- mark (4/5): - No AC for 1 day, no hot water for 1 day, promised lounge/bar not open, and adjacent clubs played extremely loud music that made my room vibrate until 3 AM. And at checkout when I asked for a modest discount because of all these problems, the nice clerk said the owner never gave any consideration to such requests. Everything else was good though. 🙄
- Charlotte (2/5): Do not stay here if you want to sleep - This hotel says it's attached to a restaurant which isnt open and doesn't operate. It is actually adjacent to a bar and club, where the music is so loud and actually gets much louder at 1am all the way through the early hours of the morning, it vibrates the whole room. The windows are thin and don't shut out any noise. ear plugs wont even help. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Do not stay here if you want to get any sleep.

- Babek (2/5): Very poor quality and location. - It was not far from the location we needed for our trip. There are nice places nearby and across the road. We didn’t have a wi-fi for the whole time of the stay. As much as receptionists tried to convince us that it’s temporary and someone will come to fix it - we felt like they never have a WiFi. Additionally, it’s next to the club which is absolutely insane because music continued until 04:00. They claim that if you call receptionist all the time, then they can “go and speak to the club”, but that’s an absolute lie. Nothing changed even when we complained. Avoid unless you really need to stay here.
- Ana (4/5): Nice location and nice staff, everything else is terrible. - The location is perfect if you want to stay next to the bosphorus. The hotel is extremely dirty. You can see insects flying in the reception desk all the time. The furnitures of the rooms are covered with dust. During night time prepare yourself to fall asleep around 2:30 am because the nightlife clubs next to the hotel make it impossible to fall asleep.
- Tasneem (5/5): Has potential to be a great place! - Ortakoy Hotel is a little GEM,that just needs more Love and Care by the owners/management. It has great potential as you get "palace style" rooms at excellent value. The bathrooms are nice and showers excellent Big Shout out to Mr. Furkan at the reception who was very helpful. He was running the entire show alone... He explained that it was because of Bayram Kurban, Eid ul Adha holidays that they were short on staff..... The Discotheque next door which runs exasperating music till 3-4am. And although the hotel has double windows, the rooms on right corner are facing the club and music finds it way in... Limited access for vehicles drop off Poor housekeeping (which will lead to fast degradation of the rooms) No restaurant/ breakfast Air-Condition in the rooms is centrally controlled and temperatures are not comfortable. Quite warm

Credits to the clean lady for helping being wonderful and super friendly. She was so helpful all the time we needed her and was available at all time. We stayed 2 nights during weekend and was so quite.. Ortakoy is very beautiful, we have nice cafes to enjoy our breakfast, we took the boat until eminonu(old city/grandbazaar etc)it's very good connected. Around the hotel are many shop and restaurants.. I 💯🙏❤️highlighted recommended this place Thank you very much Nothing. Everything was good for us

- Hesham (6/5): Pleasant - I liked how close the hotel is to Ortaköy, with literally 20 seconds walk to the sea side next to Espresso Lab. It’s close to many other restaurants in the area as well. 2 minutes walk to the bus station. Although place is close to most places in Ortaköy and it’s in a very good location, I didn’t like the staff working there at the reception, but this is a personal opinion and experience and doesn’t necessarily mean they did anything wrong!

The location is great for the Ortakoy (a bustling areas which is not for those seeking tranquility!) and northern Bosphorus shore but bear in mind the lack of close access to Metro or Trams. Also my terrific (deluxe) room actually looked at least as good as the photos on the website. That never usually happens! The wifi was poor: patchy, slow and unreliable. It was also very irritating to have to enter my passport number to connect every time I returned to the room. There was a periodic smell of drains from the shower. The air-conditioning stopped working for the last 2 days of my 5-night stay. Since it was October, this was not a big issue.

- Dopit (8/5): Very good - Nice small hotel directly in Ortaköy area. Clean and spacious, nice decoration, with a comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. Staff was friendly, spoke English, and helped in getting the taxi for the departure. Room had air conditioning and tall double doors to small balcony facing to a narrow side street which be wide opened to get fresh air which was nice. At night the music of a nearby club is on between 22pm to 1/2 am. The closer the rooms are to the main street, the louder it gets. I was lucky to have a room further away from the street. My colleague was not so fortunate.

- Stanislav (10/5): Nice 4 days stay - The location is perfect, right at the square. Many restaurants and bars around. Did not have any discomfort with loud music, as long as you keep windows shut. Cleaning was done daily and thoroughly. One of the best stays in Istanbul. It is not really a con, but the bed size was smaller than expected. Still, 2 people fit perfectly.

- Aliyah (10/5): Fabulous - The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Ortaköy, with easy access to all forms of transportation, including the ferry and bus, both less than a 2-minute walk away. We frequently walked from Beşiktaş to Ortaköy, which took us only about 20 minutes. Major districts like Sultanahmet, Üsküdar, Eminönü, and Bebek are all easily reachable by ferry. However, it’s important to note that the ferry from Ortaköy doesn't run as frequently as the one from Beşiktaş, which departs every 15-30 minutes. Still, switching routes wasn’t an issue for us. We were also very happy to receive the pink room we had requested in our reservation! We had been a bit concerned about club music / noise based on some reviews on Booking.com, but we didn’t experience any disturbances during our stay - we heard absolutely nothing! The windows are double-paned!! We stayed here for a week, including the weekend, and had no problems at all! The staff overall were incredibly friendly. They were always available to help with any questions or requests, and their warm hospitality really stood out. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived! The rooms were always cleaned perfectly, and the housekeeping staff (Ayşe) did an excellent job making sure everything was spotless throughout our stay. We truly appreciated her attention to detail!

- Andrea (8/5): Ortakoy is a pretty and lively spot if you want to stay a little bit out of Sultanahmet. The ferries are easy to use in - Great location right by Ortakoy ferry station. Front desk manager Adnan was extremely helpful with helping me change rooms due to music noise. Very loud music from a close, nearby club, until 04:00hrs. I stayed on a Thursday and Friday night so perhaps the club music doesn’t happen every night, but it was extremely loud.

- Kabita (3/5): Nice hotel and rooms BUT save your money and eardrums - Please note -- the hotel in itself, is quite nice: while staff don't speak English, they are courteous and try to be helpful. The rooms are clean and at a good temperature, and while some of the views are very limited (mine for example faced the windows and walls of a neighboring restaurant), this didn't matter to me -- and the view immediately outside the hotel was superb. HOWEVER, the hotel has a massive shortcoming, which is the club next door, which plays music until literally 3 or 4am nightly. It is currently 2am and there is pounding music in my room on a Wednesday night / Thursday AM. Thankfully there are double-glazed windows, but rooms on the first floor are likely uninhabitable because of the sound. Extremely loud, late night, music. Have never encountered anything like it. Property should provide earplugs.

- Begum (3/5): Wouldnt recommend - Location, decoration My room was dusty and full of hair, i explained the situation and asked for a cleaning, only towels got changed. Nights not enough sound isolation, club music bass till 4 a.m on weekend. Staff not professional and respectful.
- Matthew (9/5): Amazing stay with Friendly staff! - Property was so clean and so close with everything - shops, bars, restaurants. Great view outside the hotel as it is near the waters. It is in the middle of airport and Hagia Sofia site so can easily take a cab. Receptionist and staff was so good - and helped me to book things around including booking my hammam experience. I would definitely book Ortakoy hotel when I get back to Istanbul. Plus the rooms have amazing structure. Nothing really. Enjoyed staying here and experiencing Istanbul

- John (5/5): Good location but music bar too load . - Location was good. Bedroom was above a their bar which played loud music into early hours . Also near a mosque which had early call to prayer . Didn’t sleep well.Also air extractor in bathroom would not shut off.

- Maxim (6/5): Very average (except for the restaurant staff). - Good quality bathrooms. Restaurant staff very friendly, policy, and helpful. No timely dry cleaning. Very noisy (music wouldn’t stop until around 3am). Most staff do not speak English well, or at all. Simple requests like taxi booking or room service were often a challenge. Room looked very different from the one advertised by Booking.com.
- Banna (1/5): I left after the first night although I paid and booked for nine days - The reason why does booking give this low key hotel a good score? It does not worth the star and the value. I would not trust booking about their rankings anymore I hate it
