My hotel room was so cute, updated, and very clean. I loved the view from my balcony and that my room had a balcony. Also, the hotel breakfast was absolutely delicious! I actually chose to eat at the hotel instead of finding a cafe a couple of mornings of my stay. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.

- lareinejbara (10/5): Great - I had a very pleasant stay at Hôtel Pavillon Monceau. The hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring Paris. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely kind, professional, and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent—close to public transportation, cafés, and beautiful streets, yet away from the crowded tourist areas. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

- 746cathrinew (2/5): Needs honesty and renovation before deserving 4 stars - avoid this hotel - We stayed at Hotel Pavillon Monceau and were extremely disappointed. The photos and descriptions on the hotel’s own website are misleading and do not represent what you actually get. – There was no real concierge, even though it’s listed as one of the hotel’s main facilities. – The so-called “piano bar” doesn’t exist – the management later admitted the piano in the lobby is only decorative and said they would update the website to avoid further confusion. – The room was much smaller, darker and older than the photos online, and it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke when we arrived. – The walls were so thin that we could literally hear people using the bathroom in the next room. – The pipes made loud noises throughout the night, and we barely slept. – The staff member at check-in said it was his second day, and he clearly had no training or understanding of basic guest service. When we contacted management, they apologized and admitted that parts of their website were misleading, but refused any refund or compensation — only offering a “discount on a future stay,” which is pointless, since we would obviously never return. It’s also difficult to understand how this hotel maintains a four-star rating. The overall condition, comfort and service level were closer to a two-star property. We are sharing this review so that future guests can make an informed decision. Paris has many wonderful hotels — sadly, this is not one of them.

- mariannoellead (10/5): Stay at Pavillon Monceau Hotel - We stayed in a Family room which consists of 2 connecting rooms - 1 Queen room and 1 Queen + Sofa Bed. it was perfect for our family of 5 and spacious as well. it was very convenient too as it was on L1, so we could just take the stairs down to the lobby for quicker access. There is also Franprix just across the street so if you needed anything, you can just pop by.

- nawidh2025 (2/5): Warning: Deceptive Practices and Broken Promises – Poor Management Response - I would like to warn future guests about my extremely disappointing experience at this hotel, which demonstrates unprofessional conduct and misleading behavior by management. My Experience: In August 2024, I stayed at this hotel through a reservation made on Booking.com (Reference: 4953272743). I originally booked a Junior Suite for €188.60, which was assigned on the first floor. Dissatisfied with the room, the front desk staff explicitly promised me that I could move to a 6th-floor suite the following night. I agreed to this and paid €210.40, as evidenced by my payment receipt. What Went Wrong: When I returned on August 5 to check into the promised room, I was told the suite had been given to another guest. Shockingly, the staff themselves confirmed that my reservation for the 6th-floor suite was properly noted in their system. The mistake was acknowledged by management, and after a long discussion, they promised a full refund, saying only the owner (currently on holiday) could authorize it. I was told I would receive written confirmation of the refund by August 6. What Happened Next? Absolutely nothing. No refund. No confirmation. No resolution. Despite several attempts on my part to resolve the matter amicably, the hotel went silent. Weeks later, I finally received a vague, dismissive reply from the manager claiming I never requested an upgrade (!) and that I had simply been moved to a room on another floor of the same category. This is a complete distortion of the facts. Conclusion: • Hotel does not honor its commitments • Verbal agreements are ignored • Staff admitted fault, but management denies all responsibility • Customer service is evasive, unhelpful, and dismissive Advice to Travelers: Book at this hotel only if you’re willing to risk broken promises, unreliable service, and zero accountability from management. A nice location or décor means nothing when you’re treated with disregard as a paying guest. I travel frequently, and this was among the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
- 490aarushim (8/5): Comfortable stay in a hidden gem of an area - I quite enjoyed my stay at Pavillon Monceau - I found it a great location with many different train and bus lines connecting here and lots of lovely bakeries and restaurants nearby. Friendly hotel staff as well who encouraged me to practice my French, and helped me with issues arising with my hotel room.

- abigailgH5036MA (2/5): Worst experience ever - Definitely a zero! There was so much miscommunication and unprofessionalism by the staff. I extended my stay by two nights when I checked in the person told me that I would have to move rooms for the very last night. So of course, the morning of the seventh I did not have my items packed up. Instead of calling me and letting me know that they were moving my items. They packed up all of my stuff put my stuff in trash bags and remove them from my room when they did. This many of my items were lost food that I had paid for was thrown away. They never contacted me to let me know that they were moving my stuff. They ended up blaming me for not having contact info, but whoever checked me in should have made sure that they had my contact info. So when I came back late on the seventh, all of my stuff was in trash bags, shoved into my suit cases and someone was thrown away. I was in complete shock as the person who I checked in with said I would only have to move the night of the eighth. They acted like it was no big deal and did not provide me any compensation for losing my stuff or causing problems. I would never stay here again. They were very rude and even the owner did not believe that I needed any compensation for losing over $100 worth of my stuff. This experience was very unprofessional, very unaccommodating and overall ruined my time in Paris.

We had an elegant and spacious room for party of 3 which is a pleasant surprise for a European city where "room space" is always an issue. The room where we stayed was kept spotlessly cleaned by their friendly staff. While metro access is good, just be prepared for a bit of commute/walk to the city center. It is however highly recommended for those seeking a quiet and comfortable stay away from the immediate hustle and bustle of the city.

Close to metro and 28 minute walk to Arc.

The hotel is located in a quiet district, nearby there are many restaurants and cafes. The hotel staff is very nice. about 20 minutes you can walk through beautiful streets to the Arc de Triomphe and if someone does not like walking, there is a direct connection by bus line 31 from the stop located right under the hotel. I recommend it with all my heart!!!

- Venture91812 (10/5): An excellent affordable choice for a short stay in Paris - I stayed at Hotel Pavillon Monceau for three nights and found it to be a pleasant and practical choice for a short stay in Paris. The location is convenient—just a 7-minute walk from the nearest metro station, and right in front of the hotel there's a bus stop with a line that takes you directly to Montmartre, which was a great plus. The staff were particularly friendly and always willing to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable. While the hotel doesn't have the luxury or spacious feel of a 4 or 5-star establishment, it offers good value for a 3-star hotel. My room was comfortable and well-equipped with all the standard amenities, and I really appreciated having a balcony—something you don’t always get at this level. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay without breaking the bank.

There are no slippers in the room. They don't have toothbrushes or toothpaste. The toilet is so small that the sink takes up a lot of space and you can't sit on it. The sofa bed is very dirty. The elevator and hallways are very narrow. It's also very far from the sights. Not recommended at all. They don't have tea cups. They don't have a coffee maker or coffee.

Unsatisfied with the room, I was informed by your front desk staff that a suite on the 6th floor would be available for the following night (5-6 August 2024). I agreed to the proposed upgrade and paid €210.40. Despite the verbal assurance by your staff that the 6th-floor suite would be reserved for me, upon attempting to check in on 5 August 2024, I was informed by another front desk employee that the room had been assigned to another guest. Your own staff confirmed that the reservation for the 6th-floor suite was clearly noted in your system and expressed surprise at this failure. After an extensive discussion with your manager, it was acknowledged that this mishap was due to an error on the hotel’s part. The manager committed to processing a full refund and stated that only the hotel owner, currently on holiday, could authorize the refund. I was further promised written confirmation of the refund via email no later than 6 August 2024. Despite follow-ups, no written confirmation or refund has been provided to date. - chloefort98 (8/5): Beautiful hotel - A pretty hotel in a decent location, the made us feel welcomed and helped us understand our way around. We came around the summer time and we would hindered percent be coming back.One negative I would say is that the rooms aren’t completely sound proof.

- Jacquelyn (6/5): - We had a negative interaction with a younger gentleman the last day of our stay. He was very rude and did not portray decent customer service. Our first 2 days were phenomenal. However, impressions with that particular gentlemen is why my original 5 stars turned into 3. I will not go back.

- Marc (6/5): Moins bon que d'habitude - Je suis un habitué de l'établissement. Malheureusement cette fois ci la chambre reçue (la 11) a une vue horrible sur une cage d'escalier. De plus pas de mini bar. En fait pas de frigo du tout. J'ai du laisser qqes produits perso au frigo de la cuisine. Dommage

- Karine (10/5): - Hotel propre, confortable, bien situé entre deux lignes de métro, personnel poli et accueillant, impeccable pour un voyage d'affaires. Seul bémol, les fenêtres manquent un peu d'insonorisation, mais avec la fatigue ce n'est pas très gênant.

- patricia (8/5): - Nice hotel especially for the price. I liked the location. I loved that there is a couple bakeries within a few feet. It felt safe to walk around during the day. Staff wasn't very friendly, but you are in Paris...room was very small, but we only were there to sleep so not a big deal for us. Shower was nice and warm and there was an elevator! Overall I would recommend based on the location and cleanliness of the room.

- Anaëlle (4/5): Eau glacée, aucun geste commercial - Nous avons pas eu d'eau chaude le soir, ni le matin. L'eau était glacée, nous avons dû appeler la réception, elle nous a indiqué le soir qu'il fallait laisser couler l'eau (rien n'a changé). Le lendemain, nous l'avait rappelé, on nous dit qu'il y avait un problème de chaudière. Aucun geste commercial... De plus, en faisant couler l'eau de la douche, les voisins on tapé au mur, alors qu'il n'était même pas tard. Mais bon, pour ce problème l'hôtel n'y es pour rien.
- Katherine (8/5): - The hotel was very reasonably priced for a weekend in Paris. The area is more residential, but easy access to all the sites of Paris. Nice little cafes, good restaurants and beautiful Parc Monceau nearby. The hotel rooms are very small, but everything was clean and bathrooms are modern. The only negative is the walls are the thin, and we heard a lot of noise from the hallway and neighbours!

Wel aan de kleine kant, maar van alle comfort voorzien.In de buurt zijn leuke cafés en restaurants en je loopt zo naar de Place de l'Étoile!
