El acceso a coches es complicado y para llegar al hotel tienes qje subir una calle empinada. El staff es serio y reservado. En ocasiones sentí que me miraban con mal aspecto. No arreglaban el cuarto hasta la noche. Un día nos tocó llegar 8pm y apenas lo hacían. NO VENGAN a este hotel. Por lo que pagué, podía conseguir cosas mejores.

Me he hospedado en hoteles de 5 estrellas en Kyoto, y no hay comparacion, instalaciones, y desayuno mucho mejor. En el desayuno un huespued escuchaba su celular en vivo a TODO VOLUMEN y fue muy desagradable para todos, el personal del hotel no hizo nada al respecto. El desayuno no era bueno para tratarse de un hotel de 5 estrellas. No me senti en un hotel de 5 estrellas.

- Sevin (9/5): 2 nuits confortables avec une situation idéale - Emplacement et confort au top. Situation parfaite à 6 minutes à pied de la station Shinagawa avec les différents JR et shinkansen. Chambres spacieuses, bain à bulles et accès onsen et salle de sport. Magnifique jardin. Très compliqué d’avoir des chambres l’une près de l’autre quand on voyage à 5 avec 3 enfants. Mais le personnel a tout fait pour nous rapprocher voyant notre déception d’avoir deux chambres à des étages différents alors que l’on avait réservé 4 mois avant et fait la demande d’avoir des chambres au moins au même étages. Donc un peu d’angoisse au début mais finalement le personnel a été au top. 👌

I repeatedly asked to buy the white night vest but staff bluntly refused to sell me one. Most hotel do allow you to purchase their sundries. I wish you could have obliged.

I booked a two-night stay from September 2–4, 2025, only to be told upon arrival that the pool had closed as of September 1st. With outside temperatures soaring to 38°C, the closure felt poorly timed and inconsiderate — especially during an ongoing heatwave. A heads-up during booking or a more flexible closure schedule would have made a big difference.

- katie23Wakefield (4/5): A let down - As a Marriott ambassador member I spend 100+ nights a year in Marriott branded hotels and have a lot to compare with and this is one hotel I won’t return to. The hotel has a great location near Shinagawa station, just a quick 5-minute walk away, or you could hop on the shuttle bus. The hotel was clean with comfortable beds, but it showed signs of wear that hinted it could use a refresh, especially for being part of the Autograph Collection but not a major issue. The issues which spoiled our stay and will prevent us from returning are: 1. **Pool Access**: One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the pool, but we were surprised to find that access came at an extra cost. This was not mentioned on the Marriott website or during our booking process, leading to disappointment. I did double check the website and my booking. The only reference is only open in a short summer period and no tattoos in the spa. 2. **Executive Lounge**: The food offerings in the executive lounge were quite underwhelming. The selection was random and primarily consisted of cold items, unless you were willing to toast your own tomato or mushroom bruschetta in the Sakura lounge. The random food was the same each day. While the drink choices were decent, the lack of appetizing food options was a letdown. 3. **Breakfast Quality**: Breakfast was another area of concern. The options were limited, and we found the poached eggs consistently served cold, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. The first day we were rushed in and out and not made aware that there was a choice of a latte/Cappuccino and had to make do with black coffee from the urn. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly helpful, which aided. Overall, while the hotel has potential due to its location and clean environment, the unexpected costs, lack of facilities without payment and lack of food quality make it unlikely that we would choose to stay here again.

Gym and relaxation room was ace. Hot whirlpool, sauna was great too. Food was very expensive. Room didn't cool even when set to lower temperatures. Informed the management and someone came and cleaned the filters, didnt help much.

- marcon1an (8/5): Great first time stay in Tokyo - Stayed at the prince sakura based on a friends recommendation who had stayed here in the past. We arrived into Haneda at 430am and took the local train to Shinagawa Station which is a five minute walk from the hotel. I had paid for the night before to guarantee an early arrival room at the hotel. We were warmly welcomed and my Marriott elite status recognized immediately. We were given a garden view room on the 6th floor. After check in we headed to the lounge for some breakfast before taking a nap after our 14 hour flight. Breakfast was nice, it's pretty much the same every day. Includes staples like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, salad, vegetables, juices, water coffee, soda etc etc. my wife wanted yogurt which they did not have but brought us some from the restaurant. Service was impeccable throughout the property. Unfortunately we did not get an opportunity to check out the club lounges at the other two hotels or walk through the gardens. In the evenings there is an open bar and light food and desert options. The lounge does close at 930 and they strictly enforce it. There is a self service fridge for water, juices and sodas. All in all a very nice hotel and wonderful stay. Great location too. Definitely recommend it

- Carey (10/5): - Prime location just 7 minute walk from Shinagawa Station / Takanawa Gateway and all of its transportation connections (metro/subway, Shinkansen), it is a veritable oasis in the middle of Tokyo shared with two other sister properties around a green space. With the ability to access restaurants and lounges (i.e. assuming you book a club room which we did) across all of the adjacent sister properties, we always had choices on dining and relaxing. Add in an on-site 7-Eleven with its delicious snacks and Seven Bank ATM, we had everything we needed on-site. The staff were also amazing, assisting with getting our formal clothes we brought pressed and ready for a wedding we were there to attend. The staff also seemlessly handled forwarding our luggage to our next destination - Osaka for Expo 2025 - with aplumb. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely consider staying here again on our next annual visit to Japan.

- sightseeker29 (10/5): We loved this hotel! - We loved this hotel! Yes, it's on the outskirts of Tokyo, but it's literally a few minutes walk to Shinagawa Station, which is SO MUCH easier to navigate than Tokyo central station. The hotel gardens are beautiful and are quiet reprieve from the bustle of Tokyo central. They have an awesome spa with a sauna, Jacuzzi, gym and even massage chairs! There was also a Jacuzzi in our spacious room, which I don't usually use in hotels, but this hotel was very clean and it sure felt good after walking those 15,000 plus steps every day! As lifetime Platinum Marriott members, we were able to enjoy the free breakfast and happy hour in the members lounge, which was wonderful! They had a large assortment of food and high end liquors to choose from, even though it never really changed and got a little monotonous after day 5. Yes the eggs were on the raw side, but they cooked additional eggs on request. You just have to be patient on the return. It was very much appreciated and enjoyed. This hotel is also located in close proximity to a hotel, which we unfortunately had to visit, but we always take travelers insurance so no worries there and it was REALLY cheap in comparison to US hospitals. On a side note, the emergency room doesn't open until 9:00 AM, (unless you are about to die!). So weird. The hotel staff are always eager to please. We have no regrets or complaints with this hotel and would definitely return and recommend it to others.
- Dorothy (8/5): - Housekeeping gets a big thumbs up! Best turned down service I've ever had at any hotel. It was spectacular. Hotel common areas and landscape gorgeous. Rooms are standard. We ate at 3 different restaurants at the hotel. Restaurant staff either ignored us, or we got mediocre service. I never play this card, but after seeing how other guests were treated I wonder if we were treated badly because we were Black or American. Outside of restaurant service, the rest of the hotel was great.

- Michael (10/5): One of the few in the world I want to come back to - I don't usually leave hotel reviews... this is an exception. I travel so much, over 1000 room nights, and I generally don't review hotels as they are all the same. This one is different. Its a wonderful location, very easy to get to from Narita airport by train... just a short walk from the station By Japanese standards, the hotel rooms are huge. More importantly, the rooms are impeccably cleaned each day, the bed is perfect, and the hotel is a joy to return to. The morning breakfast buffet is overwhelming in its options for both western and Japanese selections. For those of you that appreciate history and nature, stroll around the gardens. They are amazing. Overall, a great value, a wonderful serene hotel with an amazing garden. I very much look forward to my next visit.
- Avinash (9/5): Lives up to the Sakura Tower promise - The Sakura bloom in the hotel is outstanding and is hard to find. Absolutely amazing. Closeness to the Shinagawa JR station is a huge bonus. The guest facilities while at the hotel could have been better.
- Simbet (10/5): Relaxing and lovely three night stay - We spent three nights here at the front end of a two-week vacation in Japan. We chose this hotel because it’s a Marriott property and one of us is a Titanium member, because of the location, and because of the attached garden (we were hoping to catch the tail end of cherry blossom season.) We loved The Prince Sakura Tower. We did indeed luck out with the cherry blossoms, but the gardens are absolutely gorgeous without them, and at night it’s stunning with the trees and paths lit up. We had a standard king room, but the room was huge. Super comfy (and enormous) bed, comfy pillows, great shower and toiletries, great temperature control. Our room had plenty of storage space for clothes and a nice little seating area. It felt like a haven as we got over jet lag! The hotel is also very quiet (definitely had a corporate/business feel during the week, with families coming in over the weekend), and we loved the location: a nice neighborhood but very close to the Shinagawa station, which made exploring very convenient. The gym/fitness center was great: Smith machine, bunch of dumbbells, weight machines, BOSU, stability balls, mats, lots of cardio equipment, etc. All really clean and also the quietest gym we’ve ever been in with multiple humans. The Executive Lounge was great for breakfast (salad and fixings, smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, awesome bacon, cereals, pancakes, fruits, juices, yogurts, make-your-own espresso concoctions…the only less-than-awesome bit were the sad pastries) but watch the hordes descending at 7:00 am lol. We also enjoyed the 5:00-7:00 pm happy hour with nice wines and a few appetizers (raw veggie platter with dip, some cured meats/fish, sushi, etc) that varied a bit day to day. The staff were all amazing: professional, friendly, helpful. We had a complicated travel plan that was further complicated by a language barrier, and the exceptional concierge called a few places on our behalf to confirm arrangements. She was really terrific! The only issues we had during our stay were quibbles: the internet is not super fast, we would've liked more storage space around the bathroom sink, and the one time we tried the restaurant for dinner we were underwhelmed with the quality. We highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again when life brings us back to Tokyo.

- Monica (9/5): Pleasant stay in a huge room. - I loved the, for Tokyo or anywhere, huge room. I liked the huge and stunning garden with the gorgeous lights etc. Really such a pleasant experience. I also liked that one could just bring the room key to get the prepaid breakfast, rather than having to bring coupons. Staff were also very accommodating and friendly. I liked that it’s so close to a Shinkansen station. I didn’t like the area so much. It feels a bit out of the way, but it’s very easy to get to other areas of Tokyo with the train station being so close. The view from our room was of a building site, which was a bit unpleasant, but the city is constantly changing, and who knows how the view will change once it’s completed. Although the lobby was modern and looked luxurious, the rooms and bathrooms were a bit old, and in need of an update.

A couple of miscommunications from the staff gave us issues with room service and check out. But they were sure to be fast in finding solutions to remedy the situation.

- pattym2024 (10/5): Horrible breakfast brunch - Great next to Shinagawa station and so convenient and great service . We stayed 2 different times in a week at this hotel. First few nights we got the side where were doing construction facing the Wing Takanawa Shopping mall side. The second time we came back we were happy to see we got the view of the cherry blossoms and Tokyo tower . What a difference!! The rooms are very clean and the service is great. The bathroom lighting is dark so hard to put in makeup and had to do it closer to the window. The only reason I am writing this review is to tell you to stay away from the breakfast at this hotel . It was awful and reminded me of what you get in the U.S. with the complimentary breakfast . The French toast was dry and the waffles awful. The juice was not fresh and remember they serve eggs runny as in egg whites as well. The breakfast was about 4,600 yen about $32 U.S. dollars and for really bad food ( I usually am not picky ) . If you want a really great Japanese breakfast go to Prince Gallery Tokyo Kioicho hotel also Marriot but luxury brand . Stay there too if you can afford it! Now that is an amazing hotel . Make sure to make reservation at the restaurant and you will be blown away by the freshness and gourmet Japanese food with quality ingredients . It’s more expensive but well worth it! The restaurant is on like the 40 th floor and all windows so you can see all of Tokyo and is gorgeous!!! Or go to the breakfast at the Hotel New Otani that has a great breakfast and gorgeous Japanese garden on the property . Well worth it ! Or go to Paul’s bakery in Shinagawa station for great croissants, coffee and sandwiches.
