- Yaone (6/5): Certainly good enough for a one night stay to wait for flights out of MCO. - The location was perfect, big rooms, hospitable staff. A variety of restaurants within walking distance. There was an unexpected charge when I checked in, the staff said it’s a “known charge among their clients” as a Sercurity deposit. The bedding looked aged and the duvet cover doesn’t cover the entire duvet, looked like it was not pressed or ironed. The breakfast leaves very little to be desired, a far cry from continental breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was consistently kind, welcoming, and highly professional. Their genuine care for guests truly made our stay enjoyable. We would especially like to recognize Sabrina at the front desk. She went above and beyond in a way we will never forget. When we discovered that a small kitten was trapped inside the engine of a car, Sabrina stepped in with compassion and determination, helping to safely rescue it. Even a gentleman working at the hotel restaurant joined in by sharing part of his burger to feed the kitten. What made this act even more special is that Sabrina chose to adopt the kitten herself, ensuring it would have a safe and loving home. Her kindness and willingness to help in that moment spoke volumes about her character and the values of the hotel team. It’s not often that you encounter such a combination of excellent service and heartfelt humanity. We are truly grateful for the experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again to Sabrina and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. - Erin (1/5): - There was a fire alarm that went off during our stay. My family rushed outside and waited on the side of the building for 20 minutes. No one came to tell us anything. We decided to walk to the front of the building where the fire truck was. Again, no one told us anything. The fire alarm finally turned off. No one told us if we could come back in. People started walking back into the building, so we followed. I asked a man that worked there what happened. He said he couldn't tell me anything. I smelled gas in the lobby and so did another lady. The man that worked there said it "should" be ok to go back into the room and that was not a good enough answer for me. Not impressed. Communication was awful. Lady that worked next him didn't say a thing. The front desk associates do not display confidence. Pool was awful. Tiny and dirty. Where is the hot tub? The mushroom that sprayed wayer out of it was a terrible set up. No one wanted to go in the pool. For a Hilton hotel, you should be ashamed. Shower had hairs in the tub. Needs an update for sure the shampoo and conditioner smelled awful, like axe cologne and that's for a man. Yuck! Elevator was ancient. I could go on amd on.

The lobby was aesthetic and beautiful, with very inviting seating and ambiance. The decor was visually appealing. Whoever the interior designer was did a remarkable job. Golds, blacks, whites, pops of colors. We stayed for dinner and service was on-par with a decent selection of food, similarly tasting delicious. Glad we dined in versus using a food delivery service. Breakfast was similarly tasty and plentiful. This was a pre-cruise hotel stay, a solid 5 stars. Stayed with 2 teenagers….who approved as well!

My last two stays here however, my wife and I were very disappointed with the poor breakfast service and mandatory gratuity that that was added to the bill. When the server took our order and we asked for coffee, her response was its "over at the coffee bar" and pointed. We had a similar response from her when we requested fruit in lieu of breakfast potatoes. We are both former servers ourselves and recognize the importance of good tipping, but this wasn't good service and then to have an added mandatory 18% tip tacked onto the bill......

This hotel is very close to the airport and offers a free shuttle (call when you get your bags and ask the hotel where to meet the driver). If you need a nice place to stay before a cruise, a flight or begin your amusement park adventure, this place fits the bill.

- bobettern (8/5): Pre Cruise Stay - I chose the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Airport for it's location and the convenience of the airport shuttle and an onsite restaurant for breakfast. The hotel and rooms were well-appointed and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful including the shuttle drivers. The noise of the airport in the late evening and early morning hours did not disturb me as much as the slamming of guest room doors, especially the side door at the end of the hall. I would definitely pick a different room the next time! All-in-all, I enjoyed my stay and would consider this hotel again.

Hats off to Johanna, Beatriz, and Mafer for getting every morning started with hot coffee, tasty breakfast and a smile!

She was excellent as my server, attentive to my order and showed a sense of urgency to get my order to me on time. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. Very good service

- Leanne (9/5): Highly recommend. - Everything was very clean and well kept. Just one mile from the airport and close to lots of restaurants. The staff were very pleasant. You can do laundry on site. Will definitely stay here again The bed was a bit stiff.
