They only offered me a portable bed for my son but this is not the service I paid for. Additionally room was cold and we needed convince the staff about the room temperature for them to bring heaters to the room. We were not satisfied with the stay and personally do not recommend this hotel and staff. There must be a compensation but nobody bothered to correct their mistake.

Мы пользовались экскурсионным автобусом, остановка которого находится в нескольких шагах, возле оперного театра. Очень удобно. Едешь, слушаешь, захотел зайти во дворец, например, посмотрел и вернулся снова на этот автобус. Завтраки в отеле выше всех похвал. Голодным не останется никто. Мы через несколько дней решили съездить в Зальцбург, а затем вернуться в этот же отель. Нам на рецепшин сделали апгрейд номера. Сказали за то, что мы выбрали их отель дважды. Спасибо большое.

KUNIKO (5/5): がっかり - 立地。朝食に和食がある点。 7年前にも宿泊したが、同じ価格でも部屋が狭くなり、また、サービスも落ちていてガッカリした。部屋の掃除をしてもタオル補充もなく、朝食時のスタッフも愛想が無い。オーダーした卵料理も最後まで提供されなかった。前回が良かったのでリピートしたが、3度目はない。

Masha (1/5): - This was unfortunately not a five-star experience. Our bathroom flooded, and although we were told it was fixed, it flooded again the next day. We were also woken up at 7:30am by cleaning staff for no reason, and later disturbed again despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign on and being on business calls. The terrace was not properly cleaned and had no cushions, so it was unusable. While the staff tried to resolve the issues, there were repeated mishaps throughout the stay. As compensation, they offered to waive parking, but even then attempted to charge part of it. Overall, disappointing and not up to five-star standards.

Ali (3/5): Terrible stay, unprofessional staff. - The hotel location is great on the ring-road and close to many shops. While I understand it was a period of transition (apparently hotel operator had changed to Eurostars just few days before we stayed there) , this was by no means an excuse for the below-average quality and lack of professionalism and courtesy of the staff. We were meant to wait a very long time to check in, without any explanation and then the check-in staff were pressurizing me to sign-off on a paper for check-in even thought it was someone else's name. They then 'tried' to apologize by giving us some useless chocolate from Eurostars that they dumped on the table inside the room. After 1st night sleep and going to city, we returned shocked with rotten fish smell inside the room, and only after escalating to the manager did we finally get given a new room. I found for the price we paid, we were given a very bad experience and this was by far the worst 'luxury' hotel experience I have come across. I hope they manage to fix their issues.
_H5330LZ (6/5): So so - Pros: location, 2 restaurants, good breakfast, breakfast until 11:30. Cons: at 11:20, the breakfast staff rolled up a cart without warning and started clearing the buffet. They didn't remove the plates from your table and carelessly dropped an omelette on it while taking food from the buffet at 11:20. This continued for two days. They were shouting loudly as they were clearing the table and it was passive aggression to make us leave without finishing our meal. At exactly 11:35 our table and another table were completely cleared, we were not allowed to take the fruit and the staff was extremely rude. P.S. The guy at the reception sent us to an Italian restaurant which was very bad. Do not send tourists there.

Персонал на ресепшен , за исключением Ольги был не дружелюбен и не расторопен . Посоветовали для ужина очень плохой итальянский ресторан . Завтрак заканчивается в 11:30 . Но в 11:25 без предварительного предупреждения начинают убирать буфет . Мы сидели возле буфета и три сотрудника прикатили тележку и начали демонстративно шумно кидать продукты . Менеджер отеля посмотрите камеры это было 02 апреля 2026 года в 11:25 -11:35 . Мы ели как на вокзале . Это было унижение для гостей от плохого персонала .
Nicholas (10/5): Delightful stay in a beautiful hotel in the heart of Vienna, just next to the Opera. - This is a beautiful hotel, in particular the larger rooms facing the Ringstrasse. No issues with noise as the double glazing is very effective. The gym is fairly small, but the sauna and steam room are excellent and very luxurious. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend, although it isn't cheap so needs to either be a treat (or on expenses!) Nothing.

Сильно гремят всячески показывая , что гостю нужно уходить . В день отъезда мы пришли в 11:10 и в 11:20 прикатили тележки и начался ужасный шум . Персонал в непосредственной близости к нам , не смущаясь кидал еду на тележку, создавая ужасный шум . В 11:35 было все убрано . Это было ужасно .

И когда утром в 4-20 начались строительные работы, мы были в шоке, нигде этого не сообщали. Как можно жить в таких условиях? Имейте в виду это, что жить возле стройки невозможно, и администрация отеля ничего не делает.

O hotel é muito bem localizado e muito elegante. Espero que os novos proprietários Eurostar mantenham o charme do hotel mas o renovem com comodidades dos tempos modernos. Hotel limpo e funcionários atenciosos.

Breakfast good but reception and housekeeping a bit hit and miss and the stunning 1870 restaurant now used for half board rather than top luxury. Seems to have slipped from 5* to 4 at best, just since we visited last year. The feeling of luxury has gone, more like “cram ‘em in” shame but plenty of other great hotels in area.

motzkitrash (10/5): still imperial - Perfect location from a walkable distance to underground and trams AND also to the opera and the pedestrian zones on the way to Stephansplatz. We had already stayed here a couple years ago albeit in a different floor/rooms, though I don't know if there were changes after the Eurostars takeover. Our room felt a bit narrow now and there was a missing plug to switch on the lamps by the bed, though we did not need them so we didn't complain about them. The bathroom was also smaller but again, I suppose that's on it being a different room/floor. Clean to the core and with perhaps the most wonderful breakfast (BENEDICT EGGS ALL THE WAY) out of all the hotels we've stayed at in Europe. The staff at the front desk seemed interns or newbies and despite a hiccup or two, lovely at every encounter. Loved seeing familiar faces at the breakfast room though. The biedermeier/belle epoque/victorian environment gives the hotel its magical vibes that made me fall in love with it back in 2024 and fortunately are and hope will stay there forever.

alec (8/5): - Perfect location but we had an unpleasant experience with the room. The first day had no hot water and the bed was as hard as a rock, but they accommodated us the next day with a room change and it was much better. For an experience like this, I would say it was too overpriced.

The collaborative atmosphere of the staff was also nice. The room was a bit old but spacious and comfortable with the necessary amenities. The concierge was also friendly and helpful The reception was efficient but not top notch considering the status of the hotel. They had little information on the restaurants beyond basics for arrangements during the holiday period. Communication with the cleaning staff seemed limited.

Room was small ,none to change to but bathroom was really nice with robes and slippers , Loved where we were in Vienna …beautiful city . No drink on arrival or water , Worn and tired looking , No handcream in bathrooms ,heated floors in bathrooms or towel racks heated .Rooms rust in my bath tub , No milk in frig for coffee ( long life) Needed extra blankets pillows (none in room ) Little biscuits for tea ?? No bath salts for bath Lack vibe for modern look …. Need some modern twist say a longe like the G in Galway . New Year was poor ,band in wrong position upstairs …great band from MSC ….
