Very cozy rooms, hotel in great location near lots of restaurants and clothes shops, 10 minutes walk to public transportation. We felt very safe and loved it very much!!

- Mohammed (10/5): Nice hotel tucked away from the Hustle Bustle - first time staying here. The hotel was very good. Looked like it had been refurbished recently and the finishing was fantastic. We were given a room with a balcony which really made a difference to our stay. Staff very friendly. Location was fantastic. Just off the main road. The only downside was that it did not offer breakfast so we had to find it ourselves. Otherwise this is a fab hotel and I would recommend to everyone who wants to stay in this area.

- Alin (10/5): Fantastic hotel for wedding dress shopping in Fevzi Pasha - We went shopping for wedding dress and we chose Fevzi Pasha street because there are many stores. Hanende hotel was the best price-quality for when we booked the flights and the hotel is right on Fevzi Pasha, but not in first line so you wont hear the non stop traffic, its on the second line. The location was the main reason we chose Hanende Hotel as its right on Fevzi Pasha, and on the other side of the hotel is the bus station that takes You to Galata Bridge (336E and 50V busses to Galata Bridge and 28 from Galata Bridge to Fevzi Pasha) and another bus to Old Bazaar (bus 36) and its also a 15 minute direct walk to Sultan Ahmet. The location is very good and the hotel is also very Nice. The host upgraded our room for free and it was very spacious, and everything is clean. The reception is also 24/7 which was important for us since the plane landed at 11 PM and we arrived at 1 AM at the hotel. Definatelly recommend this hotel If you want to go wedding dress shopping in Fevzi Pasha, but its also very good for visiting Istanbul too since there are many buses on Fevzi Pasha and You can get anywhere. Took abit of time to find it as the google maps location is not 100% accurate. The hotel is right behind the Ala Aga building, which is pink and the Ala Aga writing is in rainbow color. Thats how we knew where the hotel is and was our guiding point. As for the hotel itself, the only minus was the weak main light, but it didnt bother us.

Comfort Bathshower Value4money. if you want to close of sights but not spend more money then recmmended. Bus is 5 min and metro and tram 12 m because we have noizy "neighboors", reception will be to check and advice them to be quiet.But its ok because were happy days...

- Scott (10/5): - I highly recommend staying at this small but good quality hotel. The hotel is well located in Fatih out of the high cost tourist area, but an easy walk to Sultanhamet. My room was small but well appointed and perfect for a solo traveler. The hotel manager, Mr. Dogan, is the best. He is friendly, kind and helpful. His advice helped me have a much better visit than I would have had otherwise. He gave great advice about what to see and how to avoid being overcharged as a tourist. I will definitely return here for my next visit.

- Mohmmed (8/5): Happy to try this hotel again. - I liked the hotel very much in terms of the hotel staff, especially Mr. Nader, with his style and politeness in speech, and his helpfulness as well as to all the staff. I also like the cleanliness of the hotel and its proximity to all the restaurants and markets, as well as Al-Fath Mosque. Of course not.
- Rinaldo (8/5): No coffee, no tea in rooms - The initial room assigned to me was located right beside the front desk, allowing me to audibly hear the staff's movements and breathing. The layout of the space, with interior steps and a split bathroom, was not suitable for accommodation. Consequently, I had to pay an additional fee the following day to be relocated to a standard room. This was the first instance where I stayed in a hotel room that lacked basic amenities such as a coffee or tea maker, which was particularly surprising in a country like Turkey where coffee and tea are highly favored.

- Nermin (10/5): Lækkert hotel, super service og rent. - Vi havde et fantastisk ophold hos Hanende Hotel. Fint og meget rent hotelværelse som blev gjort rent hver dag. Personalet, specielt hr. Dogan, var utrolige venlige og service var i top. Man følte sig hjemme. Der var en rolig atmosfære på hotellet. Så skønt og afslappende. Hotellet ligger tæt på offentlig transport, som kører ind til centrum på få minutter. Gaden hvor hotellet er, ligger der en masse små caféer og butikker. Det er absolut ikke sidste gang vi skal bo på Hanende Hotel. Jeg kan varmt anbefale Hanende Hotel. 10 ud af 10 point fra mig.

Location is close to shopping area and Fatih mosque also the bus services. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy. I highly recommended this hotel

- Peter (8/5): - Very hard to find, but once inside, excellent inner city pension style. Quiet, non-smoking. Strong shower etc. Small but everything that is needed. The café below, with the same name, might open at some point. Not too many breakfast options in the immediate neighbourhood.
- Sebastian (1/5): Horrible staff - I have been in over 35 countries, this is the worst hotel I have been in from a service prospective. The staff person was extremely rude, he didn’t speak English and he kept asking personal questions. Then he actually refused me to get into my room. I booked a room in my name only for two people for 10 days. My plan was for my mom to stay with me the first two days then she will leave, then a friend of mine will stay with me only two days in the middle of my stay. My mom arrived and left. the staff person was asking me everyday about my mom for unknown reasons. After couple of days my friend arrived, the staff refused him to enter the hotel. When I started asking him why, he said “its not good” “forbidden” and “if you no like police police” i replied by saying police please, he picked up his phone and called the police, then he confiscated WITH FORCE my friend’s bag until the police came. After the police came they immediately took his side and started to threaten me of taking me to the station because I am breaking the law. They had no explanation on why I am breaking the law. I called booking and explained the situation then I booked another hotel for the rest of my stay.

- Adnan (4/5): Very Disappointing... learn some people skills - The overall location was great, rooms were clean at least although had issues, read below. Close to Fatih Cammi was the biggest plus for me. Pain Points: STAFF/OWNER/LandLord - they should NOT be running this hotel. Please pack and leave somewhere to learn people skills first. You NEED to learn how to welcome people to your hotel, some are coming from bloody long flights almost traveling for the past 20 hours... show some decency. However during my stay I had broken amenities which for starters the owners blamed on me that I had broken them, then also were trying to give me a lesson in how to use a remote control for a broken A/C, I had limited A/C during the 2-3 nights out of the week I was there, again blamed me for some reason. From the get go, the staff who were probably the owners were NOT very welcoming, I know many people have mentioned great and exceptional staff, maybe they encountered them on a pay day but for me there were fairly frowns and as if I was not welcome in the hotel that I paid for... mind you the nightly rate that I paid was $75/80. Initially I was given a room almost ina foyer and then I had to upgrade as I knew I would not be happy in it, somehow I just felt like it was a trap to get you into the hotel and then after have you upgrade. The toilet was broken, had to have one of the guys fix it, which fixed it for a day and broke again, so never really bothered him again. Overall my experience could have been better provided the staff wont frown, at least make you feel welcomed, these broken amentiies one can forget as long you one has people skills, be more welcoming, have some care and show respect. There are many things I can say about my stay however bottom line, i would stay away from this place again for as long as its the current management, I just didn't like how they were from day 1. very unfortunate as the rest of my trip the 8 days, was amazing in Turkiye... Just imagine that I didn't even spend that much time in the room as I was out of the hotel at 10-11am everyday not returning back till 11pm-12am midnight.

Expedia sollte mir die 60€ erstatten, leider habe ich das Geld bisher immer noch nicht erhalten (2 Monate her). Bin leider sehr enttäuscht vom Hotel und von Expedias Customer Service.

- Salem (10/5): Highly recommend staying here after I had the best experience. - I can’t express my gratitude to Dogan. Everything about this stay was so great. The location was perfect, the rooms were so clean, and the staff was so kind. Dogan went above & beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He helped me find suitcases, ship my items, extend my stay and made the best recommendations. This hotel truly felt like my home. The location is perfect for weddings dress shopping and so safe as well. Highly recommend staying here especially for women. I will definitely come back to visit. Nothing it was perfect.

- Unsa (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - It was great place as the shops were just around the corner. We had a pleasant stay. Only issue was we booked 2 rooms but there was no space right next to each other. The host (older gentleman) was absolutely the best! He was so helping with recommendations and even providing taxi to the airport. I would highly recommend this place as its away from the crowds. We had a bit issue with the shower drain but wasn’t a massive issue for us. We didn’t even mention it to the receptionist.

- Katherine (10/5): - We spent 3 nights here and would gladly return again! 1. The hotel was quiet and clean with a big comfy bed. Also, there's a small 2-person elevator if you want to avoid taking the stairs up. Amenities were limited: just shampoo and soap, so bring your own body wash and conditioner. The staff brought us two bottles of drinking water every day and there was a small fridge in the room. 2. It's a wonderful area for sightseeing without the massive crowds we saw in other areas. There's a really cool old aqueduct just down the street as well as some ancient Roman columns. 3. AMAZING food options within a 2-minute walk: Kilerde Kebap (Turkish food) Asia Lounge (Indian food). You can also go for coffee at a nearby rooftop cafe called Sutlu Coffee. Tbh, the staff there wasn't very friendly but the place has an incredible view of the Fatih Mosque. 4. Hotel staff were all very friendly. Dogan at the reception desk was especially helpful. He always gave us great advice on where to go and helped arrange a taxi back to the airport on our final day.

- Gordan (10/5): Great, great great! - The hotel is not as flashy as on the photo but the room was exactly as shown in the commercial which is not usually the case. Clean and in great condition. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with any problem. The room was cleaned everyday with new bed sheets and towels. If you are looking for a nice clean room to sleep over and spend your day wandering Istambul this is the hotel for you.
- Rahaf (10/5): The perfect hotel in istanbul. - Small cozy hotel. Very clean, and safe hotel. The people who work there are very nice and helpful. This hotel will always be my first choice when I come to istanbul. The location is perfect, close to everything walking distance. Perfect for girls who want to stay alone they will feel very safe. There is chocolate cafe right next to it “chocolate heaven” probably the best chocolate coffee I ever had. There was nothing that I did not like everything was very good.
