• Beata ❤️ 👣 (10/5): - Miejsce które zatrzymało się w czasie. Dość mocno głeboki i zapierdziały PRL. Nam to nie przeszkadzało. Bardzo dużym plusem jest lokalizacja w centrum starego miasta w Dubrowniku. Do apartamentu prowadzi dużo schodów. Żeby wyjść na taras z którego jest piękny widok kolejne schody :-) Pani która się opiekuje apartamentem ma serce na dłoni. Na dzień dobry dostałyśmy zimny sok pomarańczowy i ciastka do kawy. Co do reszty jakość jest adekwatna do ceny. Natomiast przyjeżdżając do Dubrownika nie siedzi się w pokoju. Jak na 2 dni które tam spędziłyśmy to wystarczy.
• Rathibhan (1/5): Worst accommodation ever - DO NOT STAY HERE. Rooms Kisic and Direct Booking was extremely disappointing and the accomodation did not match the booking description at all. The listing clearly stated that we would have a private bathroom, but upon arrival we discovered that the bathroom was shared with another guest. This was one of the main reasons for choosing the accommodation, so this felt very misleading. The cleanliness was also unacceptable. The room did not feel properly cleaned, and the bedsheets had visible yellow stains, which was honestly disgusting to sleep on. Overall, the room looked neglected and unhygienic. On top of that, the customer service from Direct Booker was terrible. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to solve the issue, they kept avoiding simple questions and made the whole refund/compensation process unnecessarily frustrating and confusing. Would definitely not recommend staying here.

• Joshua (10/5): Good place - The very friendly housekeeper let me keep my luggage there for free for three days while I went to Montenegro, so I am very grateful for that. Amazing location, stairs weren’t too bad up. Stairs very narrow.
• Caroline (7/5): - Die Lage ist top, nur wenige Meter vom Zentrum der Altstadt gelegen. Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich und hat an beiden Tagen frische Limonade, Früchte und selbstgemachter Burek offeriert. Die Räumlichkeiten sind ältlich und das Badezimmer hat relativ starken Schimmelbefall.

Le logement était à la fois vétuste et très sale. -Concernant la salle de bain collective, des fils électriques non protégés pendaient du mur, un domino électrique était à nu, les joint de la douche étaient recouverts de moisissure, la paroi de douche était cassée et le siphon de l'évier et de l'évier étaient bouchés. Enfin des poils recouvraient le fond de l'évier. -Concernant la chambre, elle sentait très fortement la poussière: le tapis (que je conseillerais de jeter) et le dessous des lits en étaient recouverts, les matelas n'était plus plats, une fenêtre en hauteur donnait sur la cage d'escalier et éclairait la chambre la nuit, l'isolation phonique était inexistante, le miroir était percé et des clous apparents en ressortaient. Enfin la chambre ne présentait pas de rangement pour les bagages. -Globalement le logement est proche de pas mal de restaurants ce qui fait que l'on sent une légère odeur de graisse et de friture dès que l'on ouvre la fenêtre ou que l'on monte sur la terrasse au dessus de l'immeuble.

Das Gemeinschaftsbad auf dem Flur war dreckig und die Duschkabine schon mit Schimmel versehen. Im Zimmer bröckelte auch schon der Putz von den Wänden.

• CharLyn Jaimy (1/5): Das ich gebeten wurde zu bewerten verstehe ich nicht 🤣 - Die Gastgeberin war freundlich, die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse war schön und die Lage mitten in der Altstadt ist wirklich gut. Für 200 € die Nacht war das Zimmer winzig und für vier Personen viel zu eng. Das angeblich private Bad befand sich – wie bei allen anderen Gästen – einfach auf dem Flur, obwohl wir dafür 50 € extra gezahlt haben. Die Sauberkeit ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig: vertrocknete Blumen in gammeligem Wasser, klebriges Besteck, Gläser mit Schmutzrändern sowie Haare und Flecken auf der Matratze. Auch die Dachterrasse war ungepflegt und zugestellt. Beim Empfang bekamen wir ein Glas Saft von dem die Gastgeberin sich auch bediente und dann das benutzte Glas einfach bei uns in die Spüle gestellt hat . Besonders unangenehm war die extrem kleine Dusche direkt neben der Toilette – mir wurde sogar gesagt, ich sei „zu fett“ dafür. Selbst meine 40-Kilo-Schwester hatte kaum Platz. Zusätzlich erschwerten die vielen steilen Treppen mit schwerem Gepäck das erreichen des Zimmers. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt daher für uns überhaupt nicht – in Dubrovnik hatten wir für denselben Preis ein Hotel, das Welten besser war.

Buen proceso de llegada y salida, comunicación adecuada y la señora nos recibió sin inconvenientes y es muy amable. Las habiaciones y baños requieren mantenimiento.

If it was cheap then dealing with the poor conditions would be okay but it was very expensive (considering). The bathroom has black mold all over it, is not clean, and smells very bad. The towels were no longer actually towels (they were barely hanging together). The pillows in the room were completely lumpy and quite gross. It’s not problem to us that the building was old (it’s an old city) but to charge a premium price, it should have at least usable towels, better pillows, and at least be clean!

Be sure to take in the view from the rooftop! Reaching our room required climbing several flights of narrow stairs. The bathroom/water closet was across the hall and tiny.

The woman in charge was very friendly, the bedroom & bathroom were clean, the shower had excellent water pressure & temperature, and the front entrance was "homey'. Be careful on the narrow stairs! Great location, would stay here again.

• Isabel (7/5): Good - The room was clean and had the basics things, the lady in charge is very nice, she received us late at night because our flight got delayed, always trying to help you, the hostel is in the middle of the old town, so is easy to move anywhere, restaurants few metres away, good if you go for one or two nights. The bathroom was outside the room had the shower drainpipe clogged, do not have ventilation, no windows, in general it could be in better conditions.

There was mould on the floors, shower curtain and around the kitchen. Previous guests toiletries and food was left. Dirty sponges were everywhere. Hair was in the drain. I felt uncomfortable using the bathroom, and I felt compelled to try to clean it myself (horrible). Water didn’t drain properly. I had no confidence in the cleanliness of the blankets or pillows.

• Madeleine (5/5): Great host and location. - The host was lovely and very generous. She offered and made us breakfast one of the mornings. The location was also great, and the air conditioning worked well. We had a lock on our room, and the building felt safe and secure. The room was small, and our private bathroom only had a shower head, that was shared with the toilet and sink space, which made showering very uncomfortable and difficult. It was also only hand held, with no mount on the wall. There were other bathrooms in the hallways though that had a space for the shower, so we ended up using that instead of the one in our room. The bed and pillows were also uncomfortable. However, they were passable.

• Camila (4/5): The dirtiest and best located place in Dubrovnik - The location is really great, inside the old town. Wifi also worked well. The host tried to solve some issues we had with the air conditioner, bringing a ventilator. She also gave us some bananas and took our clothes out of the clothesline when it started raining and we were out. The lack of higiene was very very very evident. Right in the entrance, there was such a mess that we could not believe. An opened watermelon was hanging outside the fridge right in the entrance for two whole days!!! It was 34 degrees in the city! It was really dirty and we found it gross, especially to take showers. The bathroom did not have any windows and was full with mold and dirty. It did not smell good. Also, the rooms did not appear to have been cleaned before our arrival. The electricity was very old, some things did not work well. Especially the air conditioner in one of the rooms did not work well in the first day and we struggled a lot with it. When we asked for the host for a solution, she said: “so sorry, go swimming.” The communication with the host was difficult because she did not speak English well. In the next day she brought us a ventilator, but the whole situation was very annoying and uncomfortable. Moreover, there was only one plug to connect both the air conditioner and the television. Overall, we would not recommend this place due to the lack of higiene. Although the price is good compared to others in the region, it was very unpleasant and we did not want to go back to our rooms in the end of the day.
• Rosalind (6/5): - It’s dingy and not the cleanest; we didn’t feel comfortable walking around on our bare feet. They put the extra toilet paper on the floor where people walked (with no wrapping), which wasn’t hygienic. There is only one plug socket to share with your roommates. The bathroom doesn’t dry out/air out properly, so there’s always a musty smell. But the bed itself feels clean. You basically get the bare minimum. Also the building security is questionable in the sense that even if there was a lock, the window beside the front door handle was left open so I was able to reach in through the window and unlock the door without using the key. However each individual room also has a lock, so that provides a bit more security. With that said, the location can’t be beat—just steps away from the Main Street of Old Town. It made our trip to Dubrovnik so smooth and convenient. Also one of the workers, an old Croatian lady, was extremely kind and hospitable despite her limited English. She let us have extra towels for the beach. It felt like we had a host family in Croatia, which was nice.

The owner is very sweet and even allowed us to store our bags on day of checkout, she was very genuine and even with the language barrier easy to communicate with. Yes the room was basic, however had true character and felt authentic. The roof top also offered amazing sunset view over the city.

Overall, it was not a good experience, we did not have a bathroom with a shower as they promoted it on their website. • Maria (8/5): Very central to restaurants, bars and we enjoyed the kindness of the lady at the reception. - Location was perfect, although a few stairs to get to the accomodation as it it located in the heart of the old town. The room was for three people and it was just enough. It reminded me to a country house room, and it was a shared toilet. It was clean and it has plenty hot water for shower. The lady at the reception was supervise and speak a bit of English. The stairs to the room were wood and it was easy to hear the other guest.

She gave us tips on where to eat and was very friendly and accommodating, adding a personal touch to our stay. Her English is not great though. Prime Location: Situated right in the middle of Dubrovnik's old town, the location is unbeatable for those wanting a traditional Dubrovnik experience. Staying in an old town building added to the authenticity of our visit. Air Conditioning: The AC was a lifesaver, especially during the warm nights. It was absolutely essential for a comfortable sleep. Small and Old Rooms: The rooms are quite small and have an old-fashioned feel, so do not expect high levels of comfort or modern amenities. Stairs and No Elevator: There are quite a few stairs to climb to reach the building, and there is no elevator. This could be a challenge if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. Noise from Outside: Being in the heart of the old town means there is some noise from the outside, even at night. It's not the most peaceful location, so light sleepers might need to bring earplugs. Parking Limitations: Keep in mind that you cannot park inside the old town. You will need to find a spot in one of the many parking places around Dubrovnik, which can be a bit inconvenient.
• Kieran (8/5): Great hotel, hard to locate 😅 - I loved how it was right in the middle of the Old Town. Perfect location, the host was lovely and there's supermarkets nearby for self catering. Also, the rooftop has a seating area that provided some great views. I spent about 20 minutes trying to find the hotel. I didn't see a sign anywhere. I was going up and down so many steps to find it, and had to ask a local waiter (to a restaurant just outside) to help me. She didn't seem all that friendly with the host at the front door, but I eventually got in. Once I was in, I felt right at home.

• Virginia (5/5): It’s all about the location. - The host was nice, and the location was phenomenal. We loved being in the old city. It’s worth it for the location alone. When we were leaving, the host offered us a sleeve of biscuits which was very nice. The bathroom does not have ventilation of any kind (no windows or vent), so it reeks of mildew and there is visible mold in the grout. We tried to be in there as little as possible. The mattress was also very hard. The room could use a kettle.
