- Barbara (5/5): Tja…. - De locatie van het hotel. Echt gedateerd, het personeel vonden wij niet vriendelijk of behulpzaam. Behalve de bewaker bij de lift in de avond. We kregen eerst een hele oude kamer, met een fluitende airconditioning en een douchegordijn. Daarna wel een betere kamer gekregen met mooi uitzicht over het park.

Room spacious and comfortable Air con not very strong - wouldn't like to stay here if the was hot. Hot water just about warm enough, but not hot. Couldn't get a stable 5G phone signal inside the room (Airalo esim), had to switch to 4G which was OK

- Makiko (7/5): たいへんよかったです。 - ロケーションがよく、観光に便利でした。また、歴史を感じる建物で、1930年代に関心がある私にぴったりでした。 豪華だし清潔なのですが、築年数がたっているせいか、トイレットペーパーが手の届きにくいところに設置されているとか、枕元に空いているコンセントがない（私は眠る時機械が必要です）とか、細かい不便さがありました。また、トイレは逆に全自動で、そばに行くと勝手に蓋が開いてしまい、せわしなかったです。スタッフはとても垢抜けていてプロだと感じましたが、存在して、一般公開されている魯迅故居への行き方を尋ねたところそんなものは上海にないといわれてしまいました。
- Liam (9/5): 舒適且地點非常好且近地鐵站 - 位於人民廣場旁，也離地鐵站近走出來一下就到，徒步走去南京東路和外灘也方便，不會太吵視野不錯，雖然老字號飯店且房間也很古典，但舒適性真的不錯，我很少住飯店可以第一天就睡的很舒服的，早餐有但我連續住都睡太晚沒吃到所以無法給評價如何，門口有外送智能櫃叫外送也合適，門口白天會有排隊買蝴蝶酥的一堆人，但蝴蝶酥我沒買，飯店房客可以房間掃碼下訂，我覺得是住的很舒服的單人房 1 鄰房如果小吵是會聽到聲音的，但這些聲音都在非睡眠時間所以還可以接受 2 第3天晚上隔壁的房客是新入住的，結果第4天一早就聞到有菸味，從空調或是哪傳過來的

- jongkyung (10/5): - 호텔 건너면1,2,8호선. 인민공원에서 산책하기 좋아요. 룸 크고,수압도 좋고, 침구가 아주 편했습니다. 담배냄새나 뭐 그런건 없었습니다. 도보로 푸동쪽으로 걸어갈만했고 주위에 백화점과 쇼핑센터 안에 맛있는 음식점 들도 많았습니다. 고풍스런 실내장식도 맘에 들고 역사를가진 오래된 호텔이라는 점도 좋았습니다. 매일 2병 물, 청소해 줍니다. 없었습니다.

- H.J. (8/5): Genuine vibe from the 1930's - I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel has a genuine vibe from the 1930's and brings you back in time. The interior is beautifully decorated. My room was simple but sufficiently comfortable. Breakfast was a great pleasure. The location near Peoples Park is the best that you can wish for.

- HP2008 (7/5): Historical hotel and budget friendly - The best thing about this hotel is the Location. It's just across the train station and next to the park. A lot of eateries around this location. The Hotel rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaning service is good. The rooms were not the very best. Understandable that this is a old hotel, but the air-con/heater was totally not working the way I wanted it to, but considering it was cold and the room was getting stuffy, I could crack open the windows. The morning buffet does have some margin for improvement.

I was upgraded to a better room (without requesting it). Very kind staff and excellent breakfast. Some hooks would be nice. The light system is too complicated, couldn't find the button to switch off the night light. Also, there are too many lights emanating from the various electric appliances.

Несмотря на центральное расположение, в этой точке тихо и спокойно, через дорогу метро, в 5ти минутах Нанки Роад и путь на набережную Вайтань. Завтраки - было что есть, как китайская так и европейская кухни, много вкусной выпечки. Персонал очень клиентоориентирован, разговаривает на английском. Вечером час живой музыки, вкусные коктейли.

J'ai particulièrement apprécié le service des portiers qui sont très prévenants dès l'arrivée. Ma chambre située au 4ème étage manquait de dégagement avec une vue directe sur les murs de l'immeuble d'en face.

- Mathias (10/5): Großartiges historisches Art deco Hotel in zentraler Lage - Ein Hotel, in dem auch Charlie Chaplin einst übernachtete, mit einem "Museum" zur Geschichte des Art-deco Hotels in der ersten Etage. Direkt am Peoples Square gelegen, somit zentral und direkt an einer Metro-Station. Die Zimmer komfortabel mit Hightech-Luxus-Toilette, auch hier Art-deco Einrichtung. Überall schalldämpfende Teppiche und in der Lobby gratis Getränke und 4x am Tag Live-Musik. Die Mitarbeiter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wenn Musiker live spielen, sollte die Musik, die über Lautsprecher abgespielt wird, pausieren. Diese wäre vor allem den Musikern gegenüber respektvoll.

Why would they post their hotel to booking.com if they will not honor what i have selected in booking.com. They didn’t even bother helping, it’s more like chase booking.com because that is where you did your booking. If i will be honest with the hotel, your hotel will not even be visible if you don’t post it over other sites so I don’t really get why they wouldn’t honor what I have booked from there. I paid upfront in the hotel and not through booking.com. Booking.com just connected them to tourists like us but they are never near accommodating or hospitable

- Marusya123 (10/5): Однозначно будем рекомендовать и сами будем здесь останавливаться. - Расположение отеля идеально, рядом с метро и пешеходной улицей. В отеле чистота, нет никаких неприятных запахов, удобные кровати и приветливый персонал. В номерах халаты и тапочки, каждый день приносят бутылки с питьевой водой, на ресепшн дали зубные щетки и расчески. У нас было 3 номера, все соответствуют фотографиям.
- INNA (10/5): Отлично - Отель в историческом здании, самый центр города, вход в метро напротив выхода из отеля. Окна у нас были не на парк, но даже боковой вид из окна был красивый. Завтраки разнообразные, достаточный выбор фруктов. Каждый день убирали, меняли полотенца. Все гигиенические принадлежности, фен, удобные тапочки были. В этом же здании отделение банка, удобно делать обмен. В номере холодно, +13+16 в начале марта. Но центрального отопления в Шанхае нет, поэтому так. Не знаю, можно ли было попросить обогреватели или грелку, мы не просили, просто купили тонкое термобельё и стало комфортно.

And price was good The rooms were a little dated with marks and peeling wallpaper and you could smell smoke in corridor. Also very thin walls so a bit of noise from Noisy neighbours The breakfast room whilst large didn’t have enough tables, so you had to share tables even small ones. The breakfast selection was quite good tho.

The rooms and facilities could use a freshening up, although I imagine it's difficult to do so for such a historical building.

Le camere sono ben tenute e molto pulite, niente da eccepire. Il personale é sempre stato gentile e disponibile. La colazione é un punto forte, perché é variegata e preparata al momento con diversi cuochi impegnati già dalle 7 del mattino. Unico neo il Wi-Fi che per noi ha funzionato poco. Nel complesso è un super hotel che consigliamo assolutamente.

Het hotel is “oude grandeur” tegen een betaalbare prijs Het bad is “outdated” en geeft allerlei “ongelukjes” met water wat alle kanten op vliegt en veel te hoge druk kent. Waarom geen douche??? Daarnaast is de procedure van in en uitchecken niet van een niveau wat bij zo’n hotel hoort. - het duurt veel te lang - men geeft niet alle informatie die je nodig hebt ( je moet er om vragen) - bij uitchecken kon men niet zien of ik een deposit had betaald????? - ik wilde de avond van tevoren de volledige rekening betalen ( ik vertrok vroeg) en dat kon niet?????
