nothing was wrong.

It was very close to the buses, metro and food. About 20 minute walk to the Acropolis and main sites. The staff were lovely and gave great recommendations. Would love to come back here!

Chris went extra miles to look after us arranging us an airport taxi, providing us some snacks and surprising cakes during our stay for a week. The apartment's very clean, comfy bed, quiet neighbours and full of everything we need. The location is great near metro and food 24 hours cafe. We love the apartment so much that we're already thinking about coming back since the first day we arrived. The area/roads behind apartment leads to famous tourist area(Monastiraki) by foot is very dodgy area. Recommended travelling via metro to all famous places than following Google map non-stop leading to drug area.
• David (8/5): Family Stay in Athens 2023 - The apartment was great. It was very clean and lots of space. Chris was very helpful and informative. Having the bread factory across the street was very nice. The metro and the hop on hop off bus stop was across the street, so that was great. The beds were a little tough on the back. The adjoining neighborhoods do not feel safe for a family. If you try to walk anywhere, you need to be conscious of your surroundings.

Fabulous pastry coffee shop on corner so apartment is close to everything you need Hop on Hop off Bus is at metro exit and fabulous restaurants are around the apartment. Apartment is very clean and tidy and even a clothes washing machine we both felt as though we were at home. Would definitely return if we come back. There was nothing not to like.

• Dimitra (6/5): Definitely a unique experience. - That location was about a 20 minute walk to acropolis the street itself, and the adjoining streets were a little bit sketchy at night and you didn’t feel quite safe to walk. The host Chris was great and easy to communicate with and even arranged to have a taxi pick us up at the airport! He also sent us some local attractions that might be of interest. The restaurants in Monesteraki were amazing and you can buy all your souvenir’s from there. Definitely would recommend. The price for the apartment was reasonable and you get what you paid for. The property was very dated and the pictures did not match the postings online. The furniture was from 1970 and the original furniture was in the apartment and the fixtures were all vintage. Everything was very clean, but uncomfortable because they were so old especially the couch and chairs. The mattresses were also very old and we did not sleep well for the 2 night we were there.

We enjoyed - It was the city of Athens so it is very busy like any major city but it fit our purpose. We could walk or take the metro to see the sites. • Poo (8/5): First Impressions of Athens - My family and I of 4 stayed for 4 nights in early Sept 23. Chris was a superb host, and he contacted us first, a day before we were due to arrive in Athens. Our flight was delayed and what was supposed to be a 9pm check-in became a next-day 3am check in. We informed him about it and he in turn, assured us that it wasn't an issue to him, and comforted us that travel delays weren't what we wanted and it could happen to anyone. The apartment we had was big and well situated, very near to the Metro, very comfortable for us. Areas of attraction was also within walking distance acceptable to us. Nil

The apartment was clean, well decorated and maintained and gave everything you could possibly need for a city break in Athens. Definitely somewhere we would return to, but the most exceptional experience was Chris, the SUPER HOST! He was welcoming and informative, always available at the end of the phone and answered texts immediately. • Jane (10/5): We had a great 4 days in Athens and the apartment played a big role in our enjoyment of the city. - The Apartment had great amenities, was very clean and well located.....Very near a Metro Station, a fantastic coffee and cake restaurant and around the corner from a great local tavern. The host Chris was exceptional. He greeted us warmly and showed us the apartment, including various fruit and snacks he had purchased for us. He was easy to message and answered very promptly. He furnished us with a long list of local recommendations and booked a taxi for us to the airport at the end of our stay. Really quite amazing service!

The neighbourhood is not the best but we got home safely every nig - - Spacious and extremely comfortable, and super clean - About 20/25 mns walk to the Acropolis and 10 mns walk to our favorite neighbourhood : Psiri! - Everything worked perfectly including the AC in both bedrooms - The road is extremely noisy but once the windows are closed you cant hear anything, that was pretty incredible - Chris was a lovely host, our flight was late but he waited for us in front of the building to welcome us himself and had prepared fresh fruits and snacks upon arrival! Everything was great!
