Mehr was für jüngere Menschen die Party machen wollen u - Die Lage war sehr gut sehr zentral Die Unterkunft ist sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Treppengelände fehlt. Zimmertür war die Türklinke defekt . Man hatte sie beim zuziehen in der Hand . Das Bad war ok allerdings war der Wasserhahn locker . Im ganzen war das Bad sehr verkalkt. Ausstattung etwas spartanisch.

• Mirko (6/5): Lage ok, das wars dann aber schon - Aufgrund der 7,5er Bewertung (Stand 12.05.2026) wussten wir, dass wir Abstriche bei der Wohnung machen mussten, doch die Bilder vermittelten einen guten Eindruck und die Lage mit unmittelbarer Nähe zum Monastiraki-Platz waren unsere Entscheidungsgründe für diese Wohnung. Hier seien die positiven Seiten der Unterkunft anzumerken: Die Unterkunft ist vom Flughafen ohne Umsteigen gut angebunden, die U-Bahnstation ist schon vom Unterkunftseingang sichtbar, oder umgekehrt, wenn wir gewusst hätten, in welchem Haus sie ist, also ein Katzensprung. Ebenso ist der Monastiraki-Platz, von dem man einen tollen Blick auf die Akropolis hat, keine 2 Minuten weg. Ein kleiner Laden ist gleich schräg gegenüber, dort gibt es Grundversorgung und Kaffee, viele Essen-to-go Angebote drum rum. Grundsätzlich ist alles nah gelegen und in Athen braucht man wirklich keinen ÖPNV. Das Zimmer (mer ist es ja nicht) ist soweit sauber, bietet das Nötigste und der kleine Balkon ist nett, wenn auch laut durch die "Fußgängerzone" unten drunter ist oder mal in der Staße nebenan am Wochenende Livemusik. Von den Bildern auf der Homepage sollte man sich nicht verleiten lassen, die sind schon sehr alt oder KI bearbeitet. Es gibt aber auch ein paar negative Kritikpunkte: Zum einen ist die vielversprechende Eingangstüre. Man kommt zwar nur mit einem Zahlencode ins Haus, aber die Türe steht auch öfters offen. Unser Zimmer haben wir dann im ersten Stock vorgefunden mit einem Schlüssel von außen im Schloss. Der Türgriff war nur halb reingesteckt und kam uns beim ersten ziehen entgegen samt der Schrauben. Drum herum sah die Türe aus wie ein schweizer Käse, es ist also schon lange dieser Mißstand. Wir hatten zum Glück Zimmer Nr. 2. Das Zimmer Nr. 1 roch fürchterlich und wurde auch ständig gelüftet. Hier und da hing mal was schief, sei es die Türe vom Oberschrank oder gar der Fernseher, den wir eh nicht nutzten. Der Tisch wackelte wie dem Hund sein Schwanz. Und trotz Nachfrage, ob eine Kaffeemaschine vorhanden ist, wurde mir zwar gesagt, dass man sich beim Besitzer erkundigt, doch Antwort kam nicht. Dann stand da eine Nespressomaschine und die Kapseln waren natürlich zu Hause. Die Waschtischarmatur glich einem Kreisel und der Seifenspender hat auch schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, genauso wie der Spiegel. Nun, da keine Duschabtrennung vorhanden ist, war die Folge, dass das Bad natürlich in dem näheren Bereich der Dusche geschwommen ist, auch bei vorsichtiger Nutzung der Dusche. In der Dusche selbst ist es nur eine Frage der Zeit, wann die Fliesen von der Wand fallen. Und die Ablage sowie Decke haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Der Lüfter quält sich, weil er sichtbar verstaubt ist. Sehr appetitlich ist die Klobürste. Darin steht das Wasser wohl schon seit ewig, sodass beim Entnehmen der Bürste erst mal der Boden mit Hinterlassenschaften der Vorbesitzer vollgetropft wird. Wieso zwischen Matratze und Auflage ein Karton liegt, löst bei mir Rätsel aus. Wie schon erwähnt, liegt die Wohnung in einer sehr lebhaften Straße, sodass mir nur Ohropax die nötige Ruhe beschert haben. Unter uns war in der ersten Nacht ein Saufgelage von zwei Obdachlosen, die gefühlt bis 4 Uhr morgens durchgemacht haben.

• *Simona* (7/5): Ottima posizione in appartamento con alcuni dettagli da migliorare - Ottima posizione, vicinissima alla centrale piazza Monastiraki, quindi alla metro da e per l'aeroporto e per spostarsi facilmente in Atene. L'appartamento necessita di un po' di manutenzione in più. Dalla maniglia della porta che si staccava letteralmente, alla chiave che faceva fatica ad aprire. Il lavandino del bagno basso, staccato dal lavello e che si muoveva completamente. Il soffione della doccia non funzionante e neanche una tendina per evitare di allegare il bagno ad ogni doccia.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ βρώμικο, η κουρτίνα έβγαζε σκόνες μόλις την κουνούσες, έπεφταν κομμάτια τοίχο - σοβάδες και στο μπαλκόνι αλλά και εντός του δωματίου. Πέραν των άλλων το σημαντικότερο είναι πως με το που επιστρέψαμε στον τόπο διαμονής μας διαπιστώσαμε πως όλο το πόδι μας έχει γεμίσει με σημάδια και σπυριά από κοριούς, με αποτέλεσμα αυτή τη στιγμή να παίρνουμε θεραπεία.

Il n’y a pas de: Lampe de chevet Rideau de douche, Porte serviettes Miroir Tasse à café il en faudrait une de plus si on est en couple. Ensuite serrure de la porte à réparer et fenêtre qui ne ferme pas.
• Trần (10/5): Best area to stay with a quiet comfortable room - It’s very closed to the main station, you can walk to all the tourist spots, near to all the supermarkets, cheap and good restaurants. Super quiet, I slept really well, the bed is comfy. Easy check-in, quick answer from the owner, they let me in 1 hour before the rule check-in time 15h. That’s really nice from them because we were running away from a very bad hostel and book this place really last minute 😮‍💨 I wish they have a less thick pillow, and a bit more blanket for this October weather

The description and pictures of the place where far from truthful... This room is unlivable and is a disgrace. When we arrived from the airport, we where amazed by the state of the place, the stench, the fact that the toilette can't be flushed, the complete lies of the photos compared with reality, the absence of blankets, the bed lightning that don't exists, the shower that doesn't have doors or curtains... And the list goes on... We tried to contact the owners to no avail... We contacted BOOKING that sent immediately a message to them, but... the only reply we got from the place was 3 days after to ask us to vacate the room at 11:00 the day after... we did spend 2 nights in another place that was awesome instead of them. I did try to talk to them on WhatsApp to get a refund for the money we spent in the 2 nights we weren't at this "Trendy Living in Monastiraki" and they did answered in fact... It was some lies and threat, and they never realized that we didn't use their room. This is their answer: "I immediately answered after receiving your message. We brought blankets and asked the cleaner to ask you next morning and solve your cleanliness problems. We never received any message from booking com about your complaints. This is the message we will answer to your rating." This is how you can destroy easily 3 days of holydays... Thank you "Trendy Living in Monastiraki"

• Maurizio (9/5): Stanza gradevole e posizione eccezionale - Stanza gradevole, posizione eccezionale tra monastiraki e psyri al centro della città, self check in semplice e veloce. Se devo trovare un difetto, si sentiva rumore la notte e la mattina presto dalla strada che è molto affollata a tutte le ore essendo in zona centrale.

• Slavisa (8/5): Godt valg for beliggenhet og service, men lukt kan være et problem - Jeg ble flyttet til en annen leilighet dagen før ankomst, men den lå like i nærheten av den opprinnelige – og faktisk med en enda bedre beliggenhet, midt i gågata mellom Monastiraki og Syntagma. Leiligheten var ren og velholdt, og kommunikasjonen med verten har vært veldig god hele veien. Den nye leiligheten besto kun av ett rom, hvor kjøkken, stue og sovesofa var samlet i samme litt trangt område. Dessverre luktet det mye sigarettrøyk, spesielt når klimaanlegget var i bruk. For å kunne sove måtte jeg slå det av og ha alle vinduene åpne. Heldigvis var temperaturen ute behagelig, så det gikk greit.

Proprietario super disponibile, abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con il piano a induzione ma è stato risolto tutto subito (non sapevo come si accendeva causa blocco di sicurezza attivato ma bastava tenere premuto diverse volte per risolvere) doccia senza tenda (ogni volta si bagnava tutto e ovunque) , assenza di asciugamani in cucina o tovaglioli, fessura sotto la porta d'ingresso, poche pentole a disposizione o comunque pochi utensili da cucina. Ma per 5 notte ci si adatta.

• Branislav (8/5): Prihvatljivo za kratak boravak - Smestaj je na izuzetno dobroj lokaciji sto se tice blizine svih znamenitosti, bukvalno je sve na par minuta setnje. Ono sto nam je smetalo je buka koja je dolazila iz kafica preko puta smestaja, znali smo da je centar, ali svakako je to nesto sto nam nije prijalo. Takodje udobnost duseka i jastuka bi trebalo biti bolja.

• SHI (8/5): 主要景区附近，交通方便，适合短期旅游。 - 没有早餐，取钥匙也方便，地理位置位于雅典卫城下面广场附近，对于旅游的人来说极度方便，完全不用其它交通工具，走路也很近，地铁站就在门口不远处。超市也很近，不远处还有当地的农贸市场，可以在那里吃点当地特色食品。 我是两次入住，一进门房主其它不问就问什么时候离开，显得有点缺乏礼貌，有点不爽。我离开时间订房时不是写得清清楚楚吗，何况我每次都是提前2个小时离开。

• Gabriel (8/5): Location ,location, location - Location, location, location. Perfect,clean place, easy to make your stay in Athens SUPER. Full security system for the apartment, renovated property. We came from Spetses,so the easy way is coming from the Peireas port using the metro for 1.20 euros per person and in a few minutes,you are in monasteraki metro station and the property is just there!!!!! Coming out of the property,on your right side is monasteraki square,ermou street,on your left hand side is the psirry area with so many restaurants,shops, anything you want. When is the time to travel to the airport,every 30 minutes, there is a transfer of 9 euros per person, just next to your property again. It's amazing one thing for a 3 night stay from 10 to 7-8 to 10. The PILLOWS were the only thing to let it down. They were too hard and big. No sleep, only for a few euros to buy and a second option for a pillow. Another one thing,so cheap again to buy, HANGERS for clothes (only 2!!!!!!!!!! and with a woman in the room,so uncomfortable again,you couldn't hang your clothes, Thank god it is a summer period.). Another one thing, especially with this Heat, would be appreciated if you can find one bottle of cold water in an empty fridge. Such small things to make the difference. My comments are with love ❤️
• Olga (5/5): Excellent location in the heart of Monastiraki - Excellent location in Monastiraki. Close to shops, transport, restaurants, bars and attractions. Large comfortable room with kitchenette, fridge, table, full lenghth mirror and balcony. Lots of cupboards over the bed for storage. Bathroom in disrepair. I could not connect to their WiFi network and no technician came to fix the problem (although host said will contact the technician). Had to leave the building to use other hot spots. Nowhere to hang clothes. Not suitable for people who cannot climb stairs

• Maria (9/5): Great little apartment in fantastic location. - Fantastic location, easy check in with lock box. great little kitchenette. clean linen, comfy bed. clean bathroom with hot water. host was super helpful and even arranged early check in for us. Had every needed to cook your own meals. its up two flights of stairs, but not an issue if your suitcases arent too heavy.

• Nathan (7/5): Decent apartment close to entertainment, attractions and metro. - The apartment was spacious and located in a great area close to shops, restaurants, attractions and the metro. Air con held up in the Athens heat. Host was helpful and responsive. Decent value for money. There is no lift and you need go up some stairs to the apartments. This was a little tricky with the big bags although manageable. Wifi was unreliable - very weak and sometimes didn't work at all. My apartment was street facing (others are not) and some noise from the bars nearby - I didn't really mind but might be an issue for light sleepers.

What was it,a hidden camera? 2) I arrived at night and the area where my room was located was not lighted. I couldn't see the room number to know if it was my room. There were 6 rooms and three were clearly marked and 3 were spray painted with a stencil. that was not visible at night. 3)There was a smoking area just outside my room which tainted the air coming into my room. 4)*No written instructions in my room for the WiFi pass code.* 5) I received an email from booking.com on the LAST day of my stay. Send instructions 3 DAYS PRIOR so it can be received prior to travel to destination. My bus train and plane had no internet. Once I left my home country I couldn't get messages. 6) By the time my plane arrived, the metro had stopped running for the night. I did not have any alternative plans for how to arrive at my location. It would have been helpful if the distance from the airport and approximate cost by taxi had been mentioned as a backup to taking the metro. 7)The door code for entry should have been listed in welcoming description. Fortunately my phone was still charged so I could call the property managers to get a code. It was late when I arrived and I felt bad about calling however there was no alternative.
• Fabio (5/5): Horrendous WiFi (non existent practically), great central location - The location of this property is great, no more than 3 min walking from the Monastiraki subway station. It’s also no more than 4 min to Monoastiraki square, and walking distance to all historical attractions around the Acropolis, the Plaka district, etc. The location of this property is what it has going for it! The WiFi is, for practical purposes, non existing. It is a crucial feature for people like me who do travel planning when getting to the hotel, and despite contacting the property several times via the chat, it does not appear as they can simply “reset” the router and get everything to work. It simply permanently DOES NOT work. If you need WiFi for your stay, this property is not for you! See ping results when it was allegedly working… over 1 second response time, which is itself terrible but not the worst part. The worst of all is that for most of the time the internet would simply not work AT ALL and all ping requests would just timeout

• Sofoklis (5/5): Good only for a few nights. - Perfect location very close to Metro station and walking distance to many services. It wasn't very clean and some of the facilities were broken. No shower curtains, no wardrobe, poor internet and stains on the towels. When we asked for fresh towels they said they will bring us but they never came.
• Mihai (6/5): Great location but worn-down facility - Location is ok, and having a quiet room at the back The facilities were bare-bone, over used, destroyed door handles, the steps were not set in concrete, lighting was a real issue, the entire building is a bit half-baked.

• Philipp (10/5): Nice apartment in a great location - The apartment is directly next to the Monastiraki subway station and in the middle of Psiri. Perfect if you want to enjoy some Athenean nightlife. I got a free room update too and the communication in advance was fast and superfriendly.
• Nc&af (7/5): Great location. - Perfectly located in the historic center of Athens within walking distance to everything. Very clean. The size was perfect and it was comfortable. Communication was easy, as was accessing the apartment on arrival. The small kitchen area is practical and appreciated. Situated on a small street with several restaurant/bars, and fitted with single pane windows, it can be noisy until around 2 in the morning. Also, the WiFi had issues and we weren't able to connect one morning but a message to the host had it up and running again. However, speeds are very slow only occasionally provided speeds where we were able to use it. Lastly, the shower has no glass partition or curtain meaning that even on low flow, water puddles outside the shower and unfortunately the floor is not sloped towards the center bathroom floor drain. That means using one of the allotted towels to deal with it. A shower curtain would be such an easy fix.
