Wolfgang (7/5): Katastrophale Frühstückserfahrung - - Der Concierge war hilfreich und bemüht - das Zimmer ist geräumig - wenige Minuten von der U-Bahn-Station - Zimmer ist ruhig, wenn es zum Fluss gelegen ist - Das Frühstück war wohl das schlechteste Frühstück, das ich in den letzten Jahren hatte. Wenn ich einmal freiwillig auf ein inkludiert Frühstück verzichte und nur einen Tee trinke sagt das schon etwas. Jede Schulkantine hat mehr Ambiente als dieses Frühstücksrestaurant, in dem so etwas wie Privatsphäre beim Essen de facto unmöglich ist, weil man dicht gedrängt aneinander sitzt. Das Personal beim Frühstück war entweder überfordert oder kennt Gastorientierung bestenfalls vom Hörensagen. Auf meinen Wunsch nach Besteck und eine Serviette wurde ich barsch dazu aufgefordert, mir das doch selbst zu suchen. In einem 5*-Hotel ! Das Brot könnte man in deutschsprachigen Ländern nicht einmal mehr an soziale Einrichtungen spenden, so grauenhaft schlecht war es. Dass zudem die Omeletts auf einer komplett gebrochenen Kochplatte zubereitet werden, lässt mich bezüglich des Küchenzustandes das Schlimmste vermuten. Wenn nicht einmal im Front Cooking massive Schäden behoben werden, wie sieht es dann hinter den Kulissen aus ? Der Rest, den ich beim ersten Versuch gekostet hatte, kann ich mit Ausnahme des Orangensaftes bestenfalls als geschmacksneutral bezeichnen. - Der Haaren im Zimmer ist für professionellen Gebrauch denkbar ungeeignet. Der klappbare Fön tut beim Fönen nämlich genau das - er klappt zusammen, wenn man das Scharnier nicht hält. Auch die Schreibtischlampe ist für ein 5*-Haus ein Witz. Als Billiglampe bei IKEA könnte dieses wackelige Lichtmonster noch durchgehen, aber nicht im Hotel. - Wer auch immer das Badezimmer designt hat, war wohl entweder Schlangenmensch oder benützt grundsätzlich kein Toilettenpapier. Denn die Rollen sind so angebracht, dass man Papier sitzend nur mit Verrenkungen abreißen kann. - Bei unserer Anreise wurde zwar das Gepäck vor dem Haus beim Taxi ausgeladen, da wir aber keinen Gepäckzettel bekamen, ging kurz nach dem check-in die Suche los, wo unser Gepäck geblieben wäre. Wenig effizient.

M (8/5): Good solid hotel - It is a nice conveniently located hotel just outside of the main attractions, MRT station is only a few minutes walk away. The room was clean and reasonable sized. There was a filtered tap in the room which was a bonus and handy for filling our water bottles. It does not have a lounge area near reception for patrons to sit, only a few chairs. The bathroom was a bit small in my opinion.

Elizabeth (10/5): Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore - The location is perfect, right along the Singapore River, with plenty of dining, shopping, and attractions nearby. The breakfast buffet is amazing, it was the perfect way to start the day. The hotel staff are all so lovely and helpful, shout out to Vincent !! He was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms are spacious , clean and comfortable for two people, with twin beds. I'd book it again, thankyou GC !!

Quentin (7/5): Modern nice bedrooms but made to feel like a 2nd class citizen at breakfast - The bedroom was a good size with modern furniture. I was really angry about the breakfast. The restaurant looks out over the 'Waterfront' but the hotel has decided to block off the best area for only 'Executive club guests.' This reserved area was often empty, whilst the area for everyone else (without the view on the waterfront) was packed. A great way to make your guests feel like 2nd class citizens. It really left a bad taste in my mouth. What a silly move to make.

Benoit (9/5): Excellent, recommended! - The size and quality of the room were above expectation. The bed was huge, albeit wider than long (probably 180cm in length and 200cm in width, so we had to sleep in the other - unintended - direction. On the first day the room service correct the bed sheets and pillars to put it back to the "normal" direction, but not on the second day! seems they understood). The breakfast was very varied and excellent. Toilet not separated from the bathroom is a minus, but to put it right in the middle between the door of the bathroom, the sink and the shower, practically blocking any movement in the bathroom is a serious discomfort.

katie (6/5): Fine for 1 night - The rooms are spacious and tastfully decorated. This hotel is basic. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children (10 and 12) and our room provided only a double bed and 1 single bed, expecting one of my children to share the double bed with 2 adults. After speaking with reception i was told that there was nothing they could do. I therefore contacted Booking.com who manged to resolve this issue for me and get them to bring an extra bed free of charge. A no frills hotel, fine for just sleeping in.

Laura (6/5): Great location, spacious rooms but lacks atmosphere - Great location for Robertson and Clark Quay. Lacked atmosphere. Breakfast room is hectic and the tables set in rows so like a canteen. Breakfast selection was good but the layout didn’t flow. We had a drink in the evening on the outside terrace but again the set up was poor. Drinking among diners with a large TV showing the football.

Djawad (6/5): Je betaalt hier alleen voor het uitzicht - Het uitzicht over de stad, drinkwaterkraan in de kamer, de vele snelle liften en de geldwisselautomaat in de lobby De grootte van de kamer (veel te klein) en ze hadden een eenpersoonsbed midden op de kamer geplaatst (zie foto) de wielen en een scherp metalen stuk waarvan uitstak en mijn kind twee keer bezeerde, zeer weinig tv-zenders en geen Netflix oid voor kinderen, weinig prullenbakken, geen toiletborstel, deprimerende grijze kamer, onvriendelijk personeel, voor de terugvlucht zou de receptie een van voor me regelen van 30 Singaporese dollar maar bij aankomst taxi bleek het 80 dollar te zijn en bij aankomst op de luchthaven moest ik uiteindelijk 86 dollar betalen omdat de chauffeur 6 dollar kosten voor gebruik creditcard in rekening bracht

Carlos (10/5): Very good experience for an appropriate price. - The room had a good space, with a nice view of the city. The location is very good, with buses and MRT very close. Breakfast were amazing. A veeeery small suggestion is to add more light to the jacuzzi zone, as it is opened until 8 pm but it is not as illuminated as the rest of the pool. But it definitely didn’t affect the evaluation of the hotel.

jennifer (9/5): A lovely hotel in a central district. Nice facilities and a good buffet breakfast. - The location was really nice near the river. The buffet breakfast was amazing! So much choice. I originally booked a river view room however we were told we had been upgraded to a superior room. This room however was facing the construction site not the river and the noise from the site woke us up early in the morning after arriving at 1am. We asked to be moved to the river side and this was quickly arranged. We had a much nicer view and it was very quiet.

Kate (8/5): - Highly recommend the breakfast if you are staying there. It was delicious with cuisine choices from around the world. The location of the hotel is also great. A bit further away from the airport but the view over the river is amazing and being able to just walk out of the hotel and along the riverfront was lovely. The staff were also attentive and friendly and you can leave your luggage upon check out. The room had been 'recently renovated' which you could see in the new furniture and finishings. However, there were some aspects which looked like they had been skimped on such as the paint job and some of the bathroom fit out.
