• Zachary (10/5): - The perfect location. It was a bit noisy at night but everything else was perfect
• Michele (3/5): Musty/moldy mostly below ground apartment close to the Plaka. - The location and the size of the property. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all below ground level and the apartment had black mold, an overwhelming dank/musty smell and unhealthy moisture levels. The bathroom fans were useless - did not extract any moisture - and the one dehumidifier was insufficient for the amount of downstairs space (and also had mold in the water tray). The management company apologized for the smell and said it was due to the apartment being unoccupied for a few days prior. However it was a cop out response because the management needs to solve/manage the moisture issue more proactively. It is obviously a known issue. Dehumidifiers should be running and black mold removed prior to occupancy as needed to ensure the mold and moisture are not present upon occupancy. Moisture levels were at 86% upon arrival and despite running the one dehumidifier constantly during our two day stay we could not get any of the downstairs areas below 60%. We bought scented candles to try to alleviate the smell but it was too overwhelming. I would not recommend that anyone stay at this accommodation until management takes proactive steps (installation of proper exhaust fans in the bathroom, purchase and regular running of additional dehumidifiers, constant air circulation regardless of occupancy, etc.) to remedy the moisture problem and then a thorough cleaning/eradication of the mold and smell. If that happens, the location is amazing and it would be worth $350 euros a night - even with the noisy bar across the street (really only an issue on weekends and from one bedroom).
• Roula (6/5): - The property is beautiful, renovated and fully furnished. It is very clean. We had the option of doing self check-in which was very convenient and we were able to leave our luggage at the property before check-in time. If you are looking for a good night sleep, unfortunately, it is not the right place, there is a bar across the street and it’s very noisy until 3-4am. Also, if you plan on using the sofa bed, it is not very comfortable. The property owner is very responsive and very understanding. I would recommend this place only if you plan on sleeping late (after 3am).
• Nicola (8/5): Fantastic location for a short stay in central Athens - Fantastic location. Clean. Large and comfortable bedrooms. Stylish. Kitchen/living area limited for a group of 7. But perfectly adequate for a short stay.
• Heidi (5/5): Grey, noisy and dark - Clear and friendly communication with the host and central location. This is what it's like to live in a dungeon. The living room is upstairs, but all bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs. The few windows down there are high up and impossible to reach. Very little natural light or fresh air and everything is painted grey. The windows are right next to the street, so you can hear everything clearly - traffic and people's conversations. I'm sorry to say, it was weird and rather grim down there.

• Shannon (9/5): Superb - This was a very comfortable and beautiful apartment, with gorgeous character in the high ceilings. It was centrally located to lots of restaurant choices and within walking distance to the Plaka market and the Acropolis. I would definitely stay here again.

• Shruti (7/5): The house is basic but nice with an old feel. Few renovations can be done to make it much better. - The location is good. Many kitchen facilities were missing. The rooms were in the basement so there was no natural light. Because it is near the center, there’s alot of disturbance at night.
• Georgie (10/5): - Clean, modern and extremely spacious apartment with kitchenette in an excellent location. Plenty of shopping and casual dining nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. My only criticism is that the lock & key may need to be replaced as it is quite dated and difficult to lock and unlock-that being said the lock and door are very secure and safety is not a concern. Travellers be aware that due to the central location it can become noisy outside at night time, so be prepared with ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
• Desiree (8/5): Very spacious, great location but a bit noisy at night. - We stayed here 5 years ago, the location is good, close to Syntagma, Ermou St, Plaka and the Acropolis There are more bars now, so a little noisy at night for the bedrooms with windows to the street and laneway. Could not get a late check out or leave our luggage at the apartment. Hard getting luggage down the stairs to the bedrooms.

• mary (4/5): Not recommend - The location was great for walking to nice area of the city but was noisy until the bars closed across the street. The bedrooms are all in the basement and were musty and there was black mold in the bathroom. Too bad for it was nice otherwise but would not recommend with the smell and mold.
• Maria (6/5): - Great location and the property itself was ok. It’s on a lower floor so expect dampness and there is a bar/club open late right across so it was very loud.

• Antoinette (3/5): Beware!! Great location but not worth the lack of sleep and health risk - The location was great and the place is spacious Where to start!! It is moldy, musty, loud and dirty. Also, the host is not very helpful. FYI - there is a loud bar across the street that makes a lot of noise that you can hear until early morning & bedrooms are in a musty, moldy basement. There is a dehumidifier but it is not big enough for the space. We asked for more toilet paper (we were told they do not do delivery) and the clothes rack (as in the listing) and were told that they do not have a rack.
• Natasha (8/5): Very good - Excellent location right in the heart of town! Comfortable rooms and well furnished. Great communication with host. The bathrooms downstairs had a bit of a mouldy smell. The lower level is underground so to be expected!
• Debbie (8/5): A lovely apartment. - A really comfortable apartment with lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby and very close to the Plaka area Travelling with elderly parents, getting downstairs to the bedrooms was a bit tricky with the stairs. Downstairs area a bit musty smelling, but all in all, very comfortable.
• M (8/5): - Great location - very close to shopping, restaurants pubs and the metro. Roomy bedroom and lounge area. The only complaint is that the wifi was extremely slow and it was difficult to sign in to anything. One other thing to note is that there are restaurants and bars right outside that do tend to get loud at night. The property did get back to us quickly on any enquires that we had. Overall a good stay.

• Ruth (6/5): - The apartment was in a good location of walking to the sites. The apartment had a smell of mold. The bedroom had discoloration on the wall. And my wife and I had been coughing since we returned home. We didn't make an issue of it because it was just a place to sleep. We we're out site seeing most of the time. The Internet wasn't stable and kept losing the connection. I did take a picture of the discoloration on the wall that could be mold. I don't know if there's a way to post it. Check in was easy and flawless. Athens was a great experience. The apartment could've been a little better.

• Kenneth (6/5): Pleasant - Great location, good communication, comfortable beds and everything was ready for our stay. Black mold in bathrooms, damp sheets from poorly ventilated bedrooms and almost no lighting from the outside in the downstairs where the bedrooms and bathrooms are. Musty smell downstairs so much that one in our party had to sleep upstairs on the couch. Also, a very loud bar directly across the street was so loud until 2 or 3 in the morning that most of us could not sleep until around 3am or so. 2 bedrooms had only windows at sidewalk level and constant pedestrian traffic all night made sleeping a challenge. The water from the showers could not be contained inside the shower area due to poor design.

• James (9/5): Perfect family apartment in the heart of the city - The property is located right in the heart of Athens. The neighborhood is lively, fun, and safe. You can walk to all the sites easily. The staff are very helpful and communicative. Great place for a family traveling together! The only drawback of being centrally located is that there are a lot of people out partying. So it can get noisy at night.

• Gilad (5/5): Passable - The Location within the city is great, very close to all main areas and places, walking distance to Acropolis. spacious apt, with decent shower. Very noisy at night, a loud bar right across the street, you hear motorcycles that ride on the streets pretty loud since the apartment is on the 1st floor. the place was recomended for families but I strongly disagree. The apartment was dusty, cleaning supplies were left in the middle of the hallway. Bed sheets werent satisfying. The host refused to give us extras sheet and more body wash (the small bottles you get everywhere) even though we stayed for 3 nights, very rude we were is shock.
• Natalie (9/5): beautiful apartment in great location! - Location was amazing and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see and do, even with kids aged 10,9 and 7! As a group of 7 we all had plenty of space. appreciated the air con in all rooms at the end of the hot days and everything was clean and well presented. Our only concern was lack of ability to leave in an emergency from the bedrooms which are located downstairs and in the event of fire, the bedroom windows have bars and the door downstairs cannot be opened.

The bed is comfortable and we appreciated the quality of the bed linen. Impeccable cleanness. The building is stately, situated in such a quiet neighbor, very close to most cultural attractions in Athens. Check-in is easy and smart. The host is so kind, helpful and attentive, we really want to thank him for his flexibility and kindness. We recommend this apartment!!

• Michele (9/5): Central, classic old Athens apartment, a short walk from Plaka with a great kitchen and bathroom. - The location was awesome, right off Syndagma Square and a short walk to Plaka and Monasteraki. The apartment beautiful--old-fashioned Athenian high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen, a great bathroom and a beautiful bedroom. Those of us who slept in the front room on the very comfortable sofa bed nevertheless suffered from the noise of Athens night life. Bring ear plugs!

• Rotem (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, very specious appartment and the 3 bathrooms were the best things the stairs inside the appartment were not very friendly to my elder parents, there were bips in one room a few times every night, one of the rooms did not have doors so we didn't use it, the bar across the street was quite noisy and there is no place to store the laggage between checkout time and the flight.

• arnaud (6/5): - Le logement est très bien situé et très propre, Dans un quartier idéal, à proximité de tous les lieux culturels et des rues animées. En revanche nous avions un appartement au rez-de-chaussée et juste en face de la rue il y avait un restaurant et un bar qui ferment à 1h et 2h du matin, l’appartement est malheureusement très très mal isolé et nous avons été dérangés toutes les nuits par le bruit assez fort des clients et de la musique, nous ne pouvions pas nous endormir avant 3h du matin nous sommes restés six nuits donc grosse fatigue en fin de séjour. C’est dommage car mises à part ces nuisances, appartement très propre et très fonctionnel pour quatre personnes.

• Eimantė (9/5): Great place! - Wonderful place! We were a group of 8, so we booked the entire apartment (4 bedrooms). We were very happy with our choice - nice and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, cozy decor. The location of the apartment is perfect - the old town neigbourhoods and attractions are easily reachable on foot, the area has many nice bars and cafes. I would absolutely stay in this place again! Everything was great!
