We were checked in to hotel by Mr. Imtiaz. His warm and welcoming smile really made us feel at ease in the new country. He made sure me and my family are comfortable and there are no issues with our stay. the Breakfast at this hotel was delicious. It was buffet style and had ample of options everyday. The room service was quick and efficient. Rooms were clean but could be a little bit more lit. I felt the lighting can be improved. But that wasn't a deal breaker really. Overall i would this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai.
• 817sanjeevj (8/5): Centrally located good hotel with good staff, need some corrections. - Stayed in Royal Ascot Hotel from January 24 to Feb 7th , 2026. Centrally located with all the markets around. Most of the staff is very good , starting from Bell boys Faisal Shahzad, Lafran and others they will make you comfortable by the time you reach your room. I am regularly staying in the hotel since last over 10 years and as always room boy Abbas is always available for any of your needs , even at 1 in night he is available just a call away and will give you best service to make your room and stay comfortable, always a pleasant person. Found new chef Mr Mahesh very attentive to the needs of every guest visiting the restaurant, Food , specially Indian foods is wonderful in breakfast with a good spread to choose from including Juices, beverages, breads and Indian breakfast. Mr Imran got my room booked as special long term client and Mr Mohit at reception was all good in any assistance. Few disappointments: First time I found chipped off crockery and very dirty glasses, which I had complained and then were changed but hotel must look in worn off crockery and also fix the not -so- well functioning bathroom fixtures. The worst incident was , they gave me a room upgrade and after three days, abruptly, on one day asked me to shift to another room immediately, in an hour to shift, I have never experienced it in Royal Ascot earlier nor in over 60-70 hotels I have stayed in last 20 years across the world. I shifted room late night as I was to go out that time. It was real bad experience I have ever had.

The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of Meena Bazaar (approximately 5 minutes), Sharaf DG Metro Station (6–7 minutes), and the abra station at Bur Dubai Abra Station, which provides easy access to Deira (about 10 minutes on foot). This makes the hotel particularly convenient for visitors. The customer service was commendable, and I would especially like to acknowledge Mr. Imtiaz at the reception for his professionalism and courteous assistance. The hotel also features a 24-hour coffee shop, which is convenient for guests at any time of day. Breakfast, as well as facilities such as the sauna and swimming pool, are located at their sister property, Royal Ascot Hotel, situated in the adjacent building, which appears noticeably more modern. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the availability of a prayer room is an added convenience. However, there are areas that require improvement. The room furniture appears outdated and would benefit from refurbishment. The safety locker in Room 102 was not functioning, and the bathroom facilities are in need of upgrading. Additionally, there was no assistance provided with taking the luggage to the taxi at checkout, which would have improved the overall service experience. Overall, while the location and service standards are strong points, enhancements to the room interiors, maintenance, and guest assistance would significantly improve the experience.

Most of the staff members were polite, helpful, and supportive throughout our stay. However, we had an unpleasant experience with one receptionist, who was unexpectedly rude for reasons unknown to us. That said, apart from this single incident, the rest of the team was very cooperative. A special shout-out to Subhjinder, who went out of his way to assist us on our checkout day and helped resolve multiple hassles smoothly—his support truly made a difference. This area has many Indian style hotel. But the hotel needs upgrade. There aren't many new amenities. The bathroom has no proper bathing area which needs upgrade, lighting has to improve within room. Otherwise good hotel and service. Regular check is 2pm Dubai time and the hotel is value for money in all way and is clean. Ventilation has to improve

The 2nd stay our room was not too comfortable and immediately imthiyaz put us into a better room ..Sushi who handled our baggage at all times is very helpful , courteous and kind .. Feedback given about the breakfast at royal ascot was immediately attended to... location wise very close to airport , the closest metro is 800m away.. supermarkets are in close proximity ..easier to walk than take a taxi as traffic in bur dubai is tremendous...

The cleanliness of the property was impressive. Rooms, lobby, and common areas were always well-maintained, and housekeeping was always available. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety to start the day. I really enjoyed chicken sausage, humus and parantha. Used the pool and spa services, both were excellent. Only one suggestion, it would be regarding the charging sockets in the room. There was only one socket available, and it was placed above the bed’s headboard, which made charging multiple devices a little inconvenient. Special thank you Lafran, Johna, Nargis, prafulla, Jane and Manorma for making our stay comfortable I would recommend this hotel for those who want to be near meena bazar

Last but not the least Sukhjinder also helped us with our luggage after we checked out. The travel desk guy was also very helful while booking the local rides. The breakfast food was amazing and the tea which was especially suggested by Narges was amazing.

It's a very good hotel to stay and what ever queries you ask they are ready to answer. Of course it's near to souk and market area where our commute time is reduced and can shop easily. Last but no least food was amazing, they had lot of options. During our stay Zain, Jona, Santosh, Lapran, Imtiaz and Tom were friendly to us. These hotel management members were very friendly to us and helped us in planning my itenary very well. To summarize I would highly recommend for a stay in this hotel if you are planning on a trip to dubai.

We we're welcomed properly and very professional,not being biased because they're my fellow kabayan, esp. Zain... There's Jona, Profollo, Lafran and Sukhi also... Will most probably come again... The housekeeping team, especially Purna and Bikas, were extremely kind and attentive, always making sure everything I needed was taken care of. At the gym and pool, Robel and Sunail Sangam were always welcoming, making each visit enjoyable with their positive attitude. At the reception, Faisal greeted me warmly and ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay, while Zain was always kind and welcoming with his beautiful smile. From the concierge, Sukhjinder was very helpful, especially in assisting me before traveling. The hotel itself is very nice and classic, with a beautiful mix of luxury and antique charm. My room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. Overall, Ascot Hotel provided me with an excellent stay, thanks to its wonderful staff and charming atmosphere.

The staff are really friendly and accommodating, especially Zain, Prafula, Faisal, Jona, and Sonu. • sydneysteve (8/5): Good value overall - Located near to public transport. Plenty of taxis around. The staff were friendly & helpful. My room on the 3rd floor was clean & spacious. Everything worked fine. My bed had clean linens but the mattress was slightly on the hard side for my liking. The bathroom had good hot water & pressure. I was intrigued by the colour coded taps at the basin & the shower were on the wrong sides. Not sure if this is a UAE thing. I did not partake in breakfast. There are two bar restaurants attached to the hotel. I tried both, good service good food. There is a night club on the 5th floor which I could hear but it did not prevent me from sleeping. They also have a travel desk. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here.
