SAMIR MOHAMED (6/5): يرجى توضيح المعلومات للزبائن قبل الدفع - أعجبني موقع hostel قريب من محطة تقسيم هناك أفراد ينامون بدون ملابس في غرفة ويشعلون السجائر داخل الغرفة أما الأكل قبل تستطيع أكل داخل غرفة ومطبخ يغلق باكرا نحو الساعة 9 ليلا و عندما أردت الحجز وجدت أن المطبخ مجاني ومتوفر غسالة أيضا ولكن بعدما حجزت واتصلت بصاحب hostel قال لي ستدفع يوميا 2 اورو مقابل إستعمال المطبخ و ستدفع 8 اورو مقابل إستعمال المغسلة يرجى كتابة هذه التعليمات قبل دفع مسبقا
Heike Gudrun (8/5): Raucher im dorm - Gute Lage. Geschäfte..Restaurants...shuttlebus....Taksimplatz in der Nähe. Küche nutzbar gegen Bezahlung. Schließfach mit Schlüssel. Die Lampe am Bett funktionierte nicht. Im Zimmer nebenan wurde geraucht.

Jouni (1/5): - That i could leave asap. Istanbul is nightmare with dirty and bad service in Hostel. Like this one looks like refugee camp. Everything old and dirty and stinky. There was nothing positive about this place. Complete crap show, dirty bathrooms, dirty sheets, floors were never cleaned. Seems like there is no.cleaning code in turkey or at least this Hostel. Should be shut down plus complete crap treatment by staff, Zero education and manners.

František (7/5): - Dobrá lokalita kousek od centra a hlavní třídy (bary, restaurace, mhd), příjemný personál, součástí svazku klíču od ubytování i klíč ke skříňce na pokoji. Dostali jsme při příjezdu pouze peřinu, nevím, zda povlečení na matraci a polštáři bylo měněno. Žádné instrukce k check-outu (což ale není nic hrozného).

Timo Norman (1/5): BED BUG ALARM in combination with malign owner! I am definitely warning you to book this hostel! - The day of check-in was nice. I talked to the owner`s wife (I guess) and she was super polite, friendly and talkative. The first night I could not check-in, because I arrived in the night and had to stay in a hotel opposite door because there is no reception/entry at night. The second night was horrible (one of my worst nights travelling): There were bedbugs in all the beds of my room, they were even crawling up the walls of the room. I took photos of them and killed some and re-checked with wikipedia (I´m also a doctor) to show to the staff. I called the staff in the night, but they didn`t understand/help. In the morning the manager arrived and I told him about the issue and he was already screaming at me when he saw, that I changed beds. He was not helping/deescalating/feeling sorry at all. In the contrary: He was treating very unrespectfully (to tell it in a polite way) and accused me of having brought the unwanted animals (even if I told him that I just arrived from my flat in Germany!), didn`t compensate me nor loose any word of empathy or apologize.

Stephanie (7/5): Kind staff, but bit false advertising - All the points go to the staff, who were incredibly nice and friendly. All of them. Wasn't a huge fan of the hostel itself, but my overall feeling was okay because they were so kind. Location sublime, at short distance from Taksim Square. Price is low. Dorm sold as 4-bed (which is why I chose it over other hostels), but that's simply not true: it's an 8-bed, with a thin wall and a curtain in the middle, which definitely won't keep out the snoring sounds. Shower also form the 8 beds, not 4. The airconditioning is only at one side though, so only 4 out of 8 beds can feel it blowing. You can't have it both ways: it's either an 8-bed with 1 airconditioning, or it's 2x 4-bed with with 2 airconditionings, otherwise you can't advertise that crucial amenity (it was 40c+). It was also controlled by hostel staff, who only turned it on in the evenings and at a temperature that was quite high and hardly helping, son couldn't sleep from the heat.

Rapport qualité/prix imbattable - Chaleureux accueil polyglotte, très bien situé et facile à trouver, propre, lit confortable, AC, douche avec bon débit, safetybox et lumières individuelles disponibles : tout ça à un prix défiant toute concurrence... Que demander de plus ? C'est génial. 10/10 sans hésiter. Pour les lits du haut, il manque une petite tablette pour poser ses affaires. Mais c'est vraiment un détail !

Here it is clean and comfortable. The personnel of the hostel makes you feel welcomed as you are a friend.

Ivan (5/5): Passable - The only great advantage is the close location to the Taksim square. The booking options of hostel room and services do not correspond to reality. If you choose a bed in 4-person room it means that it will be a room for 8 people, but divided by inner wall. Also, there was an option of having "breakfast", which I chose, but nothing was offered in reality. Locks of lockers seem to be mounted by either monkey or a kid. I wasn't confident to leave valuable belongings there and took them with me while walking to the street. The bathroom service was performed only once during my stay and I had to bring my soap and toilet paper. The rooms are heated - that's good, but there is no ventilation, so it gets stuffy at night.
