Aurelius (10/5): Live Like a Roman- An Adventurer’s Favorite Find - My partner and I stayed here for a week, and it ended up being one of the busiest weeks Rome has had in a while! For the closeness to il centro and il vaticano especially it was worth the price, it was also very close to the metro which made zooming around the less touristy parts of Rome so much easier. The decor and furnishing was minimal but perfect for us because we spent all our time outside anyway. The terrace was lovely, especially in the brisk spring mornings, but a word to the wise- bring some bug repellent! Mosquitos and berry bugs were everywhere that time of year, I imagine summer is the same! All the people we spoke to were professional and very helpful. All and all it made our stay in the eternal city all the more memorable, and I would highly recommend staying here.
Thomas (8/5): Cool breezes, the large terrace and fantastic view made this place. - The best feature of this spot was it's top floor location with a large terrace with a table and large umbrella. Always a cool breeze was blowing which more than made up for the lack of AC. They had fans in the rooms but no AC and it didn't matter at all, in spite of the June 2023 sunshine. Sitting on the terrace, morning and night, was delightful. The small "phonebooth" shower could be improved to a larger size. It was just too small to comfortably move around in. If the washing machine were relocated to outside of the bathroom, or into the bedroom, that would give enough space for a more adequate shower.
