Single glazed windows which looked like they needed fixing as paint flaking off. Breakfast offer in Buttery bar expensive compared to other local cafes.

- Pooja (4/5): Never again - Location is fabulous, it’s a cute little boutique hotel Bad communication. We stayed for 3 days and there was no cleaning service. Outrageous given the price they were charging.
- Clair (8/5): A sweet little place - Great location and a nicely designed little hotel. Lovely restaurant for breakfast next door The housekeeping was a little strange. The room was very clean but a towel disappeared one day and never reappeared. Milk for coffee wasn't restocked. The sound proofing isn't the best. You could hear the people in the room next door talking through the walls. Maybe not the best for light sleepers.

The curtain was badly ripped and patched up in the bedroom, which was strange as everything else was very well thought out and maintained.

- Amandine (5/5): - L'emplacement, tres chouette quartier. La chambre était vraiment microscopique, ainsi que la salle de bain. Ça ne m'aurait pas dérangé s'il y avait eu des aménagements en conséquence (par exemple des crochets dans le salle de bain pour les serviettes). Ma chambre était au 1er étage, et comme le rez-de-chaussée dessert aussi le restaurant, le bruit est vraiment un problème, avec de la musique dès 7h du matin. La réception est aussi toute petite, il n'y a aucun espace cosy où les clients peuvent lire, prendre un verre ou un thé. Bref, pour le prix et le nombre d'étoiles, j'ai trouvé les prestations très limites. Je ne reviendrai pas.

We did book a smaller room, but had no idea this would mean squeezing past the end of the bed to get to the other side! Bathroom felt like you were in a cupboard and there was very little space to hang your clothes. There was also no surfaces in the bathroom to put your toiletries so they stayed in our cases.

Single bed felt like an uncomfortable and small camp bed, squeaky floorboards, windows that don’t lock and miserable staff. Oh and they only have 1 iron in the basement - all the comments about carrying luggage up 4 flights of stairs is accurate too.
- Amanda (10/5): Quaint and lovely hotel. - Breakfast is served in The Buttery and is charged separately to the hotel. Delicious breakfast and they also serve lunch. There is a very pretty garden at the back for breakfast and lunch but sadly it was too cold to eat outside. The Buttery is very popular so you need to book for breakfast or lunch. It closes at 4pm. Very popular hotel so you need to book early, I could only get a single room which was compact but suited my needs for this trip. Never been to a hotel with a three night minimum stay before. Staff were very helpful and friendly and helped me carry my bags upstairs and down when I left as I was on the third floor and there is no lift. Not sure if there is a laundry service but I did notice a dry cleaner a few doors down. A bit far from the tube. No elevator.

The staff are really unfriendly - no signs of a hello when you come in. They literally blank you. They said they had booked us in for breakfast and there was no booking. What has happened to this hotel. It has completely changed - the charming hospitable welcome is a thing of the past. I have been many times in the past but this will be my last visit. And how many hotels serve drinks until 4 or 5pm and then close the bar?!

- Christine (10/5): Girls Trip in London! Beautiful Hotel - Stayed only one night but I wish it was longer. I will definitely book here again. The hotel was perfection-beautiful and classic and clean. Location was quiet street-neighborhood feel street with walkable pubs and shops. One note on the hotel was that there is no elevator-so if you have large luggage that maybe a challenge. We were here on a girls trip and I forgot that it did not have an elevator-staff was very welcoming and accommodating that they put us on the ground level! Highly recommend this hotel-will be staying here again!

- Stephanie (4/5): Would not recommend or stay again. - Clean and good location Staff and customer service was extremely poor. They would not help us with our bags to our room, not helpful. Very rude. Paying that price in a premium area of London you would expect a level of service. Terrible.
- Erin (10/5): Luxury stay in Westminster neighborhood - The room was clean and exceedingly comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and reactive at all hours of the day. The neighborhood is well-situated and the hotel is easily accessible on foot from Victoria station and bus depot. The breakfast was exceptional! When we got into the room, we couldn't quite figure out how to use the air conditioning, which was essential as we were traveling in the beginning of July and it was during a heatwave. The tube that was meant to expulse the hot air back out of the room kept slipping through the designated slot carved into the window sill. The hotel was expensive, and we chose it because our connecting travel plans were delayed at 1:30 in the morning, forcing us to find last-minute plans close to the bus station where we arrived, but we would choose it again with proper budgeting in the future.

The garden is truly lovely and restaurant staff were kind they ask to hold onto room keys when you go out (for emergencies and knowing who is in building) but didn’t seem to have strong verification process for confirming that you’re the room guest when keys are handed back. I didn’t question (at all) that the property was *totally* safe and items secure - but did initially think about if someone else could gain entry to the room

Perfect location, 5 minutes from Victoria station. There was a bit of traffic noise in the evening, quieted down around midnight. Didn’t bother me but maybe something to be mindful about if you come with small children.

The rooms do not have A/C, which I feel is a miss on booking to not make this more clear. We got a hot weekend in London and sleeping was not too comfortable. Also, there is no elevator, another thing that should be more clear when booking higher rooms. So this is something to keep in mind.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The esthetics of the hotel are very warm and charming (wallpaper, decoration, old telephone in the room, etc). I would definitely recommend it. No lift but the staff did offer help to bring my luggage upstairs to my room. No air conditioning and the window did not open. It didn’t bother me because I didn’t stay during summer but it is definitely an element to consider if coming to london again during summer hot time.

This hotel is perfect for former Londoners coming back to the city and needing a central location. Despite being by Victoria station, the area is safe and quiet. The hotel and adjacent restaurant The Buttery are small in size, hence do not rely on walk-ins and be out of your room by 10:30 am if you would like the cleaner to come.

- Marti (8/5): Great location! - It was lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic neighborhood. I had two different rooms during my stay. One was a fantastic double room on the top floor - note there are no elevators. The other was a single small room. This was an ingenious space and comfortable albeit some quirks. I thought I'd seen tiny bathrooms, but this was definitely built in half-size. Depending on what you are looking for, perhaps inquire about which room you will be in.

A charming, little boutique hotel with excellent service, an amazing but quiet location and where every little detail is taken care of. The breakfast is also one to remember! I’ll be back for sure and recommend it to anyone who asks :) It was all perfect.

- Serena (8/5): Very good - Great location, beautiful decor, spotlessly clean and very cosy and comfortable :) The walk up steep and narrow in parts flights of stairs with suitcase as no lift. Concierge were too busy checking in guests and dealing with guest queries, but did offer to help when finished with other guests. Need a Porter!

- Galatia (8/5): Amazing location!! - In the heart of Belgravia. Near lovely shops and restaurants. Amazing breakfast, lovely room. Lovely garden. Very clean. Too many stairs but staff kindly carried our luggage to our room. Small room. Not many facilities.
- Benjamín (8/5): Very good - Location is very good, between 5 to 10 minutes walking to victoria station, which is a good start to visit most tourist attractions. Area seemed safe in day and night. Room was very clean, and staff was very responsive and good. Check in and check out was quick and clear. As well as all the information provided from the staff. Bed was comfortable and bathroom water pressure was good. The hotel has the policie of leaving the room key at the reception desk everytime you leave the hotel. Is a bit odd, but I didnt have problems with that. Although, it can be uncomfortable for other guests. Room insonorization wasnt the best, as you could hear people walking and talking in the hallways. But it was very quiet at night, so didnt have problems to sleep. For london standards, was very good, and good price for money. But it would no be consider a 4 star hotel in other cities.
- Rod (8/5): I spent 3 days at this cute hotel with very helpful staff and can recommend it to anyone who wants a more authentic lond - Location was great on a quiet road close to restaurants and city. Small house with historic charm. Very nice and helpful staff. Great breakfast restaurant. Single room was very small on top floor. Little sound proofing from staircase.

- Anna (10/5): - Lovely spot in Belgravia, near Victoria station and about 20min walk to Buckingham Palace. I had a single room in the attic with a cute little bathroom - it had everything I needed. There’s a specialty shop B&S across the street for well priced salads and to go items. The Buttery is perfect for breakfast! It’s very central and was perfect for my 2 nights.
