Abbiamo fatto togliere il tappeto per via delle allergie e una volta tolto e venuto fuori di tutto, da cottonfioc ad altro.Non funzionava il riscaldamento e hanno dovuto cambiarci di stanza con conseguente disagio.

L’emplacement est calme, le quartier est propre et bien fréquenté. Proche de tout Le nettoyage chaque jour pourrait être mieux réalisé dans l’appartement, ainsi que les serviettes de bain changer tous les jours, mais ça n’a pas non plus était trop dérangeant car un balais était à disposition.
- lena (7/5): Goed basisverblijf zonder meer - Het is een zeer ruim appartement. Het bed ligt goed. De keuken is goed uitgerust. Regelmatig wordt het appartement schoongemaakt en propere handdoeken. De ramen waren totaal niet geïsoleerd. Er zat een spleet van een cm die niet dicht te krijgen was. Er is enorm veel lawaai van de naastgelegen bouwwerf, ook ‘s nachts. De matras van het zetelbed is aan vervanging toe. Je ligt gewoon los op de vering.

- centralvic (8/5): Good experience. - We have just got back from staying here. We had a one bedroom with kitchenette for two weeks, and we really happy with our overall experience. I'm puzzled by reviews saying that rooms were dirty and broken. Ours was spotless, and everything worked as it should, Staff were polite, and the one time we got our room serviced we came back to it tidied like we'd only just arrived- and that's not how we'd left it for them! And things we'd left in the room were definitely still there, so no qualms about them coming in to our room. The desk staff were cheerful, with a 'hello' if they weren't busy, and we left our luggage there for a few hours when we booked out , which is always useful. When we first arrived there was a lot of noise from builders early in the morning, but that stopped after the first week, and truly, this is not the fault of the hotel anyway. The kitchenette was excellent- big fridge, half dishwasher, and a good convection/microwave oven, plus utensils and pans. It worked well for us, as we wanted to self cater. There were quite a few grocer stores nearby, so it was easy to stock up. There was a lot of space- wardrobes (and coat hangers! About 18), drawers, and a two seater table. No sofa like photos show- I don't know where that's meant to be, and it would have been handy, but then the room would have been cramped, and it certainly wasn't that. The bed was small- only a double by our own standards, which is a lot different to our king at home! But, a bigger bed wouldn't fit, so that's why it was smaller, and it was definitely comfortable, with good pillows. The area was excellent. Fulton Subway was a 3 min walk away, and though we had to learn which entrance/exit was the right one, it's not hard to figure out with a bit of patience. The trains went anywhere- it was a perfect hub, and that includes direct to and from JFK. Just so, so handy. The rooftop had a nice view. We didn't use it for anything, just went for a look, but it has chairs and tables, so would be nice when the weather is pleasant. I was so happy to be staying there. It was close to perfect, and I'd be very happy to stay there again if we were ever back in NYC.

There were some loose connections too. That disturbed the sleep for folks in both the rooms . The grandson used to wake up suddenly in the night hearing the noise. Needs to be taken care of urgently 🙏
- gal (6/5): apartment is spacious and has good amenities, but feels like there's a lack of care - A spacious apartment -much larger than most places, especially in New York. The kitchen is large and relatively well-equipped, with two full bathrooms (including bathtubs, not just showers). There’s a large fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and even a small dishwasher Highly recommended for long stays – perfect for those who want to cook for themselves and enjoy a spacious apartment. The hotel staff was not friendly at all – it felt like they were going through the motions and doing the bare minimum. The luggage room was often left unlocked, and sometimes even with the door wide open, especially when the front desk attendant stepped away - anyone could just walk in and take something. Be aware! While the room appeared clean at first glance, there was a lot of dust under the bed. Also, there was no sponge for washing dishes, although dish soap and dishwasher tablets were provided. The shared floor trash room, where guests are asked to dispose of their garbage, was extremely dirty – the floor was sticky and unpleasant throughout our entire 5-day stay. It seems like the hotel is cutting down on staff – most interactions are expected to be done independently or via the hotel app, but the experience lacks a human touch. Overall, the rooms and building seem to be maintained at a basic level, nothing more – as if they’re just keeping it going until it's profitable to sell, without putting in much effort in the meantime.

- micheals348 (2/5): AWFUL AWFUL …don’t do it - DO NOT STAY HERE! I travel a lot for work and typically use Marriott. Thought I’d try sonder as its walking distance to the office. What a dump. Bedroom door doesn’t close because the bed which is tiny anyway is in the way. Mattress and pillows are made of cardboard. The lobby, hallways and rooms are dirty and customer service is a total joke and unhelpful. There are no refunds or changes. Even thou I booked 11 nights and ask to stay for half of it for cancellation window. It was still refused. Worst hotel experience in NYC. Trust me. Don’t do it.

The rooms are also incredibly noisey at nighttime. Between uncomfortable beds and street noise, not much sleep was had.

The location couldn’t be more convenient — close to major attractions, great restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it ideal for exploring both downtown and the rest of Manhattan. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained, offering all the comforts of home with the reliability you expect from Marriott. The rooms were thoughtfully designed and spacious enough for a family, which made our stay both comfortable and relaxing. The staff were friendly and responsive, and the overall atmosphere felt safe and family-friendly — perfect for travellers with kids. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and the quiet, peaceful environment after a busy day in the city. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting New York! Bathroom plumbing is average as bath tub kept blocking

- Justyna (5/5): Very Poor Experience Dirty room, rude staff, and no soundproofing. Wouldn’t stay here again. - I was really looking forward to my trip, but unfortunately this hotel didn’t meet my expectations. The room wasn’t as clean as it should have been. The photos online looked much nicer than reality. It definitely needs better upkeep and management attention and the noise made it impossible to sleep. Everything looked outdated and poorly maintained. We decided to stay here mainly because the price was lower than midtown hotels and the idea of a self-contained unit was appealing. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. It’s fine if you’re just looking for a budget place to sleep and don’t plan to spend much time in the room, but if comfort and quality matter to you, it might be worth paying a little more elsewhere.

- Mandy (7/5): Grundsätzlich ist das Apartment super, wenn die Baustelle abgeschlossen ist. - Die Lage war super. Schön, dass man die Möglichkeit hatte die Rooftop zu nutzen. Es wurde täglich gereinigt und Handtücher gewechselt. Personal war super nett. Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Die Möbel sind geschmackvoll, einiges ist allerdings schon ganz schön abgewohnt und müsste erneuert werden, leider auch u.a. die Betten/Matrazen. Was leider sehr störend war, ist die Baustelle, auf der auch nachts gearbeitet wurde.

- Caroline (9/5): Fabulous stay in a great location. - Excellent location near the metro. Had a large 2 bed apartment (#203) which was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable, plenty of kitchenware etc, huge fridge/freezer. Good showers, plenty of hot water, comfortable superking beds. There is construction nearby but for NY, this is a relatively quiet area. The gentleman on reception was lovely, the ladies always gave the impression you were inconveniencing them. There is also a large communal lounge on 2nd floor, handy to use/change before your journey home. A great space with a huge kitchen but no coffee machine or even cups to get a drink of water.

- Amanda (7/5): - Large space, plenty of room for everything. Super comfy beds and sofa. Really lovely unit. Looks like it was a rush job finish on internal construction. All over the apartment there were skirting boards missing, sealant looked like it had been thrown on. Cutting board and kitchen sponge were missing. No exhaust fan in kitchen so be careful what you cook. Bathroom was very damp as no exhaust there either. Knew there was no washing machine but seems odd for an apartment not to have one. Most of the light switches didn't work or were not attached to the electricity supply. Lots of lamps only which made the apartment very dark. Noise was crazy! We were on 3rd floor. Day time noise was not a problem as out all day. But late night and early morning garbage trucks, people sorting bottles and throwing them on to trucks means sleep was difficult. Not the best for weary Travellers. Would also request that staff show a little more enthusiasm towards guests. Seems like Sonder in this location is run by young people where attention to service may not be taught. We had one young fellow who was exceptional. For the rest, it seemed we were more of a hassle than a paying guest.

- Martijn (9/5): Fijne midweek in NY - Het appartement was heel ruim met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamer. Enige nadeel was de airco in de woonkamer die niet uit gezet kon worden. Locatie heel goed en met de deelfietsen van Citybike kan je overal snel komen. Prijs is fors, maar de ruimte is gelijk aan 2 hotelkamers.
- Kelly (10/5): Fabulous apartment in the financial district! - It is difficult to get accommodation that has multiple beds in separate rooms (we were a couple and a parent) so this accommodation was great - the sofa bed was comfortable which is a BIG bonus. Shower had good pressure, TV easy to use and even though our fridge wasn't working well - it was dealt with and fixed promptly. This was our 2nd Sonder so we were used to the App and found it excellent. Staff are very accommodating and quick to resolve any questions. I did love there was someone downstairs to assist unlike our New Orleans stay. At one stage my phone was not charged and I couldn't remember code to get in and I obviously couldn't use the App so an in-person staff member was very welcome and a relief!! We did not request cleaning but this was a nice gesture also. Access to subway was also good for getting back uptown when required. The night noise. Yes it is NY but we stayed in 2 other hotels close to Times Square and never heard a thing. It was not the current construction next door (you cant help this!) but something else that goes all night and the windows/insulation obviously isn't enough for this so pack earplugs but I won't stop me staying here again and the benefits certainly outweigh this.

It is almost finished and we were not affected by any noise from it. The sofa bed was not comfortable. The street was really noisy and the windows were poorly insulated so we woke up often during the night due to that.

- Ashley (4/5): Low quality for the area, trash mountain entrance - The kitchen, Carolyn on staff, & some of the staff was so great but it was hit/miss cost doesn’t match the quality by far. I would never stay in another Sonder anything after this. The entrance feels like a back alleyway, and for the cost it should not be trash mountain like how off putting to show up to piles of trash but the non covered in trash entrance is “residences only” . One doorman for the residences is really rude/mean while another is so kind and more helpful. To change the thermostat I had to take the whole part of the AC off it was icky, the handle to my toilet was loose/kept falling off (they came and fixed it to be fair) but it’s just a dinghy place. The rooms were okay, the layout I had felt super inefficient/terrible use of space/lots of wasted space in the apt. It was honestly a knockoff mint house is the best I could describe it with a trash mountain entrance. I’d prefer a true hotel

The couch was a bit big, and had to walk around it and wait for other person, better if smaller or a corner so more room for kitchen openings. Had issues with the sink plug not working so had to use the bowl to wash the dishes, but it worked fine. VERY NOISY from the streets below was the only really negative negative thing! But you can’t help that unless you had better double glassed windows. Maybe a book on the table on how to use the items - coffee machine, TV, Air Conditioner, Lights, etc.

Dass man nur auf einer Seite das Apartmenthaus betreten und verlassen darf, obwohl es einen direkten Zugang zur John St. gibt.
