We enjoyed the chromecast feature on the TV allowing us to watch our own series. Another plus was room had an ironing board and iron. Located within walking distance of many restaurants and 2 tube stations as well as several bus routes. A bit pricey.

• Marek (9/5): - Very spacious room in a nicely modernised historical building. Practical kitchenette. Good coffee machine available in the lounge. Islington is cosy and feels safe. There are also many restaurants around. The rooms are only cleaned once a week, not great. The breakfast costs 16£ and is just fine, but nothing too exciting.

The only fault with the room was the heating which if cold during afternoon and evening did not warm up. There is a thermostat but settings did not come on making it cold in the daytime.

They refused to take a reward and were happy for a relative to pick our things up although being very thorough with ID to protect us. All in all room, breakfast, environs, staff, care and support, all positive. Plenty of good places to eat nearby and transport easy. Thank you. Nothing was problematic

The shower was mouldy & the soap dish attached to the shower was full of old soap! The apartment had wood flooring throughout & our feet were black with dirt, so who knows when the floors were last washed 🥺 we also found half eaten biscuits behind curtains
• Carol (10/5): Perfect location, reasonable price for London on a Saturday night. - Great location for an event at Islington Assembly Hall, especially walking back alone after the show. Lovely having a fridge and a sofa. It had everything a person wanting to stay a few days self catering. I was only there one night and out for the evening so I didn’t get to use it. If I am being picky, it needed another mirror in the main area. The only one was on the end of the wardrobe blocking the bathroom door with nowhere to put anything down.

• Marc (9/5): A comfortable, well-located stay with excellent service and everything needed for a relaxed visit. - My stay at Citadines Islington London was excellent from start to finish. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Islington with plenty of restaurants, shops, and transport links within easy walking distance, yet still quiet enough to relax after a long day in the city. The apartment itself was modern, clean, and very well designed. It had everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a fully equipped kitchenette that made longer stays especially convenient. The space was thoughtfully laid out, making it feel much larger than expected. Ideally I would liked the bed to be made during my stay. Not a big deal but would have been a great addition.

• Emma (10/5): Comfy, fantastic staff and great location - The room including the bathroom was really clean, the bed was super comfy and the room had pretty much everything you could need including a beautiful view of a zen garden. The staff were really nice and kind and the location is great for anyone going to see a gig at The Garage only a 10 minute walk away. There wasn't anything wrong with my stay other than maybe having a full body length mirror in the room but that's me being really fussy.

Shopping mall Angel Central 10min away & lots of great local shops nearby This is our 4th stay in 12mths. This time, we had 3 nights in a studio deluxe on 4F & requested the same room on our return (went to Dublin for 1N). The lovely receptionist checked & said no problem , that room was available. When we came back we were ‘upgraded’ to R106, the room we wanted was N/A. I know R106 is a 1BR & we had paid for a studio deluxe but it was dark, the TV didn’t work and it wasn’t as clean. Bathroom was also much smaller. Disappointing end to our Citadines experience - would definitely recommend rooms on the 3rd/4th floors

• Trevor (9/5): A very pleasant and quite luxurious stay and I would have enjoyed a longer stay. - It was central to where I needed to be. Modern, attractive, safe with extremely friendly and efficient staff. I had been recommended to stay here and was not disappointed. Not a lot to dislike in the accommodation but I did notice a bit of a drain smell in the room. Whilst walking around the area outside in some areas there was a similar smell, maybe connected?

• Vivian (9/5): Great amenities and location perfect for Emirates Stadium - Stayed for one night after Champions League game at Emirates. Walking distance from the stadium (approx 20mins) so we avoided the long queues for the tube after the game. Spacious and lots of amenities if needed. Friendly reception staff who helped us with luggage storage after check out. Bathroom had a smell possibly from suboptimal ventilation and the toilet flush button was really hard to push. However it was really clean and spacious for hotel standards.

Normally London hotels are dreadful for the money you pay but this one was new, clean, spacious and very comfortable. It's located just off the High St with loads of shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc. There are plenty of bus options on the High St as well or you can walk to the Northern line or Victoria line in 10-15 minutes. The bed was extremely comfortable and the small kitchen in the room was very handy. I will be staying here next time for sure. n/a
