It wasn’t what I expected compared to what the website looks like. We had to checkout a few days earlier and so did our business partners. One of our business partner had to keep asking to fix the air condition. It wasn’t working properly. He couldn’t sleep the first night. The next day he ask to be fixed and still didn’t worked. He wasn’t offered to be moved to a different room. After a few nights, he went to checkout and booked at The One and Only Hotel. It was very disappointing. It wasn’t what we expected. We all pretty much left the hotel. Booked us all different hotels. We didn’t get our money either. We left 5 days before our check out date. I don’t think we will be back at this resort again.

- Galina (10/5): - This is our 9th visit to Dubai and stay in this property. The hotel grounds are fantastic and pools and beach are excellent. Rooms are on a small side but perfectly fine as we only sleep there. Beds are also small unless you book a room with a balcony or twin room. We noticed that the prices for food and drinks in the hotel are creeping up and the quality / value is not the same. Some restaurants were closed during our stay. Most of the staff are excellent and very helpful. Overall our stay was excellent and we will be back again.

Grounds and amenities are beautiful and this place is an oasis compared to the busy city. Minor points, there is a large mosque nearby and morning prayers woke us up at 5:30am for the 1st to nights. Our room had a large wardrobe but no chest of drawers for our cloths.

We booked junior suite and we expected to find big fridge and microwave in the suite, but we found small and non-cold fridge, and we didn’t find a microwave. We asked the resort to provide our expectations, but they don’t.

The hotel grounds are very pleasant with tree-lined walkways to the villas. The hotel has weddings and functions which is to be expected but unfortunately some guests are very noisy when returning to their rooms after midnight. I think the best feature of the hotel is the excellent service of Seariders watersports. First rate.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Service Issues and Operational Inefficiencies - This was my second time staying here, and since COVID the service and condition has gone down a lot. The room had a lot of issue - the tub wasn’t draining, the sink faucet was broken, and the floors were filthy/not cleaned. The service at breakfast was poor - the food was a mess, tables were dirty, and staff were not able to meet the number of clients that were trying to manage breakfast. I tried to take breakfast with me to go sit outside near the pools since there was no room and no clean tables near breakfast, and the server yelled at me to leave my food and my only option was for me to do room service. I also had a 20% off of food and beverages for my stay, and the server at the pool didn’t give me the discount and when I told her afterwards she took about 1hr to verify with front desk and then told me I only had 15% off of beverages. At this point, I was exhausted to show her my hotels.com invoice that listed I got 20% off and by the time I checked out it was 4AM and I needed to get to the airport so I couldn’t ask for a partial refund for my stay. I’m sorry this has happened to the resort, because I loved my first stay but after this one I won’t go back.

The sheets were old, the plugs in my room were faulty, the bath tub stopper was stuck, I found myself showering ankle deep in water. I am so disappointing and I will never come back or recommend this hotel to anyone, easily the worst of the 4 hotels I have stayed in Dubai.
- Mark (10/5): Quiet peaceful break - Relaxing five night break during the off-season (late August). The resort was extremely quiet adding to the anticipated relaxation but still with the vast majority of restaurants etc open. If you don't mind the higher temperatures and want a nice quiet relaxing break in Dubai then this is well worth it.

- HISHAM (2/5): Rat poop 💩 - I booked the most expansive room they had (jacuzzi suite) for a romantic vacation with my woman, only to find out that the jacuzzi i paid for was broken, and when my lady tried to relax she asked for the spa and massage therapy but she was told that spa is under renewal, plus we found a rat 🐀 poop inside of the minibar.. no real customer care service, no response to our complains, no respect for our time.. ended up being stressed and angry on my vacation.. i don't recommend this place at all. 0/10

Extra charge for an ice bucket and extra cost for substandard coffee pods. Felt like a very cheap approach at a 5 start hotel. Waited over 30min to check out and cart arrival which did not happen.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Never coming back again - We stayed at the suite with an outside jacuzzi. The room is relatively clean but had lot of ants and found a cockroach in the room. The jacuzzi was dirty so had to get someone to clean it. The amount paid it is so not worth it. Security is also an issue. Encountered some male guests who were harassing us and the security didn’t say anything to stop it. Awful experience and wouldn’t recommend this place unless you absolutely have to.
- Troy (8/5): - Great pillows and beds at this resort. Very comfortable. Rooms could use some updates. Staff all very friendly. Fitness room lots of equipment.

- Rinto (10/5): - It has a nice private beach and the location is perfect since it’s close to malls beaches etc. All staff were kind to us and I especially like to thank the housekeepers for their neat work. I stayed here for a month and would definitely comeback again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - A huge disappointment. The property was not only totally old but also not maintained and very dirty. I paid for a room upgrade with balcony to oversee a dirty piece of land the neighbouring wall and some dying trees. I remember many years back the property to be the location in Dubai. Now uncaring staff, terrible property, worst part dirty with plastics, cigarette rests all over etc. Will never go there again and never recommend even the restaurants like Flooka is a disaster.

- Thamer (4/5): Thamer - The room is too old and it’s not like the pictures, also, when I checked-in the system was not working and they let us waiting for LONG time. Moreover, they didn’t give us the room key in first night and we MUST call them and wait for someone to open the room for us! However, the hotel’s location is good. So, it’s recommended to book a hotel near by other than this hotel

- Verified traveler (2/5): Not really a 5-star hotel - Pretty worn out and outdated overall, but I can live with it. Non-smoking room with a strong smell of cigarette (?) and neighbours up till late with kids running around, screaming and tossing toys all over the place. Can’t live with it! Got my room changed the following day. New room, almost identical, same floor, same number, but the bidet was gone (?). I can still live without it. Toiletries are a bit “cheap” for being in a 5 star hotel and, on top of it, one of them was half used. Really? Come on! Beach: you don’t wanna know. Like swimming in an industrial area: a tiny enclave surrounded by buildings under construction. Sun-beds are stained, umbrellas are falling apart and personnel will cover you in sand in an attempt to clean the mats. Breakfast: don’t you dare. Go outside and have a decent breakfast somewhere else. Icing on the cake, when you go out and look for a taxi they will seat you in a private one, which costs almost the double compared to a regular one. Oh, right, WIFI... lucky if you get a good bandwidth throughout the day. By the way... it can’t be even a 4 Star Hotel overall. Staff, on the contrary, is very friendly and gently, like you would expect from every hotel here in the UAE.

- John (6/5): New Year holiday. - This hotel has clearly been a quality hotel in the past. However, it is now tired and in need of renovation. Management and staff need to have more attention to detail, as standards seem to be slipping. With the prices charged over the New Year Holiday this was extremely poor value for money.

- Verified traveler (4/5): I won't go back - A very old hotel, small rooms, in front of the hotel was always full of cars. Not easy to give your car even to valet parking guys. Ask reception to give a room on the first floor, my room was on the second floor, so I carried my bags up and down. At nighttime, it's hard to find your room number, because they don't have lights. The toilet flush wasn't working right, you have to push for 20 sec to flash the toilet. With their towels, you can scrub your skin or use it in a Moroccan bath).
- Andrew (6/5): A nice stay, not a great one. - We were really looking forward to a cracking hotel stay in a five star place. This was a nice hotel. But it was not 5star. It was comfortable and so on, but the first room the water was brown. We got a new room quickly and the service was excellent, but it wasn’t quite the wow we looked for. Perhaps a few years ago this was amazing, but now it lacks the luxury You expect. The pools and beach are nice. If the hotel matched the quality of service it would be amazing.

Of course, it was during the COVID and the place was very empty, but nevertheless, the staff and the place were very reassuring regarding COVID rules, disinfection and cleanliness. I would like to return to this place for sure.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The property does not have a 5 start hotel facilities claimed. The beach is very small which is contrary to the pictures on the Expedia website. The room was only superficially and we had the sole of our feet black walking on the floor. They neither showed us around nor gave us any information about the hotel and the area. Overall very disappointed! It was so bad that we did not stay for the whole booking duration and booked ourselves in another hotel for the rest of the trip.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property had a good variety of restaurants and pools and having a local beach was also handy. There's a short walk from the apartments to the beach, restaurants and spa. Spa doesn't have steam/sauna - have to go to gym for steam. Spa treatments good selection - but a bit pricey.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - We stayed in this hotel 4 years ago and it was such a lovely experience. This time we did not have a good experience at all. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and definitely will not be staying there for a 3rd time! The hotel is very dated and needs refurbishing. The staff were generally unhelpful and we did not feel like we were staying in a 5* hotel. The only staff that were friendly and helpful were the bar staff by the sea. The breakfast was not a 5* breakfast and since it is in a much smaller restaurant the options were limited and it gets very busy. Had to wait 15 mins for an omelette to be made. Whenever we went out of the hotel we asked for a local taxi to be booked for us, but the staff always pushed us to book a hotel taxi which is triple the cost! This got really annoying each day we stayed. Why would anyone want to pay higher costs for a a taxi and it felt very unfair the hotel were pushing us to do so. The only good thing about this hotel is the beach access - but the view is awful now since they are building apartments and hotels nearby.
- Peter (10/5): - We have stayed at this hotel before and really enjoy the small friendly feel to the place. It has a nice private beach with with an excellent beach bar. The rooms are a bit tired and could do with an upgrade. Having said that I would certainly stay here again.

- Fiona (8/5): Nice hotel with helpful staff - Excellent staff, luckily got my room early and it was very clean, large and comfortable. Really nice surroundings. Nice pools and restaurants. Pools were a bit to warm but nice place to relax early evening. Suggest paying before you go if you can as the exchange rates messed up costs. Problem with my card and when refunded and put on correct card I lost £28 on refund and charged an extra £30 on the other. Great place to stay when working in Dubai though. Staff really make an effort and would stay again.
