- ARISA (3/5): -
- Leong (10/5): - Good
- Piotr (6/5): Abgenutzte Wohnung in guter Lage.
- Steven (8/5): great place to stay and it will be perfect if the bidet is working. - The location is good, near 2 train station, infron of buss station, close to 2 supermarket, now to crowdy environment the bidet on my room did not work.
(6/5): Pleasant - Property is old, the door stopper is broken😫
- Howard (6/5): - It was a convenient option to be in Uguisudani and being one station from Ueno. You have your own kitchen, washer, you'll need to hang dry your clothes so take that into account. It is also located next to 2 grocery stores and Don Quixote. I recommend this place as it will not break the bank and is convenient. Thank you!
- Damian (8/5): Winter short stay - Shower, toilet and kitchen were good. The supermarkets were very close so we could self cater. The stations were not too far away. It was good for a small family and was what I imagined a japanese apartment was like. (Small, but this is tokyo!) Not enough electric sockets in bedrooms. Hotel hard to find from the street and self check in was complicated. Also there was not many plates, cups or cutlery.
- Wong (8/5): - Self check in was down, did multiple call were of no help after 1 hr. Meet another tourist who was able to commicate in Japanese and help to check in thru phone. Accommodation was near to train station and supermarket
- Imran (10/5): Exceptional -
(8/5): Amazing, recommended for family or friends who wanna visit Tokyo - *Convenient location for transportation to train station or bus to Asakusa.
*Polite and helpful staff that listening and try their best to reach customers need.
*Family style of flat, space for cooking, Chatting and joyful bathing experience.
*Closed to supermarket, convenience store and tax free shop, as well as the cooking facilities is enough if you wanna cook.
*The size of the flat is great, out of expectation with such price. The building and room itself is moderate condition but under good management, so it did not called as” not satisfied”, more like comfortable home than fancy hotel.
- Nomi (6/5): - Check in was a hassle coz there is no one to help. Self check in and took me half an hour to find my reservation. It kept saying I have no reservation. All communications are done through email. No actual person to ask if you have problems. When you call the number listed on the desk, it says the number is not in service.
- Mark (4/5): - Ordinarily if I have nothing positive to say, I wont say anything.
What triggered this review are all the 'anonymous' 5 star reviews. I cant see any way these reviews are from real travelers.
I will simply say this: There are so many excellent hotels around Tokyo. I would suggest avoiding this one and moving on.
- Arsyad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chun Kit (6/5): -
- Espen (7/5): Good -
- Tumurtogoo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiza (2/5): Won’t come back here - Nothing The room is not well maintained. So dirty .
- Noor (5/5): Passable -
- Flora (1/5): Bad -
- JENILYN (8/5): - Extremely difficult to find property especially at night , v v v dark , no lighted signboard, no lobby to keep luggages, quite difficult to get taxi, tv too low on table, access to 2 supermarkets 💦
- Abdul (9/5): Tokyo Sept 2023 - Staff is very helpful. Considerate. Will response ASAP
- Chow (8/5): Very good - Responsive service by the hotel The rooms and furnishings are dated and could do with a refurb. But otherwise things worked well.
- Pascual (10/5): Exceptional -
- Quang (8/5): Very good -
- Muhamad (9/5): Superb -
- Vivi (8/5): Very good -
- Lea (8/5): a good value for my money - it is close to train station the bathroom drainage is blocked. water stays in the bathroom floor
- Mc (9/5): Overall it’s a great stay except for the bad smell. - The property is big enough for 5people. We didn’t like the smell of the room, it didn’t go away even we already open the windows

- Makke19 (2/5): Do NOT book this! - What a TERRIBLE place!
During our family trip to Japan, one of the hotels booked on Booking.com,
Randor Residence Tokyo Suites.
We booked a ”deluxe family suite”, for four nights.
When we arrive there, it turns out there was nothing luxurious about it.
It smelled badly from smoke, even though they claimed it was smoke-free.
It was filthy, with stains on the sofas and dirty floors and bathroom.
Not even near the clean hotels that we got used to in Japan.
It was simply unthinkable to stay there for us, especially with two children.
All we wanted, was to cancel and move on to another hotel.
The manager, unfortunately refused to cancel the booking.
He was simply extremely rude, and not cooperative at all.
The hotel drew the entire amount from us, even though we moved on immediately.
Basically stealing.
Booking.com refused to take any responsibility for what they put on their platform.
I will never, ever use them again.
If you are travelling to Tokyo, I highly recommend the Mimaru chain.
You can book them directly, without using Booking.com.
- ErtanSur (10/5): Ideal Family Hotel In Tokyo - We stayed six nights at Randor Residence Tokyo Suites as a family of three people. The hotel is not in city center but with railway it takes about 20 minutes to Tokyo Station from the hotel. The building is on a quiet and clean street. It is very close to Machiya Station on Chiyoda Line which you can directly go to Harajuku-Omotosando districts. The Nishi Nippori Station of Yamanote Line is another station about 1 km and about 15 minutes of walking from the hotel.
The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with kitchen tools. The staff was very young, energetic, friendly and helpful. The nearby area of Arakawa has some good restaurants and a really nice and great Akafudado supermarket.
On our next trip to Tokyo we will definitelybe looking for a room at Randor Residence Tokyo Suites.
- beccamaxyi (2/5): DOES NOT LOOK LIKE PICTURES ! - We really regret booking this “service apartment”. We stayed in the “family deluxe suite” and honestly it was bad. The suite was definitely spacious but it was NOT CLEAN. The pictures online look amazing but that is NOT what you will be staying in. The bathroom walls were moldy and the tables had dust settled on them. The sofas had stains It is very expensive for what you are receiving. You are better off looking for another place to stay. Randor residences does not compare to the other fresh clean hotels located in Tokyo. We felt scammed. Will not be staying here again.
- Michael (8/5): Spacious - This apartment is worth its price. Spacious and comfortable. Cooking ware and utensils were provided. You can cook your own food and there's also fridge. Hot and cold water. THERE'S ONLY 1 LET DOWN. THE HEATER IN THE BATHROOM WAS NOT WORKING WHEN WE WERE THERE.
- Makke19 (2/5): TERRIBLE, AWFUL PLACE, AVOID IT! - We booked a ”luxury family suite” for four nights in Tokyo.
When we arrive there, it turns out there was nothing luxurious about it.
It was dated, smelled smoke and absolutely filthy.
The sofas were stained, floors dirty, bathrooms not fresh and simply disgusting. Not even near the clean, fresh places we got used to in Japan.
We just wanted to cancel and move on to another hotel. The manager refused to do so.
He was not very cooperative, and claimed that the demanded level of clean ”depends on the person”!
Also, he ”could not sell the room to someone else!”
I’m sure he could, if only he kept a decent hotel.
He was unbelievably rude. Also something we had not experienced in Japan before.
We ended up losing the entire amount, but it was worth getting out of there fast.
Just DON’T BOOK IT! You can get really nice hotels In Tokyo for the same cost as this dump.
- scanrig- (2/5): Do not book this hotel - We booked this hotel and went there but after seeing the room we turned around and went to an other hotel.
The hotel manager refused to return our money 71,250 Yen.
We made the mistake of booking a non refundable option, do not make the same mistake
The room/appartment is not wat you see on the picture's. it is comparable with a cheap hotel in Eastern europe in the 90's
The rooms are dirty, not maintaind and smoked in even if it says non smoking,
Japan is a fantasitic country and all other hotels we stayed in where perfectly clean and the staff where super friendly, so go there if you get the change but do not stay in this hotel
If you are looking for a family hotel i can recommend MIMARU TOKYO UENO INARICHO

- cherrylynlarona (8/5): CLEAN HOTEL - Good view! Nice hotel in Tokyo. Near Metro station walk for like ten minutes. Convenient store is just downstairs. Staff is approachable, sadly they got a big space but only one toilet. But still good for those who in budget in Tokyo. I recommend this apartment/hotel.
