Attente de plusieurs minutes pour que quelqu’un vienne nous asseoir au petit déjeuner, puis les œufs commandés arrivent bien trop tard, quand nous avons terminés. Dommage le manque de personnel, sinon tout était très bien.

My room was immediately above the restaurant. Impossible to sleep. Not sure it should be legal to market this room. Aside from that the decor is dated, tired and in disrepair. Stay away!

- rachelpY7654MK (2/5): Horrible! Avoid at all costs! - Believe the online reviews and book elsewhere! This hotel is a nightmare and you will not sleep one wink. Nothing about this hotel says Marriott. You will not be recognized at check-in, no standard amenities will be given, and the staff is atrocious. Prior to my arrival, the hotel contacted me via email and WhatsApp demanding that I complete a credit card payment via a link even though my credit card information had been submitted on the Marriott website at the time of booking. The message accompanying the payment link was aggressive and rude and nothing that I have ever experienced at any Marriott worldwide. Believing this was a scam, I immediately contacted Marriott corporate and asked them to investigate the matter. Unfortunately, this was not a scam and the messages were being sent from the hotel. Upon check-in, I alerted the front desk that the AC in my room was not working. I was told that an engineer would be up immediately, however no one ever came to fix the issue. Later that night, I followed up with the front desk regarding the temperature in my room and was told that a fan would be delivered. After 30 minutes and several unanswered phone calls to the front desk, I went back to the lobby to check on the status of the fan to find the female night manager hanging out with her friends, ignoring the ringing phone. She then proceeded to tell me that there were no fans available and that hotels in Paris don’t have AC, a clear lie as I come to Paris several times a year and the Marriott hotel where I typically stay happily provides AC to their guests. To make matters worse, the hotel becomes a club at night that runs until 2am. Please keep in mind, this nightclub is not marketed to hotel guests. It is a venue that is marketed to outside clientele which the hotel clearly favors over their in-house guests as no amount of noise complaints will make them lower the sound or shutdown earlier. Hotel management is clearly looking for a way to capture additional revenue as their $500+ USD rooms per night are not covering their expenses. As my guestroom faced the courtyard where the nightclub is located, as do 90% of their rooms, I couldn’t open the windows to cool the room down due to the loud music. If you are lucky, you may get a few minutes of sleep with the windows open before the trash bins are collected in the early hours of the morning. Save your money and your sanity, stay elsewhere!

Had I known the walls of my room would be vibrating to “It’s Raining Men” at one am I never would have booked this hotel. The noise levels are unpleasant. I don’t consider myself a light sleeper, but it was impossible to sleep through this onslaught. The hotel we usually stay at when visiting Paris was unavailable. I will not be returning here. I expect a certain level of noise from a hotel- street noise, other guests. This was straight up ridiculous

The rooms were a very nice size, however, the carpets were stained and some of the furniture looked tired. Our biggest complaint was the late night noise coming from their event room each night of our stay. After a transatlantic flight and exploring all day, we returned to the hotel and had to change rooms around 11pm. The evening receptionist quickly accommodated us with alternate rooms. While the new rooms were better we could still hear music in one of our rooms. The hotel staff was very responsive in addressing the noise issue, but it still inconvenienced us with having to pack up two rooms and move as well as take time out of our holiday.

- WiMadcitytraveler (2/5): Not even close to a 5 star hotel be aware if you are booked in the back section - We checked in with points and booked a Deluxe room. We were assured that as a Titanium Elite we would be very happy with our room and that it had a nice view. The carpeting was worn and frayed in places, the shower handle was coming away from the wall and water seeped between the tile and the wall, the heated towel rack was INSIDE the shower and the view was of a large metal pipe on the roof. To get to the room you walked through the service area with swinging doors to the staff area just before the elevator. Do not stay here if you are located in the back section of the hotel. The rooms are very small despite having a deluxe rating and they are great need of renovation.
- R6815DHroberts (2/5): Completely unprofessional establishment - My wife just stayed at this hotel expecting a comfortable, restful experience and instead encountered a situation that was completely unacceptable. What was never disclosed prior to booking was that the hotel hosts events during fashion week that run into the early morning hours—music, crowds, and vibrations throughout the building until early AM. As a result, sleep was virtually impossible for multiple nights. This is not an “inconvenience”—it is a complete breakdown of what a hotel is supposed to provide. If guests are effectively staying inside a nightclub environment, that must be disclosed in advance. Equally disappointing was the way the situation was handled. While there was some acknowledgment, the response ultimately lacked accountability and failed to reflect the severity of the experience. At best, this hotel meets a three-star standard, and even that is generous. There are far better options in Paris—do yourself a favor and choose one of them.
- catherineparre (6/5): The room was a disappointment - We have stayed in design hotels before but in this one the room looked like 'very used' with some things a little bit worn. There was no airco which made we had to sleep in 23-27°C. If we opened the windows there was a lot of noise from the street. When we complained about this they gave us a mobile airco but for this you needed to open the window, so this was not a solution. The restaurant for breakfast is nice. The swimming pool is small. The fitness is well equipped.

- James (5/5): Very convenient for where we wanted to be, but overpriced for the issues we had to deal with. - Very simple breakfast on offer, delicious fresh bread, a very dry and indifferent omelette and not worth the Euros 72 for two people. The room/suite itself was very nice, spacious. However the bathroom was very poor. The shower didn't work properly, the taps loose and difficult to regulate the temperature. The bath took ages to fill and was very difficult to get in and out of, being deep with no bars or similar to help.

Almost like a sat night live skit on a joke hotel, that has a great location but otherwise is a house of untrained horrors. front desk fights with customers and refuses to fix anything. Almost funny but property is unsafe. Pick another property. It is not a safe property to stay at.

Firstly, I can't say enough about the amazing staff who went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Sincere, friendly, helpful from the front office to the restaurant/bar and the housekeeping crew, remarkable service all around. Special thanks goes to Thom and Thibaut in the bar, Filip, Marco, Fred and the rest of the front office staff. Located in the 8th arrondissement near the midpoint of the Champs Elysees the location is perfect for walking as well as near the metro. The suite, the white room, was stunning, thank you Filip, and the facilities at the hotel were all well received. We most certainly will be back on our next trip to Paris and I promise no more leaving my mobile in a taxi 😉. Thank you all so very much again for your gracious hospitality and making our stay so memorable. The Macphersons

- Eesa (3/5): It’s a different hotel to that which is advertised, please update your photos - The location The pictures are outdated it has completely changed on the inside- the communal area and lobby are completely different to what is advertised on booking.com, it’s no longer covered in white sheets like the Margiela style There’s a homeless man that lingers outside the entrance every day I stayed there, quite off putting They ‘upgraded me’ without asking me when I had chosen a different suite for the aesthetic of it- completely ruined my stay. And when I asked for my original room they told me it’s not possible as someone is staying there?? So much for an upgrade they clearly double booked their suites It was clear staff are not well trained or professional to make such an error

- Ulrika (6/5): Mysigt hotell med bra läge - Väldigt bra läge i lugnt kvarter och nära till fina butiker. Mysig restaurang och trevlig personal. Tyvärr ett väldigt varmt och kvavt rum. AC:n var helt avstängd denna tid på året och gick ej att slå på enligt personalen. Vi sov därför med alla fönster öppna, men hade oturen att rummet vätte mot en innergård med leveranser, sophämtning och transporter dygnet runt. Otroligt mycket ljud! Vi fick sova med hörselproppar.

- maryfph (8/5): Solo trip - I had a wonderful stay at La Maison during a two-day solo trip to Paris. Upon arrival, I was graciously upgraded to a suite, which was a delightful surprise. The room was beautiful, with a stunning bathroom, a truly heavenly soaking tub, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Opening the windows to see the Eiffel Tower was an unforgettable touch that made the stay feel even more special. The location is excellent—both beautiful and convenient—and the staff were truly outstanding. They consistently greeted me warmly and were always happy to assist, including arranging taxis whenever needed. As a woman traveling alone, I especially appreciated the level of care, attentiveness, and sense of security they provided throughout my stay. Yes, the hallways are painted a darker color, which you may notice mentioned in other reviews, but they are well lit and feel intentional rather than gloomy. The décor throughout the hotel is modern and avant-garde while still remaining warm and cozy. Thoughtful details, such as shelves lined with books, give the space a welcoming, home-like atmosphere. Yes, I do believe they are renovating the property however, I never heard any noise.

The hotel room itself was a disappointment, small (expected for Paris) but quite plain/boring with virtually no decoration/color and amenities. For 550 Euro a night a real disappointment

The location is fabulous as it sits on a quiet street which is within easy walking distance to the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, restaurants, shopping and the metro station for touring all of Paris or catching a train to the airport. The hotel staff get a 10 out of 10, they were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And finally the room and hotel amenities were superb. Definately the hotel we shall return to on our next visit.
- poonasethi (4/5): Best avoided hotel - Best avoided hotel. If you are a Mariott Bonvoy premium member, you will be shocked to know they will not honour any of the privilege's, like. Upgrade, free breakfast etc. They will hand you a 10% discount card for one of the restaurant s Frivola something, which will be always booked for parties or otherwise. That is their way of saying we give you a benefit which you did not avail. The only free perk you might get is a 1 L Evian bottle of water. The only thing going for the hotel is location. That is it. But otherwise best avoided.

- W3862GMbriang (2/5): Ho, ho, horrible stay for the holidays - Stay away from this hotel. Worst stay I’ve had in some time. Bad room, shower broken, poor lighting, sauna out of service. Don’t be fooled by the online photos, the actual rooms are far from what they portray. I got catfished for sure.
- dangullette (4/5): Not worth the cost - The hotel is nice, clean, in a great area and the staff were wonderful. Unfortunately, the weekend we stayed had some sort of private event for a new fitness area that was not open to the guests. The hotel restaurant was also closed for the private event. So there was a lot of noise and two main features of the hotel were not available. We chose to checkout after one night instead of our planned three night stay and move somewhere else. It simply wasn't worth 80k+ points a night to stay.

- GERALD (5/5): Disappointing - Location Room was disappointing. Dark . Toilet was not in the bathroom. No air conditioning. A loud portable air conditioner had to be brought in with a large hose to the open outside window. Not a 4 star accommodation. Some of the staff , especially in the restaurant did not communicate well with English speaking guests.

- 125deang (2/5): Avoid La Maison Champs-Élysées: Unprofessional, Rude, Dated and Not Well-Run - I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. Despite being marketed as a five-star Marriott affiliated property, the reality falls far short. The rooms were unfit for a stay: strong smell of smoke (likely masked with chemicals), worn and dated décor and terrible service. Within minutes of checking in, we decided to leave and secured accommodation elsewhere (we ended up at the Kimpton St. Honoré Paris, a great hotel). What made this experience far worse than the outdated rooms, odor, and the inconvenience of having to relocate was the way management handled it. The general manager was dismissive and defensive, and the front office manager went so far as to misrepresent our stay, falsely claiming we remained in the rooms “for several hours” to justify charging an early departure fee. This was untrue and could easily be disproven, but it was clear management simply wanted to keep our money. After repeated, unsuccessful attempts with the hotel to resolve the matter, I have been forced to escalate through Marriott and my bank to dispute the charge. It has become unnecessarily time consuming, but at some point fairness and principle demand pressing for the right outcome. As a longtime Marriott member who has stayed at hundreds of properties, I have never encountered such rude and unprofessional treatment (especially at a five-star hotel). Other reviewers have noted similar issues, run-down rooms, dated décor, rude service and my experience confirms those complaints are not isolated. A true five-star hotel (or any well-run hotel). must not only maintain its standards but also treat guests with honesty and respect. Sadly, La Maison Champs-Élysées fails on both counts. There are far better options in Paris. I love visiting and so happy I found a much nicer place to stay.

Disappointed. - Let me get the positive things out of the way first. 1) the hotel’s location is fabulous; 2) the staff were professional and very helpful (with one exception noted below), and we especially appreciate Filip for his genuine interest in our feedback; and 3) the lobby and the restaurant present well. But a five star hotel? Our room suggest otherwise. While the bed and pillows were comfortable, the room was quite small and appointments (plastic lamps? We’ve stayed in nicer 3 star level rooms) disappointing. We used a considerable amount of points to be assigned the lowest level room, despite being loyal Marriott Bonvoy members (including credit card) for decades. The breakfast service bordered on rude, and we were poorly served, from incessant delays and an attempt to double charge us for coffee. The wine pours were stingy for the price we paid. And we always seem to land a Marriott hotel that is under construction or doesn’t have the services advertised. We were surprised to find out that on Thursday night, the hotel restaurant turns into a loud nightclub, with the reverberations of the music pounding well into the night. While the location is fabulous, the value for our stay was substandard. Count us as disappointed.

- Pioneer727653 (8/5): Lovely experience during my stay - I read a bunch of the recent reviews which talked about construction and below average treatment of Marriott Bonvoy members (especially at the higher levels), so I decided to email the hotel directly before my stay to inquire as to what I could expect as a Titanium member. Upon check-in I was offered a nicer room, free breakfast, and a late checkout. I arrived at nearly 11pm and was told there were no food options for me at that hour. The hotel does say that they have 24 hour room service, so I’m not sure why nobody suggested that, but I had to end up ordering through Uber. Overall the staff was very attentive to requests for extra pillows, etc. My room was big by Paris standards. Super clean. Plugs for phones near the bed. Really nice bathroom with plush towels, etc. Many reviewers talked about the poor AC. No such problems for me. I had a central air unit that worked perfectly. Construction: I did not notice any construction, but I did see permits in the window. There are two towers in the hotel. It’s possible I was in the one that did not have on going construction. Restaurant: the staff at the bar, who were wonderful, told me they had only been open four months. Maybe this is a new operator or the bar was redone. Anyway, the bar/restaurant is super cool. They had a dj Friday night and a singer on Saturday. Whenever I was there it was never packed. It seemed to have a cool 90s W Hotels vibe in cities not named New York, but was definitely French. Personally, I’d really like to see this work because it makes staying at the hotel a better social experience, but the clientele was definitely 40s and 50s, so who knows if it will. It could be a great New Year’s Eve spot. Breakfast was also in the restaurant from 0900-1030. The spread was not grand for a luxury hotel and could use improvement, but adequate. They also make omelets on order. Cigar bar: now called Blind Bar. It’s off the lobby. Great service in the cigar bar. The quantity of cigars was a little lacking, but that’s everywhere now in Paris. The quality though was top notch, but it’s very expensive. The only real issue was that I got a phone call around 12:30pm asking me when I would be leaving. The late checkout promised at check-in evidently wasn’t noted and the hotel needed the room for another guest. That’s really the only thing keeping this review from being excellent.

Staff was the best part, my parter got sick and needed a doctor and their valet called and got a doctor there within the hour. Just amazing above and beyond service, while in a foreign country. - GusSouzaNow (2/5): One of the Worst Hotel Experiences of My Life — A Complete Tourist Trap! - La Maison Champs Élysées should be ashamed to call itself a “luxury” hotel. What a joke. From the moment you enter, you realize this is nothing but a tourist trap wrapped up in pretentious packaging. First of all, half the place is under renovation. I didn’t pay to sleep in a construction site, but that’s exactly what this hotel is. Walking to my room felt like going through a dusty, soulless work zone, with amenities either missing or closed. This isn’t “modern chic,” it’s ENORMOUS disrespect to paying guests. Then there’s the smell. For some unfathomable reason, the entire hotel reeks of cheap, suffocating cologne. It’s not subtle, not pleasant, and absolutely not “luxurious.” It’s like stepping into a Sephora, only to realize you’re stuck there overnight. The so-called “design” of the corridors (especially the creepy walk to the second building) feels like someone abandoned the project halfway through. Cold, weird, sterile — it’s like living in an unfinished art installation that no one asked for. Breakfast? Don’t even get me started. It’s a scam. Before I could even sit down, the restaurant staff practically jumped on me, asking for coffee. I stand up to see what miserable scraps are offered at the buffet, and I get accosted again for my room number and whether I want eggs. How about letting me sit down first before interrogating me? The buffet itself is pathetic — a sad, stale, pitiful spread that any no-name Parisian corner café could outshine without even trying. And of course, it’s priced like gold. Bottom line: this place is a dumpster fire disguised as a hotel. My advice? Avoid it at all costs. Paris has endless wonderful places to stay — this is NOT one of them. And please, to the hotel staff: do not bother replying with the standard “we’re sorry” and “we hope to welcome you again on your next trip.” I am not stupid enough to ever set foot in this disgrace of a hotel again.

My daughter and I visited and loved the convenient location (walkable to many landmarks, Eiffel Tower) and style. The staff was absolutely wonderful at every turn. Elena was warm and helpful, Filip went out of his way to assist us with all of our needs (safety pins!), and Mario was a lovely and gracious host - he was kind enough to help with our bags and was lovely company whenever we were in the lobby. We appreciated the constant resupply of bottled water and meringues (delicious). Overall a fantastic choice when in Paris.

- MattZz1 (2/5): Horrible stay - We were so excited to spend part of our honeymoon in Paris, and we chose this hotel because it was advertised as a very nice Marriott affiliated property. Unfortunately, our experience was the exact opposite and it truly diminished what should have been a special part of our trip. The hotel and most of the rooms were clearly under construction without any indication during booking. The photos online portray elegant, well-appointed rooms — nothing like what we were given. Our room’s carpet was badly stained and carried a strong, unpleasant odor. Sharp carpet tack strips were exposed, posing a safety hazard. The walls were dented, scuffed, and in dire need of repainting. There was no central lighting, and instead of proper bedside lamps, we were given mismatched plastic construction cone lanterns that the staff insisted were “decor.” (The staff’s deceit was unbelievable) This décor was not shown in any of the photos online and looked entirely out of place. What we had was completely different than what was online. To make things worse, the staff seemed to not care at all and were unhelpful, and the management insisted that what we experienced was reflective of 5-star accommodations. The overall condition of the room was worse than what you would find in a budget motel, yet the property is priced and marketed as a high-end hotel. We had envisioned a romantic and comfortable Parisian stay; instead, the substandard accommodations and misleading advertising left us deeply disappointed. I cannot recommend this property to anyone. If you are expecting the quality depicted on the website, or even basic comfort and cleanliness — look elsewhere.

They were both professional and represented the hotel very well… they understand and model the meaning of hospitality as tru hospitality professionals.
- LesaL1234 (4/5): Great location and staff but hot rooms - We loved the hotel location and the staff was wonderful! But…. We were 3 couples and all of our rooms (located in both of the towers) were hot! We were just kinda told that that is the way it is in Paris. The staff tried and did bring a portable air conditioner to our room which helped but it had an exhaust hose that had to go out a window so we had to leave our patio door open so the exhaust hose could go out. But.. that did help cool the room. Not as cool as most Marriott’s properties but comfortable. The staff was so kind to upgrade us due to Marriott status and that was so appreciated! The lobby was cool but there appears to be construction going on in the hotel so maybe this will be addressed in the future. If it’s warm in Paris, I would consider a different property. The breakfast buffet is basic and expensive so we chose other options. The staff did try but it seemed to out of their control. As a tourist and touring all day, it is so important to come back to a cool room.

- xyq021336 (2/5): The problematic upgrade - Dear Hotel La Maison Champs Élysées Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel, which I booked using a certificate. While I had high expectations for your establishment, my experience was unfortunately marred by a series of avoidable issues that significantly disrupted my visit. Upon arrival, I was informed by the concierge that my room was not ready due to an upgrade. While I appreciate the gesture of an upgrade, the timing was highly inconvenient, as I was in Paris to attend my cousin’s wedding and needed to prepare for the morning ceremony. The delayed room readiness meant I was unable to shower or change in time, which caused undue stress during an important family occasion. Later, when I returned from the first part of the wedding and attempted to shower, I discovered that the wall-mounted faucet was damaged and the water temperature was stuck at an extremely high — almost boiling — setting. This resulted in painful burns to my skin. I immediately reported the issue to the reception desk, where I was informed that your technician was unable to fix the problem. I must ask: what is the purpose of upgrading a guest to a room with known maintenance issues, especially when those issues pose a serious safety hazard? Rather than enhancing my experience, the upgrade caused me physical harm and added to the overall inconvenience. I respectfully request that this matter be addressed promptly. The shower in that room must be repaired immediately to ensure no other guests are subjected to the same risk. Additionally, I would appreciate a formal apology and appropriate compensation for the distress and injury caused during my stay. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I look forward to your timely response.
- kellysQ4688CI (2/5): Big disappointment - Do not stay at this hotel. Upon check in I wasn't acknowledged as a marriott bonvoy member. In fact when I inquired, the lady said they're not really a marriott. Interesting because I booked through my app. The room is so tiny and when I asked about another room, I was told it's a small hotel. The carpet is dirty and it's an extremely minimal room. Bedside shelf is stained and old. There must be construction here as the grinding noise is very loud. The only good thing is the location.
- 44mrpatel (4/5): Not something I would reconsider again - Being a 5* property and based on the price, we had high expectation. But our experience was totally opposite. There was renovation activity going on in the hotel. And maybe that was the issue. But we had to change room 3 times in short duration of 3 night stay. The room allotted to us on first day was not acceptable. It had a shower from which water would spill over in entire Bathroom. After shower, it was in fact not possible to use the bathroom and we risked slipping. We told the front staff and they immediately sorted it out and told us we will be allocated a different room after 3 pm. We had asked for two separate beds and were told it will be done. But then at 3 pm, the room that was allotted to us had a single bed. We told the same and immediately were given another room. So all good till this point and we had no issues. The issue started after this. The new room's flush was not working. I am not sure what happened or why, but we told 3 times to different people and then went out in evening and were expecting it to work. But when we came back, it was still not working, and neither did anyone update us or call or do anything about it. We told this to the night staff, which again was very courteous and they immediately gave us a new room. We give full marks to the front desk staff and they were attentive and listened to us and immediately tried to resolve. It is probably the management. After this much at least the hotel manager should have made a contact with us and offered apologies. The front desk kept asking us every now and then and we really appreciate it. But the management was nowhere to be seen.
