Guest Reviews
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Frans (9/5): We had a great time, and we thank Niki very much. - The Apt is wonderful!
It was very clean and spacious.
The location is superb.
The apt feels large, it’s very spacious.
Niki is great; he will help you with whatever you need! I wish they had a coffee maker that I liked and railing to go up and down the stairs for safety.
The ceiling is very very low upstairs where the bed is.
You have to be careful getting in and out of bed there.

- Daniel (4/5): Nice apartment in the Old Town, but the host made the stay uncomfortable - The apartment itself was nicely designed and located in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town, which made exploring the city very convenient.
The room was clean upon arrival, and the old stone architecture gave it a nice local charm. The host made the check-in experience extremely uncomfortable. He greeted us with a long list of strict rules delivered in a whispering tone, which felt patronizing and set a negative tone from the start.
Only one key card was provided “for fire safety,” which was highly impractical for two people and felt more like a way to save electricity.
The sink in the bathroom was disgusting, with buildup of dirt and residue around the drain — clearly not cleaned properly.
Only two towels were provided for the entire 3-night stay, and there was just one small shower gel.
The floor heating in the bathroom didn’t work because the fuse was disabled and glued shut.
Hot water ran out in the evening (around 6pm), likely due to a shared water heater between multiple apartments.
Host gave inappropriate warnings about not using the couch "too hard," which made us feel awkward and uncomfortable.
We were told not to move a curtain due to “security cameras” and constantly reminded not to make noise, despite clearly being respectful guests.
The host demanded city tax in cash, even though Booking.com already showed it as paid in the final price.
- Christina (8/5): Old town charm - Beautiful property right in old Dubrovnik. You can walk everywhere. Just make sure not to have too much luggage as there are lots of steps. Another thing to know is that if you book the property for 2 people, the only option is a double bed. Even though there is a sofa bed, it can only be used for bigger parties. As a result, my niece and I were not very comfortable. if you are a couple, no worries. Niki was really helpful, friendly and solicitous.
- David (10/5): Great Apartment in the old town - Great apartment right on the doorstep of everything. Well furnished and perfect. My son had the main bed and me on the sofa bed. I stayed on some sofa beds and this was the best I have ever slept on!
- Samantha (9/5): Lovely apartment in a great location - Niki was a great host and provided us with a lot of detail on arrival. He also provided some great options for restaurants close by for breakfast and dinner.
The room was a good size with everything you need for you stay, including a small kitchen area.
The location was great, with a two minute walk to the Dubrovnik Harbour and many other local sights. We are very glad to have picked this location for our stay.
- Grzegorz77 (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (10/5): Great apartment - Excellent
Great location
Some stairs but otherwise great
Plenty of room, big bathroom
- Nils (10/5): Exceptional - Property is perfectly located in old town, just by the harbour and aquarium! Made for easy stop ins during the day to pick-up/drop-off items, or get changed to go swimming by the Porporela (3mins away!).
Really liked the clean, modern design of the room. Overall great experience with the host and accommodations. Would highly recommend staying here!
- Christine (9/5): Really enjoyable - Brilliant location. Peaceful area. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped
- Judith (10/5): - Perfect location! And a very comfortable apartment on a quiet street. Would definitely stay there again.
- Sanandan (8/5): Very good -
- Merdol (10/5): A pleasure from beginning to end. - As described. No surprises. Everything you need and nothing you don’t. Centrally located, in the middle of the action yet perfectly quiet once you close the windows. Close to restaurants, bars and the water. We were lucky enough to have Niki as our host. He made it very easy to get to the property. We used a car service that I highly recommend setup by Niki. Once we were there, Niki was very accessible with all kinds of great information about the town, the country and everything else. On top of all this, he was astute enough that he readily gave us the privacy we preferred and left us alone until we needed his help. Do yourself a favor and rent this getaway today. I can’t think of anything negative to say about House Lina.
- Brad (9/5): Typical Salzburg hotel in Old Town. Nice rooms and staff. - Good location and room was good with good shower. Standard breakfast layout comes with room. Good value.
- Sadhbh (10/5): A week in the Old town - The accommodation was exactly as expected. The photos do it justice, and it had everything we needed. The apartment is located 2 minutes from the harbour and beach, 2 minutes from the start of the city wall tour, and 5 minutes from two other beaches. It is a quiet location even though you're in the heart of the place. There are so many restaurants and cafes just a few steps from the front door. The apartment was spotless and in such good condition. It is well minded and looked after by Niki. He gave us a good explanation of how everything worked and we didn't need for anything during our stay. Storia does the best pizzas and octopus salad, Konoba Aquarius's terrace is delightful, and Rudjer restaurant, right next to the GoT's staircase, does an amazing breakfast. If we were going back to Dubrovnik, we would stay here again.
- Edel (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment in an old building in the heart of the old town. As close as you can get to all the restaurants and amenities but on a lovely quiet street. Nothing!
- Tatiana (10/5): Absolutely perfect ! Comfortable and clean. Organised and accomodating hosts. - It had a very “homey” feel. The room was cozy and the kitchen was very useful with everything you could need. The location was perfect and close to everything a tourist would visit. We always felt safe and excited to come back to the apartment after a long day. The host was well organised and accommodated us for check in time when our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay here again ! Nothing !
- K (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (8/5): Fantastic Location - Cannot fault the handover, as our flight was delayed & the host accommodated, especially with it being at 11.30pm Nothing, but This is just constructed advice; shelve in the shower (you have to put everything on the floor) - Bin in the bathroom. We broke two wine glasses just through washing them in the sink (we didn’t get charged) So, stronger glassware & maybe some tall glasses for mixer & spirit. There was no iron or board in the room, not sure if they have one between all the properties.
- Annabelle (9/5): Humble property in an amazing location. Everything you ‘need’ for your stay. Brilliant host - The location was incredible! Couldn’t have been a better location for what we wanted. Lacking a few basic amenities. No bin in bathroom, only one set of towels per person for four nights, only one pillow per person on the bed.
- Nina (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing Location and very clean! Host was very kind and helpful.
- Maisy (10/5): - We stayed here for 4 nights during our time in Dubrovnik old town. The communication from the host was efficient and the flat location was perfect! Walking distance to all the main attractions in the old town along with restaurants and cafes! We would come again if we visit Dubrovnik again.
- Jenny (8/5): Very good - Location was exceptional - right in the heart of the old town and set back from the noise of the square and harbour.
- Hayley (10/5): Perfect - Roni was a great host for us. Our bus ran late and he waited for us past the time we agreed upon and he helped explain everything to us. This place was gorgeous, updated, clean, and close to everything! I would highly recommend staying here!
- Alison (10/5): Three great days in Dubrovnik - Lovely, well appointed, spacious studio apartment on first floor of an historic building. Comfortable bed, good linens, generous shower. Great location very near the cathedral. We loved it
- Ian (9/5): Excellent stay - Great location Space for luggage bags but everything else perfect
- Anonymous (10/5): Comfortable stay with everything we needed - Clean and tidy, perfect location too, the owner was very friendly and helpful Nothing
- Michelle (10/5): Perfect location and amazing apartment - Perfect location and spotlessly clean. Fully equipped with everything you’d need. Roni was a fantastic host arranging airport transfers for us and greeting us on our arrival.
Unlike many other locations in the old city the apartment was easy to access with only a few steps but still was so close to all of the best that Dubrovnik had to offer. There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It’s just a perfect place.
- Nina (10/5): Tidy, good quality and nice location. -
- Susan (10/5): Perfect spot for a couple of days in Dubrovnik - Location is perfect and it has everything you could need - comfy, clean, spacious, cute! Nothing
- Carlos (3/5): I only liked the location and cleanliness. Nothing else - location You can’t stand up on the loft and hardly can’t crawl out of the bed. Toiletries hardly enough for the stay. Staff not pleasant.
- Roy (9/5): Very enjoyable - The location of this apartment was excellent, it was so easy to explore the old city and go back to use the facilities to take a break and cool off with the excellent air conditioning. The shower room was excellent. The kitchen area, which had a small hob (induction), fridge, dishwasher and all the necessary equipment needed was also excellent. There was a good TV with access to lots of international channels however there were only a couple with the English language which wasn't a problem as the internet supported watching movies and programs online.
We found lots of things to do and see, exploring beyond the city walls on boat trips and bus journeys.
There are many bars and restaurants nearby and also grocery stores for supplies.
Thanks Roni we had a very memorable and enjoyable stay.
- Aisling (8/5): Very good - Location was excellent. Beautiful clean studio apt. Was dissappointed as I assumed we had the loft studio so was suprised when we arrived and were given the room we had. I had booked with my eyes and made the assumption it was going to be the loft one. No sound proofing. Hear everything and everyone going up and down stairs. Owner blaming other guests being noisy but I think it was more due to building and doors than anything. Wooden stairs naturally makes noise when walking up and down
Couldnt imagine being their with kids . Kids naturally are noisy and I think the owner would be too sensitive to it. He seemed overly concerned with noise levels that we found ourselves tiptoeing !
Stairs are steep. Owner kindly helped carry up cases.
Had incorrectly assumed the apt had a balcony that you could sit out on. Small balcony was handy for putting out the clothes horse to dry clothes more quickly.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (10/5): Perfect apartment for your stay in Dubrovnik. - The apartment is beautiful, and spotlessly clean. The location is wonderful and made seeing the old town and getting buses or walking to the beach very easy. The kitchen includes everything you need, and despite being in the centre of everything, the apartment is very quiet at night. Roni was a lovely host and very gracious when our bus was 4h late, leading to a very late check in. It looks exactly like the photos and is quite roomy. We loved everything!
- Hosking (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): very helpful host very nice apartment. probs let one of the best locations available - clean nothing
- Deady (10/5): Great apartment, right in the middle of the Old Town! - Excellent location!
Very comfortable bright apartment with all facilities.
Roni was very accommodating when we were arranging to meet for check in and very welcoming upon our arrival giving us some nice recommendations. Loved our stay!
- Max (10/5): Gem in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik - Absolutely superb location. Lovely fresh, clean interior, and nicely decorated.
Smiley, pleasant host who helped us arrange an airport transfer. Thank you, Roni, for the great stay. We will definitely recommend your place. While it's a clever use of space, the upstairs ceiling was quite low, forcing you to stoop.
- Anonymous (10/5): A wonderful first experience in Dubrovnik! - The apartment is in a perfect location, just off the main road enough to be quiet, yet close enough to be steps from the heart of the Old Town.
- Kat (3/5): Poor -
- Sara (10/5): Magical! Apartment was perfectly situated to enjoy the city. - Perfect location and the decor of the apartment was light, clean and had a lot of character! Roni was extremely helpful. Nothing
- Kate (10/5): A little gem in the heart of old town, Dubrovnik. - Location is amazing right in the heart of old town but on a quiet street. Easy to access all the major sites. This apartment is a great base. The kitchen area is very useful for breakfast before we went out for the day. There is a small supermarket close. Roni the host was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location and accommodation - Perfect location right in the heart of the old city located 2 mins walk from the harbour. The area has many restaurants and is in a safe neighbourhood. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable.
- Esther (9/5): Superb - Location was perfect. The apartment had everything it needed. Really friendly host. Pillows weren't the best but were adequate. Hot water cylinder could have been bigger as both of us like hot showers but only enough for one.
- Denise (9/5): My daughter and I had a magical time. The weather was good to us and we got lots of fresh air sat looking at the sea. - Excellent location. Well laid out and everything you needed.
- Rhian (8/5): Perfect location in old town! Brilliant trip. - The location of the property is absolutely perfect! located steps away from the main attractions in old town and you have everything on your doorsteps from restaurants/bars/cafes or supermarkets. The only negative about the apartment was the balcony. It is located in the middle of two buildings to the view is not great and doesn’t get any sun so you wouldn’t spend time sitting there. Also we were staying for a week and were only given one set of towels which ended up getting damp and smelly. More towels would be good.
- Suellen (10/5): Beautiful little apartment steps from the busy old town, but secluded enough to be quiet. - Location was fantastic. Not in the super crowded noisy area of the Old City, which we liked. Close to great restaurants and gelato, though, but nice and quiet in the comfortable room. Easily connected with the manager to get the keys and a little orientation. Really nice space with lovely bathroom, generous sitting area and great kitchen. Views of the old city wall. Would stay here again! A little noisy with people in the room above us walking around. Might try for room on top floor next time.
- Susan (9/5): we had a wonderful stay - The host was delightful and helpful, the location was brilliant and it was very comfortable and airy the stairs to the bed and the low head room made it more difficult for older people as we were on the third floor
- Lynn (9/5): A great little apartment in a fantastic City. We had a ball. - The location is excellent and our host was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
- Curtis (9/5): A relaxing stay in the heart of Dubrovnik old town - Great location, modern and nice facilities No iron
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alejandra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Niall (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rameshwaran (10/5): - Excellent location, lovely apartment. Highly recommend staying here.
- Janez (10/5): - Wunderbares Apartment mitten in der Altstadt von Dubrovnik. Der Besitzer war extrem freundlich und überaus hilfsbereit!
Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.
- Marilyn (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Clean, comfortable apartment in beautiful old building with modern interior. Lovely kitchen area, well equipped with handy dishwasher. Perfect location in Dubrovnik Old Town close to the city walls. Close to restaurants and bars but remained quiet. Good value for money.
- Darrell (10/5): Highly recommend Hotel Lina!! - One of our best stays with hotels.com to date! When we planned our trip to Dubrovnik, we decided to stay three days on an island at a fancy, expensive resort and then four days in old town. After one night at Hotel Lina, we wish we would have stayed here the entire time. The apartment was decorated so nicely, the beds were very comfortable and the AC is nice and cold after walking around in the heat. The host, Roni, kept in touch with us and set up transfers for us to and from the city so we didn’t have to hassle with that. Having the kitchen in the apartment saved us money on breakfast and a few lunches. The market is a three minute walk from the apartment. Everything was walkable, the location was perfect! Not right near the loud Main Street. We were so happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone!
- Courtney (8/5): Comfortable apartment in old town - Pros: Very pretty apartment with a great kitchen, everything you need. Unbeatable location in Old Town. Loved the view from my second floor apartment.
Cons: the sheets and towels were scratchy, could use improvement there. I also had difficulties finding the apartment, as my taxi dropped me off at a gate that was still a 10 minute walk away. Owner tried to instruct me over the phone, and he ended up walking to find me, which was appreciated, but more instructions in advance would have been useful.
Overall, a nice stay and I would recommend.
- Archana (10/5): Lovely stay within the medieval city - Right within the old city and very close to one of the wall entrances. You stay right within the medieval kingdom :)
The apartment is new, well laid out and decorated. Very comfortable. Everything you need is 5mins away.
Roni was great. He responds immediately if you message before you reach or during when/if you need anything. Thank you Roni.
If you visiting Dubrovnik (and you should), don’t hesitate to book one of these apartments.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The apartment was wonderful. The location was fantastic, it was so lovely to go out and see something in the morning, have lunch then have a easy walk back to the apartment for a cup of tea and a siesta, before continuing to explore later in the afternoon. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I even tried to find the label on the sofa as I want one at home! Roni was very helpful when our flight into Dubrovnik was diverted, and we found and got into the apartment without any bother even though we eventually arrived at 2am. We'd go back in a heartbeat.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Location was great. Close in proximity to an ingress for the city walk, close to main quay and well located for food and great views. The property is clean, renovated and well maintained.
