• Barbara (8/5): Friendly, clean but a few challenges - Comfortable bed and a very clean hotel. Check in was easy and friendly. There is a bar on site and the breakfast was plentiful. Shower was difficult to regulate and at times the water in the handbasin too - either incredibly hot or freezing cold. The room was clean and comfortable though really suitable for 1 or 2 nights. Not enough staff on in the evenings so wait for a drink at the bar in the evening was 20 minutes.

Slightly overpriced - we paid £288 for just one night.

• Catriona (8/5): Excellent Staff! - The care the staff took to ensure we had access to an appropriate room. The friendly and helpful receptionist both in the evening and morning. The breakfast staff were lovely too. Great service. Also liked we could store our bags in a secure place after check out. The cutlery at the breakfast room felt very poor quality. The first room offered was in the basement. You could smell something unpleasant like the drains and there seemed to be a stain on the carpet as if there had been a small flood. The reception staff did his best to relocate us and was given a better smelling room, thankfully. The air conditioning was not working and we requested a fan which he also provided.

Jó reggeli, tiszta helyiségek, tágas fürdőszoba és zuhanyzó. A vízforraló nagyon jól jött, bárcsak mindenhol lenne. Összességében nagyon jó hotel. Jó lett volna, egy kis hűtőszekrény és egy kis szekrény a ruhatárolásra. De pár napra megoldhatóak ezek a kisebb problémák.
• Garry (3/5): Expected more from Holiday Inn - decent location and breakfast, grotty carpet - Good location, nice historic building, public areas clean and nice decor, helpful duty staff member, decent breakfast. Carpet in room 304 was grotty and clearly not acceptable (ingrained stains, muck, wear. Many reviews note dirty carpets, going back several years. Please see photos this isn't scuffed carpet, it's dirt). The room is small and not like it appears in the booking.com photos (wide-angle lens?). The room cost £199 per night. For not much more you can do better. It was a little annoying to see that the same rooms in the Holiday Inn were being advertised on booking.com for £150 for that same night. We reserved the room months before but had to pay £199 to be placed in a room with a very grotty carpet (was this room held til last?). Finally, the 'city view' mentioned in booking.com description is a view of the row of houses on the opposite side of the road - it is not a city view. You only get that from the 5th floor it seems. So, we paid £50 extra and were put in a grotty room with no city view, despite having booked months before. Traffic noise was as you would expect on a busy road with single sash-glazing (listed building). Not great overall. Is this really a 3-star hotel?

• Michel (7/5): Chambre propre - Qu'espérer de plus à Londres? - On est à Londres, donc la seule question qui se pose est: la chambre est-elle propre? La réponse est OUI: chambre, salle de bain et établissement propres, donc on est déjà soulagé d'avoir réussi à avoir trouvé ça. Comme je l'ai dit, si on arrive à trouver une chambre propre à Londres, on n'espère pas grand chose de plus. Espace: OK, pas 1 mètre de trop dans la chambre, mais on arrive à poser une valise et à faire le tour du lit des 2 cotés. Absence TOTALE de rangement. Il n'y a que 6 ceintres dans un coin contre le mur.
• David (8/5): Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would stay again. - Location was fantastic for a short walk to the Apollo theatre for a show we had booked. Breakfast was good. Shops, bars and restaurants were within easy reach. The hotel itself was clean, bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. The room was a little dusty in places, this could be from the open window (large window) for ventilation. This was also a little tricky to close. The carpet had a lot of stains unfortunately, which made us feel a little uncomfortable to walk on it barefoot, ended up keeping socks by the bed in case of needing to use the facilities in the night. We also had a small dining area which was great for games etc. Breakfast was tasty- lots of choice. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. No problem with checking luggage in beforehand. Clean and modern, with traditional charm! Nothing - our stay was brilliant. Exceptional value for money.

• Irene (7/5): - Breakfast one needed to be told on arrival it was downstairs. Tables need to be wiped down after each person. I did not like the fact that I was kept awake till midnight due to the couple in the room above. I could hear their voices and their thumping feet. I complained about this.

The breakfast was also excellent and the people who organised the breakfast were a great team. Everyone working in the hotel was friendly, welcoming and showed a willingness to help, if needed. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. There is nothing we did not like.

• Elpresidente777 (10/5): Great hotel - excellent service - Lovely hotel in a great position to visit London attractions. Near Pimlico tube station and on the no. 24 bus route. Most important is the excellent and kind service that we received from the reception staff, especially, Catalin, and the General Manager, Anna. The rooms have all facilities you need, including hair drier, iron and ironing board. Good shower and our room had a window that we could open which is always a bonus. I would definitely recommend staying there.

• JESUS (10/5): En general el personal y el equipo que forman es magnífico, recepción, limpieza, desayuno, creo que mejor atención para - En especial la ubicación, magnífica, a 20 minutos del big ben y a la vez un barrio súper tranquilo, igual que el hotel, no se escuchaba nada de ruido, recepción gente súper amable y comunicativa con mi bajo nivel de inglés, la recepción simple pero con todos los servicios y amabilidad desde el recepcionistas ( tuvimos problemas con el wifi y una Sra que eran de mañana y otros Sr que están de noche nos lo solucionaron, cosa que se agradeció de corazón, )hasta el director del hotel que siempre nos hablaba en español, nos dejaron dejar las maletas al llegar y al salir, tenía un pequeño bar que cumplía su funciona y tenía una hora feliz de 19 a 21 y todo estaba a mitad de precio, las habitaciones estaban súper bien equipadas, se echa en falta una pequeña nevera, pero baño completo ducha con gran presión y agua muy bien de temperatura, enchufes usb tipo a si no quieres llevar adaptador europeo, tiene calefacción y aire acondicionado, papel higiénico sin tener que pedir e igual que pañuelos de papel en el baño,tabla de planchar y secador de calidad,no falta nada en el baño, colchón cómodo de muelles pero bueno para 3, 4 noches o más, desayuno continental exquisito tiene de todo, chorizo,tomate,fruta,huevos revueltos, bacon, pan de varios tipos, judías de las que les gustan a los ingleses, máquina de café con chocolate, café, capuchino etc, máquina de pequeños gofres que a los jóvenes y niños les encantaban con siropes de todas clases,en especial destacar a MIRIAM, siempre atenta en los desayunos a cualquier cosa que era raro pero si la necesitabas ella te lo intentaba solucionar, también a todo el servicio del desayuno que sin saber su nombre también se portaban súper bien y al servicio de limpieza que dejaba todo limpio sin molestar, cuando dejabas el mandado en la puerta de poder limpiar entraban y te dejaban todo limpio como dejaba serie, en definitiva y lo que es lo que buscamos los viajeros es sentirte como en casa y yo y mi familia nos hemos sentido así, si dios... La única pega y entiendo que no hay espacio por que hay secador plancha etc, le falta un pequeño refrigerador , pero en mi caso tampoco se echó en falta

L'hôtel est bien situé, 30 minutes à pieds des grands sites et à 500 m d'une bouche de métro. Super rapport qualité/prix. On entend un peu le bruit de la rue. Nos voisins de chambre étaient bruyants mais ça l'hôtel n'y peut rien.

Next door to the kitchen very loud, no sound proofing, generator or air con outside very loud, air con didn’t work, all noise from upstairs walking about, we were basically given the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in and didn’t sleep, we wanted something cheap as we knew all we wanted was to sleep as we were out for the whole days and we couldn’t even sleep!

• Sophia (8/5): Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with convenient amenities, and a great location. - Most importantly, the hotel has a lift, which made it easy for us to bring our luggage up to the room. It’s also conveniently located near Victoria Bus Station — perfect for us, as we had a bus to catch the next day. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Our room and beds were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Breakfast was decent — a standard continental selection.

• SEHER (8/5): - L'hôtel est bien situé. La chambre était hyper chauffée, on a dû dormir la fenêtre ouverte. Notre chambre était située à côté de la pièce où on prenait le petit-déjeuner, à partir de 5h30 on entendait déjà le personnel faire les préparatifs. Ce sera bien d'enlever les tapis des chambres.
