- peirrel2026 (2/5): 1 Star - I had a very disturbing experience at this hotel. During my stay, my work laptop, AirPods, and portable charger were stolen directly from my room. These items were not misplaced — they were left inside the room and went missing while I was out. The only individuals who had access to my room during that time were hotel staff (housekeeping or maintenance). I immediately reported the theft to management and filed a police report. What makes this situation even worse is the complete lack of follow-up. After the initial report, my calls have repeatedly gone unanswered. There has been no meaningful communication, accountability, or sense of urgency regarding a very serious issue — especially considering this was a work laptop containing sensitive information. Guests should not have to worry about their belongings being taken from their room, nor should they have to chase management for basic communication after reporting a theft. I strongly advise future guests to use extreme caution with valuables. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again.
- BarryDStanton (10/5): Fabulous stay - Stayed here for 10 days. The hotel has recently been refurbished and is of a very high standard. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds and a modern updated bathroom. The breakfast is very good and the service is second to done. The staff are very friendly and attentive led by the hotel manager Alix who could not have done any more to make our stay as memorable as it was. This hotel will not disappoint
- 857kenaia (10/5): Amazing - Wow, such a nice place! From the moment we arrived, we felt really welcomed. Our room was super nice, with a pool view. The hotel is newly renovated and very modern. They have a pretty good breakfast, but it’s extra. Honestly, I’d definitely come back. Big shoutout to the whole staff for taking such great care of us
- adelyner2025 (2/5): BEWARE!!! - ⭐️⭐️ (2/5) – Beautiful hotel, rushed opening, major issues Let me start by saying this hotel is beautiful and has a LOT of potential. The rooms are modern, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. Housekeeping and staff are AMAZING, friendly, professional, and truly doing the best they can. None of this is their fault. That said… this place should NOT have opened yet. • There is a $35 early check-in fee, which would be fine if everything else actually worked. • The phones do not work because the hotel “doesn’t have a landline yet,” so you cannot reach the front desk from your room. • Laundry facilities were out of order my entire stay. • Back entrance doors are locked and your room key does NOT allow re-entry. If you park in the back, you must walk all the way around to the front lobby every single time. • No elevator. If you have luggage, good luck carrying it up the stairs. • Internet was in and out the entire stay. • The TV in my first room did not work. Now the biggest issue and this is unacceptable: When showering, sewage came up through the drain. Yes, literal poop. This happened to me AND at least three other guests. I had to be moved to another room. That alone is a health hazard and should have shut everything down immediately. Again, the staff handled it as best as they could and were incredibly apologetic and helpful. But management and ownership seriously need to step up. This was clearly a rushed grand opening, and guests are now paying the price for it. This hotel needs to close temporarily, fix the plumbing, access issues, elevators, laundry, internet, and basic amenities, then reopen properly. Because right now, pretty walls do not make up for broken systems and sewage problems. It’s a shame because this place could be great. But until these issues are resolved, I would not recommend staying here.

- 762samirp (2/5): This hotel is a scam! - Don't stay in this hotel!!! They charge $100 deposit fee and never refund your money back. Every phone, email which you try to contact them doesn't exist. A true scam to get money from people If you don't trust me check another review to see what people say about this. About the hotel there are very strange people staying at reception lodge all day, I don't think they are guest probably homeless people which they allow to stay there. There's no room service even if you stay one week. The corridors stinks. Get another place to stay.

- Brian (2/5): Worst stay in a hotel EVER - After making the booking i was informed the pool and restaurant were closed. It should have said so before I booked. Upon arrival I saw that there was a total renovation going on with workers and dust everywhere. I asked if there was any coffee available-No, I asked where the ice machine was- we don't have one it was removed for the renovation. When I got to my room, which was neat and tidy, there was no chair to sit on at the desk so i had to go back to reception and ask him for one, he was very helpful and fetched one from another room. After I had finished working i went to get a shower-the valve was broken and partially removed so i couldn't have a shower. I then went to wash my face - there was no hot water. I thought i would sit outside and take in the evening sunshine with a cocktail, after id had to drive to 7/11 for ice. There were no chairs outside anywhere on the property so i went back to my room to watch some TV- that didn't work either just a frozen pixelated screen. All in all this was the worst hotel visit i have experienced in over 50 years of travel in many countries around the world including the third world. That hotel should not have even been selling rooms at this time and i feel as though i was scammed. I am going to apply for a refund

I've already contacted my attorney.

- Matthew (2/5): - This property was a complete joke. Stay away at all costs. They are in the middle of a full rehab of the property and only a small portion is available. They should just shut it down until they are completed. It's loud and dirty because of the construction. The available units are very outdated with exceptionally uncomfortable beds and stained bedding. Security gates don't lock. The pool, hot tub, and club house are all out of commission, meaning absolutely no amenities. Yet they have the audacity to charge a 'resort fee'. The staff is incompetent and unethical. I extended a 'night' even though I had an afternoon flight as I needed a few more hours of sleep after an early morning meeting following a very poor night sleep, as I couldn't check in anywhere else. After I extended and before I had returned from my meeting, the staff had entered my room for no justifiable reason, completely rummaged through my stuff and stole a nice, new, $40 shirt of mine. When I brought it up they completely dismissed it and acted like I was delusional. The reality is they are thieves taking advantage of their customers. Oh, and threw all of this I couldn't reach anyone at the hotel's reception desk as they simply don't answer their phone; as I checked out I witnessed them just letting the phone ring incessantly with no care to provide service to their guests. Other things to note, they don't provide basic things like hangers & bathmat, the toilet wouldn't flush, the furniture was broken.

They should shut it down until it's finished. Construction makes it loud and filthy. The units are old, with rock-hard beds and stained bedding. Security gates don’t lock. The pool, hot tub, and clubhouse are all out of service—so there are zero amenities. Yet, they shamelessly charge a "resort fee." The staff is incompetent and unethical. I extended my stay for a few hours due to an afternoon flight after a sleepless night. While I was out, staff entered my room without reason, rifled through my belongings, and stole a brand-new $40 shirt. When I confronted them, they dismissed me as if I were imagining things. They're thieves preying on guests. To make it worse, their front desk is unreachable—they just let the phone ring. As I checked out, I saw them ignoring calls with no regard for guests. Other issues? No hangers, no bathmat, a broken toilet that doesn't flush, and damaged furniture. This place is a joke.

Half of it's closed for construction, and they are renting out the other half, which is falling apart, full of insects, old, dirty, smelly, the beds have two worn-out pillows, the towels are stained and full of small hair, old, and look overused, the refrigerator and microwave look like they haven't been maintained for years, the TV is also too old and has no working channels. In fact, everything in the room is disgusting and uncomfortable. It's incredible that they offer service in a place like this, at any price it's expensive.

- Gusna (2/5): - I booked a one night stay February 14-15 and around 4 in the morning I couldn’t get into my room because the key card wasn’t working and no staff was there to reset it I was up for almost an hour not being able to get into room and ended having to stay at the friends so the hotel was a waste. There should be someone there 24 hours, hotel was a waste.

There were mold in the curtains, no Wi-Fi, weak toilet bowl, very old bed sheets, no laundry facility, no shuttle to parks, no ice machine, broken fridge. I had to buy myself data ti plan my trip. Everything was broken, even the door. I could not get any help with this hotel. The hairblower broke. There were no light in the restrooms at entrance. Avoid !!!

- Lnihiser (2/5): Disgusting hotel - This is the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I do not recommend them at all. The front desk staff were extremely rude. The room itself was disgusting. The air conditioner was so loud. I had to turn it off. Now let’s talking about the bathroom the toilet would not flush unless you held it for I don’t know how long it was totally disgusting.

I was told that there would be water, tea or coffee and the staff when I asked said no. The staff were absolutely well. They ignored you so it was horrible. I don’t recommend them at all. I think Hotels.com needs to look into this mess
- Ciara (2/5): - guy at the front was nice enough, but everything else was terrible. toilet didn’t flush— had to fill up an old subway cup from the sink multiple times just to get enough water to get it to go down once. my curtains were nailed to the wall for some reason so i couldn’t open them to see outside or let any light in. worst of all, my airpods went missing from my room! i got ready in the bathroom, tossed them on the charger by the bed before leaving for the day. got back around 8 hours later, airpods gone but charger still there. asked about it at front desk and they claimed they had no idea. sure.

- Carlos (2/5): - When I get there 1/10/2025 They gave me a room 1114 without hot water, toilet do not flush, the door you have to slam it to close it I have to cross to the Walgreens to use the bathroom and in the morning use the bathroom lobby, I tell the front desk my situation and they told they couldn’t accommodate me and my wife in other room, thank god we only stayed there for 2 days. Worst Hotel ever.
- Darnell (2/5): - The hotel was undergoing reservations but upon calling the staff said renovation would be completed before my stay , that did bot happen there was no pool, laundry or dining amenities available. I booked an 11 night stay so laundry services at least was needed. I am not sure what the policy is but my entire stay housekeeping never came to my room, even after I placed the dirty towels which we only used to stand on outside of the shower in the corridor right outside of the room they never replenished so I ended up purchasing a cheap bath mat on my own. We walked around the room in socks and the bottom got really dirty as though the floors had not been cleaned in a while, and in walking the hallway there was a blue and pink capsule on the floor for at least 8 days that I was there. I went to the front desk for the basic bathroom amenities i.e. toilet paper which they only supplied one at a time. They informed no extra pillows are alloted to rooms. There was no night latch on the door just a flimsy lock so we would stockpile all the suitcases at the door every night. I live outside of the USA and roaming can get very expensive so free wifi at a hotel is expected even if its in the hidden fees but for almost 3 days the hotel was without wifi so in between roaming and racking up charges I would have to walk in front of restaurants to connect to their wifi. To top it off the bathrooms stopped flushing on the last day there. This was the epitome of the hotel from hell.

The rooms are gross and falling apart. The pool is under construction. No phone in the room and had to walk to the front desk to ask for things. They don't have shuttle service and food. They have nothing really. Please don't book here. This place is garbage.

- Verified traveler (2/5): STAY AWAY - This place should be condemned. Room is filthy, roaches everywhere, not to mention it isn't up to code. There was no smoke detector on the wall, the plugged in lamp by the bed had exposed wires and they couldn't even be bothered to hang the curtains up completely. You couldn't pay ME enough money to stay here again.

There were roaches everywhere on the furniture and some in the walls. The air conditioner stunk when turned on and the room itself had an awful smell. I waited 20 min to get checked in with no apology for the wait time. Not worth the price! It was terrible!!!
- Amal (10/5): - Fourth stay at this hotel. Definitely my Orlando home. Love the staff, the service, the location. Simple and affordable but everything you need! Love it for EDC Orlando! Staff accommodated my best friend and I as we wished and made us feel at home. The manager is a beautiful woman who is helpful and her staff are well trained. They will see me again soon
- mariann (2/5): Totally disgusted. - The hotel was under renovations which was not advertised on the website. The room Head molding coming off the walls. We were in our room and somebody else used it there key to get in our room and it unlocked the door. And due to the renovations the pool was closed And so was the continental breakfast. The room I stayed in the shower. Bar was not attached to the wall. And I got one towel. Then I had an unexpected family emergency. And I had paid for the whole week and only been there one night. And they refuse to give me a refund. I would not recommend this hotel

The pool was not available and there was no breakfast. They only had coffee in the lobby but it was not always available. I had visited the hotel in previous years but found it to be in disrepair.

- Shanda (2/5): Do NOT Stay Here! UNSAFE! - We checked in while being evacuated from our home during hurricane Milton and immediately found the hotel to be disgusting and not up to code. It should be condemned. The room was falling apart, it was disgusting, and the water from the rain was seeping in the walls. We immediately went to the front desk and checked out and said we would not stay there. They would not refund our money for our two night reservation. They are crooks and the property should be closed down in its condition. Guests were actually calling the cops it was so bad. Run away from this hotel.

Not to kention the big balls of ANTS that wre plaguing the vathroom. I couldnt put my toothbrush or anything else in there for fear of it being infested. They also had all the dcposed wires from the ceiljng necause they were missing evey other ceiling panel.

The bathtub was old and a bit rusty and if you wanted hot water, the water pressure was low. People were smoking weed nearby since it smelled like it while passing through the halls. It wasn’t wheelchair accesible.
- Elena (6/5): - The staff were lovely and checked us in right away and did not make me pay a pet fee, for which I was very grateful. The beds were very comfortable. However, the rooms were very dirty and the fridge in one of our rooms never worked. We reported it the first night and no one came to repair it. It feels like the hotel is an old building in need of lots of repairs. We did notice there is a renovation happening so we are guessing all of this will improve in the future. We were just grateful there was a space and we had a place to go to escape the hurricane so for that we thank you. It served the purpose we needed.

- Tracy (2/5): - I booked a wheelchair accessible room and then called in advance to make sure it was wheelchair accessible as said on the website. They assured me that it was. When i arrived, it was NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE! I couldnt even get through the door to the bathroom! When i asked if they could switch me to the proper room, I was told they wete fully booked AND they didnt have a room in the hotel that accomidates wheelchairs! It was an emergency situation because i was evacuating there from a hurricane. ALL the hotels in the area were full at this point. I had no choice but to stay. It was so filthy and disgusting. Couldnt take our shoes off the floor was so dirty. The bathroom was disgusting. There were roaches crawling around. It made my skin crawl. When the hurricane hit, water poored in and completely flooded it! I went to the front desk and asked for help to be moved or something to at least stop the water from coming in. They guy said they didnt even have towels to give me, was nothing he could do for me. I had to eventually call 911 to ask what should i do. There where flash flood warnings and wasnt suppose to be driving. With me being in the wheelchair, I had no way to go upstairs. I ended up driving in the middle of a hurricane to find another hotel at 3am. Unreal!!

- Ariel (2/5): - On Sept. 7th, I booked at the Floridian hotel for Sept.14-15 through Expedia. I guaranteed the room with my credit card, like I always do. The day of my arrival (Sept. 14th), my flight was delayed, so I called the hotel to inform that I will be arriving late. The person who took the call said he has my reservation, and that he was going to make a note to front desk regarding my late arrival. When I arrived to the hotel a little after midnight, the person in front desk told me that he was sorry, but they are sold out and he cannot give me any room for the night. I told him that I guaranteed the reservation with my credit card, but he said that there is nothing he can do. I tried to book in another hotel, but since it was after midnight, I could not do it with Expedia. I ended up staying up all night, waiting to attend the convention I had the next day. This is the first time I make a reservation and confirm with my credit card, but when I arrive, I don't get the room. I was notified by Expedia that I will get the guarantee back in my credit card because I was never given the room, but I was not a happy camper the next day, with no sleep the night before. Can the hotel overbook the rooms and keep us without a room in spite of the fact that we garenteed the room with our credit card? What compensation can I get for that terrible experience? Thank you.

- Fernando (2/5): - **Review:** I recently stayed at the Floridian, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel was shockingly dirty, with visible dirt and grime in common areas. To make matters worse, the facilities that were supposed to be available, like the pool and laundry, were closed without any prior notice. The room itself was unacceptable. I found hair on both the mattress and pillows, which was beyond disgusting. It made me question the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the entire hotel. The final straw was the broken glass door leading to the backyard. It was not only shattered, but it had clearly been tampered with, making the room feel incredibly unsafe. I felt very vulnerable during my stay, and it's inexcusable that such a serious issue wasn't addressed before allowing guests to stay in that room. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness, closed facilities, and serious safety concerns make it a place to avoid at all costs.
