We took out our own garbage and had to go to lobby for clean towels. There were three big TVs in the suite, only 2 at a time would work. One was always broke. Kitchen sink and bathroom sink wouldnt drain.

- David (6/5): - The front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodative. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Recommendation to consider would be to install room card access into the buildings where the hotel rooms are located. There is no one stationed outside the buildings and any non-guest can open the door and access the hotel building which is very unsafe. Finally the carpet in the hallway is old and there is a sweet scent attempting to cover up the dusty/mouldy scent. I recommend either replacing the carpet or going wood tile.

House keeping did not clean the bathroom. And while my husband and myself was watching a movie the TV went out. I had to call down stairs 4 x's 3 x 's the guy at the front desk came up to try and repair the TV and of course he didn't repair it. This was my first bad review ever! I have been to another Candlewood suites before in a different city and loved it this is the reason I chose this one. However this one in Miami was the worst! I will never stay here again and i do not recommend this place to anyone!!!!!!
- Sharon (4/5): - Stayed here at this hotel for a total of 8 days for an extended stay to recover for a surgery. Front desk and checking in was great, parking kinda sucked for my situation. The hallway getting to our room stank so bad of must/mold and or cigarettes as well as when we first opened our door to our room. We bought sprays to avoid the smell. No complaints on the actual layout of the room. First night I slept in the bed I was itchy, the very next day I had surgery and slept in the living room on the little recliner the remainder of my stay accept one more night because I just couldn’t get comfortable I tried to give the bed another try…. But nope… I’m covered in bug bites assuming bed bugs- and also a few nights in I happened to look up and noticed the mold on the vents in the living room and then in the other room my friend was sleeping in. Next day maintenance came and sprayed it with something not sure what but hopefully helps bc my stomach and breathing were not ok the first few nights but hard to tell if it was the mold or the surgery. It was overall a nice place to stay minus the bug bites, mold and smell. As an IHG member I probably wouldn’t stay at this location again

- Fernando (2/5): - The property uses stock pictures from another property to advertise this property what you see in the pictures is not what your getting at all the room has the AC in a inconvenient spot which cause you to be hot at night no matter the temp also the room stays muggy because of this the hotel itself is rundown and dingey do yourself a favor and don't stay here they also charge 50 dollars for a deposit on arrival which I was not aware of until I arrived the grill area is rundown and the pool was dirty as well it's a shame that the company that owns this hotel either is not aware of its conditions or knows but does not care DO NOT STAY HERE and make sure to read all the reviews like I should have did

Very roomy and bright, very clean, had a kitchen with all the necessities. The hotel was quiet and felt safe. The lobby was cute and the front desk person was vey friendly. It was perfect for my one night stay. When I come back to Miami I would definitely stay there again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Excelent stay - We had a very pleasant time in a beautiful, cozy, quiet, and clean place. The staff was very friendly at all times and responded to all our needs. The apartment had all the amenities, including a kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a dishwasher, an iron, and a hairdryer. The place also offers a laundry room with washers and dryers available for guests to use free of charge. In the lobby, they had coffee, decaf, and hot chocolate available 24 hours a day, also free of charge. There is a pool, and it is located just 30 minutes from the city of Miami. It’s a very central location from which you can easily travel to different cities on Florida’s west coast. I loved the city of Doral, where it is located, as it is a very peaceful area with many stores nearby and other essential services in case of emergencies. Excellent place and service! Highly recommended!

- patricia (2/5): - Everything was wrong. They sold me a king bedroom and got a full. The bed had a huge slump in it. the AC would not stay on. The room was moldy smelling so much so that our sinuses were on fire. The refrigerator was dirty and didn't work. The front doors are thin, so incredibly loud.

- Michele (2/5): Hotel from hell - Checked I. And went to our very dirty room. Mildew and dirt on window sill. Mildew on draperies. Moved to a cleaner room. Tv did not work. Maintenance worked an hour to repair it. Then the iron did not work so had to request that. This hotel is NOT already for guests. They are renovating parts of the hotel but supposedly the room we stayed in was completed. I can not recommend this hotel👎

- Anthony (4/5): - Check in was ok. Hotel is under construction, and this was not disclosed when booking. No baseboards in any hall or in our room. Paint chips everywhere in halls. Not toddler friendly for the time being. Kitchen was a mess, under the kitchen sink was gross and smelled of old wet wood. The floor was bubbling in kitchen area. Nightstand in bedroom not secured to wall and nearly fell on our toddler. The bathroom and the beds were nice.
- Mark (8/5): - First time staying at this property after staying at Hilton properties for the last few months. My initial impression at check-in was actually pretty terrible, and they suggested I cancel my reservation because of an issue that came up only when I arrived at the front desk at 10:30pm, without any meaningful offer of a solution. I walked out pretty frustrated and upset, but came back after a short time and was greeted completely differently and we overcame the issue and had a much better experience. The rest of the stay was nice and the room was very good, exactly what I needed for the weekend. It's not very fancy but it has everything needed to feel at home, which was important for this stay.

- Henry (10/5): 3 Night Stay in January at Candlewood - Overall, I would give it an 8/10. The associates at the front desk at arrival and check out were polite, friendly, engaged, and polite. The room was clean and cozy. A small kitchen yet practical and I could appreciate that. The bathroom was clean, all the plumbing worked correctly, and they had complementary shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap. All the towels were nice and clean. The cons were that the wing of the hotel I was in was being remodeled. Therefore, the smell of fresh paint was annoying to me as the dust from the sheetrock as I entered and in and out of the hotel. The carpet in the room was outdated yet clean. And, the baseboards in the room were exposed, showing cracks and holes. I think it was unfinished. I would recommend this hotel. When I head back to Miami later this year. I will return.
