- 945dennym (10/5): Perfect stay, will return - Beautiful building, conveniently situated amongst the shops, bazaars, eateries and attractions with balconies for watching the sun rise over Istanbul and the life on the street below. A little off the busiest of streets so more peaceful during the night but enough of life going on that it felt safe and interesting at all hours. Super close to bus, train, metro and ferry (less than 10 mins to each with one metro station outside). For me, the best part of staying here was the amazing, fresh and delicious breakfast with lovely little changes daily. Breakfast always felt peaceful and relaxed. A very short walk to the main bazaars and mosques and a lovely walk at that. The staff were very welcoming and always on hand day or night and I think because it’s a family-run business they take a great deal of pride in the building and services they offer. Loved returning to a clean and cool room after hot and dusty days travelling around Istanbul. Slept really well. Clean and cosy room, lovely spacious bathroom. Gorgeous hallways with a spiral staircase in keeping with the original 19th century design. Also a lift to access all floors. Had an intimate and relaxing feel.

- 344mejm (8/5): Highly recommend in a convenient location - Nice hotel in a near perfect location for shopping and sightseeing This location is close all forms of public transport ferry, train and trams Maybe a 10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Sophia Hagia. 10 minutes walk to Eminonu ferry port and Galata bridge Location is good for shopping at spice bazaar and grand bazaar Plenty of eateries nearby with good variety of choices Rooms are a little small but cosy
- 846walaak (2/5): The worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! - They cancelled our booking once we complained about room lock issue, that we simply asked in a polite way for a fix or getting an alternative room. Yet, the guy in the reception (Aly) instead of apologizing and fixing the room, he cancelled the room booking and left us with no option rather than leaving the hotel. When we escalated the issue to the hotel manager she didn’t offer any help as well and was extremely unprofessional. I don’t recommend this hotel as they know absolutely nothing about customer service.
- Kathryn (10/5): - I was a little concerned about the elevator. One day someone was working on it. A couple of times I would use it and it didn't always seem as if it was functioning properly. There were a few nights when the hotel was very cold. I was told about a customer who insisted that the hotel set the temperature very low. I thought it was not a good idea to make everyone suffer because of 1 customer.

- Frank (10/5): - Very clean rooms, cold air conditioning. Staff is very friendly. Very close to metro, hagia sophia, Topkapi palace and grand bazaar. Breakfast was good, typical of what you find in all hotels in this area. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Television has very limited channels, mostly just news channels.
- Wayne (10/5): Hotel Stay Istanbul. - Nurset Bey Hotel Istanbul was a fantastic hotel, with a great location, immaculately clean, extremely helpful, caring staff, who were genuinely concerned for the guest wellbeing. Staff went out of their way to ensure every guests’ needs were met. Good breakfast served daily at convenient hours. I would highly recommend the Nurset Bey Hotel who is looking for reasonably priced accommodations, with a great location and staff in Istanbul, Turkey.

- Alex (10/5): Great location and wonderful staff - I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Its location is ideal as the hotel is close to many historic sites and local transportation (a few minutes walk to the tram line). The room was clean, and the breakfast was healthy and filling. The best part of the hotel, though, is its staff, particularly Ali and Emrah. They are courteous and so helpful. They arranged COVID testing for me at the hotel, directed me to sites of interest and restaurants, and helped me understand how to get back to the airport. Thanks, Ali, and Emrah. You guys are great! I hope to stay at your hotel again in the future.

- 456kaya (8/5): Clean hotel in good location - The location is perfect, very close to Sultanahmet, the spicy market, the grand bazaar, the galata bridge.... The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We felt immediately welcome and taken care of. The decoration of the lounge and breakfast area is beautiful. The rooms were very clean, except from a small carpet on the floor.The room and bathroom were rather small for 2 personnes and have not enough storage for personal stuff and clothes. Breakfast was very good, nicely presented but limited choice of bread.
- Suriyon (10/5): Great location for Sultanahmet - The hotel locates at the centre of Sultanahmet; it is close enough to walk to many tourist places such as Hagia Sophia, Galata tower, Egyptian bazaar and Tokapi palace. It is also close to the tram station and metro station. However, bare in mind that if you travel by normal airport bus (IST20), you have to walk for a while to reach the hotel. The cleanliness and staff of the hotel is very nice. Its breakfast is good although there should be more variety of food to choose. One thing that I think need to improve is the water system. Hot water in the hotel is not really hot, and water pressure is quite slow. It might not be a problem if you travel in Summer, but in Winter you might feel water is not enough warm. Moreover, the sink does not have warm water, so in the morning it can be very cold to wash face at the sink. Overall, nevertheless, it is a pretty lovely hotel to stay.
- SallyP57 (10/5): Excellent hotel very centrally placed - We spent eight nights here to see the main sights in Istanbul. The hotel is quite small and personal and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent as a base to visit Haghia Sophia and the Blue Mosque which are within walking distance as is Topkapi Palace. The metro station for the Marmaray train to the Asian side of the city is about 30 metres away. All in all an excellent choice with easy access to all of Istanbul's old city, and close tram links for further afield.

I spent over three weeks at this hotel, the staff are so friendly and wonderful, very helpful as soon as you meet the receptionist desk you welcome with smile makes you feel like home, multi thanks to Mr Ali, he’s so friendly and very helpful in many different issues, as well my thanks to Mr (smile) Imran, Mr Erkin, and Mr Abderraof. The Hotel very close to most historical places and steps to restaurant and the water site. Very clean, new bed and nice atmospheres. My best wishes to the owner Mr Bahader, and lady Jakan, and not to forget to mention the lady at the cafeteria Mrs Nurtan makes amazing breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel for everyone. They renovated the place meticulously with elegant taste to make it a comfortable second home. The location is perfect in the heart of old city, just next to Marmaray entrance, a few steps from Sirkeci port and train station. The tram and busses have stations close by to every destination in the city. The region itself is very close to the main historical buildings, local well known restaurants and shops, Spice bazaar and grand Bazaar. The rooms are clean, bathroom amenities, linens and towels are very good quality. There is a fridge and a tea kettle in all of the rooms. free freshly brewed tea and Turkish coffe is served all day to the guests to make you feel like your home. You will love stay there and may prefer to visit back again.
