- Craig (4/5): Good location but expensive for the quality of the hotel. - The location is the strongest selling point. No self-parking. Expensive valet. The hotel had an unpleasant odour that I assume was to cover up worse odours. The hotel was oversold on booking.com. It was not as good as it looked. Our room had city views which meant it was right on Olympic Blvd. Be aware that Olympic blvd is as busy and noisy as a freeway 24/7.

Front office :( they didn’t move us to a room tell I got quite upset I’ve been charged a security deposit - but no one can tell me what the amount was and what refund u should expect - i am still waiting for it Would have liked a kettle and tea bags in the room Water shouldn’t be chargeable - it isn’t anywhere in the world

Highly recommend this hotel especially in a bind. - The staff were extremely accommodating with my late check out needs and extending my stay. The guy at the front desk with the glasses and the valet man as well were extremely patient, kind, and thoughtful. The hot water in the water machine in the lobby wasn't working. The vending machines could have had some more breakfast options like RX bars or oatmeal as well but that wasn't really a big deal. The room furniture could have also been arranged slightly differently to have a desk area separate from the television. That desk set up felt a little crammed.

Large rooms, recently redone, though with the original old, cheap looking infrastructure. One bed and the wall had blood? ketchup? smears on them, which is just kind of a yucky reminder that others have been messy there and cleaned up after. The room was right on the street and the street is loud.

- Yvette (9/5): Great value for the money, clean comfy rooms, excellent friendly staff! - I come to LA twice a year to go to Cedars Sinai and I've stayed in the hotel several times and it's been consitently great. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is old and quirky, but they do a good job of making sure it doesn't feel run down. I love being able to walk to Century City Mall, there are so many food options it's very convenient. There's also a grocery store across the street, also a bonus. I can't understand why this hotel doesn't get better reviews. Also the loft rooms are really unique, very cool. It's also a very short drive or uber to the hospital if that's what brings you to LA. Of course I am going to complain about having to pay $37.50 per day for valet but that's anywhere in LA. I'm surprised LA doesn't charge you extra to breathe. You have to pay for parking everywhere you go and you will not find a decent hotel with free parking, not in this posh area anyway! The valets are always super nice and I've never had to wait more than a minute or two for my car. Also, even in calculating the cost of the valet, this hotel is still about half the price of the double tree next door.

- Samantha (7/5): Great location, great staff - Great location for the price. Beds were comfy and the linens were quality. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room hadn't been cleaned fully before we checked in (marks and hair on the toilet and bath, some of the 'single use' shampoo/body wash bottles evidently already used, women's hair all over the carpet). It wasn't particularly egregious and we're not fussed as it was just a place to get our heads down, but I can see it being an issue if you're concerned about cleanliness

- Faryab (2/5): - The hotel room is very aged and needs significant repairs and renovation. The window frame was secured in place with duct tape. The flooring was cheap vinyl mat, the bathroom tiles were chipped and broken. The hotel over charged for a night of parking and there was no live agent available to dispute or discuss the charge with and the agent at the main hotel number simply refused to help.

My room faced the street and it was extremely loud and all night. The surrounding area isn’t great so not a good place to walk anywhere. It was good for the night
- Edward (6/5): - The hotel itself was fine. The room more than met our needs, and we were very happy with the place for a one night stay. In fact, the room was quite nice. We did not have a car, and that makes getting places tough. An arrival after 8pm, and all the restaurants nearby (which were at the mall, closed at 9. There is nothing in the immediate area, so forget about a night cap or late dinner if you don't have a car, or expect to walk somewhere. One of the CSR's did not seem to know of other restaurants other than the ones at the mall. The staff was very accommodating though on giving us a late check out. So, overall, a good stay, and the flaws we found were more with the area than the hotel.

- Ida (4/5): - The room we received had stairs, which made it difficult for those traveling with elderly parents. Parking was on the expensive side for valet, but the valet service itself was excellent. The nighttime front desk staff member, Mark, was extremely rude in his response to a noise complaint we made. We’re not the type to complain about noise, but the stomping above our room late at night was so loud it sounded like multiple people running back and forth and playing. Overall, the experience was subpar, and we will not be returning. The one positive was the gentleman who checked us in, Daniel ,he was super sweet and welcoming.

My only critique I have and this is not necessarily catered to the hotel, but that in staying in a loft space there is no restroom in the upper area so that if you need to go to the bathroom for example in the middle of the night, you have to walk downstairs to get to it

The room was quiet and comfortable except (1) no refrigerator and the staff brought it that had condensation noise all the times, and (2) I heard a tread from ceiling at 3 midnight - may be ceiling was old & thin.

Scheinbar keine Doppelverglasung. Die angrenzende Straße hat man die ganze Nacht gehört. Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahregekommen.

It is quite warm in the hotel. At least the aur condition worked. The room needs updating. Refrigerator was luke warm at best. The bathroom was decent but needed more toiletries. The lock didn't work. The noise was awful. I mean scared us in the middle of the night awful. Concierge oh wait what Concierge? When inquiring about the advertised breakfast, we were told to run across the street. Will not be back.

- FrankWichmann94 (9/5): - Das Hotel liegt in einem guten Viertel (West Hollywood). Dort gibt es sogut wie keine Obdachlosen und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist es nicht sehr weit. Es liegt mittig zwischen dem Venice Beach und dem Hollywood Zeichen. Das Personal war freundlich, das Zimmer relativ neu und modern. Nachts ist es etwas lauter, da es an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt. Die Dusche/Badewanne ist nicht sehr groß und der Duschvorhang zieht sich immer wieder in die Dusche.
