Guest Reviews
- ELIDA (9/5): - Great space close to everything Hard pillow was uncomfortable
- Dorothy (10/5): - Loved the spaciousness for our large family. Beds were super comfortable. Tatami mat lounge area gave a Japanese feel to our stay compared to a standard Western style hotel room. Location was great and quiet. Not having the flexibility to leave luggage before or after check-in complicated logistics a little. Lobby was a little cramped.
- Jos1p (9/5): Ottimo appartamento, posizione strategica, ci siamo trovati molto bene. - Posizione ottima, 5 minuti dalla fermata del treno (linea Yamanote, ottima per girare tutta la città)
Appartamento tipico giapponese, letti comodi. Bagno WC la ventola funziona poco (bagno chiuso). Attrezzatura cucina da rivedere (pochi elementi).
- Rosemarie (5/5): would not recommend as too far away from most tourist sites and the breakfast was awful. - Very clean The breakfast cost was a waste of time. They give you vouchers for a place down the street that has only one option for breakfast and even that was not good quality
- Worakrit (9/5): Good size and facility - The room sizes are very comfortable, facilities provided are all good. No lift... Need to self carrying luggages on your own ... Not good for old age travellers.

- Piers (8/5): Exceptionally located, close to major train lines making transit easy - Location was amazing, room was spacious Bed and pillows were not comfortable
- Carmen (10/5): A Spacious Japanese Stay with Tatami Comfort - We had a wonderful stay at Yadoya Airbnb. The room was very spacious — we stayed comfortably with four beds, plus a tatami-style living room and extra futons, which was perfect for our group.
The kitchen area was well set up, and the entire place was very clean and well maintained. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all of my questions and making the stay smooth and stress-free.
I highly recommend this place for families or groups of friends looking for space, comfort, and a great host. Would definitely stay here again!
- JohnTeg (9/5): - Room sizes Pillows
- Bryant (10/5): -
- Søren Martin (6/5): - Nice place, close to museums and Ueno Park. Room big enough for a family of four, even for a longer stay..
- Sunee (7/5): - The space and the equipment. Pillow is strange rather than comfy. Sofa and cushions are bad smell, need washing. Kitchen sink drain also have bad smell. There is no hand towels hook in the toilet. Toilet bin is too little. Second floor room is too challenge to bring the suitcase.
- YUAN CHIAO (10/5): -
- HomeSchoolerPH (10/5): Great for a family for 6-7 - I love the place and Japanese feel of the house. I love the cleanliness. And the staff was very responsive. I loved the area and nice neighborhood. I also loved the fact that the hotel was near many convenience stores and a subway station It's a bit far from the center, there was a tear of paper that lead to the balcony, and people were loudly talking and banging at night.

- Erica (5/5): - The location was pretty good! I could hear the people above me walking.
- Qing (10/5): -
- Lourdes (10/5): A great place to stay - Great location, close to the metro station. Lots of convenience stores near by. In a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is well maintained and equipped with all the basics necessities. The washer/dryer is wonderful for every day laundry, specially for the summer days. The tatami room is a nice addition and ambiance.
Very comfortable place to relax with the family, lots of seating areas and plenty of beds.
The little kitchen is very functional and practical. The only thing that I can complain is the lack of curtains or shades to make the room darker in the morning light. We had to use sleep masks to have more time to sleep.
- Pia Sussie (8/5): Ok - Gode senge og masser af plads Ingen personale. Ingen mulighed for kufferter opbevaring inden vi skulle flyve hjem!!
- MingWei (5/5): -
- Kym (9/5): Superb -
- Adin (9/5): Superb - I enjoyed it as a base in Tokyo. It was spacious enough for a group of 4 and was well-equipped for a 5 night stay. Room was on bottom floor near the lobby--it got a little noisy in the mornings but I'm personally okay with that.
- Ellabarm (1/5): No shades wake up before the birds... - The Japanese style room There are NO shades on the window. Yes, you read it right. NO shades mean you wake up on sunrise, aka 430 am in the summer....
The location is ok needs 25-45 min to every place you want to go.
- Monk (8/5): Very good -
- Afroditi (9/5): Great last-minute find with ample space. - Great property and value for money. Staff responded very quickly to enquiries. No space to hold luggage at the property, but staff helpfully arranged storage at a local place one mile away.
- Tom (9/5): Superb - Clean and stylish. Close to train stations and walking distance to Ueno Park and Ueno Markets.
- Asbjørn (8/5): Conveniently located and practical apartment - The apartment is very convenient and practical for families traveling to Tokyo. It is well-located, close to convenience stores and transportation. The appartment could have been cleaner. It requires a thorough cleaning, including under the beds
- Guy (8/5): Great location. Very good value for money, especially for families. Cleaning and maintenance should improve - Location is great. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes walk from the JR Yamanote line, that will get you almost everywhere in Tokyo within 25 minutes.
The apartment is also walking distance to the beautiful Ueno Park and Asakusa.
The apartment is spacious and comfortable, much bigger than the size of apartments in Japan… It was the perfect size for our family of 5. Maintenance and cleaning is not great. There was one pan and one wooden spoon for our use, and both were completely burnt. However, when we mentioned to the staff their provided a new set.
Under the sink there was an odd smell, likely due to unclean water.
You should also consider that there are three floors and no elevator.
There were also no shades, so the kids woke up really early…
- Nicole (8/5): Good trip. - We loved the location and was great for traveling with all of our younger kids. The 711 was a 2 minute walk away. The take out places were open late. Seetee Cafe was wonderful. I really wish a broom and dust pan was available in the unit. The hard wood floors get dusty, especially if eating in the unit. Otherwise, it was really good. Dish soap and sponge were kindly provided along with clothes detergent for the washing machine. I would stay here again.
- Redeye18477 (10/5): Exceptional - The location is great in a safe, quiet and strategic location near the train station and many restaurants and 7 elevens.. the location is clean and family friendly, which is very important. I wish they offered breakfast and some small things like a phone charger that is compatible with the Japanese sockets.
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - .The whole apartment was really nice ! Lots of bed options and a great place to hang out before exploring the city! Off the main road so pretty quiet for a city place. There was only contactless checkin which was a little confusing but worked out great!.
- Hazel (8/5): Stay was good except for the early check out time. - It was located in a quiet residential area but very near convenience stores, groceries, restaurants, and train stations. No elevator. Early check out time at 10am. No flexibility for check out time. Doesn't have bag storage nor allow guests to leave bags in the lobby.
- Queenie (10/5): Good looking property with ample room and cute decor. Bathroom smelled bad and a bit far from train station. - Very aesthetically pleasing design with great amenities like washer and hair dryer. Bathroom smelled bad. Also a fairly long walk to the train station with stairs/slopes. It is difficult to get there from the station with multiple suitcases.
- Harlequin (10/5): WE WANT TO GO BACK!!! - EVERYTHING!!! IT HAS EVERYTHING WE WANTED AND MORE!!! Bathroom was luxxe! Tatami area was super lovely. Beds were comfortable. Interior design was truly japanese in a modern setup. LOCATION WAS SUPER CONVENIENT. Wish we we could've stayed longer to enjoy all the facilities/amenities available in this apartment/hotel. Check in was super easy too. NONE. NONE. NONE.
- Frederick (9/5): I would stay again. It worked great for a family of 6. - Space , location, amenities, and character were great. The walls are pretty thin. You can hear your neighbors if they’re loud.
- Amran (9/5): Superb - The close proximity of the train station. Iraya and Uguisudani. The room is of a good size. Perfect for a family of five. None.
- Sophia (10/5): Exceptional - The place is big enough for a party of 4 and plenty of bedding such as beds, futons, and sofa coach.
Its handy to have a waaher/dryer in the room.
The tatami is a very cute touch The beds is small for 2 people to share.
- Eyane (8/5): It was great. - The property is so spacious and enough to fit it 6 people. We stayed for 5 nights but there were no change of towels nor house keeping to at least take the rubbish away.
- Koby (10/5): - Phenomenal housing for me and my 5 friends. Such a fun area to stay and very walkable
- kate (10/5): - We loved our stay ! It was the perfect mix of traditional and western comforts. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Highly recommended
- Thibaud (9/5): Comfortable and clean room.Perfect for families. Excellent stay - Room comfort Nothing
- Kabgpach55 (10/5): Cozy and accessible place near train stations and convenience stores - This place exceeded our expectations. It was near the JR line or the subway by walking which was very convenient, there were nearby convenience stores and drugstores that we were able to buy our essentials, had a small kitchen in the room, large bathroom, big enough room for a family of 5. It was minimalistic, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay in this place and would definitely recommend it to families traveling together as the space was able to accommodate all 5 adults + 1 baby. The support was also very responsive with our questions which was very helpful. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay here! Maybe offer cleaning for people who will stay here for more than 3 days, that would be a nice plus.
- Philipp (8/5): - Just a couple of minutes away from metro station and JR station. Clean, quiet and big. Doesn't have an elevator so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.
- Marko (9/5): Very enjoyable and staff was very friendly. - It was clean, great location, really enjoyed the style. The shower water wasn't barely warm.
- Michael (10/5): - Staff very nice and nice quiet place
- Ejner (9/5): Superb -
- Miyo (9/5): Great holiday in Uguisudani. - It was close to both JR Uguisudani Station and the Iriya Subway Station, and there was also a supermarket nearby, so shopping and getting around were convenient. 1,The place with no elevator
2, The place that cannot store luggage from checkout until departure
3, The room without curtains, where outside light and morning sunlight prevent adequate sleep
- Tammy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liron (8/5): Great stay - Good location, near the train station. Very clean. All facilities are good. Beds are comfortable. The apartment is well equipment.
- Daddynisarah (9/5): Great facilities, great location, neat, spacious. We stayed for 18 nights! - I have read other reviews of this property saying the walls are paper-thin and you can easily hear others, but this was not our experience. The room was quiet, as was the neighborhood despite being very much within the city. The room will have everything you need. You can travel light since the apartment has a washer-dryer. We had everything in the apartment, and 6 or more full beds is provided. Definitely a Japanese traditional Ryokan feel to the place. Slippers and plastic umbrellas are provided in the lobby for free. The location is about 6 minutes walk to Iriya subway station and 8 minutes walk to JR Uguisudani JR station. Near Iriya station is a big supermarket, and in the direction of JR Uguisudani station is another supermarket, and in both directions a bunch of 7-11s, Lawsons or Family Marts and quite a number of ramen/teppanyaki/Yoshinoyas etc. Location is 3 stops from Akihabara Electric town via JR Uguisudani. It was money well spent and my kids even missed the place when we checked in another hotel to travel to Osaka. A minor point is that we were at the 3rd floor and the property has no elevator. However I see a wheelchair accessible room at the 1st floor is available.
- Leo (10/5): Highly recommend - Very clean. Seamless check-in and check out system. Great location N/A
- Ohad (9/5): Superb -
- Worakrit (9/5): Good value , good for family - Room size is real comfortable, good size for family at 4 persons. Should have coffee machine available for complementary too.
- Yael (9/5): Superb - Our room was very well equipped with a kitchen and a laundry machine. Located close to a metro statiio (iria station).
- Phattanee (10/5): Really like it, more comfortable for stay n transportation. - The place is clean, the room is wide enough for 6 of us. Decoration is nice, feels like modern Japanese. Providing good amenities for everything ie bath, washing cloth, washing dish, slippers. It’s very close to subway and JR. No elevators causing difficulty to carry heavy luggages. Self chk-in causing trouble for first time visitors.
- Daniel (9/5): A fairly good value money place by Tokyo standards - Property was huge and had everything we needed. Lack of curtains or blinds is very annoying. The sound insulation could be better.
- Waranya (9/5): Love it - -Washing machine & dry mode help me manage with my clothes
-the floor is not too hard so it safe for my baby(1.4yr) -Trash in toilet is too small
Contain my baby's diaper 2 pieces is full
-No lift but no problem because we stay at first floor
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (8/5): overall it was pleasant ,comfortable place to stay - big size of the room, basic home amenities are provided , near the train station ( 2 stations) you can hear the footsteps upstairs
- Abdul (8/5): Very good -
- Asanuma (10/5): Exceptional stay at Ugusui Yadaya - The style of the room, good sized kitchen, convenient bathroom with washer/dryer and separated toilet Room was a bit dusty, especially the top parts of the tatami room
- Hannah (9/5): Superb -
- David (9/5): Superb - Large space for a family stay. Spotlessly clean with good facilities and easy access (4 mins) walk to the closest subway and walking distance to Ueno zoo (15mins) and Asakusa (20mins). Not a problem for us, but note there is no elevator so bags need to be carried upstairs. We also found the walls very thin and could easily here the room next door. Be ready to wake up early - there are no curtains, just Japanese shouji (paper screens).
- Verified traveler (6/5): 排水臭い - 排水溝が臭くて部屋全体がその臭いです。シャワーの水圧弱めで水回りが弱い宿です。部屋そのものは広くて良いです
- Scanlon (9/5): Superb -
- Worakrit (10/5): Good size , good price and good facilities - Room size is excellent right for 4 persons as a family. All facilities are in excellent condition. No lift
- Pongchai (9/5): Superb - Big room and clean It would be great if it has cleaning daily
- Sonia (10/5): Great stay - Everything. The place was very well decorated with a nice Japanese style. It was big enough for our family, in a quiet neighborhood with quiet guests. We really misse black-out curtains or blinds.. And it would have been great to have a crib available for our baby.
- Kerri (8/5): Fantastic accommodation for a comfortable stay in a quiet neighbourhood. - Great facilities. Spotlessly clean. Wonderful space. Able to hear the other people in the facility quite easily. Thin walls.
- Aki (10/5): Exceptional - The family room we had was more spacious than we expected. Everything was clean and location was fantastic!
- Galit (9/5): Good location. Quiet neighborhood near Ueno and Asakusa. Convenient . Spacious and clean. - Large apartment in a nice neighborhood No elevator
We had to carry heavy suitcases to the 3rd floor
- Dorothea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tsz (9/5): Excellent stay for a group of mates - The location is excellent with extremely close access to the Iriya metro station and Uguisudani JR. It is a quiet residential zone so we may spend nights without disturbance. As for the flat, it is spacious as described. We could place five pieces of luggage easily in the bedroom area. The tatami was comfortable and there were even two showers in the flat. There is no elevator so moving heavy luggage was a bit tricky (same for the metro station) but the stairs are not long. The smell of wooden furniture was somehow strong when we first entered the flat. It would also be nice if the property could place more travel brochures at the reception.
- W.h. (7/5): Good -
- Pattama (10/5): Exceptional - Big room and very convenient Nil
- Joe (9/5): Superb -
- Assoc. (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was superb
- Ming (10/5): Exceptional - Location, Wi-Fi, bathroom and washing machine. Poor sound insulation
- Wichitchai (9/5): Good choice nearby Ueno. - - Room area and room furniture are very good, enough for a long stay; kitchen, big refrigerator, washer & dryer, big bathtub, big living room, big bedroom.
- easy to travel by public train, just 200m from the station.
- have a supermarket not over 100 m.
- have a few mini mart and restaurants around, especially Unagi, dessert, gindako 👍🏽 - No elevator, hard to carry the big luggage upstairs.
- Separate toilet is convenient but I think it is difficult for the housekeeping to clean up, I found some are not hygienic but just a little bit.
- the price is a little bit high for a few people.
- Deon (10/5): Perfect for families, very central location, Great hosts. Will definitely stay there again, highly recommend - Very functional and well appointed, perfect for our family of 5. Location was also perfect being so close to the train station, grocery store (across the road!) and plenty of restaurants only minutes walk away, also minutes from Ueno park & Zoo. Hosts reply to messages very promptly Nothing to complain about or improve
- Jerome (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious, well equipped, good location to visit Tokyo, rooftop is an interesting bonus nothing, all great
- Choi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - big room, clean
- Indhira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thien (7/5): Good - Closed to 2 train station (Iriya and Uguisudani), plenty of 7/11, family mart, supermarket and within local residents so it is pretty quiet and relax, perfectly suits for family. Apartment is quite roomy compared to other accommodation around Tokyo. It has traditional Japanese layout which I really liked it a lot. Bathroom sink is very slow to drain up which they should have fixed that. It takes ages to drain water so we have to use kitchen sink.
- Tonia (9/5): Excellent cosy spot for a family of 4 in a great central location. - Excellent central location. Comfortable, clean, new, spacious rooms. Nice spacious bathroom. Perfect for a family of 4. needed a bigger tv with more features
- Sanchez (9/5): Superb -
- Ursula (9/5): Superb - Great deal on a lovely apartment to spend a week in. Wish the cafe had been open 😥
- Kas (10/5): Fantastic! - I particularly liked the heating in this apartment. There is a single-use air conditioner in each room, which has enough horsepower to quickly warm up the room. The toilet felt luxurious and there was a heating function which heated up the bathroom quickly. The washing machine was able to wash and dry at the same time, saving a lot of work. It is big, near to many convenience stores and train station. I will not hesitate to stay here again. There were no curtains.
- Abigail (10/5): Cute clean and good value for money - We loved it here! Slept 6 people very easily, with all of our bags as well. Very easy to get in and out with a door code, so you didn’t have to worry about keys. And the bathroom was gorgeous. The beds are doubles, so it was hard to fit big tall Australians in it. Two small people would be fine, and they provide the 2 beds plus 4, so we just slept on one each and it was fine
- Santi (9/5): Superb -
