Istanbul seems a very safe city. We never felt worried. May was a very nice time to visit as weather perfect. I must also comment on the extreme comfiness of the bed and the brilliant efficiency of the Ac. Even in May with a daytime of about 24C, it was needed.

The location is excellent, just a short walk to Sultanamet (Blue) Mosque and Aja Sofia and plenty of restaurants and shopping. The hotel has an excellent spa with Turkish bath, sauna, steam bath, pool. Massage services are available as well.

I ordered the romance package, my husband and I have been together for 50 years so it seemed like a good idea. It turned out to be fantastic! The dark chocolate fondue with fruits ( fresh and dried), nuts, candy, marshmallows...was delicious! Our room was spotless and so nice and large, we had a Premium suite. It had a nice balcony. It was quiet and elegant. Super comfy bed, lots of closet space. We had a wonderful Turkish bath here I really recommend! A real treat after being on a Viking cruise ship let me tell you!

Všechny hlavní turistické destinace (Hagia Sofia, Modrá mešita, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazar) jsou v dochozí vzdálenosti 5-10 minut. Vše bylo blízko. Snídaně byla báječná a mírně se každý den obměňovala. Pokoje čisté, pohodlné. Personál byl přátelský, nápomocný a nijak vtíravý. Klimatizace nebyla tak výkonná, jak bych si představoval, ale vzhledem k počasí stačilo na noc otevřít okno a pokoj byl plný čerstvého vzduchu. Vedlejší dům prochází rekonstrukcí, občas trochu hluku pronikalo do pokoje. Z hotelových pokojů není žádný výhled, ale to v centru města ani moc nejde.

Also, staff was very nice, they noticed that it was my daughter's birthday and when we got back to the hotel in the evening, a small cake with candles and a birthday card was waiting for us. It was a very nice surprise.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Uitgebreid en lekker ontbijtbuffet en voortreffelijke wellness. Tram was zeer dichtbij: handig overdag om iets verder gelegen bezienswaardigheden te bereiken, s morgens vroeg zorgt dat wel voor straatlawaai waarvan je wakker wordt.

La proximité des lieux touristiques. Le chauffage mis alors qu'il faisait très chaud, petit déjeuner trop cher pour ce que c'est... les coupures d'électricité dans la chambre et la chasse d'eau qui marche une fois sur deux.

Auch der Wellness-Bereich ist sehr schön, Hamam absolut empfehlenswert. Rezeption 24h geöffnet und sehr freundlich. Insgesamt sehr freundliches Personal! Istanbul ist insgesamt sehr laut, ein Schlafen mit offenem Fenster daher undenkbar... Aber da kann das Hotel nichts dafür.

We arrived on a red eye nearly 6 hours before check in and they allowed us to check in early as our room was ready. We couldn’t have been more thankful. The location is fabulous right by the T1 line and walking distance to all the historic sites and the Gulhane Bazaar (much more reasonable than Arasta, Grand or Spice Bazaar). The room and facilities were lovely. Breakfast was reasonable and varied. Staff also helped us get a transfer to the airport for a reasonable rate. Lastly, we appreciated that they were eco-friendly! We’d stay here again! Nothing

Matratzen etwas zu weich für unseren Geschmack, Wellnessbereich und v.a. Innenpool ziemlich klein. Aber dafür großzügige Öffnungszeiten. Der ebenfalls sehr kleine Fitnessraum könnte eine Auffrischung vertragen.

- angiesK1506QQ (10/5): It has to be Romance Istanbul Hotel❤️ - Just spent 4 nights/5 days at the Romance Istanbul Hotel. The hotel is fabulous, we are just having tea and cake in the hotel (every day 2-4pm and free) before we are picked up to go to the airport😒 This is also where breakfast is served, buffet style and also a menu to order from giving you an extended choice, we were always full after breakfast. Our room on the 3rd floor was excellent, had tea making facilities which came in handy, we just asked at reception for some fresh milk that we kept in the fridge in the room. The shower was amazing which made up for my disappointment of there not being a bath. We made use of the spa facilities, although the pool was small it was just nice to do a little exercise and get rid of the aches and pains from so much walking. The sauna was great but the steam room was a little too hot for me. The staff were also amazing throughout the hotel, friendly and professional which always makes your holiday more enjoyable. If/when we return we would definitely be staying at Romance Istanbul Hotel🥰
