- georgedantep (10/5): Can’t get enough! Exceptional - Thank you for such an amazing experience so far. From the warm welcome at the front desk, to Tina and the cleaning crew’s wonderful care, to the exceptional restaurant service, every part of our stay has been truly appreciated. Your team has made us feel very welcomed and well taken care of.
- jpascott (10/5): Awesome new yourk stay - the location is awesome : very laid back area withoutout all of the midtown hustle and busel , easy access to subway but lots to do around the financiao district as well : great value particulary for Amex members
- Sightseer63035560551 (6/5): Good staff - Staff is nice, rooms are okay, no view, did have a room with a door latch that locks on its own and got locked at midnight and all our stuff locked in, had to sleep in a different room for the the till the maintenance guy got in at 8am. Manger did take care of us and made the stay much better

- petetJ3022BI (10/5): Like a home away from home but better - My wife and I were on a 18 day journey seeing the last 14 states she need to get to all 50 and my last 8 for out 30th Wedding anniversary. This adventure my exclusive hotel of choice, Hyatt and 10 Hyatt locations. My biggest highlight from Gild Hall was Angel Rivera at the front desk. From the moment we walked in Angel greeted us and offered us a drink after a very long drive. It didn’t stop there he was just nice, beyond what I felt was just work curtesy but helpful at every turn and really made us feel “at home”.
- John (10/5): Was good - Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- FireDragon1268 (10/5): Spring Break with family - I had a wonderful stay at the Gild Hall, Thompson Hotel during spring break this April with my family. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was truly top notch. Pam, Liz, Robert, Fen, and Leo at the front desk were all incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming—they really made us feel at home throughout our stay.
What made the experience even more special was how they celebrated my birthday. Their thoughtful touches and attention to detail meant so much and made the occasion unforgettable.
We also had a great experience at Felice restaurant. Hyacinth and Malenny provided excellent service and were so warm and attentive.
The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located, which made exploring the city easy for our family. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend Gild Hall to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable stay in New York City.
- ecbacke (10/5): Excellent stay in NYC - Great location and wonderful customer service. Very reasonably priced in NYC. Would definitely stay here again.
- Navigator50459051888 (10/5): Good location! - Great location for a NYC trip to get to Manhattan and Brooklyn! hotel staff was lovely and the rooms were clean. subway lines were nearby and it was quiet enough to sleep :)
- liss314 (10/5): Can I live here, please? - There was nothing about this hotel that I did not love--the helpful and friendly staff, the Nespresso lobby coffee, the beautiful room, the ultra-comfy beds, the complete peace and quiet...I could go on for days. Please let me live here.
- 879yufanz (10/5): Nice price in NYC, excellent breakfast, excellent hotel service, be careful about restaurant service. - Overall, everything went well except for one incident during breakfast service. On one occasion, the server accidentally knocked over the honey but promptly replaced it, which we appreciated.
After that, we requested ketchup, and while he did bring it, his attitude felt noticeably impatient. He said, “You asked for ketchup, I gave you ketchup. Do you have anything else?” When I asked for butter, he responded that we already had butter. I then showed him that there was no butter included with my bread order. He replied, “Okay, I’ll bring butter. Anything else?” in a tone that felt abrupt and dismissive.
We felt our requests were reasonable and were surprised by his reaction. After breakfast, we shared this feedback with the Felice manager. While he apologized, there was no further follow-up.
- terp427 (10/5): Great Hotel in a good area - Nice hotel in a good location. Perfect access to get to subway to go anywhere in the city and 10-15 ride from and to Penn-Station. Very friendly staff who are willing to help you with whatever you need. Rooms were clean and a good size. I would stay here again.
- Pathfinder577086 (10/5): Excellent experience at Gild Hall - Hotel is small and cozy, mid century design, solid breakfast (though limited Globalist menu) - upgraded to a suite. Friendly staff, easy public transit. Normally don't stay down here but really lovely.
- Beth319 (10/5): Great Stay - We enjoyed our stay at The Gild. Its location in the Financial District was perfect for us as it was a little more quiet than staying more central. There were lots of restaurants within walking and close metro stations. The hotel itself is well kept and clean. Hot showers and comfortable beds and quite spacious rooms for NYC. The check-in staff were always welcoming and upbeat. My only frustration was the small size of the water bottles they give you. It is nice that they are free and you can have as many as you wish, but they are so small and seem a waste of plastic. A water bottle filling station would be a great addition.
- jenniferkU271TP (10/5): Our New Go-To in NYC - The well-appointed and spotless room was only trumped by the service. This staff is awesome, and this has become our favorite downtown hotel.
- rdwilson12 (10/5): Great boutique hotel FIDI, Felice restaurant onsite - Fabulous boutique hotel in great FIDI location. Near FedReserve & NYSE, easy subway access. Don’t miss TrinityChurch & the cemetery next to it. Everyone has been a delight at this hotel!! Elizabeth & Pam at check in. Henry & Denise at the onsite restaurant Felice. Food was fabulous—-breakfast & I also had lunch at the bar solo first day. I’ve been to Felice Columbus location. They’re all good; But the personal service here stood out to me. Hyatt has upped their game with these Boutique, typically architecturally significant hotels. I’ll be back for sure!
- Donna (10/5): cute boutique hotel...the lobby with the library and nice couches was very warm and inviting - the room was extremely clean....the location was near the Seaport which was great all was well and fine
- 962bradyh (10/5): Amazing Stay!! - We had a fantastic stay at Gild Hall and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was an incredible room. Spacious, stylish, and full of character.
The customer service was outstanding. After we checked out, I realized I had left my wedding ring behind. The staff quickly found it and shipped it safely to my home, which meant a lot to us.
The hotel has a cool, unique environment, and the staff truly goes above and beyond. Highly recommend Gild Hall and would absolutely stay here again.
- John (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- shalomb784 (10/5): Great Hotel, Great Location, and Amazing Staff - The staff were super helpful, the breakfast was amazing, the food was amazing in the restaurant.
The Room was very clean and quiet.
- chia yu (10/5): - great location
- Safari30209745744 (10/5): We will be back! - What a spectacular hotel experience! From the amazingly friendly and helpful staff to the gorgeous room with its comfortable beds and pillows, everything was perfect. The hotel restaurant was delicious, to boot. We will be back! And I've never seen a cooler room key. They let us keep one as a souvenir.
- Thefania (8/5): Great place! Best staff! Great location! - The staff was behind courteous and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Better than anticipated. The location was great. Quiet, close to subway and South Street Seaport. Our nieces have been coming here for quite a while and recommended The Gild highly. Room was a little shabby. Could use to be painted, bathroom caulked. Headboard was a bit worn.
- thefanial (10/5): Better than anticipated! - The staff was way more accommodating than we anticipated. The food was amazing. The hotel was in a great location; close to subways, walking distance to South Street Seaport. It was very quiet. Recommended to us by my husband's nieces who have been frequenting the hotel for 10+ years.
- Peter (10/5): Looking forward to the next stay - Great location in the Financial District
- SouthPhillyPT19148 (8/5): Spacious Room - Quiet hotel right in the financial district of Manhattan. Spacious rooms compared to other NYC hotels.
- Karyn (10/5): A great overnight stay - The size of the room was really good, comfortable bed, great service, when there was an issue with the air conditioner they followed up with me immediately, they hold luggage post check out, and it’s near everything! I don’t have anything else.
- Jingxuan (10/5): -
- Renata (10/5): -
- jayne (8/5): Out of the hustle and bustle - Location and staff. N/A
- F8941HDmichaell (10/5): Amazing service that feels like home - Ben, Seb, Liz, Angel, Robert, Leo - so so helpful and wonderful!!! They really made me feel at home with my stay at Gild. Best front desk concierge team ever!!
- CASTHS (10/5): Boutique hotel feel with great hospitality. - Love Gild Hall. My son lives across the street so I have stayed her many time over the past few year. Rob and his team are always happy and accommodating. The rooms are always clean and beds comfortable.
- aaronrB1819IP (10/5): Amazing experience - I had an incredible experience here, customer service was amazing. It’s super nice to feel very welcomed as soon as you step in.
- huzaifas2026 (10/5): Incredible value in Lower Manhattan! - Best hotel experience across all my trips to New York. From the friendliness of the staff, to the size and ambience of the room, comfort of the bed and seats, to the quality included breakfast at the embedded Felice restaurant.
- Jocelyne (8/5): Le personnel était très accueillant, la chambre propre et très confortable mais sonore et très sombre - Son emplacement géographique , l’accueil du personnel L’insonorisation des chambres ( nous entendions le programme tv et la conversation)
- Gibson (8/5): Really awesome place. Would stay again. Cute atmosphere, nice staff. Lovely stay. - Really loved how friendly the staff was. Always over the top and one of the best experiences I’ve had in a hotel setting. My only issue was the address online sometimes is a little off showing on Gold st. My water was also coming out as orange maybe because of pipes? Not sure.
- Orlando (10/5): - Location and staff availability
- JZ20016 (10/5): A nice place to stay! - It was a busy time, and the hotel looked very full, but the staff worked efficiently to satisfy every client. Rooms are spacious by NY standards, and are clean and tidy. Breakfast was good (one should make reservations to avoid a long wait). The Gym(s) was tiny (two tiny rooms on two floors) but functional. The friendliness of the staff left us with a lasting impression.
- Z3424YRkristinap (10/5): Best Christmas getaway - What a fantastic boutique hotel ! It exceeded my expectations and more. From the friendliest staff, to the beautiful rooms, the cleanliness, and the overall ambiance.
- Renata (10/5): -
- robertsU6372RV (10/5): Great Stay in Lower Manhattan - Stayed here before Christmas Day to bring daughter to NYC for first time. Hotel is in a great location for family as FiDi is not as crowded and hectic as other parts of Manhattan. Hotel was close to a lot of restaurants, within a short 10 min walk to subway, and close to Battery Park. Decor is dark and masculine for some people but I enjoyed it. Also like the free prosecco at check-in. Would stay here again.
- bobbyjv (8/5): Very friendly staff. Poor restaurant - Overall liked many things about this hotel but there were a lot of issues. Checked in online and stated arrival would be 2 pm. Arrived nearly at 3 and were told room wasn't ready but would be in 5 min. It was actually not ready until 4. The front desk is small and gets really crowded and while there is a sign for world of Hyatt check in, it usually wasn't functional. Staff were very nice and friendly though. Booked one bedroom suite which was good sized and comfortable. Water pressure in shower was very poor. Molton Brown bath products are great. The gym is pathetic, so they offer pass to Crunch. We had 2 issues with this-first was that they were out of passes and we were told to just show our room key at Crunch and Crunch didn't like this idea. Second only one pass or person per stay and we were there 4 nights. The restaurant was overall pretty terrible. Had to reserve a table for breakfast or wait quite a while. Small restaurant with what looks like a lot of staff but always seemed to be in the weeds- all very nice though. Globalist breakfast is a limited menu with smaller portions than the regular menu. Bad idea. A good breakfast is one of the reasons I stayed 75 nights with Hyatt this year so if this becomes a trend in other Hyatts, I'll start staying at other hotels and do more 3rd party booking. Housekeeping was great and again very friendly.
- B3215MGrosies (10/5): Comfort with confidence. - Fantastic Location. Excellent service all around, and the room was terrific. The thermostat was accurate (it was cold nights, and I wasn't baked out of the place. The restaurant was superb. I know my way around, but I'm sure I'd have gotten any advise I needed if I hadn't. My stay was the bridge as my apartment nearby was getting ready for me. I'll return to the restaurant, and if I have visitors who don't stay with me, I will recommend the hotel.
- leisurelambie (10/5): Warm and Welcoming Luxury Hotel - I believe that the true mark of excellence in any business is not that everything is perfect, but that when there is a challenge it is resolved quickly and with the goal of making the guest feel respected and heard.
We received a warm welcome from the front desk staff when we arrived at Gild Hall. This hotel perfectly balances sophistication with a feeling of comfort and relaxation. Our room was the perfect size for the couple of days that we were spending in the city. I chose a 1 King Bed Deluxe with a Neighborhood View and enjoyed a quiet room. On the second day of our stay we had a challenge with the AC working properly and when we called the front desk to report the issue, maintenance showed up within minutes. It was eventually discovered that evening that the entire unit had to be replaced. In the meantime, the front desk sent up an oscillating fan to help keep the room cool during the repair. This was impressive service in addressing our issue, and after the repair we were able to stay nice and cool during the remainder of our stay.
We ate dinner at Felice and the Fettuccine Alla Bolognese was delicious. I highly recommend enjoying this romantic, relaxed restaurant that is located right off the lobby of Gild Hall.
Overall this was a great stay and I appreciate the communication via email from the Assistant Director of Guest Experience after our visit. Gild Hall exceeded my expectations and I would enjoy another stay here.
- Holmes (10/5): -
- 751fm (10/5): Gold Star for Gild Hall - The rooms were superb, the staff was helpful and warm, and the experience was a "10" on all fronts. From the minute we arrived, everything on the property was impeccable!
- SeaCubed (10/5): Favorite hotel in financial district - Favorite hotel in Financial District. Decent sized rooms, friendly staff. Great restaurant onsite. Good location. All around great hotel.
- 4shantalc (10/5): Wonderful hotel in FiDi! - Gild Hall is a beautiful, classic hotel in the Financial District. My husband and I were in NYC visiting friends and family, and noticed this was a Hotel Collection property on Amex Travel. I’m so happy we decided to book a room here. The staff was welcoming, our room was huge, especially for NYC standards, and it’s in the perfect location near public transit in FiDi. We will absolutely stay here again on a future trip.
- karenbU784MT (10/5): A beautiful place to stay - This was such a nice experience. The hotel was beautiful. So much old charm and beauty. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, The location was ideal, as it was near many landmarks as well as many subway lines, I almost felt like I was in a storybook while I was eating lunch at the restaurant. The only thing that could’ve made it better was if the snow was falling outside. The restaurant was absolutely beautiful too.
The food was delicious and presented so beautifully. My son loved the french toast and he said it was the best he ever had. I tasted it too and I had to agree with him. My room was very spacious and it had all the modern amenities I could ask for. Stepping foot into this hotel was definitely an oasis away from the big city. I hope to return very soon.
- nataliesV9317MM (10/5): Service above and beyond! - Incredible service from the Sales Manager right down to the person who delivered room service. I have stayed in a lot of hotels for over 40 years and this one is by FAR, the best for service.
- FarAway826470 (10/5): A Great Stay, Wonderful Staff - AMEX travel booking review
Let me tell you about this Gild Hall! Treated like the Queen I am. I’ve been trying to visit this hotel for the past 10 months, but it’s always booked out or a little over my price range. This quick 2-day stay was perfect. I got in a bit late 10pm’ish, but that charming guy at the front desk, ROB, pre-checked me in to secure my room and upgrade. He and the other evening staff (Sunday/Sydney?, and the other homie) gave me a warm welcome full of laughs and Prosecco. Rob gave me the details of my stay as an AMEX traveler. The guys made sure the restaurant I wanted to catch a late night bite at was safe enough to walk to. They also helped me plan out my day (I needed to kill some time prior to an event the next day).
My room was clutch! Comfy bed and cozy bedding, a couple seating options, nice bathroom mirror, and a full-length mirror (cause women require it). Oddly enough, I appreciated the steamer most lol. Didn’t hear outside noise or neighbors. Plenty of walkable stores, restaurants, and attractions. Because the hotel is in the financial district, it seems deserted and sketchy after 5pm, BUT there are a few walkable late-night spots open and a 24-hour CVS that’s surprisingly well-stocked.
Unfortunately, the Felicia restaurant was closed for an event on my second day, so I couldn’t experience happy hour, the bar, and lobby lounge areas are such a vibe (was hoping to flirt with some financial bros. HAAA kidding. But not.), but I was able to enjoy a bomb ass lunch courtesy of my AMEX $100 hotel credit. The restaurant food and service were great (posted separate review). Also, the complementary brekky was good.
Check out was a breeze, the young lady assisting me was quite pleasant. ROB appeared again cause apparently he don’t sleep. They offered to secure car service, but I’m all a bout that train life. It’s a fun break from the norm [LA driving] and it’s the fastest/cheaper option to JFK.
All around a wonderful visit at the Gild Hall. Thanks for the experience, I look forward to visiting again.
- moosahk (10/5): NYC stay - One of the best stays I’ve ever had in New York City. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
- ezgie670 (10/5): A lovely holiday in September :) - We stayed 2 nights in this nice hotel . The hospitality was amazing and the stuff was really nice and kind . The location was really good . Thank you for everything . We are looking forward to coming back :)
- Rosina (1/5): Front desk staff could not even tell me why I was overcharged for a 3 night stay. - Overcharged from the get go. Hotel couldn’t even reverse the holds. Was held for triple the amount that the hotel total cost due to a “system error”, that has not been returned to me. Staff did not care one bit. Rooms are old and dated.
- curend (10/5): Gilded Age Times at Gild Hall - What a lovely experience this was for a random weekend girls’ trip! We were hoping to stay somewhere steps from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still peaceful enough to rest and recharge—that’s exactly what we encountered at Gild Hall. The staff—from the front desk (looking at you Angel and Pamela!) to the housekeeping team (Rashika (sp?)) to the wonderful folks at Felice 15—were the true stars of the show and the impetus for my rating. Gild Hall is incredibly warm and inviting; the price point for the accommodations (stylish rooms!) is excellent; the perks (afternoon prosecco, coffee and tea at the ready) are unmatched; the location is phenomenal because it’s city, but without the touristy aspects that can detract (steps from the MTA); and it was so quiet (fantastic sleep was had!). All-in-all I would HIGHLY recommend given the cost.
- 458tianj (2/5): do not taken 2nd floor room - be careful on 2nd floor. IF possible, not take it. it is very noisy during the night. Trunk unloading around 3-4 AM. Drunk people shouting
- Antonio (8/5): -
- Anne (6/5): It was just ok, too expensive for what it was - Staff was pleasant Too dark, the room was very small the bathroom was uncomfortable with no counter space at all
The air conditioner/heating was annoyingly loud
- A4299DTkeithp (10/5): Must stay! Great location - Amazing! Awesome breakfast, French toast is something else. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location with easy access to everything
- newyorktravel1234 (4/5): Outdated hotel but good location - The hotel itself is fairly outdated, but the location is good with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The front desk staff is also friendly. My main complaint is that the rooms show its age and that it's very dark. Also, the cleanliness of the room was a bit questionable as the sheets didn't seem clean and the sofa bed had old stained sheets from a previous guest when we checked in. Our rate included breakfast and the options weren't exciting and we ended up skipping the rest of the nights we were there. If I was on a budget, I wouldn't mind staying here again but it definitely wasn't memorable or something I would be excited to stay at again. If it's a short-term stay and the price is significantly better than other similar category hotels, it's fine and does the job though.
- 83willt (10/5): Great Stay for work - Lovely Hotel central to the Financial District giving fast and easy access to the office location but also a great base for exploring New York more fully.
- Kristi (8/5): It was pretty good - It was cozy and employees were friendly and responsive . The beds were pretty comfortable It felt a little dark like guest rooms needed updating. The tile shower was not in best condition and bacteria on tub and shower caulk - that pinkish color . I tried to order room service- called twice and had to leave a voice mail and also front desk and no luck. it would have been nice to have a coffee maker in room . Seemed expensive for what you get but that is probably nyc

- Katharina (9/5): Nice stay in downtown - Top Lage, schöne Zimmer, nettes Personal Nichts
- Crystal (10/5): - Friendly staff and easy check in
- d2e2wa (10/5): Gild Hall in NYC is a great choice. - The family chose the Gild Hall for its location and the pictures of the rooms. It was a great choice. The facility was well maintained; the rooms spacious and well appointed. The true discriminator at this hotel was the staff. Courteous, informative, and friendly, the Gild Hall team ensured our stay was enjoyable and relaxed. Special call outs for Rob, Sebastian, and Simon with whom entertaining conversations were had and who provided information about local events. The attached but separate restaurant serves an adequate breakfast with enough variety to please the 5 adults in our party. We did not eat other meals there but the bar was well stocked and the bartender was knowledgeable.
Overall, a great experience and another reason why the family prefers Hyatt and the Thompson collection. We shall stay at the Gild Hall when we return to NYC.
- Julianne (8/5): - Great location and nicely appointed rooms. The elevators were often slow or not functioning well, but overall, I would definitely stay there again.
- Robin (8/5): Comfortable and quiet stay. Nice crowd. Multiple small work out areas on three different floors. - Location, view, lighting, housekeeping and proximity to transit Battered furniture, walls and fixtures. Front entrance was a little shabby.
- Emilie (10/5): - Great location in the financial district.
- Road27622440240 (10/5): My Favorite NYC Hotel - I’ve stayed at Gild Hall several times now, and every visit reminds me why I return. I have mostly stayed here for work but have also visited with my family and every visit has been extremely positive. As someone who is particular about cleanliness, I can say my rooms have always been spotless and the hotel itself is very well maintained. The food is consistently delicious, making dining in a real treat. And while the location puts you close to everything, the moment you step inside it feels like its own little world.
What really sets Gild Hall apart is the staff. The team always goes out of their way to make me feel valued as a guest. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The front desk team is consistently friendly and helpful, often checking in to make sure your stay is going smoothly. A special thank you to Elizabeth who is always so accommodating and brings such a welcoming energy to my visits.
- Potomac9 (8/5): Good choice in FiDi district - Location close to WTC, Wall Street, South Seaport. Helpful staff checked me in early and granted upgrade request. Hotel/room decorations are good. Very tall ceilings. Blend of old elegance with functionality like lighting and plenty of charging outlets. The only thing not working is one of the two elevators.
- Kourtni (8/5): - Top tier customer service
- stevegH5898RR (10/5): Our go to hotel in lower Manhattan! - This is the fourth time we've stayed at the property and absolutely love it. It's got a great boutique vibe, the lobby is first rate in coziness, and proximity to a great bar and a fantastic restaurant. Will definitely be back!

- celee11 (10/5): Wonderful Stay at Gild Hall - We stayed at Gild Hall for 4 nights in September with my parents, and all four of us had a wonderful experience.
-Location: I wasn’t sure at first about the downtown Manhattan location, but this turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The area was convenient, quieter than expected, and worked out really well for us.
-Room: The hotel has a unique, classic charm that feels different from the typical chain hotels. The room was not large, but perfectly comfortable by Manhattan standards. Dark wood furniture, a cozy atmosphere, and a very comfortable bed gave it a warm and stylish character. The lighting could be dim and cozy (perfect for us), but there was also a brighter option when needed (which my parents preferred).
-Service & Amenities: Service was warm and welcoming from the start. We were even offered a glass of Prosecco at check-in. Each morning, we enjoyed coffee in the lobby, and two bottles of water were delivered daily to our room. Toiletries were Molton Brown, which added a nice touch. Daily housekeeping was reliable, and everything felt thoughtfully taken care of.
I really appreciated how Gild Hall combines the consistency of a trusted brand with the charm of a boutique-style hotel. The hospitality was a pleasant surprise for New York City and made our stay especially memorable.
- G8907SPseand (10/5): Great hotel - Fantastic hotel. Rooms are nice and big. Love the toiletries. Great location, many restaurants and tourist sites within walking distance
- david (10/5): - Great downtown location, friendly staff in hotel and bar/restaurant. Quiet room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom.
- Michael (10/5): - Great stay. Front desk and restaurant was excellent.
- antonette (8/5): Staycation - Friendly staff. Close to the subway . Walking distance to the water . Many restaurants and bars around. Comfortable and clean

- Verified traveler (10/5): Very enjoyable - Clean, excellent bed and shower. Friendly and accommodating staff. I would definitely return.
- Monique (10/5): Bold & Rich - The Gild is a beautiful hotel. The comfortability of the rooms along with the overall look of the esthetics was top tier. Hands down one of my favorite hotels to stay at when I'm in NY.
- Juan Carlos (6/5): - The property is great. However when checking out, an additional unknown charge, and undisclosed at the time of reservation was applied to the final bill.
- Robin (7/5): Staff doesn’t really care if you stay there or not. On their cell or chatting it up about personal life while guests wa - Location. Run down.
- Jenice (8/5): - This is a nice hotel. I stayed in a king room, which was decently sized as far as NYC hotels to. The bathroom had a tub and shower curtain nstead of a walk-in shower. Such fixtures make rooms, no matter how nice, look old fashioned.
- Jrrob (8/5): Decently sized room as far as NYC hotels go - This is a nice hotel in the financial district. It is convenient to public transit and easily accessible to Brooklyn and Midtown. It is clean. My only complaints are that my room, 93, got very little natural light, and the room had a tub and shower curtain, not a walk-in shower.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Front desk staff was the friendliest and offered a free upgrade. Room was quiet, cozy, and clean. Best location - very close to everything downtown and easy to get uptown and to Brooklyn as well.
- Sandra (10/5): - The staff was incredibly helpful, warm, and friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable.

- Sacha (10/5): - Our first time staying here - we’ll be back!
- jiyoungl136 (6/5): Great location/facility but poor service - It has great facility but poor hospitality/service. Staffs didn't care about the needs of the guests nor have any empathy.
- Deborah (4/5): - The room smelled like dirty feet and the carpet was wet from the stay before or housekeeping
- marcusd425 (8/5): Nice bed, sizable room - Incredibly comfortable bed, very friendly staff. Not much in the way of a view given the hotel's location on a narrow financial district street, but the room was quite large (especially by NYC standards) and I had absolutely no complaints about the service I received. The only negative would be the lack of a coffee machine in the room, although that seems to be a growing trend these days.
