The location is brilliant, the quiet luxury of interiors is astonishing, the restaurants are amazing, concierge service and staff in general are super professional. I don't think we will ever stay in any other hotel in Tokyo. The Japanese set of restaurants is awesome- unfortunately we did not have time for all, but shabu-shabu and tepan are must try experience. So stylish, so professional! And live jazz in the lobby, and Evian SPA.... We can't wait to get back. You can miss the Tokyo outside the hotel, cause The Palace has it all, really.

The hotel is centrally located which really helps in exploring Tokyo. The breakfast has a lot of great choices, and there are a lot great dinner options at the hotel as well. We definitely want to stay at the Palace Hotel again when we visit Tokyo next time.

The room amenities added to our enjoyment--room humidifier, tea set, coffee, bathroom amenities, turndown service. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The service at this hotel was spectacular--very friendly and helpful. We needed help with a gift we had purchased, and the concierge and front desk were extremely helpful. We loved the location adjacent to the Imperial Palace and near Tokyo Station. Everything was great--nothing to dislike.

The level of attention to detail is remarkable — you don’t need to look for help, because the staff already seems to know when you need it. A perfect example: on our last day in Tokyo, our flight was delayed by almost three hours. We had booked the hotel limousine and I was walking toward the concierge to ask about changing the pickup time. Before I even reached the desk, a staff member approached me and asked if she could help. In less than five minutes, everything was taken care of and our pickup time was changed smoothly. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and proactive — helping with directions, calling taxis, or assisting with anything you might need. You truly feel taken care of. The room was spotlessly clean, beautiful, and very spacious, making it feel more like living at home than staying in a hotel. I especially loved the open floor-plan bathroom design. You can enjoy the outside view with the blinds open, or close them completely to create a private, separate bathroom space from the bedroom — such a thoughtful and elegant design. The balcony view overlooking Imperial Palace Park is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel also offers free bicycles, which is a wonderful way to ride around the park. The amenities are outstanding — the hotel provides a full facial care set (cleansing, toner, and lotion) as well as comfortable pajamas, which made our stay feel even more effortless and relaxing. We loved the bathroom amenities so much that we actually purchased them from the hotel, and the hotel’s signature scent is so calming that we ended up buying the home diffuser in the same fragrance. The location is excellent — close to everything and near the train station. Even when you’re in a hurry, a taxi to Ginza or the fish market costs very little. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of options. We also tried the traditional Japanese breakfast, which is a must-try if you’re staying for a few nights. Basement of the hotel has a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and massage services, which is incredibly convenient. We loved every minute of our stay. As an Amex Platinum card member, we received complimentary breakfast, a $100 hotel credit, and an upgrade (if available), which made the experience even better. Highly, highly recommended. We would absolutely stay here again.

Room was spectacular- with a balcony partially overlooking The Imperial Palace. Breakfast buffet was excellent, but very crowded. Room service food was not great- food was not hot. Three blocks to Tokyo Station, so it was easy to travel. Front desk service was spotty. Had an unfortunate issue with our LHW benefits and a terrible issue with the quality of our pillows. With all the luxury hotels in Tokyo, I would probably not stay here again.

- Tamara-Chris (10/5): Wonderful Hotel with Excellent Staff - We stayed 4 nights in a Deluxe Room, the room was spacious, well appointed, quiet, with an effective air conditioning, superb power shower and offered plenty of toiletries. Our room had a nice view of the Imperial Palace Gardens and it was kept very clean throughout our stay. The hotel is very luxurious with a wide range of amenities and it is situated in a great location where you can easily reach the Imperial Palace Gardens and the beautiful surrounding area of Marunouchi with its Gingko trees! From the hotel lobby you can go down an escalator with direct underground link to Otemachi Metro Station which can be very handy on a rainy day. From the hotel it is a short walk to Tokyo Station. The staff throughout the hotel were very attentive, helpful and extremely friendly, with the concierge giving plenty of useful information and maps. The hotel can arrange for your luggage to be transferred via Yamato Transport to your next hotel or airport, we found this facility reasonably priced and convenient instead of having to carry your luggage through train stations. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice of Western and Asian cuisines, we particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs benedict and the avocado toast. Although we didn't have time to eat in the hotel's restaurants, we really enjoyed our late room service meal. We would definitely recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return on our next visit to Tokyo.

The room and the facilities I used were amazing and had a really calming environment as there was no noise, as did the hotel in general. The cleaning and turndown service was perfect. And the location couldn't be better with stunning views. I dined at two of the restaurants which were also absolutely incredible experiences! Considering everything I got so much value for my money during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for those who are looking for an exquisite stay in central Tokyo!! I had a wonderful experience staying there and I will definitely come back again!

The staff was incredibly polite and helped me navigate to where I needed to go (the place is big so it’s easy to get lost). It’s also conveniently got a train station at the lower level which makes travel a breeze. If you want to go to the Palace, it’s across the street which is great for tourists. In terms of the room, it was spacious and comfortable - thank you for the upgrade! Had a wonderful rest while there - bed is on the firmer side which I prefer. In room dining was also great - the sushi selection was fresh and well balanced between rich and light seafood. Was also provided with a traditional Japanese tea set to brew tea which was also a nice touch! Room was in the corner so was safe from all the hustle and bustle of the main hallways. Signage could be better. For example, it took me awhile to find where the train station was at the first go.

- HotelBertie (10/5): Close to Perfection - In short, the rooms are fantastic, the location is great and the service is generally excellent. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff who looked after rooms 2101 - 2106. Best standard of housekeeping I have come across at any hotel in the world. Loved the steamed eye masks they provided as part of turn down service! I also wanted to particularly mention the extra staff just inside the entrance and just inside the concierge/check-in area, who help direct guests. They were always smiling, were incredibly helpful and really set the tone for the hotel. They are vital for providing a luxury experience and are a credit to the hotel. Area for improvement: what stopped my stay being perfect was the service in the Lounge, which I thought was quite slow and staff were particularly slow at clearing away plates. For breakfast in the Grand Cafe the staff were also quite slow to clear away plates. If the hotel improves the service in the areas outlined above, it will arguably be the best city hotel in the world. Overall, a fantastic stay and I can’t wait to come back again! I highly recommend this hotel!

The room is beautiful, the view to the Imperial Garden was amazing, and the service is absolutely fantastic. We did not try the three famous restaurants inside the hotel, but we heard they’re amazing. We just had breakfast at the hotel — they offer both Occidental and Japanese options, and it was absolutely amazing.

The hotel is excellent, large, very comfortable rooms, adequate lighting in the room, very clean, professional staff without being smothering as we found the Ritz Carlton. Breakfast was great and even allowed the opportunity to eat in the fresh air beside the hotel.

The restaurants served good food: we had a lovely breakfast every morning, had an excellent dinner in their Chinese restaurant, an afternoon dessert in their beautiful lobby lounge. Service - for everything one needed - in the restaurants, the concierge, the check in, the bell people ( mostly strong, beautiful young women) was as nice and efficient as can be.

We had mixed experiences with staff. Front desk and guest services (taxis/luggage) were good. Concierge desk initially ignored several requests for restaurant booking before we arrived despite having had my emails. They also recommended places that didn’t work out for us.

It's centrally located to Tokyo and it exceeded every expectation we had for a hotel in Tokyo. I can't say enough about their staff, there are excellent customer service, they're extraordinary ability to be helpful and very respectful to their visitors. This is a 5+ Hotel. We had one of their double queen beds on the 12th floor with a balcony overlooking the Palace Gardens. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out , we received everything we requested without hesitation. Stay at this hotel you will love it. Nothing.

Location is great - quiet but opposite Imperial Palace Gardens and walkable to Ginza, metro stop part of the building for everywhere else. Spacious, comfortable room. Charming staff. Beautiful lobby. Excellent pool and gym. We had a delicious meal at Wadakura (in-house Japanese restaurant) and price was reasonable. Breakfast was OK and an evening Japanese whisky was expensive but with live jazz. We had a cocktail in the Imperial Hotel Old Bar (recommended) but, overall, it showed how much better our choice of the Palace was for a stay.

We were a walk away from the main station and close to the Ginza shopping district. There was so much to see in Tokyo and the reception, concierge and all staff were highly professional and helpful at all times. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel and the food was truly excellent. Highly recommend.
